$1,000,000 Wedding Liability

My venue wants us to have a $1,000,000 Liability which was weird considering my friend got married at the same place and none of her paperwork says that amount. So I ask the venue and they said there trying something new. Does anyone know where I can possibly get this from?

    All of the old historic DC venues we looked at required insurance, if you have renters or homeowners insurance already you can add it. I know through USAA it was going to be about $300 for $1M.

    Add the venue and all your vendors as additional insureds.
