Stephanie, on April 4, 2018 at 9:36 AM Posted in Planning 0 8
As of today, it is 100 days until my wedding! I feel like I'm behind and have lots of stuff to do but it's mostly just little stuff. Does anyone have any advice for getting into the double digits? Thanks!!!

Congrats! That's so exciting. I'm at 114 - almost at double digits.

    Following for advice...

I have 93 days left and I feel the same way as you, but I know it's little things like finishing the centerpieces and assembling the programs! We drop our invitations off in the mail tomorrow!

I would just schedule a couple things to get done each week. It's helped me so far!

Get a calendar and write all important dates like payments for the dj or final count for the caterer. Look at it constantly so you don't miss payments. Schedule your dress fitting soon. I would look into independent people instead of bridal stores because bridal stores will upcharge and have more dresses to worry about. Someone private will work with you to create the look you want. Make sure all bridesmaids dresses are ordered. David's Bridal at least puts a ridiculous estimated delivery that can be 4 months out. Start a seating chart. You don't know who's for sure coming yet but you probably have an idea and not having to start it from scratch so close to the wedding will make you feel a lot less stressed. Get ahead on planning: songs, order of speeches, timeline for the ceremony and reception, timeline for the day, vows. Any stuff you can do now will save you when you have a month to go and everything is due. I'm 45 days away. It flies by, so also remember to take breaks and do non wedding related things. You're at a time when all your big decisions are made so it'll happen even if you forget to get mirrors for your centerpieces of whatever small things are left.

You are amazing. Thank you so much! The seating chart idea is something I never would have thought of (sometimes I procrastinate)!

Much of what everyone has already suggested. I started looking into ideas for the BP gifts. Recently purchased them from Etsy. Also, WW has a seating chart on it. You have to have all of the guest info in it, but honestly, it's so great. As I get the RSVPs in, I can select their meal choice and seat them at a tentative table just to get a visual of how it will look. I'm 64 days out and this has been super helpful. It has a "stats" tab so I can easily keep track of meal selections and who is coming/not coming.

At 100 days out, I also started researching jewelry to wear the day of. I also began addressing/stuffing invites since it was a tedious task. I wanted to get that part out of the way. I even got the favors ordered and printed up a TY note for each guest that will be placed at their place setting with the favor- a mini bottle of wine. oh, also, figure out how much for tips you are planning to give to vendors and tuck it away in an envelope. We didn't factor tips into our budget so now I have to put it away with each paycheck.

This is all I can think of right now from my experience. Good luck planning! It goes fast and you will be married before you know it!
