10 days to go...we hope!

Like many we have had to change our plans multiple times. We have moved our big wedding out to next year, but we plan to elope in 10 days time if all goes well. We originally were planning to do it in NC where I live, but because of FH's travel restrictions I am now going up to him in DC. Busy packing everything I need including wedding outfit, the bouquet and boutonniere I DIY'ed, and a knife to cut the cake. I'll pick the cake up on my drive there because need a cake if we are getting married! I lost it yesterday when we found out the fancy hotel we were supposed to be staying at won't be open so we have had to find alternative accommodation, which impacts getting to and from the ceremony site. Thankfully FH came through and made a new booking quickly. Who knows what other hurdles may come our way in the next week and a half!
