We originally weren't going to have a ring bearer but after my family reunion this week I realized that all of the grandkids are in the wedding to some extent. My daughter is jr. bridesmaid, my soon-to-be niece is our flower girl and my brother and his wife have the most adorable son but he will only be a year and 1/2.

My thoughts were to either stick with not having a ring bearer or have SIL (who is a BM) carry him down the aisle. I just think that if we have him totter down the aisle himself we might be waiting all day Smiley winking

Does anyone have any similar situations or opinions on this? Thanks!

My son is almost four, he's our RB. Then we have two FG, one will be exactly 12 months and the other will be 19 months. I'm thinking about either having Eddie pull them in a wagon type thing or just have him escort them down the aisle. He'd probably just push them or something if they didn't move though lol

I think you should try it. If he decides he doesn't want to do it that day, who cares!

My younger son will be a ring bearer next week, and he is 20 months. I'll be standing at the front of the aisle w/his favorite teddy. The kid is going to run to it, but at least he'll make it to end Smiley smile Give them a focal point at the end of the aisle and he should be good to go.

My ring bearer will be 4 and my FG is going to be 14 months so opposite of you. We're just having them walk down the aisle hand-in-hand. We're getting married on the beach so I can't do the wagon idea (which I love BTW).

Strollers pushed by an attendant make a great alternative. Cute, too! Decorate them with flowers and its adorable. That way the little bugger makes a cute entrance, guests love it, and then he is wheeled off before causing The Scene.

Or, check out this stylish ride! The most elegant radio flyer, ever!
