Tips on bug proofing tent?

Our tent is in a field. Looking for tried and true methods of reducing bugs? I was thinking of spraying walls and table cloths with bug spray- but I'm not sure if that's either effective or damaging...
My mother is insisting on ordering a wooden bouquet But unsure what the final color will be to match up?

So my mothers offered to do the flowers for the wedding which is extremely nice and I really appreciate it but now she wants to do the bouquet wooden (Which is extremely pretty and neat (Google them)...
