Is it a common thing to have a wedding at a hotel? I've been looking into it but i feel like it would be weird. What are your thoughts?

I haven't found any old fashioned riverboat cruises as weddings on here as venues in our area, but we're getting married on the River Rose cruise out of Newburgh, NY. It had great reviews and the crew is very accommodating. They do their own catering...
