Activity for Emily

I have been thinking of some small (1/4 inch or so) heart cut outs that were used for confetti for the each of the tables just to give them a little something extra... My mom said that it might look tacky.. ???

Need help... any ideas? Don't think they are entirely necessary... and truthfully don't want to spend any more money on a piece of paper my guests are going to throw away... I would rather make little individually wrapped tissues that have a cute...
