Anybody that has registered at bed, bath and beyond I've heard conflicting things. Do FH and I need an appointment or can we just walk in and register?

So it's too early to book hotel rooms anyway but I was wondering for a guest count of 175 people, probably 20ish being out of the state, how many rooms do I book? I don't know that all 20 will even come and local guests may want to stay there too.
