I’m 34 years old I grew up with Sean well in the same town we always liked each other but the timing was never right either I was in a relationship or he was or soberliving I was and still am an addict but I’ve been clean for over a year now sean has three years I lost my kids through my addiction I was in prision and got”lost in the system” I had a three year sentence and they kept me three months over my time the day after. I was released was the adoption court date me n my child’s father had been broken up for a few years but I was with him at 16 when we moved out I believe we broke up and I met Sean or we knew of each other but he came and hung out with me I got back with my kids dad and then after 12 yrs finally left me or Sean can’t remember how we found each other but I wound up at his house the day I had to turn myself in to jail fast forward seven yrs later I would say I had been in a relationship with a man who was abusing me but I was also using in addiction at the time one day he really hurt me almost killed me I ran out the house. He called the police on himself and went to jail and rehab I went to detox and soberliving I remember telling a close friend when he gets out I’ll have a whole new life and I did. I was dating again sean just came home from Monroe he had three. Years clean and was working at a rehab out the blue Sean calls me while I was working well texted n I was straight to the ol points asked him if he wanted to hang out and that was it we were inseparable he drove to atone rouge two to three times a week I was still in soberliving so I couldn’t just leave well my ex was harassing me I stopped dating other people of course I again had to ask if we were idk what we were Iam very emotional sensitive fun n a lil irresponsible and Sean’s not he’s the calm to my storm anyway he asked me very indirectly Bc he has no idea how to express his feelings before we even slept together to move in now here we are a lil over a year later planning our wedding in my heart God /my higher power knew if we were together when we were using we would’ve never made it when I was with my ex I prayed for someone like him but not like his name and before I told him that he told me he prayed for me specifically ……. Like I said I have no family my side will be my friend who turned into family when I moved to sober living in Baton Rouge sean has everyone except his grandma we literally one grandmaw I have a two sisters and three brothers alive I dont speak to and that’s all my dad was murderd and I would give anything to have him walk me down the aisle ok well that’s our fairytale
