I stuck with Sandos Playacar Beach Resort. They did everything they could to accommodate my demands for having their new section not be ready in time for my wedding. The resort turned out to be really perfect for my 100 guests because of the size. I wanted to have a reception on the beach and many resorts don't allow that during turtle season so we were limited with options. Also many beaches are now filled with seaweed now because of global warming so Sandos was one of the few that you can swim in. And not every day, it all depends. We spent most of the time in the pool. Good luck!

Hi, I was wondering what resort you ended up getting married at? I’m also interested to know what resort cancelled on you 3 months prior to your wedding date? I’m trying to pick a resort in Mexico for our destination wedding and any insight you can give would be very helpful!
