Who has had or is having a destination Wedding? How did you plan, who did you go through? We're leaning towards this route now and I'm just curious as to how it all works

Our venue offers a cannoli for all our guests free of charge. I was thinking instead of cake to do the cannoli and a cup of ice cream. Of course we'd still have a fake foam decorative cake with real anniversary cake on top to cut. Would this be okay...

We have our venues narrowed down however we are going for a rustic theme wedding, the ceremony will be outdoors in a garden type area however the inside is just your average wedding banquet hall. Would a rustic theme be awkward for just a regular...

When should we book our venue? We are getting married September 20, 2019. We are set on that date. The ceremony and reception will be at the same place but they only offer one spot for 6pm ceremony...and being that it's a Friday we want that spot....

I plan on mailing a little gift (proposal) for my potential wedding party , how do they respond if you don't hand deliver the package? I'd prefer mailing so they don't feel pressured to say yes but I would like to make sure they respond either way! ...
