Crest white strips

Brianna, on December 31, 2017 at 3:00 AM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 17
Do crest white strips actually work for teeth whitening or should I call in the big guys at the dentist?

They have worked for both me and my fiancée in the past. If you have a lot of whiting you want to do I recommend doing it twice with 3 or 4 months in between each use because they do make a difference but they arent magic so if you want perfect whites it'll take some work

I’ve tried them and they caused me to have a lot of sensitivity with my teeth. I’ve talked to my dentist about whitening and what she recommended was having trays made to my teeth that would last a long time if taken care of. That would cost $300. That comes with 4 syringes of bleach which she said it won’t take that much to get them white and then when you need a touch up you just use them again. After the trays are made she said an additional 4 syringes of bleach would only cost $25. I think that would save you money in the run. That’s what I’m planning on doing.

They worked for me but made my teeth sensitive for a while so I don’t trust that it’s totally healthy for enamel.

They work, but can make your teeth sensitive. If you plan on continuing to have your teeth whiting after your wedding then I would suggest seeing your dentist.

I went to the dentist and mine are super sensitive. Mine weren’t anywhere near as low cost as @Kylee. It cost me like an arm and a leg. Me personally I’m really over the color over my teeth after all of that. Everyone is different, though.

Yes they work great! Be careful not to overuse them though as they can make your teeth super sensitive to cold/hot temperatures.

I got mine done at the dentist a few years back and that made my teeth so sensitive I couldn't even open my mouth to talk for hours. They may have changed their formula since, but I would plan on having the sensitivity no matter which method you go.

Yes they work. I used them at the beginning of the year and my teeth are still noticeably whiter.

Toms sensitivity toothpaste is amazing stuff. It’s sold at Walmart and it helps my teeth in minutes feel better.

I tried this over 10 years ago. Made my teeth splotchy and sensitive. I'm following this thread to see other responses.

They do work, but as others have pointed out, they can cause a lot of sensitivity. The gel whitening is usually a little cheaper, just as effective, but a bit messy... I don’t remember having the same sensitivity issue with a gel.
