Working with LAuren from Your Aloha Wedding was a dream come true. I thought I could handle planning a destination wedding on an island that I knew no one. While I acomplished a lot I knew I needed help and found Lauren. She went above and beyond from setting up the marriage license appointment, dealing with contract issues with a vandor and letting me ship things to her house. She was professional, kind and thoughtful. The day of I was able to truely relax and enjoy thanks to her. Finding her and using her was one of the best decisions I could have made and she made everything perfect! -

Veronica and the rest of the team at Your Aloha Wedding Company were amazing in helping us plan the wedding of our dreams! With so many moving parts and details, no wedding is perfect, however, Veronica made the process efficient, organized, and most of all fun ensuring that our wedding day was as close to perfect as possible.
For anyone looking to plan their wedding, Veronica was always extremely friendly and helpful with all of our ideas and requests during planning. She was highly experienced and ensured that we didn't miss any important details while also allowing us room to be creative and get involved with the process as much or as little as we wished.
Every step of the way Veronica was so knowledgeable and easy going, it really turned what is normally a stressful process into an enjoyable journey and we are so grateful for all her hard work!
We definitely highly recommend Your Aloha Wedding Company to any couples looking for a planner in Maui. They are so easy to communicate with, detailed oriented, experienced, well connected with vendors, and of course a absolute pleasure to work with!

We could not be happier about our experience with Veronica! Living in Ohio, we were a little nervous about planning our wedding so far away, but the process could not have been easier. Veronica was extremely attentive to detail from the moment we started planning. Our weekly emails were always very informative, yet not overwhelming. Veronica provided helpful suggestions on everything from venues and vendors to places to stay and things to do. She was always timely and efficient with her communication, and a wealth of knowledge.
It is not easy picking vendors that you have never met, but luckily Veronica seemed to know all of them on a personal level. She was great about talking things through with us in some of our more indecisive moments and was always very honest with her suggestions. We even set up a few Zoom calls, despite a 6 hours time difference, to go through some of the more detailed steps of the process. She helped with some budget decisions when our guest count became double what we were originally anticipating, and we were able to make payments through Venmo which was so easy! Veronica also allowed us to ship some of our decor out a month early. She let us know the moment it arrived and brought it to us the day of the rehearsal to go over our setup for the next day.
I'm sure I missed half of the things our coordinators did the day of the wedding, but everything was stress-free, flawless, and stunning! We did absolutely nothing except enjoy our day. Everything was set up perfectly before we arrived at the venue, and later was collected, organized, and packed up to leave before we finished dancing. Veronica was such a calming presence throughout the day, and she is truly one of the kindest people I have ever met. We wish we could relive our wedding day over and over again!
Our experience with Your Aloha Wedding was incredible from start to finish, and we cannot recommend them enough for a destination wedding in Maui! -

We highly recommend Kara and her team at Your Aloha Wedding!! I am from Australia, while my husband is from Canada so we decided on a destination wedding on beautiful Maui to have our families meet in the "middle". From our initial consultation call, we knew that Kara was the perfect person to make our dream wedding a reality. She is so kind, fun, incredibly organized, creative, and has a calming presence. Kara helped us with finding the best vendors, ensuring we stayed within budget, made wonderful suggestions, and answered our many, many questions, all while making us feel like we were the only couple she was working with. She was always prompt in her replies, and provided so much helpful information.
Kara also supported us through two postponements due to COVID-19. She held our hand through them both and ensured that our wedding day would still be perfect when it happened, and it was. This meant that we had the great pleasure of working with Kara for over 4 years of wedding planning! We had a trip to Maui a few years before the wedding to meet with potential vendors, do venue site visits, and catering and cake tastings. Kara had our itinerary all planned to a tee.
The same can be said for the week of our wedding in Oct 2022. Everything went perfectly. She made sure that everyone felt comfortable and prepared at our rehearsal. On our wedding day, we wanted to fit in so much and Kara made it all happen. Looking at it on paper, it was a tight itinerary, but it never felt that way on the day for us or our guests. It all flowed so well, and everything looked absolutely stunning. All of our guests complimented us on what a perfect wedding it was, and we owe that to Kara.
If you are looking for a Maui wedding coordinator, look no further. Kara and her team are truly the best of the best!! -

We absolutely loved working with Kara and her team at Your Aloha Wedding Co. They made sure that our wedding was everything we had dreamed it would be and more! It is not often that you hear stories about wedding days being absolutely flawless but ours was FLAWLESS and beautiful and I can say, without a doubt, that Kara and her team were to credit for that! She is so organized and makes the entire planning process a breeze. Planning a wedding from a different state seemed daunting, not knowing the vendors or locations or being able to meet or view in person before hand, but that was no problem once Kara was involved! She put us in contact with all the vendors, and we loved each and every vendor that we had! The best thing about Kara is that she made me feel like I was the only bride she was helping to plan a wedding for, since all our correspondences were fast and personal, but I know she is very busy! Kara and her team at Your Aloha Wedding delivered the day of our DREAMS! We could not have asked for a better day, or a better planning process.
We initially interviewed 3 wedding planning companies when we started our wedding planning process. Literally, in the first 5 minutes of the conversation with Kara, I pointed to the phone and whispered to my fiancé “WE NEED TO HIRE HER!!” From the beginning, she was communicative, prompt in her responses, organized, and made the planning process so much fun! We planned the wedding over the course of a year, so nothing ever felt rushed or hurried. I was able to take my time and really think about my options to make my decisions. She had these fabulous lists of preferred vendors that were all excellent! It was so hard to choose between them at times because their work all looked so great. Even when one vendor was unavailable on my day, Kara knew my wedding vision so well, that she was able to seamlessly make other recommendations that would fit the vibe of the wedding.
We had a wedding planning trip in October of 2021 where we were able to taste food and take a tour of our venue. We got to meet her associate, Veronica, who was so helpful in the process!
When wedding week arrived, Kara was communicating with us as soon as we arrived on Maui. She ran the wedding rehearsal with ease and made my family and friends feel so comfortable. On the big day, she worked tirelessly all morning to make sure my venue looked perfect—and WOW! I walked into the chapel and my jaw dropped. Everything looked stunning and I couldn’t believe it was all for us! She made sure the wedding ran right on time, and made sure the day flowed nicely. All of my guests had rave reviews about Kara and her associate for the day, Lauren. They couldn’t stop talking about how kind and personable she was, not to mention organized and efficient. We initially struggled with ideas for a wedding send-off at the end of the night…I wanted a sparkler send-off, but knew it probably wouldn’t happen, since sparklers were in short supply on the island. I don’t know how Kara did it, but she surprised me at the wedding with sparklers for my guests and we had the send-off that I always wanted!
And just when I thought the wedding fun was over, we arrived home in San Francisco to a package from Your Aloha Wedding. Inside, was a tin of Honolulu Cookie Company cookies (the BEST cookies!) and a note from Kara & Veronica to welcome us home. They truly thought of everything and it was an incredible experience from start to finish!

My husband and I are so so so happy we chose to go with Your Aloha Wedding Company for our wedding! We first talked to Kara, who was extremely helpful from the beginning, answering all of our questions about the process and sharing possible venue options with us all before we chose them as our planner. We wanted to have our wedding ceremony and reception on separate days, so we had a few more moving pieces than some weddings, but Kara and team can absolutely make your dream wedding come true.
It was a really easy decision to book Your Aloha Wedding Company after talking to Kara since we could immediately tell we would be in great hands, and we were matched with Veronica as our coordinator who was INCREDIBLE throughout the whole process. She took all the stress out of planning and really brought our vision to life! My husband and I did all our planning remotely, so we relied heavily on Veronica for her recommendations for vendors, and they all turned out to be amazing. We honestly would have been completely lost without her - we had no idea the amount of planning and details that go into a wedding, and Veronica knew how far ahead to book each part and was on top of everything so we didn't have to be.
We had planned the reception to be outdoors with food trucks, weather permitting, but with an option to move indoors as a backup plan. Wellll it was dumping rain on the day of our wedding reception, but Veronica didn't bat an eye. She got everything to fit beautifully indoors and worked with the food trucks to deliver plates to the tables during dinner so our guests never had to venture out in the rain! No one had any idea it wasn't planned indoors all along, and that is all thanks to the behind the scenes work Veronica did throughout the night to keep things running seamlessly. And the best part is my husband and I could completely relax and enjoy the day with our friends and family without worrying about a thing.
Our wedding "weekend" was better than we ever imagined, and we are so grateful to Veronica and the Your Aloha Wedding Company team for making it happen!!! -

We hired Kara at Your Aloha wedding to plan our destination wedding and she did not disappoint! She’s super easy to talk to, very responsive and extremely thorough. Working with Kara made the planning stages a lot less painful for us and she made sure every last detail was taken care of. Her vendor recommendations were great plus she had a lot of different prices to work with so we could stay within our budget. Our wedding ceremony and reception was absolutely beautiful, fun for us and our guests and definitely memorable. Kara and her team were a godsend! HANDS DOWN. The best wedding coordinator out there and the best decision that my husband and I made in the entire wedding planning process. To give a little background, my husband and I live in New York. We knew that early on we would need someone to be our eyes and ears on the ground to make our dream of having a destination wedding in Maui come true. After having one conversation with Kara on the phone, we immediately knew that this was someone who could make it happen. Kara was extremely professional. She was organized, kind, and patient with us each step of the way. She truly listened to us to curate the best day of our lives.
As many of you brides out there know, the planning process can take a considerable amount of time. This was about a 15-month long process for us. Although we were in different states, different time zones, and speaking via email or phone, Kara's communication was excellent. She would make sure to reach out to us, follow up with us, and answer our questions promptly. She had a wealth of knowledge and expertise in all of the different services and vendors on the island. She was able to help us stick within our budget so that we could prioritize all the things we wanted on our day. I'm going to be honest, it was a little sad not seeing an email from Kara post-wedding because she was just such a joy to work with.

I cannot provide enough praise to Kara and her team of vendors. While I know several recent and upcoming wedding celebrations had similar situations to mine and my husbands, I never for a second doubted that Kara made us a priority. David and I had gotten engaged pre-pandemic and booked our “original” wedding for September of 2020. During our year of planning with Kara, our plans abruptly shifted 30 days prior to expecting to say I do in Maui. With all of the uncertainty from covid, and the restrictions in Maui, we ended up having to postpone our Maui celebration. Kara immediately provided us new dates and ensure all our vendors were available. The communication through the uncertainty, the time Kara took to understand mine and David’s wants in our celebration, and the level of comfort she consistently provided throughout the last two years was a huge reason I made it through with a smile on my face. Kara even went above and beyond to ensure my husbands dream drink was available for our entire wedding. We needed up having our Maui celebration in June of 2021, and oh my goodness it was the most beautiful, and fun, experience my husband and I have had. I would 100% recommend your aloha wedding and Kara to anyone who is getting married. Thank you again for everything, Kara! You are amazing and we are so lucky to have found you! -

Kara with Your Aloha Wedding Company was so helpful from beginning to end and even after. She's always been very responsive and answered any and every question we had. She went above and beyond getting us tons of quotes when we were indecisive about venues and worked to stay under our budget. I liked that she referred to pintrest pages to get the feel of our inspiration and gave us a lot of ideas we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. I grew up on Maui and took a lot of recommendations for vendors from family and friends but our actual venue choice was a place I had never heard of, but Kara suggested it based off of our needs and budget. Kara was great with setting up timelines and reminders of what we should be working on at different times. It was way easier to communicate with just one person than having to juggle so many vendors. Everything turned out perfectly and she helped make our dream wedding a reality! -

Cheré Sent on 12/23/2013I wish I could give 1000 stars. Kara at Your Aloha Wedding was the absolute best ever. From the very beginning to the day after the wedding, she was on every detail. Her calm demeanor and hard work made the whole process feel like a perfect dream!
I thought I was going to make myself crazy trying to find pictures of exactly what I wanted. I explained it all to Kara and I was afraid it didn't make sense, but she knew just what I meant and who could make it happen.
No matter what went wrong or what last minute changes had to happen, Kara made it feel like it would be no problem at all.
Our wedding day was gorgeous and looked like something out of a magazine. The guests were in awe and still talk about it to this day. I have already told everyone in Alaska how amazing she was, I can't imagine there is a better wedding planner out there anywhere!

I found Your Aloha Wedding when looking up wedding planners in Maui. We knew we needed a wedding planner as we would be doing 99% the planning from the mainland. I reached out to a few planners and Kara was the first and fastest to respond to me (I think within a day)- after a phone conversation we were sold and booked her to manage our special day.
The whole process was the opposite of what you hear from many brides about planning a wedding- I felt pretty much zero stress as Kara handled everything and was so responsive and organized I trusted her completely. I miss our almost daily emails too-it became such a big part of my life for
a chunk of this year. The vendors she recommended clearly have a good working relationship with her- we received exceptional service and our guests were wowed by some of the details.
I truly had the most beautiful wedding- it was honestly more beautiful than I even pictured in my head. I gave some vague inspiration pictures to her for floral and decor and she really made amazing things happen- I almost cried when I glimpsed my reception area while heading to pictures- it all came together beautifully and I know that was due to her expertise.
Hiring a full service wedding planner is not inexpensive but can be so helpful for planning a full scale DIY wedding (our venue provided nothing- everything had to be brought in)- you really won't regret going with Kara and her company. -

Having a destination wedding is a little tough since you're choosing so many things from far away and are unable to check them out in person. So much faith is in your wedding planners hands, but Your Aloha Wedding Co. exceeds all expectations; and when the wedding day comes, you'll be blown away by how utterly amazing everything turned out.
Our wedding planner Tara was a huge pleasure to work with. She is so nice and so accommodating to all our needs. She gave us great advice and suggestions on how to stay within our budget and what we didn't really need. Tara made the wedding planning such a breeze and it's obvious she's knowledgeable on how to pull off the perfect Maui wedding with your vision and budget.
Overall, I can't say enough great things about Your Aloha. So professional, beautiful, and kind people who will go above and beyond for you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our special day one of the best days of lives.

I wanted to provide some feedback regarding the services we received from Your Aloha Wedding Company, particularly on the day of our wedding. Leading up to the event, we were very pleased with Veronica's assistance and communication. However, we were disappointed with her performance on the actual day.
To begin with, there were too many chairs set up for the ceremony, despite our repeated discussions and confirmations that we wanted exactly 30 chairs. This oversight was not only frustrating but also impacted the seating arrangement, as Kyle’s grandmother was not seated in the front row as planned. Veronica had us create a detailed Google Doc specifying the front row seating, yet this was not followed.
Additionally, we did not receive the correct arch. We had chosen a dark walnut arch, but a light wood arch was provided instead. This was particularly disappointing as it did not match our planned décor. While guests were arriving, Veronica and her assistant were standing by the arch, seemingly doing nothing. This was concerning as there were several tasks still pending.
My mother had to intervene when she noticed that the menus were not placed in the napkins and the tables were not ready. This should have been handled by Veronica and her assistant. Furthermore, Veronica did not greet our guests upon arrival or provide directions, a task that my mother had to take over.
We had asked Veronica to bring envelopes for gratuity for our vendors, which we never received. She also did not distribute our party favors until many guests had already left and only did so after I specifically requested it. Additionally, she was supposed to make a sign indicating gluten-free cupcakes, which was crucial due to some guests' severe gluten allergies, but this was not done by her. Luckily, the Gather on Maui events planner quickly did that for us.
Many guests left behind their monstera leaf place cards, which were also party favors, and these were not collected by the end of the night. When we texted Veronica to ask about those who left their place cards, she responded that there were none left over, which was not true. We also couldn't locate Veronica when it was time to cut our cupcake, and I had to use a knife from one of the guest tables because she was nowhere to be found. At no point that we can remember did she check in with us to see if we needed anything, and her assistant did not communicate with us at all.
While I really like her as a person and found her very fun to work with over the last year and a half, I often felt that when she was "making note" of things, she wasn’t actually doing so, which was proven true on the wedding day.
Thank goodness for our wonderful photographer Michael and DJ Dan, who helped salvage the evening. Unfortunately, I do not believe Your Aloha Wedding services were worth the $4,000 fee. Based on her performance, I would have valued her services at no more than $1,500. I personally feel that aside from her coordination with Gather on Maui and setting up the tables, I essentially planned my entire wedding and did not need her services. While she is a nice person, her lack of organization and attention to detail on the day of our wedding was unacceptable.
Sadly, when I reflect on my wedding day, I am filled with memories of what went wrong and the services that were not delivered as promised. I was deeply disappointed with the services provided and, unfortunately, would not recommend your company to others.
