Calm, cool, and has the best ideas
It's tough to know where to start with a review for Alex of XO Moreau because everything she touches turns to gold, as in the most vibrantly beautiful, well-designed and expertly organized event you've ever attended. We started working with Alex in late 2019 and by early 2020 she supported us logistically and emotionally as we chose to bump our wedding one year from 2021 to 2022. We were so appreciative of our her calm and understanding as we navigated tough decisions at this time.
When we came back together to plan our April 2022 wedding, I was anxious and excited for Alex to make our colorful, fun, spring design come to life. She more than delivered. She understood the vision and vibe perfectly. Alex remained mindful of our budget by picking out design elements with the biggest pop and bang for your buck. While I loved her execution of my personal ideas, I was most impressed with her creativity, the elements that really make an XO Moreau event extra special -- unique twists on traditional details and unexpected entertainment that helped us create a memorable event.
When our wedding day finally came, Alex was exactly the calm that we all needed. She had every small detail under control and did it all with ease. She cares deeply about her wedding couples and ensures their day is even better than in their dreams. And she even makes time to attend to the smallest of details like blowing leaves away from the front door guest entrance -- she is on top of every small detail! I should also add that her excitement and joy is infectious in the best way, throughout the entire planning process -- she is as invested in your day as you are, genuinely excited to help you bring it all together, and every step of the way her positivity squashed my anxieties and gave me the confidence to focus on myself and my partner on our wedding day.
Alex also cares deeply about her vendor relationships and has the best recommendations who can come together seamlessly to make your special day perfect. If I had the budget I would choose XO Moreau 100 more times, for every birthday and big event still to come in life, because her ideas are the epitome of a fun-filled, blow-your-mind beautiful, wildly creative celebration that brings joy to everyone in attendance. Best wedding planner in Austin, hands down. -

I want to be Alex when I grow up. She is SO on top of it and has absolutely found her calling. She is the head sheriff in the wild, wild west of weddings and is honestly such a vibe.
Her eye for detail is incredible and the ideas she brought to the table were absolutely sick!!! Beyond ideas, she made it so easy to execute and connect with the right vendors to make our dream wedding come to life.

Michelle Sent on 02/09/2022If I can offer one piece of advice to any newly engaged couple it would be: Hire XO Moreau.
From our initial call with Alex to saying good night after the reception, we never once faltered in our decision to work with her. She is funny, kind, diligent and truly one of the best people to have around you in a time that can be hectic and overwhelming.
As with any wedding there were personal ups and downs during the whole process, ie. family issues, budgeting roadblocks, global pandemic, etc. but not once did I stress about how they would affect the actual wedding day. We just knew that XO Moreau would be there to game plan with us and make it work.
She nailed our aesthetic preferences and style in one shot and made it come to life in a way that we still can't believe. Our wedding was beautiful and perfect and magical and whimsical and everything we wanted it to be. All of Alex's vendor recommendations were an absolute hit and people told us over and over again how it seemed to be the perfect representation of “us.” (Which is really just a testament to how much of an effort Alex made to get to know us.)
At the end of the evening we could honestly say that if anything went wrong or was out of place, we had no idea. We can look back at the day and night and truly say it was perfect.
I will forever tell people that the best decision we made during the wedding planning process was hiring Alex and the team at XO Moreau. So if you can, do it! -

Where do I even start?! Alex definitely had me with “the chillest wedding planner you will ever meet” – but after Instagram stalking her gorgeous, unique designs and exchanging some very friendly messages, I knew I needed to hire XO Moreau Weddings to help plan our big day! Her guidance started with helping us figure out what level of service we needed! We ultimately went with the Design & Coordination package and am so thankful I had Alex not only for day-of coordination but to bring our wedding vision to life. I knew I wanted a modern, minimalist design but thanks to Alex, we added plenty of “funky and fun” elements to make our day feel very special and very us.
We had the pleasure of working with Alex for 21 months, as we had a mid-2020 date that we ultimately decided to postpone to 2021 due to COVID-19 risks. For our initial planning and design, Alex nailed what we were looking for, including all the details I didn’t even think to incorporate, in an initial design board + email that laid out exactly what I needed to do to lock in our vendors. Her recommendations for vendors were amazing, as she knows who to work with based on your design and vibe!
Looking back, postponing our wedding was nowhere near as stressful or hectic as I would have thought, only because Alex was there with us for every decision and laid out exactly what I should do and when to move our date and update all of our contracts. Not only that, she totally rolled with some of the design changes I wanted to incorporate as we approached our new date and handled all of the rental and décor comms to make it happen. If you can tend to be indecisive like me, Alex is the perfect mix of chill +understanding yet decisive to nudge you towards just getting things done. Purple is officially my favorite color 💜
Finally, if you have a first-time officiant I totally recommend securing Alex for your rehearsal as well! She calmed what little nerves Jake + I had leading up to our ceremony, and was the kick of confidence I needed to go for a bolder bridal entrance – I can’t wait to get our photos back to re-live our design and our day.

Alex and the XO Moreau team were wonderful. We used XO Moreau for day of coordination (starting 2 months out) and initial design services. Alex helped us distill our wedding vision and prepared a beautiful design board that guided us through the rest of our planning process until she took over again. Aside from generally being wonderfully kind and professional, Alex was a go-to for any questions along the way and one of our biggest sources of excitement and support. On the day of our wedding, she arrived and took charge of everything; I didn't have to lift a finger. Many of my family members later told me how impressed they were with Alex's ability to help and take care of each and every detail of the day.
Overall, XO Moreau was a fantastic addition to our wedding team and a very key part to helping our day be full of joy and next-level celebration! It was a ceremony and party for the books and we are so grateful to Alex and her team!

Alex is simply incredible. She is the kindest, most laid-back, fun wedding planner you will ever meet. But with that being said, she knows how to get things done. We hired Xo Moreau Weddings for her design & coordination package, and I would highly suggest you do the same! I had a vague vision and color scheme in my head, and Alex created a 28 page, detailed design board that brought each and every aspect of our wedding to life on paper, from the ceremony site to the sign in table. She gave us specific options for items and decor that were either easily available online, or through local Austin vendors. This made securing/finding rentals super easy, she essentially did it for us! Her attention to detail and unique ideas really brought the wedding to a different level. For example, she suggested we have a specialty drink display table outdoors during cocktail hour, with pansy flowers in each glass. This ended up being one of my favorite details of the entire evening. Alex was also a huge support during the last month before our wedding... working hard to work out issues and logistics, finalize our timeline and other details that we would have been struggling with (and majorly worrying about) without her. The guides she gives you makes nailing down day-of details simple. Her communication is stellar & was always keeping me in the loop, as well as answering all my silly questions, lol. Oh also, she helped us plan this event in under six months!
Honestly, if you're getting married in the Austin area you absolutely can't go wrong with Alex. The wedding she helped us design was absolutely magical, and encompassed everything I wanted and more. Me and my husband both agree that it was the best evening of our lives... everything was absolutely perfect. Alex Moreau is the best. THE BEST! Hands down, you can stop your search for a wedding planner or day-of coordinator because there is no one better to work with! She is an absolute dream, from the initial phone call all the way to the big day! We hired Alex as our day-of coordinator and to design our wedding vision board. Her attention to detail and knowledge of the latest wedding trends was shown through every deck, email, and any other content she sent our way. Also, not to mention she has the best relationships with other vendors in the industry. You will absolutely fall in love with her because she has this magical talent that makes you feel like she is your best friend while also maintaining the utmost professionalism. There is no need to stress about anything on your big day because she is constantly thinking 10 steps ahead and goes above and beyond to ensure that all of your dreams come true. She is basically your wedding fairy godmother! Working with Alex is SO FUN and the best decision you can make in your wedding planning journey! From start to finish, Alex went above and beyond for us. We had a very unique wedding experience - like most couples of 2020. Of course, due to COVID, our original plans changed drastically. Our dream day got rescheduled, but Alex never skipped a beat. We had a backyard ceremony, as well as our big originally planned day. She made sure we were taken care of, even in the midst of our insane world circumstances. We weighed all the options with her. She guided us and made sure we were working in the right steps, provided timelines, questionnaires, lists - all the amazing wedding things!! Every part of working with her was efficient, organized, and overall the whole reason our day went so incredibly smoothly. Being a wedding photographer, I couldn’t settle for anything less than the best when it came to planning. Alex was so much more than that. We are eternally grateful for her planning TWO weddings, scheduling and rescheduling our honeymoon, and truly making sure every single detail was in place. She created such a beautiful day once the big wedding day came, and made sure every part of the day was out of our hands so we could relax and enjoy every bit of it! Alex brought my wildest wedding dreams to life! I really thought my vision would be a little too out there, but she took it, ran with it and brought it even further. She created the most beautiful design board for us, kept us on track and coordinated with all of the vendors so we didn't have to worry about the little things. When the actual wedding day came, there was no stress. I didn't have to think about a thing. All I did was have fun and enjoy the best day ever (which I didn't think was possible). Having Alex as my wedding planner was by far the best decision I could have made!! She was worth every penny and more! I thought, because I had been planning a wedding in my head and on Pinterest for so long, that I was just going to hire a day-of coordinator. And I couldn't happier that I decided to book her for design and coordination as well. She NAILED my vision from our very first conversation, that I didn't have to change a single thing from the very first mood board she sent over! She just got me and it was so comforting and such a relief to know that she fully understood my vision from the very beginning. She answered my million questions and helped put my mind at ease while planning a wedding during Covid which was no easy task. She also has access to the most amazing vendors and even found me a videographer the week of my wedding after my original cancelled on me. Hiring Alex for my big day was the BEST decision I’ve ever made. From start to finish, Alex was on top of it and was an absolute joy to work with. Planning a wedding during COVID was tall ask, but Alex went above-and-beyond to help execute everything flawlessly. Alex’s warm, professional touch made me feel like I wasn’t “alone” in planning our event during such a difficult time.
Alex was our biggest cheerleader and allowed us to be abatable during the ever-changing landscape of COVID. In addition to her expertise and her knack for making wedding planning fun, Alex was an excellent communicator. Not only was she prompt in every response but was extremely thoughtful in how she guided us as we executed on our dream vision.

Alexandra knows the wedding business, and she was my go to person for any question I had about the process. And she is SO positive, she is exactly what a bride needs when planning - positive, funny, and professional. We are one of the many couples who had to change their wedding plans due to COVID and Alexandra was there for us during the most crazy of times. I really have no idea where to begin in this review for Alex Moreau with XO Moreau. She was born to do this. From start to finish, navigating the wedding planning during a worldwide pandemic (which no one has experience with…) she was absolutely amazing. She somehow never seemed to get rattled and that went a LONG way when I was completely unsure how to move forward with our day. Through the ups and downs, and after some intense, game time decisions, we ended up with a stunning, magical event, representative of us as a couple and truly something so above and beyond what we envisioned. She’s super chill, but whip-smart and extremely productive… it's the best combination of "full confidence + go getter/make it all happen asap", mixed with "low anxiety, let's take this step by step and make great decisions" approach. Creatively, she’s an absolute original. She won’t put someone in a box and will take your vision to the next level. She went above and beyond for our custom design items and I couldn’t believe how awesome they turned out. Day of, her management was a freaking 11 out of 10. We have a crazy group of friends, including ourselves, and she handled everything flawlessly. If you are contemplating hiring Alex, all I have to say is get her while you can, because this gal has got to be in the highest demand. She is so very talented and we feel so lucky. Alex with XO Moreau did an amazing job on our special day. We hired her as our Day of Coordinator and I'm SO glad I did! Everyone warns you that your wedding day is going to go by in a blink of an eye and that as a bride you will be stressing over the small stuff. UPDATE -- I previously wrote a review about how amazing Alex was during the entire planning process, especially with rescheduling all of my vendors to my new date (I had to postpone my original date). Our wedding has officially come and gone, and I am equally as impressed with Alex as ever. During the wedding day, she made sure everything was executed flawlessly, which included coordinating over 25 different vendors. Thanks to Alex, my dream wedding came to life. Everything went off without a hitch and Alex was professional, kind and courteous throughout it all. She was attentive to my husband and I's needs throughout the day and really made us feel like VIPs. I cannot recommend Alex enough -- you will be SO glad that you hired her for your big day!
Alex is absolutely amazing!!! I hired her as a full-time planner for my April 2020 wedding, which was postponed to January 2021. Throughout the entire process, Alex is/has been everything I could want in a wedding planner. She is organized, detail-oriented, stylish and empathetic. I'll be honest -- I have had a difficult time with wedding planning (even before having to postpone). I have a hard time making decisions and can be easily flustered. Alex has been an absolute angel with helping me through this. She takes the time to talk through my options, provide her recommendations and is completely understanding when I start to have a little freak out. She has a calming presence and knows how to help me prioritize certain aspects of what I want without sacrificing my "dream wedding." She really understood my personality and exactly what I envisioned right from the beginning, plus she brings her own awesome ideas and you can tell she really knows what she's doing. We had to postpone our wedding about 2 weeks before it was supposed to happen. Everything was done and ready to go, and I was crushed. However, I was confident that Alex would be there to help me and would handle everything, and I was right. Alex didn't miss a beat -- she quickly connected with all of my vendors (over 20!) and aligned them all for our new date. I genuinely don't think I could have handled those logistics on my own. I cannot recommend Alex highly enough. She is an expert in her field, but more than that, she really cares about her clients and does everything she can to make their dream weddings a reality. I can't wait for our new date in January -- I know it will go perfectly thanks to Alex! She has saved me so many hours of stress, acted as a sounding board, and has shown compassion toward me in the way a friend would. If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, do not think twice and just hire Alex -- you will NOT regret it! -

Hire Alex, you will NOT regret it!!!!!!
Where to begin!? Investing in Alex was the best decision we ever made. She seriously knows her stuff. I learned so much just from asking her a million questions! She is so professional and so talented and so much FUN to work with! She respected our budget and worked hard to find amazing vendors that were perfect for our personality. She was able to zero-in on what made us unique and translate that into a wedding. It was amazing to watch her work!
When COVID-19 hit, our plans fell to pieces. She took the pieces and turned them into art. We had to cancel our Marfa wedding and decided to get married in Austin later in the year. Alex was there every step of the way and helped us close out contracts and plan a second wedding.
She was so professional. Even when the pandemic was at its worst, she was quick to respond and up-to-date on the latest regulations for weddings. Throughout the process, I trusted her completely with all of the logistics and she did NOT disappoint.
Ultimately, we decided to scrap the second wedding because COVID was still very much an issue. I was so afraid to tell Alex because we had worked so hard and for so long on my dream wedding. She completely understood and suggested we have a private elopement. Within two weeks, in the middle of a pandemic, Alex brought to life the most amazing elopement for my husband and me. it was unbelievable, I am still on cloud nine.
I don’t know how she does it. She is unbelievably talented, smart, and probably could be a therapist by now! Do yourself a favor and hire this gal while you can — she is going places. -

A True Treasure, or as I liked to call her Tesorito. Thank you, Alex, for your smile. I wish I could package it up and send it to all, especially these days. We were lucky enough to get our wedding in early this year and for that we are grateful but we are more grateful that we had the opportunity to share that “epic”(Alex’s words) day with all those that we love and in that bunch we include Alex. She has a way of making you feel like you’ve known her your entire life, the ease with which she takes in information you give her and executes your ideas however crazy they seem so effortlessly is a true skill. We had a lot of moving parts in our wedding, a big location, with lots of people and some logistical roadblocks but she made it all happen. I most appreciate her having constant communication with me, there was never a time that I had to send her multiple emails following up on items. I was glad to have her as a partner in helping me navigate the unknown that is the wedding planning process. She kept me on track and held me accountable for my part and that is something I needed. She did everything with style and grace she was not there to sell me on anything or try and take over, she was there for what seemed like as a friend. In the beginning of my engagement process, I really debated whether I would need a wedding planner or not. After many moments of panic, I decided to pull the trigger, and I'm so glad I did. I'm from Dallas and am getting married in Austin, so I wanted to find someone well connected with a great knowledge of the area. I found Alex by searching on the Internet and sort of chose her on a whim-- she had great reviews and I loved the look of the weddings she had planned. They were modern and fun while still remaining classic, timeless, and beautiful. She also seemed like a fun girl that I could be friends with-- I wasn't wrong. I'm so happy with my decision! You can tell how much Alex enjoys what she does by the amount of care, consideration, and time she puts into her work. She has taken the time to really get to know my fiance and I through questionnaires, phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings, because she wants to make sure our wedding reflects us. She is very professional but also so fun and approachable. I know she has tons of weddings she's working on, but she really makes me feel like she's super excited for mine and that it's special. She's made this process so much easier on me by taking care of the "stressful stuff" - budget planning, contracts, logistics, etc. and allowing me to enjoy the fun parts of wedding planning! She's been able to set me up with awesome vendors at great prices due to her relationships and connections along with her knowledge of my preferences and priorities. In a world where there's an overwhelming sea of vendors, it's nice to be able to have a narrowed down list based on her expertise and being able to trust her to know what/who will fit into my vision. As far as design/vision coming together, Alex is truly talented. I have not exactly always made it easy on her. I'm both extremely nitpicky as well as super indecisive/need a helping guiding hand. She's been able to navigate that to where she gives me awesome ideas, help, and inspiration, all while meeting my specific wants, needs, and requests. As far as design, I kind of threw her in a million directions as far as photo and inspiration. Despite the million directions I pointed her in, she was able to curate a design board that was nothing I would've ever been able to come up with myself but exactly what I wanted. On top of that, she's super attentive and quick to respond. She goes out of her way to make sure I'm on the ball with timeline and am feeling comfortable with the planning process, even in this crazy Corona mess time, when I know she is dealing with so much. I'm so excited for my big day and feel super confident that Alex is going to help me pull off exactly what I have always dreamed of!
-UPDATE AFTER WEDDING-
I am eternally grateful to Alex for helping plan my wedding! She took my wedding visions and brought them to life in a way more beautiful than I could have imagined (and more grandiose than I would've thought I could afford)! Her help saved me many times. During all this COVID mess, I truly believe I would have canceled our big day without Alex's help. She was always available for a call to work with me through these unchartered territories. She never took longer than a day to respond to my extensive list of questions, even when she was out of town for a funeral. The week before my wedding, we learned that the venue coordinator we had been working with the whole time had quit and that our shuttle services canceled on us. She was on both of these within 5 minutes. She got everything squared away with the venue and found a new shuttle service for us seamlessly without even giving us time to worry. On the day of the wedding, she was great to work with. She is super sweet, friendly, and laid back, so she makes you feel at ease, but she is also very professional and knows how to get things done. She makes all those small inevitable things that go wrong (through no one's fault) her issues and is on them so quickly, you don't even know they're happening. Again, I couldn't have done this all without her and would recommend her to anyone who wants an awesome wedding! -

Alex was wonderful from start to finish! Having a wedding coordinator is one of the best things you can do for your day and Alex was nothing short of amazing. Girlfriend knows her ish! She is like your best friend, but also gets down to business and keeps your day on track. From the start, I knew we would be in good hands because of her organization, attention to detail, and her great working relationships with tons of vendors! Best Decision I Have Ever Made
Alex is an Incredible professional and kept this mom of the bride from losing her mind!
There are so many things about Alex that confirmed our decision to hire a wedding planner. We didn’t just hire ‘a’ planner, we hired the best. She’s not only a guru of information and advice, she is a financial watch dog...keeping that wedding budget in tact (father of the brides favorite). She is a supreme vendor finder and negotiator. She kept our timelines in order; always giving us reminders of what’s coming up, what needs to be done and when. On the wedding day it ran absolutely seamless, if there were issues, we never knew it. We had over 180 guests which what I imagine is like herding cats, Alex handled it as if it were the easiest thing on the planet. She does everything with a smile on her face and always in her heart. I’ve decided to adopt her! She is truly that wonderful and hiring her will go down as the best decision I have ever made. -

What can I say that hasn't been said about Alex. Man, she's the Queen! She took care of EVERYTHING!! She always put me at ease when I thought that something wasn't going to work but she always reassured me that it would work out flawless in the end and guess what? It always did. She was right, she made my wedding day dreams come true. She made sure that the reception looked amazing with her amazing skills. One thing I loved about her, was that she made sure to reply so fast to my emails. She was lightening fast. The day I reached out to her I had already spoken to several wedding planners, she was the last one before giving up. She had an away message that said she was out to a family wedding and wouldn't be able to respond until she came back that Monday, I was so distraught because I was so eager to hear about her services. Guys, she replied in less than 5 minutes. I was shocked. I knew right then that she was going to be my girl. My husband was so excited to meet her, so she planned for us to meet. I loved her spunky personality, she instantly felt like she became like a best friend. I even wanted her to be my bridesmaid if one of my bridesmaids didn't work out. That's how personable she is. She is SO PASSIONATE about what she does. She was my favorite part of my wedding, she even learned Spanish to speak to my wedding guests. That shows you that she LOVES what she does. I'm so sad that my wedding is over. It felt like a breakup because I knew I wouldn't get those weekly emails anymore. I know that I will be able to contact you for booking trips with JuneTen Travel Co. She also helped us book an amazing honeymoon at Riviera Maya, Mexico. She recommended an amazing resort and boy did they treat us like royalty!!She knows her stuff and she wants the best treatment for all her clients. I came across Alex's business after she commented on my Instagram picture of my engagement. I had followed her back at some point prior, but this brought XO Moreau back to my attention! She was the first wedding coordinator "interview" my mom and I had, and after we talked with her, we knew we would love her! She immediately drew us in with her bubbly attitude. Alex was in the right price range for us and also offered us a personalized package for what we wanted help with. She was flexible with us - which we really appreciated. We ended up using Alex for day-of coordination and wedding design services.
Design Services: Alex is creative and gave us many fun elements to choose from. She helped us bring to life a cohesive, elegant, beautiful wedding look that I absolutely fell in love with. I thought the design boards that she made were GREAT ... and then when I saw it all in person, the end result was even better. When we hired her, she told us that she would help us throw a FUN party... and that she did! All design elements made our wedding have such a fun vibe and every single guest had such a fun time.
Day-Off Coordination: My husband writes: "I think the biggest thing for me was that we didn’t answer a single question during the entire wedding weekend, and that was huge for me. Alex took care of all questions and logistics which allowed us to live in the moment and take in as much of our wedding as possible!" I echo my husband, and add that Alex did all of the hard work while staying super calm! Anything we needed, her only response was "Yep, I got you!" That was so reassuring.
Overall: Alex is organized beyond compare, funny, so capable, so chill, stylish, has relationships with tons of great vendors, and more. Alex was fantastic to work with for my wedding and I couldn't recommend her enough!
Throughout the entire process, her knowledge of vendors, wedding processes, resources, & recommendations where invaluable! Her recommendations were always thoughtful and within budget and she was never pushy, which allowed me to still come to my own decision.
Alex was also super responsive. She would respond to emails and texts so quickly and made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with. She kept us on track with payments and timelines. She even put up with my mom texting her regularly with questions all the way up until my wedding day!
Alex is also extremely organized. I don't know how she did it, but she kept track of all the one off emails/texts I sent her with key information and ensured it was implemented on the big day.
I'm so sad the wedding is over, but I'm so happy Alex was a part of it! Highly recommend her for all of your wedding needs :) -

When people ask my husband and I what our favorite part of wedding planning was, we both look at each other with certainty and declare in unison, “Hiring Alex.”
To say that Alex went "above and beyond" is a tremendous understatement. Alex was our: strategic planner, authentic designer, non-judgmental financial advisor, comedienne and provider of hilarious memes, empathetic confidante & therapist, fierce and focused director, emergency bustle expert, personal waitress & bartender, and all things (pre and day of) wedding spirit guide go-to gal.
Alex has mastered a system for keeping her clients up to date in real time, eliminating the stress and anxiety of figuring out “what’s next.” She has a trusted network of vendor partners and friends with different price points and styles, and while she provides her own recommendations – she encourages her clients to bring their own favorites to the table to compare services. I could not be happier with the group of vendors that we ended up working with – from pre-wedding customer service to the actual services, each recommended vendor absolutely met and exceeded our expectations.
One of the most impressive parts of our experience with Alex is how she tailored the experience of planning to fit our personalities and lifestyle. As busy professionals, we didn’t have time for phone or video calls, to meet up, or even to meet with vendors. Alex understood this and led us through the process ENTIRELY through email. Yes, you read that right. Seriously. We didn’t even do a cake tasting – believe us when we say you can trust Alex and her recommendations 110%. Our first and only phone call with Alex was a few weeks before the big day, and our first bigggg hug was on our wedding day.
In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I had some apprehension about the funky color palette we originally chose (in my heart, I knew I loved it – but my head kept telling me different – to go more neutral/muted). Alex provided an immense amount of reassurance and reminded me to trust her – that it would be amazing. I built an updated vision board leading up to the big day to try to ease my mind and shared it with her + our florist - they validated the design and couldn’t stop talking about how excited they were. My anxiety shifted into excitement, and ultimately – on our wedding day – total awe.
I remember sitting in hair and makeup, hearing shrieks of excitement in the reception hall from Alex + other vendors – obviously the design was coming together and I couldn’t wait to see it. When I finally got to see everything, I couldn’t believe my eyes – it was like everything we wanted and MORE. It was personal, uniquely “us” – and embodied the words + feelings Alex asked us to give her to describe our ideal day from the first moments we started working with her. It was perfect and we are STILL so obsessed with the design and the details.
Our family and friends had the very best things to say about our ceremony and reception – and we owe a significant portion of that praise to Alex. She took our hopes, dreams, and vision for our day and turned them into a reality. We will miss our regular “talk to you soon!” emails, and working with Alex to create the most beautiful day of our lives thus far – but we look forward to working with her in the future to help coordinate travel arrangements.

I could not recommend Alex enough. She provided us with complete ease leading up to the wedding and the wedding day itself. SHE IS THE BEST!
I initially thought I would take on day-of coordination on for my recent wedding and was quick to realize I was way in over my head.
I did some planner/coordinator browsing and various wedding websites and stumbled on XO Moreau weddings. I had an initial conversation with Alex about what kind of help I was looking for. My initial concern was decor setup since I was creating a lot of stuff for my wedding. During our conversation, she brought up so many other things I hadn't even considered that I would need to account for such as tent rentals, timelines, vendor handling, rain plans, etc.
During the process she was quick to respond, and if any early fires came up she was ready to resolve them.
I could never have had a perfect wedding without her. She will be able to answer every question you have and cover all the things you never thought of. The entire day was flawless because of her help, and several of my guests commented by saying "it just felt like the whole night was effortless". That speaks volumes to her work. -

I don’t know where to begin! I met Alex had a quick trip to the Bridal Extravaganza a few months before we got engaged. I wasn’t really sure what I was looking for there, but Alex’s display and her personality (and awesome hair) caught me. I went home and quickly emailed her! We spent the last year and some planning an amazing wedding with no flaws...all because of her. She hired me the most best vendors. Her communication and attention to detail is beyond what any other Wedding Planner I had “interviewed” could’ve provided. Alex was so professional! She truly goes above and beyond. Most of all, she kept me on track so that when my wedding week came, I had like...nothing to do! I was stress free, and that was my #1 goal.

I can't recommend Alex enough. I'm very Type-A, so I initially thought I wouldn't need a day-of wedding coordinator- I had planned it myself and thought I could handle everything without help. Our venue required us to have one, so I begrudgingly started to research. Enter Alex- the rockstar of my wedding day. She had amazing reviews and was incredibly communicative right from the start. She came in a full two months before the wedding to organize all the vendors and wrap up all the loose ends. Looking back, I literally laugh at the thought of trying to handle all that she took care of. She's a PRO. From putting out fires (many I'm sure I'm not even aware of), to having safety pins on deck when my bustle broke, to just the sheer relief of being able to answer every question that day with a nod in her direction and a simple- "Alex knows"... every moment was special and stress-free because of her. To all the future brides out there in the Austin Area please please please read this review. I was pretty overwhelmed with the wedding planning process and Alex was so patient, kind and thoughtful. We first spoke on the phone and she told me she wanted to be the wedding planner/coordinator she would have wanted on her wedding day - ok umm sold! She was all that and more. She answered all my family’s many questions and got everything on track for our departure time. She made a floor plan for us, a detailed day-of timeline, helped with vendors (coordinating and recommendations) went through a walk through at the venue with us and answered all of our questions. When the day of rolled around she made sure I was “off duty” and took over to make my wedding day stress free.
Alex is a gem, I would even love to be friends with her now that our wedding is over. -

So I didn't think I needed a wedding planner. I thought it was simply an extra cost for something I could do myself. Boy was I wrong! Less than two months into actually planning the wedding, I was stressed trying to find a florist and getting my work done. We debated hiring a planner for weeks and finally came to the conclusion we would look into one. That's when I came across xo moreau weddings. I emailed Alex and told her I wanted to work with her, so we set up a time to talk on the phone. During the span of that conversation, I knew I could trust her with the most important day of my life. SHE IS INCREDIBLE! Not only did she make me feel like my wedding was in good hands, she also took away my stress from day 1. And if I did get the occasional rush of stress, she would always reassure me everything would work out by giving me different solutions to the situation. Alex was always quick to reply to all my annoying texts and emails, and she would have a great attitude about everything. Being my indecisive self, Alex helped me weigh pros and cons of different vendors and who would ultimately be the best choice in the end. If I needed advice on decorations or anything else really, she was always quick to help. I can't say enough good things about her. She's organized, detail-oriented, responsible, good-hearted, and will plan your wedding like it's her own. She has the skills and background that we were looking for.
She was easy to communicate with and was always responsive! (That is crucial).

She was always available regarding the ceremony and possible issues that might arise as we had children from previous relationships involved.
Alex is creative and never gets frazzled.
She was on time for the rehearsal and had everyone ready to practice. Even when I wanted to change things at the rehearsal Alex was cool and calm and made it happen.
She worked with our vendors to ensure a flawless wedding day. Everyone knew what time to be there and what to expect.

I LOVE ALEX! What a blessing she was to have on our big day!
I was stuck in a bind when booking our coordinator but Alex came to the rescue with only two months out. I was so glad she was available on our wedding date. From the moment we had our first call, I knew we were in good hands. She was extremely quick to answer every email, almost too quick ;) She was knowledgeable, helpful, honest, everything and more!
The last 2 weeks would have been a nightmare without her, honestly. Not once, did I get an email from a vendor to confirm anything, because Alex handled absolutely everything so I wouldn't have to worry about a thing. The big day went by so fast, I didn't believe people when they told me that. But having Alex and her assistant Rachel there handling all of the little details helped me enjoy my day without worrying how things were going to look or if certain decor would be handled correctly or put in the right spot. When I met Alex with my vision of getting married at a state park (not a typical wedding venue) she did not back down. She went above and beyond to help me execute my vision. She was incredibly responsive to my many and sometimes overly wordy emails. She was an amazing problem solver who came to the table with solutions and great ideas. Alex was AMAZING! She was one of the best decisions we made during the planning process. We were first thinking about not hiring a coordinator, but we are SO glad we did! We recommend to anyone who is on the fence about hiring a coordinator, just DO IT! - and definitely go with XO Moreau. Alex did all of the things we would never have thought of and so much more. She kept us organized and on top of things, and handled all of the logistics (the not so fun parts). Alex was very responsive, professional, friendly, and always kept it fun. On the day of, she was taking care of things that I had no time (or desire) to think about. We were able to remain relaxed and be present in the moment for the entire event. We were never concerned about things getting done because she was so on top of it! It is clear that Alex is passionate about what she does and puts her clients first.
