We had our wedding in Riviera Maya Friday-Sunday. We made the mistake of not hiring Luisa and her team earlier in the process. We simply didn’t know what we were getting ourselves into. . Luisa and her team were amazing. Having a destination wedding in another country where you don’t speak the language is a challenge. Luisa and her team saved us so much money as they were our boots on the ground locally. They worked with our vendors and straightened things out when things got hectic. They were so responsive and timely and flexible accommodating our busy schedules- sometimes we had meetings at 8&9pm. They took care and recommended only the best vendors to us. Even the last minute additions like transportation, they worked with us to remain in budget and even after the wedding was over. Even after the wedding,
She helped us work out an issue with a vendor. I can’t recommend her and her team enough. As the bride, I had everything I needed and had a dedicated team member with me at all times. I truly felt like a princess on my big day. You can see the experience and professionalism in their work with a short timeline. That was important to us and they delivered above and beyond our expectations!!! Definitely book her company if you want the best. -

Luisa Clemente is heaven sent! I truly could not have pictured planning this wedding without her! She was able to take all my ideas and my vision for my wedding and bring them to life. We sat on calls for hours really nailing it down. I also now consider her a friend. She is super personable and easy to talk to. She is also the best problem solver. She overall helped me save money and found the BEST vendors for my wedding at Hotel Xcaret Mexico. Her team member, Angeles, helped me so much on my wedding day, she made sure I was hydrated and helped me find things I was looking for, anything I needed she was right there. She also took pix of me and helped calm my nerves, she was a true Angel on my wedding day! I cannot believe how perfect and beautiful everything came out, I could relive that day over and over!!! 10/10 cannot recommend Weddings Riviera Maya more!!! -

Luisa and her team helped us for over 1.5 years plan our wedding. Numerous consultations and spontaneous last minute meetings, they were there to assist us. We had a wedding coordinator in the resort but without Luisa, we would have been completely in the dark regarding our timelines and hiring the appropriate vendors in the months leading up to the event. Luisa helped in a last minute issue with the Catholic church documents and many last minute decorations (candles for the tables, cones/flower pedals for tossing at the church, printing menus, printing family photos). She brought a team of 4 people, even though our contract only specified 2 people and she covered their entrance fee. She truly cares about the work she does and her team are equally passionate. Angeles was with my bride all day making sure she was relaxed, hydrated, and fed. Overall, we are so happy to have experienced planning and enjoying our wedding thanks to Weddings Riviera Maya. -

I had the luck to hire Luisa and Alex for my wedding in Xcaret Oct 2022. I had a vision in my head of what I wanted and they went above and beyond to make it happen. My husband and I were so happy with all their services and expertise. She really made it incredibly easy for me to give her ropes and manage it all. All the vendors she works with are spectacular as well. -

Weddings Riviera Maya Experience!
Literally the wedding of our dreams! Luisa, Alex, and her team were the sweetest most professional group of people. Such a pleasure to work with. My husband Gene and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
All the calls, multiple text messages, and back and forth was so worth it. They listened, gave their input and executed the job. We were beyond amazed at how well our vision came to life. Not once did I doubt the team, but they definitely exceeded all our expectations.
They also did an amazing job executing our vision and staying within our budget… a WIN!!!
Our wedding day went so smoothly and started on time.
I would without a doubt recommend any bride and groom to hir the Weddings Riviera Maya!!!

Luisa and her team were amazing from start to finish. When we were first looking for a wedding planner we found out quickly that most planners actually charged for calls after your first connection. Luisa was different, we didn’t feel like she was about the money, more about the experience, and our experience with her was beyond expectation! We interviewed several wedding planners and Luisa’s professionalism and 20+ years of experience were evident. Trying to plan a wedding remotely, from another country, in another language can be a disaster without the right help. Luisa and her team were with us for every step of the way – she listened, was patient, set realistic expectations, and made our problems her problems. The reality of any destination wedding is your Wedding Planner is the front-end of the operation. An enormous amount of work and coordination goes on behind the scenes – and your Wedding Planner’s job, in addition to a million other things, is navigating that process, and relying on the strength and depth of their local network to get things done on time and within budget. It’s an understatement to say venues and local vendors can be difficult to deal with, and are notoriously non-responsive, but throughout the process Luisa was relentless in getting us what we needed, representing our best interests and putting us first. She was our Wedding Planner, Legal Counsel, Therapist, Travel Guide, and ultimately… our new friend.
Early on in the process we went to Playa Del Carmen to look for venues with Luisa, she was very attentive and listened to what we were looking for, after going to about 6 venues, Luisa found us the perfect venue which was everything we were looking for and more (www.mvngatahotel.com) . We hit it off right away as she was very personable and made us feel comfortable and confident that she could deliver the wedding of our dreams, and she did! After discussing with the Wedding Riviera Maya team what we were expecting of our decoration, Luisa and Alex created two vision boards for us so we could envision our wedding with two different styles of decoration. Because the venue was so pretty we chose the more simple decoration that would complement the wedding venue (see pictures). When we walked into the venue, we were both blown away by the set up and decoration.
Luisa and her team also compiled a team of vendors that were amazing. Without her we would have never been able to pull together such local talent. Transportation shuttles, Hair & Makeup, DJ, MC, our exceptional Photographer (www.photostudioab.com) , specialty vendors, all made our rehearsal dinner and wedding day memorable and effortless. Wedding days can be chaotic but Luisa made sure one of her team members, Angeles, stood by my side all day while I was getting ready to make sure I was hydrated, eating, and relaxed before the ceremony. Details like that make a Huge difference and it reinforced how much they really care about their clients.
Our beachfront rehearsal dinner was beautiful, our wedding ceremony was immaculate and the reception was SO much fun. It’s been about 3months since our big day and we still get compliments from our guests that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. We couldn’t have done it without Luisa, Alex and the team. We are so grateful to them. We can’t recommend Luisa and team strongly enough. Luisa and the team are amazing humans. I had issues with hotel staff and coordinators with lack of responsive-ness and she helped me get answers! Hotel staff is always a challenge to work with when they do not respond, but thank goodness for Luisa! She helped me so much with that aspect. Not only did she set outline, decor and budget, she showed up the day of and executed everything. Alex, was amazing as well--he help coordinate all the vendors and get all the vendors. One thing I love most about them is their listening skills. They listen to every detail and explain everything to you like you are the only wedding they are planning..believe me they probably juggling many other weddings. We loved working with Luisa & Alex! They were always available to go over things and spent hours with us on the phone over the months before our wedding. We just told them what we wanted and they made it happen. Aside from décor, they found the specific equipment our house music DJ needed (who we flew in from the US). I knew we could rely on them because I had talked to another girl who had a wedding at our venue who was very happy to have worked with them. I think the key is to just trust the process! It was helpful that they were familiar with our venue and the staff there, so we didn't have to worry about running everything by them/getting approval for outside vendors ourselves. Several of our guests told us our wedding was the best wedding they've been to, so I feel like it was a success! We don't have any professional photos yet, but here are a few from an iphone. I just married a month ago 2/22/22. Luisa was a perfect match for us. Not only does she know her profession she has a organized team. She is a beautiful soul. Luisa not only plans your wedding but she also connects on a whole different level. Making it so comfortable to speak,to create your vision. They tackle any hiccup. Wedding dress shopping wasn’t a great experience with COVID and all the rules. I’d send her pictures and she would speak on it with me. They are on your side they are your planners and wedding defenders. They get you want you want and make sure it’s to you liking and within your budget if you have one. I truly became friends with them especially Luisa. I recommend Weddings Rivera Maya to anyone seeking sincerity, straight forward personalities and visionaries. We spoke on the phone frequently, something you don’t get from so many others not even the resort personnel. WhatsApp was great for picture sharing and emails for contracts. Luisa is the most amazing human being! I'm so glad we found her to help with organizing our wedding, especially in the chaos of covid. She was so very patient and comforting when it came to the point when we had to reschedule our wedding from Fall of 2020 to 2021. I felt like she was a great friend through all of the planning and organizing and chatting back and forth. I never could have done all of this on my own and especially from a distance, not living in Mexico. Luisa was able to check out our venue and make sure everything was perfect. If we had any communication issues with vendors, she was always happy to step in to contact anyone. Luisa helped me to figure out what I wanted for our wedding and how to stick within a budget. She even was so patient and amazing when we had to push the wedding back. I wanted a different look for our wedding after waiting another year and Luisa was happy to help make the changes and contact the vendors for different flowers and decorations. We also worked with Alex, who was just as amazing at helping with vendors. When the week finally came to our wedding and to fly to Mexico, it was amazing to finally meet Luisa and Alex in person, and of course, they were just as sweet and wonderful in person as they were on the phone. They made our wedding day so smooth and easy and I felt at ease the entire day. When I got to see the layout of the flowers and decorations, I was in awe on how she made exactly what I imagined, a reality. Every little detail was perfect and wonderfully thought out. Weddings Riviera Maya is not only a group of talented professionals, but Luisa, Alex and team are amazing individuals that felt like part of the family from the very first moment we spoke. Amazing! Surpassed my expectations!
Luisa, Alex and her team exceeded our expectations for our wedding!!! I could write a novel about what an amazing her job her team did but i will try to keep it short lol. Being that this was my first wedding, I did not know what to expect and didn't provide Luisa or her team with a lot of information. The ideas that i did have they were able to create one of the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen (and no - that's not being biased) everyone else agreed too! Luisa and her assistant were professional, responsive, and provided all of the best vendors!!! They did it ALL!!! I was actually sad to leave to Mexico as I had formed a friendship with her as my wedding planner. Her and her team are genuinely amazing people that clearly love what they do and will bend over backwards to make your dream wedding come true! She also was very good at working with budget and finding solutions that still allowed you to get everything you wanted for your wedding!!! WOWZA! I PROMISE YOU WONT REGRET BOOKING WEDDINGSRIVIERAMAYA!!! P.S. I almost didn't book the videographer and Luisa mentioned how great he was and that was the best decision I made. Tulum wedding
We had an issue with our prior venue only 2 weeks before the wedding and I didn’t want to cancel my wedding so I got online trying to find other options. Then I ran across Weddings Riviera Maya, and started speaking with Luisa; she told me tell her what I was looking for and she could get it handled. And she did just that. She stayed in tune with us every step of the way. She added so many little things that made it perfect, the officiant was great, photographer was amazing, the food and drinks great; it was a beautiful private beach that overlooked the ocean, it was such a intimate event with 20 people total. The best decision I made for this wedding was to hire Weddings Riviera Maya! I found it very difficult to navigate working with resorts because they try to over charge you for everything. Luisa was so amazing, she helped me find the best prices and was my greatest advocate. I felt like the resort didn’t care about my wedding at all but Luisa always made me feel special and went out of her way to make sure my day was perfect. Two weeks before a planned trip to Mexico, my now-husband and I decided to elope. We reached out to a few different companies and quickly picked Weddings Riviera Maya because of their responsiveness, kindness, and excellent pricing for a complete package that exceeded our expectations. Luisa and her team arranged all of the details, from the flowers to the photographer to the paperwork. We didn’t have to worry about a single detail - they handled everything seamlessly and communicated promptly so we could just relax and enjoy each other. We got married in a gorgeous, private cenote and have incredible photos that we will look back at fondly for the rest of our lives. I cannot believe they were able to accomplish everything for such a low price. I have extremely high standards and can truly say I have zero reservations about recommending Luisa and her team to anyone looking to get married, whether eloping or planning a huge wedding. I cannot say enough great things about Luisa and her team. I found them on Instagram and was amazed by their eye for design. Their page provided all these options for stuff I didn't think were possible with a destination wedding. Going through the on-site resort coordinators, my wedding was as basic as it gets. Once I spoke to Luisa, I realized the wedding of my dreams was actually attainable and she was an advocate throughout the year with the resort which was so important when you are trying to plan your wedding from another country.
I met Luisa and the team the second day I arrived and we went over the plan, the BREATHTAKING decor that she had sourced, and all the vendors and I knew instantly I had nothing to worry about.
When the big day arrived, I was able to be in the moment and enjoy every minute of it because Luisa and her team were on top of everything! They made sure it was a memorable and perfect day.
I would recommend Weddings Riviera Maya Mexico to anyone and everyone. Thank you for making the best day of my life so unimaginably perfect. -

I found Weddings Riviera Maya through wedding wire. They had amazing reviews and it sounded like the team for me. I am extremely detail oriented and I needed someone in the area that could tell me what I should do and how! From the moment Luisa and I started talking I was so excited. She sent me beautiful pictures of previous weddings she had done. She told us about Alquima the décor company she works extremely close with as well as Pure Love for floral. I sent her pictures from Pinterest of things I wanted and she made it happen! Alquima was extremely well priced. The price differences were unreal. Even with the wedding planner cost and vendor fees with Hard Rock Riviera Maya we saved thousands of dollars! Luisa would text me through WhatsApp for almost a year planning everything out she was so easy to work with! When we got to the Hard rock Luisa met us the day after with the DJ and décor people, we walked around to all the sites and talked about everything. This was huge to me and made me feel so comfortable. 2 days before the wedding we did a brief rehearsal with everyone and Luisa brought her partner Gelena who did the wedding ceremony coordination while Luisa was in the ballroom doing that part. Gelena was such a sweetheart and did an absolute amazing job! The ceremony was beyond perfect and I was speechless just looking at the flowers and décor! We took pictures during the cocktail hour but our guest couldn’t stop raving about everything! The reception was breathtaking! From the seating chart to the tables and place settings. Luisa KILLED IT! There was not one thing I would change. After the reception we found Luisa and were thanking her for making our dreams come true! My mother and her even both started to cry! This woman was amazing, I cant say enough good things about her. To top it off part of her costs goes to a local animal shelter and she fosters dogs all the time and being a huge animal lover myself this was very special to us!

What first brought me to reach out to Luisa was her rescue mission on the website "Saving Dogs and Helping Humans". It is something we are also very passionate about and we know the dedication and hard work that goes into rescuing and it takes very special hearted people. Definitely someone you want on your side, and I am so beyond thankful I found Luisa and her team for our destination wedding in Tulum!
I had originally thought I could do most of this planning on my own from the U.S, and while I did get pretty far Luisa and her team saved me in the end and helped me finish it all and made sure every detail was thought of and planned.
From the first time I had a call with Luisa, I knew right away that she would be a huge help. It was some pretty last minute planning and she made me feel very at ease and never stressed me out (even though I probably should have been!). Luisa was VERY responsive and knowledgeable. She connected me with some amazing vendors and was great at communicating my vision. She really made the wedding planning process very simple for us!
Once we arrived in Tulum we had a great venue walk and the day before they met me at the hotel to hammer out last minute details, and again so very helpful getting it all together and making it very easy.
On the day of the wedding the dream team really made it stress-free. When we showed up to the venue everything was PERFECT, truly no better feeling as a destination bride! We literally just got to show up and enjoy ourselves and I am so grateful to them for that! They made my vision come to life, down to every little detail, and they were there for us from start to finish (all the way to midnight, LONG day) so we could leave, again with no worries. I really can't say enough good things about Luisa and her team!
I would highly recommend them for your special day, as you will be in the best hands of some truly great people!

Amazing Experience!
We live in Australia and needed a wedding planner we could trust with all the details of our special day! We worked with Alex and we couldn't recommend him more! He is absolutely professional, flexible and very quick to respond. He started helping us out with all the details even before we had signed a contract with him. We came across Weddings Riviera Maya and had sent then an email. Sabrina became our wedding planner shortly after. I will admit that I am not the easiest bride to work with. I am a bit of a perfectionist. However, Sabrina (and Luisa) did a phenomenal job working with me and ensuring that everything would be up to par. Every email was responded to quickly, every question was answered and our wedding day was wonderful. We had planned an outdoor venue, but shortly before the ceremony we were pushed to our plan b, which was still just as great as plan a would have been, in extremely short notice. She came through the recommendation of a local club owner. We loved their energy right away and decided to hire her.our Planner Sabrina were very thorough and organized throughout the planning process. They have relationships with so many vendors and it was nice to have countless options when it came to food, location, music and extras. Planning a wedding in another country can seem like a daunting task because you lack the ability to be hands on but these girls make it easy. You can expect a detailed spreadsheet with timelines and payment balances that make you comfortable knowing you are not missing anything. The day of the wedding everything was setup just the way we wanted. The girls were very prepared and super comfortable with the flow of a wedding day.
