So worth it!
Working with Caroline Gollner at Volare Planning was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, she was incredibly thoughtful and attentive in helping us select vendors that truly reflected us as a couple and fit the style of our day perfectly. Caroline made sure every detail was covered and all our vendors were secured well in advance, which gave us so much peace of mind.
She was always available when we needed her most—whether for meetings, last-minute questions, or timeline changes. As our big day approached, Caroline was amazing at managing and adjusting our schedule to keep everything running smoothly. On the wedding day itself, her assistant Katerina was a huge help in making sure we stayed on time and stress-free.

Caroline is poised and professional, and excels at communication. She did a stellar job executing our wedding vision. I had several highly specific ideas and requests, and she ensured they were all carried out. She also recommended some great vendors we had never heard of (particularly Asukar, Backstory Backdrops and Dfntly Entertainment). Even though our wedding was small/intimate, there were a lot of moving parts, and we never felt our wedding was not high priority for Caroline. Overall our wedding went smoothly and both we and our guests had a great time! Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. :)

Caroline is absolutely incredible. She helped me and my husband plan our dream wedding while we were both in medical school and living in 2 different countries and time zones. She can DO IT ALL! If you are wavering if investing in a planner is worth it, I promise Caroline is worth your investment and more. Having a wedding weekend where you can wake up and go to sleep relaxed because you know everything is being taken care of is truly priceless. She is skilled, organized, kind, generous, and a respectful advocate for her brides. She is highly skilled in what she does, her network of other vendors she collaborates with is impressive, and it really made the process of planning the wedding very enjoyable. I was really impressed with how she helped plan our wedding considering it was also on our private ranch almost 2 hours outside San Antonio! I know there was so much work behind the scenes for her but she made it look easy (when I know it was far from it). She thought of all the little details to make the wedding day just perfect- from having our dinner plates ready at our table so we could optimize time with our guests, grabbing our beverages for us, and keeping an eye on the clock so we didn't have to. I am so grateful for her and her hard work she pours straight from her heart to make wedding dreams happen. We love you Caroline! -

Fairytale Wedding at LaCantera in San Antonio
We had the pleasure of working with Caroline Gollner and her team for our son’s wedding with 350 guests at LaCantera on the weekend of April 26 and 27, 2024. Caroline was an absolute gem throughout the entire process. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and creative flair were exceptional.
From the planning stages to the big day itself, Caroline was there every step of the way, ensuring that every aspect of the wedding was perfect. Her calm demeanor and ability to handle any issue that arose were truly impressive.
The wedding weekend was flawless, thanks to Caroline and her team’s hard work and dedication. The decorations were stunning, the timeline was seamless, and the overall atmosphere was magical.

Caroline was very profession and personal. She did an excellent job finding out what style my daughter and fiancé wanted for their wedding. She contacted vendors that could replicate the flowers, cake and decorations that they provided her. She was also conscious of price point and how well they would work with her and us. She was dependable on every detail and always tried to fulfill each request. We would definately recommend her. -

Wonderful planner
Simply stated, hiring Volare was the BEST wedding decision my daughter and I made. Caroline had our best interests at heart at all times. She patiently guided us through a maze of decisions. Her recommendations were spot on and she went out of her way to advocate for us with vendors. Our trust in her was well placed. She was easy to get in touch with and addressed every concern or question promptly. For every hiccup that arose, she had a workaround or suggestion that only a seasoned professional would think of. My daughter and I had NO idea of the amount of planning and attention to detail involved in wedding planning. You really don’t know what you don’t know. With so much money involved, it’s smart to have someone advising you and making recommendations that help you stay on budget. There were so many moving parts and without Caroline… well, I shudder to think about it! The wedding was BEAUTIFUL! There were sooo many compliments. Everything ran so smoothly and it seemed effortless. We know the amount of time and planning that she put into it though. Her attention to detail is ASTONISHING! She’s thinking 12 steps ahead of everyone. Every detail, whether logistical or design, was carefully planned and executed. The wedding day was stress free and joyous for our family because of the work she did leading up to the day and the actual day of. If you’re reading this review, I assume you’re looking for a wedding planner. Here’s my advice….Hire this talented woman! I was super thankful to have Caroline on our side during the planning and the day of wedding. She made my wife’s planning journey easier and less stressful. We live in a different city than the city the wedding was taking place in, so having her input on vendors in the area and having planned weddings at the venue we decided on was very helpful. Caroline was very organized and was able to work around our schedules to plan vendor meetings we could all attend, which I enjoyed because I wasn’t involved in too many details as the groom. Overall I know my wife and I wouldn’t change a thing about the wedding day and are grateful Caroline handled it all perfectly! -

Hiring Volare Planning was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding this year. Before finding Volare, it took me months to decide on things like a venue, vendors, and invitations. I knew in the last four months I needed help to overcome my indecisiveness and get things done if this wedding was gonna happen. Caroline was the perfect match for me; she knew exactly how much I cared about the little details and at the same time she knew when to hold me accountable to stick to our deadlines. While my husband and I did our best to juggle our full-time jobs and planning not one but three days of wedding events [we had an Indian Fusion wedding], the BEST day hands down was the Sunday wedding and reception which Caroline helped me with. Caroline and her team are seasoned professionals. She had the connections we needed when I wanted extra little details like a champagne tower and different decor. She reads through every contract and does not miss a thing when it comes to your day of plans. We genuinely enjoyed our day and were able to have a blast with all our loved ones because her team took all the stress away. Finally, I just really enjoyed working with her. You want to work with someone you can be honest with when you don't like something, and at the same time have trust to help you find the right vendors. Caroline was all of that and more. Seriously, hire her. -

I can’t recommend Volare Planning enough!
To tell you how great my experience with Caroline from Volare was, I have to give you back story:
I am not originally from Texas. My fiancé and I were moving from Ohio to Texas and decided to have our wedding here for convenience. We looked for multiple venues and settled on a ranch style venue In Boerne. The venue itself was beautiful and the original POC was so amazing that we decided to buy a package from them. The package included, the venue, Photographer, Videographer, Caterer, Bartender, Wedding Planner, Florist, Decor & Cake. We bought the package 15 months before our wedding date to lock in our date. Twelve months before our wedding, we officially moved to the area and reach out to the contact. She mentioned that she no longer works there. But told us the manager of the property will be the wedding coordinator AND will start coordinating wedding activities. This is where the chaos begins. Long story short, the manager was habitual liar and made excuses on why nothing was done or why she couldn’t schedule tastings. We had finished paying the package 6 months before the wedding. And a month out none of my vendors were paid and nothing was planned. I didn’t see a floral proposal, I haven’t seen layout of the wedding venue, no information on the timeline, no information on any vendor extras etc. When I reached out to the vendors they were nice but did not help because they haven’t been payment. When I called the venue manager, she just waved it off as, “Oh usually they are OK being paid the day of”
This was when I knew I was in trouble. I am the only person in Texas and needed to involve someone locally. I found Volare Planning thru The Knot. I told her of my situation and even before I put a deposit down. Caroline reached out to the venue to get information. Then she reached out to her colleagues who had worked with the venue to understand more about the place and see if my situation was unique.
She called me back and said, “Listen, even if you don’t hire me, you need to hire someone.” Evidently this place has a bad rep for screwing over brides. I was sold and said you are hired. Caroline reached out to every vendor requested for items needed & pricing for extra items. She even set up time to go to the venue to make her own layout and to meet the venue manager and myself. She stayed on the venue manager to pay the vendors and begrudgingly the venue manager did.
Every vision, I wanted for my wedding she ironed out for me. For example, 3 weeks before the wedding we found out the bartender, did not supply cups straws or garnishes. The venue manager never told me this information (mind you she was supposed to be the coordinator). Caroline found this out and calculated the exact number of cups and straws I would need to buy for my guest count. She did the same thing for the alcohol amount as well.
She created a timeline/agenda for EVERY vendor from the make-up artist to the caterer, etc. She even had a timeline for my wedding party
The day of the wedding she did so much. Here is a list although I am sure I am missing stuff:
1. She placed the favors, set up the candy bar, set up signage/gift table, cake table
2. Greeted vendors told them where to go
3. Any questions or catastrophes reached out to maid of honor or my mom.
4. Made sure everything was going by timeline.
5. When the DJ had the wrong entrance song played, she ran told him to change before we walked down.
6. Made sure the alcohol was near the bar
7. The venue was hot, she coordinated having coolers brought in
8. Packed all the food and had it for us the next day, including the cake for groom
9. Assisted with packing all the décor and items I brought up so I could pick up tomorrow
Last thing I really appreciated about Caroline. She was a listening ear. Throughout the process, she continuedly said “don’t worry I will make sure this day goes well” and she certainly did. I truly cannot recommend her enough. My wedding day would have a disaster without her. But with her it was PERFECT! -

Caroline and Brooke were amazing! They helped us plan a fantastic wedding in only four months. They kept us on task and made great vender suggestions. Every last thing was better than expected - from the flowers to the food to the decor to the schedule for the day. Everything went off perfectly❤️ We would highly recommend this team - VOLARÉ . -

Volaré helped me plan the perfect wedding in just four months!
Volaré Planning was highly recommended by our venue, Hotel Emma in San Antonio for their ease to work with, high bar for design and detail, and responsiveness. When I got the call that the hotel had an opening just four months out, I called Caroline to see if she and her team were up for the job. A short conversation later and my parents and I knew Volare was the perfect choice. Caroline was ready to help us make quick decisions while upholding me and my fiancés’ vision for the experience. Throughout the planning process, Caroline and Brooke helped us select the best vendors and make strong choices on a limited timeline. I didn’t know our dream wedding would be possible given the timeframe, but they kept us on track and made it happen! What touched me the most was when we lost a family member one month before the wedding, Caroline and Brooke sent flowers, took on wrapping up the final details, and made sure the day honored our loved one while celebrating the future of our lives together. I knew they cared about me and my family throughout and wanted us to have a happy, beautiful beginning to our marriage. -

Outstanding Wedding Planner!
Caroline was a blessing after my previous wedding planner quit on us at the beginning of the pandemic. I love that she is so organized and kept me on track with deadlines compared to my previous planner who had multiple side gigs and planning wasn’t her main job like it is for Caroline. She is very prompt with her responses via text and email which I appreciated since I am Type A, and with my previous planner it would take days to respond. I hired her to do partial wedding planning and design. She uses a program called aisleplanner and it was very easy to use and keep everything (vendors, design ideas, payment due dates, guest list, etc) organized in one shared area. Her itinerary was very detailed and she was a machine on the day of the wedding. She trouble shooted everything that went wrong and I didn’t even know until after the wedding was over! It was a very stress free wedding day which I appreciated. She ran a tight ship and let people know what they needed to do to get things done and move on to the next event. She even found our engraved champagne glasses that the caterers accidentally took after the dinner service. The wedding was beautifully designed and the guests were very impressed with the amount of detail. We incorporated Chinese culture into the wedding and it was very elegantly executed mixed with my wedding colors. She also coordinated our surprise lion dance performance for the guests, and everyone loved it! I am so grateful that she was apart of our wedding, it was money well spent to take all of that extra stress and worrying away. I highly recommend Caroline to plan your wedding. -

I knew from the moment we got engaged, we would need a wedding planner. Luckily for us, that was an easy decision as we had previously attended a breathtaking wedding from a dear friend. We asked her how she managed such an exquisite wedding and she told us about Volare. We are so happy we went with Caroline as she was so knowledgeable and executed everything so perfectly. Our budget was small (new homeowners and traveling aficionados) and she was still able to create an absolutely gorgeous wedding. If there’s one thing to do first and foremost is to book with Volare! I’m recommending her to all of our newly engaged friends! -

My husband and I had an extremely positive experience working with Caroline. As a former event planner, I knew that I wanted to have someone there for us on our wedding day to be the point person for making things run smoothly. And boy did we need help. Our event took place on some family property, and, for the longest time, I was struggling to wrap my head around where the ceremony/reception take should take place, etc. Caroline helped us designate what areas would work best, and the flow of the night went really well because of her advice. This is just one example of many in which Caroline lead us in the right direction (the best way to address our cards to mitigate confusion, how seating arrangements help big families sit together, etc.). We always walked away from our meetings with Caroline having a clearer idea of what we needed to do. AislePlanner, the software Caroline uses, is also extremely helpful. It's an organization nerd's dream. And Caroline was a clutch resource when it came to creating our wedding invitations, too. She did a fantastic job of working with us until the invite looked exactly how we wanted it to. The day of the ceremony, Caroline was EVERYWHERE making sure everything ran smoothly. Several people commented on how great she was, especially Mom and my husband. The latter hadn't been convinced that we needed a wedding planner... but wound up saying that the day would have been an absolute disaster without her. So there's that. Invaluable!
My husband and I are both working professionals with jobs that require us to travel a lot... not leaving time for much else, especially planning a wedding. The wedding was 90 days out and it hit us like a ton a bricks that there was still a lot to do. I contacted three coordinators and when I spoke with Caroline, she instantly put my mind at ease. Even before entering into contract with Volare, Caroline took the time to discuss where I was at in the process, what was missing, and what needed to be prioritized. She anticipated my needs and took initiative on action items she knew I did not have time to do myself. When the wedding weekend arrived, I cannot thank her enough for being there during the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. I could not have done it without her… she is truly invaluable. -

Amazing all around
Where to begin....Caroline is AMAZING!! Look no further and hire her to help you plan the day of your dream. My husband and I are both active duty Army and he was deployed when we started to plan our wedding. Caroline agreed to meet via video chat for an interview and we knew right away that she would be the one to help plan our wedding. We got married in Boerne TX, but when we started to plan I was living in Maryland and my Husband was in Kuwait. She even visited the venue for us, to make sure we would be satisfied with our choice from afar.
She is calm, extremely knowledgeable, and an absolute professional. She made our dream wedding day come true. She was always prompt and detailed in her responses. The "Aisle Planner" program that she uses to share with the bride and groom is user-friendly and really helped us stay on track. She gave us advice and helped us EVERY SINGLE STEP of the way, from the wording of the invitation to the most detailed rehearsal and wedding day timeline to my last minute requests and ideas. She coordinated with every vendor the week of the wedding, I was calm and assured throughout our time planning because of her. She is an amazing planner/coordinator and we feel lucky and blessed to have found and worked with her. -

Where do I even begin... Caroline is absolutely the most excellent, professional and caring wedding planner (aka. angel on Earth) I have ever met! It is hard for me to put into words the love I have for her. She truly went above and beyond what I could have imagined and helped me to bring my (somewhat crazy) wedding ideas to life! From the very beginning, I knew I needed a special person to help me pull off the "Wurst Wedding Ever"... I interviewed 3 wedding planners, including Caroline. Right off the bat, Caroline was the ONLY person to catch that I had the wrong date on my save the date mock-ups (I wish I could say that I did this on purpose, but NO it was really just a typo!). Not only does Caroline have an eye for detail, but her sense of calm and great attitude truly helped me to let go and actually relax and ENJOY my wedding day...something that I thought would NEVER happen (as I am a very type A personality when it comes to design and I prefer things done a certain way). Another thing that really stood out to me with Caroline is that she told me, "I am your wedding planner from the day you hire me." That is something rare to find in this crazy wedding market, and she was not lying. Caroline was truly in my corner from start to finish, and I could just cry happy tears forever thinking about how much she has supported us through our year + of wedding planning. Every crazy wedding idea I had, she took with stride and did not let it phase her one bit. November 24th, 2018 was indeed the BEST "Wurst Wedding" EVER, and none of it could have been possible without Caroline. I truly believe that she is the best of the best... We interviewed a dozen or so “month of” wedding coordinators in the area and she was so much more to us than that! We hired her because she was genuine, had excellent connections in the industry, had foresight into our preferences and what we would need, and used incredibly helpful planning tools like AislePlanner.com.
Throughout the planning process, even beyond just one month before the wedding, Caroline was very responsive and always answered my endless emails and questions. She was impeccably organized despite the millions of small details I was trying to arrange with a dozen vendors last minute and kept it all straight - while even catching my typos! In general, I think of myself as an organized person and I am incredibly impressed because she was well beyond me!
She thought of extra details that I had missed and always offered specific suggestions with pictures and links. Even more, she was a great problem solver – when there was something we wanted but the vendor couldn’t provide, she thought of solution after solution and always advocated for our needs to the vendors.
On the day of our wedding, she worked so well with all of our vendors and with the many questions from my family members. She literally sprinted to me when I got makeup on my dress to clean it and made sure everything went off without a hitch. We were running behind our schedule because our photos took longer than anticipated, but she adapted the schedule so everything was natural, easy, and stress-free. She also told me not to worry about anything so she handled the decision making while my groom and I could completely enjoy our wedding day!
Caroline truly went above and beyond in all areas (from storing our wedding items to negotiating our tricky table arrangements to having her assistant assist with our champagne toast to handling all decision making on the wedding day) and I can’t recommend her enough! -
