    Absolutely Amazing

    Chavah is utterly amazing. Planning from Canada was difficult however she made everything so easy. Even when I had to reschedule my wedding due to Hurricane Lane, she was able to handle that so quickly and my vendors were on board with the new date with the same pricing. The most stressful part was telling our family about the date move. She handled everything else. My vision has come to life when I saw the set up on my wedding day. She helped me bustle when I needed help and honestly just so easy to talk to. I always hear about bridezillas but I had such an amazing coordinator that I was really relaxed. All of her recommended vendors were amazing. I loved every moment and wish I could go back. Thank you !

    Amazing Wedding Planner!

    Chavah is amazing! She is so easy to work with and has so much knowledge about everything wedding. We had just 6 months to plan our wedding and with Chavah's help, it was AMAZING! She took care of details and asked questions we would never have even thought of! She also referred the most amazing vendors to us! I was so calm and relaxed leading up to the wedding (and on the wedding day!) because i trusted Chavah and her team took care of it all. We had an amazing day and couldn't have done it without Chavah! Couldn't recommend Vida Chic more!

    My husband and I just got married two days ago in Honolulu and we’re still over the moon and blown away at how incredible our special day turned out, all thanks to Chavah and her team. We live in Australia and having never been to Hawaii myself, I needed someone I could put my trust in to piece everything together. When I first found and messaged Vida Chic events, Chavah was so quick to respond and clearly stated her services and prices (which were really reasonable). Chavah has put up with many of my bridezilla moments, my last minute changes and indecisiveness and always just made sure I was really happy with the decisions that were made. All our wedding guests loved Chavah because she’s such a great person and so much fun. We were so lucky to also have her amazing team Gentry and Karina on the wedding day to help. We thought it was very generous that we were given three people to coordinate our day. I could seriously keep going on and on, because Vida Chic made our day so perfect. Our rehearsal dinner that she organised, my bouquet and all our floral, the ceremony rentals, the reception room and tables...absolutely everything was perfect. Thank you so much Chavah, really gonna miss our little chats. We wish you and your team all the very best and hope more brides and grooms find you and get to experience what we did. R&C xx

    We feel so lucky to have been able to have Chavah as our wedding planner. She was incredibly busy but once our day rolled around and we saw her and the team in motion we completely understood why she stays so busy! She worked on every single detail down to the t. I was worried at first - sometimes we didn’t hear from her for a few weeks at a time - but she took care of so many behind the scenes details we had no idea about until the day rolled around. We heard her talking to our caterers (it sounded like another language - something about chargers, chafers and white 132’s). I realized then how much behind the scenes work has to be done for my day to be perfect and I couldn’t be more grateful for that. Word of advice: go in knowing that the VC team is working for you even when you don’t think they are. They are.
    Every time I talked to my vendors they told me they’d discussed it with our planner and we were set.
    Thanks VC for all you did to complete the mess I started and make my day perfect.

    Thank you guys so much for keeping me sane. I was starting to become a bridezilla before I found them and I couldn’t of been more thrilled with my experience. I instantly calmed down when I handed over the details to them - although I asked about a billion questions beforehand. They really worked hard to try not to bother me with basic details and immediately took the stress right off my shoulders. I had a few phone calls the weeks leading up after doing our initial call but everything that I had planned was perfect. I don’t know how they did it but I’m so glad they did.

    I tell everyone that's getting married about my amazing planner. I wouldn't have been able to push through the day without her. It's been almost 2 years since my wedding and I'm just now writing these (I'm such a procrastinor - one of the many reasons I couldn't plan my own wedding for the life of me!!!!!) but I really appreciate everything Chava did for my day. Before we stumbled upon Vida Chic Weddings and Events I'd already postponed my wedding once, moved the venue twice and was on the verge of cancelling it because I was just over it. Someone at the boutique where I was trying on dresses was talking about Chava to her bridesmaids and saying how fun and organized she was. I kinda barged into the conversation since I was seriously desperate at that point and gave her a call. I left a voicemail over the weekend and by Monday morning had received a call and email getting back with me. Our first conversation was almost like we were best friends and I booked her almost immediately. I had already had several things kinda half-way taken care of so all I needed was a partial coordinator and she was so great about helping me. I was a mess at that point and seriously wanted to cancel just to get rid of a little stress. I was going to nursing school at the time and both at once was too much for me to handle.

    Planning was easy after getting access to my file which was all online and we talked a few times a month to plan things. She went above and beyond for me to make me feel comfortable which I cannot say thank you enough. My only complaint was the day slipped my so fast! I didn't really get to eat but she packed up a to-go plate for me which I ate in the limo on the way to the hotel. There was just so much happening on my wedding day - I just can't believe it went by so fast - but it was perfect. We couldn't be happier.

    Choosing Vida Chic Events to plan our wedding was the best decision we made. From day one, they were incredibly organized, kept us on schedule and helped us make our wedding even more beautiful and incredible than we could have hoped. We planned our wedding from Seattle so it was a little stressful until we turned everything over to them. It's like they instantly fixed everything (Chavah joked about fairy dust but I think there may be some truth to that!). Seriously, that online file they gave us really made everything seamless when planning from far away. The time difference made things difficult but using the online file made the process exceptionally easy after we hired them for a partial planning package. They were incredibly flexible, responded quickly to emails and phone calls, and created the wedding of our dreams. We had a very clear timeline created for the weekend and sticking to the timeline really made our day go smoothly and stuck with the timeline. Our guests all raved about how amazing and beautiful our beach wedding was and the credit all goes to Chavah and her team. I would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone planning a wedding from near or far!

    Patience. God blessed these ladies with lots of extra patience! Thank you ladies for all you did for Dave and I. Our wedding was more than what we dreamed of.

    Chavah and her team are incredible!!! Seriously, if you're planning a destination or local wedding in Hawaii, I would highly recommend hiring Vida Chic to turn your vision into a fairytale of epic proportions! Having a little planning experience myself, I was originally hoping to save a few $$ and plan my own wedding. But, with medical school classes, upcoming Board exams, and life in general, the whole process got really overwhelming. So, we bit the bullet and decided to hire a planner. I am SO thrilled that we chose Chavah and Vida Chic. Chavah completely understood our vision, was responsive to my many questions, and super patient with my indecisiveness about everything :) I especially appreciated her willingness to "drop in" on our venue (multiple times) when they stopped answering emails and started stressing me out! Chavah went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. The decor was breathtaking and the day flowed perfectly. She had a lot of fantastic suggestions for vendors that saved us a little money too! I think I was a pretty low maintenance bride who worked best communicating via email (sent randomly whenever I found time between clinic, class, and studying) and found that she typically responded within a few days, which was fine for me. We also had a few update calls to walk through all of the emails and logistics. I think the highest praise I can give is that on my wedding day I never once worried about the logistics, flowers, decor, cake, music etc. I felt 100% confident that everything would be perfect, and it was! I wish I could attach photos so you could all see what they put together for us! Regardless, I would highly, highly recommend Vida Chic!

    After all was said and done my husband and I asked each other "How the hell do people do all that without a planner!????". I honestly couldn't imagine how stressful it must be to do it alone but I'm so glad we didn't have to. We hired Vida Chic for full service planning and didn't have to worry about a thing. My friends would ask about the planning process and I'd tell them I wasn't worried at all. Shock always followed those words! We honestly had the smoothest time and didn't worry about a thing and enjoyed our day.

    This review has been two years in the making so I’m embarrassed to write it now but I had to tell about my experience with Vida Chic Events which started off a little rocky. I missed a few of our scheduled calls right at the beginning of our planning and because of the time difference I was getting pretty antsy. I felt bad but broke down and texted them to check in and got an immediate response. I scheduled a call for the next day and from then on felt like everything was on track. My mother was really on my back about several random pieces of the wedding (why do old people insist on doing a money dance??? Just hand me money if it’s that important to you!). I told them about my issues with my mother and they immediately jumped into action. Chavah actually called my mother and gave her a few wedding tasks which surprisingly alleviated all of the questions from her from then on. She was so occupied with working with Chavah that she felt like she was a part of the festivities. I think that was the most stressful part of the whole wedding but Chavah keeping my mother engaged really helped more than she could’ve known. They really went above and beyond to keep my stress level low.

    I don't know what I would have done without using the planners at Vida Chic. I naturally assumed I could do it all on my own but once I started I realized I was in over my head. Chavah was amazing. She actually ended up saving me more money than what I spent using her services because she got vendor discounts! She was definitely the best investment and was very affordable. It's funny when I look back now and think about my attempt to do it all myself.

    My biggest regret is not calling them in the very beginning. It would have saved me some hair!

    I'm a PA girl that was trying to plan a wedding in Oahu to keep it close to home and family. I didn't think I would need a wedding planner since my family is there and I am pretty creative myself. I thought, obviously, I wouldn't need one. I also thought it would save more money for me to do it all myself. It sucks that I was wrong on both ends. Why doesn't anyone tell you this before you rip your hair out?

    I was still pretty skeptical even when I walked in to meet Chavah - but I walked out of there a free and happy woman. I thought I was just going to hire her for the day-of package but when I saw her work I knew needed her for more. She basically took all the horrible stuff that I didn't want to do (scheduling appointments, organizing contracts, payment schedules, blah, blah, blah) and just asked me what I wanted and what was within my budget. What a difference from endless emails and calls back and forth from florists, Caterers, bakers and on and on. Chavah had a list of vendors that she had worked with organized by who was the least expensive to who was the absolute best. We figured out what things were the most important to and hired the best caterer and the things that were the least important we hired the less expensive vendors. She was amazing. I have never heard of any other wedding planner doing this! She really cared about what I wanted. We even cut out the monogrammed napkins and added a monogrammed light for over the dance floor. The monogrammed light was actually cheaper and made such an amazing difference. And who cares about napkins anyways! It was just on my "wedding list" I got on the internet. Never trust the random wedding stuff from the internet. Hire a professional. It is totally worth it.

    After several florist meetings I decided to just go with Vida Chic for my flowers as well. She charged 10% my lowest quote from other florists and they were so gorgeous.

    She is a magician.

    Chavah and Nathan were so great! They took care of every detail I needed and even details I didn't know I needed! I would highly recommend Chavah as your wedding planner! She is very flexible and available at any and all times! Thanks Chavah and Nathan!

    My experience with Vida Chic was truly wonderful up until I realized I was charged for items that were not at my wedding.
    I was extremely clear about what my expectations were as far as decor and even shared photos with Chavah so she would know exactly what my vision was. She was timely and efficient but ended up overcharging me and I had to track her down to get SOME of my money back.
    I paid for a loose orchid aisle runner and the flowers were never put out. Chavah explained that it was because she didn't want them to be trampled by the guests (understandably) but even after seating, they were not there when we walked out. She admitted that the flowers were "overlooked" and I was refunded.

    The HUGE problem I am having is getting Chavah or ANYONE at this company to tell me how much they charged me for Fabric Draping that was also NON-EXISTENT. I was charged $1,989.00 for:
    "Decor Package
    Rose gold sequins table linen for specialty tables and cocktail tables
    Rose Gold runners for guest tables
    Floral halo for specialty table
    Rose gold or mint centerpieces (candles and/or eclectic vases with florals)
    Chiffon swag
    Arrangements for specialty tables
    Mint Frames for lattice photo area"

    The amount charged was bundled and they refuse to give me the cost breakdown after multiple requests. I need to know how much they charged me for the "Chiffon swag" (fabric draping) so that I can get my money back!! Coincidentally Chavah stopped responding to my emails so now it's going to the BBB. I have emails to support the wrongful charge and lack of response once the problem was presented. I would not recommend this company to anyone hoping to not get scammed.
