Utsav planning has been nothing short of incredible. Rupali, Emily, and Samm were an incredible team from start to finish in planning and executing our vision exactly as we desired. They are all very skilled and have great domain knowledge regarding wedding planning - they created in depth timeline for our wedding, kept track of vendor contracts, and helped us ensure our AV and decor logistically made sense for our plan. We met remotely with them with higher frequency as the wedding date came near and they were able to help us iron out important details to ensure the event was a success.
They are so incredibly sweet and thoughtful, from providing us with food and water when noticing we needed it to making sure our guests needs were met. We strongly recommend Utsav planners to anyone getting married within the U.S. or outside. We assure you they will make wedding planning easy and stress free. :) -

Rupali, Emily, and Samm were absolutely incredible to work with during our destination wedding process. Their thoughtfulness and detail, through both the smooth and the stressful times, kept us on track and led to truly the best week of our lives. They specifically were excellent for helping coordinate with vendors and venue contacts, and helped get the right decor. We are eternally grateful to have them as our planners and couldn’t imagine it my other way. Highly highly recommend them to anyone looking to make their dream wedding a reality! -

Would recommend working with Rupali and Sam. We had a very tight budget but they did everything they could to help us stick to it. They suggested unique ways to repurpose items and floral arrangements so that we still had a really beautiful wedding. Closer to the date they were very responsive and the day of went smoothly with no issues. -

Every single guest loved the decor and ambience. You transpired our Northern light craze to reality and made it a part of our special day. Everything had a wow factor to it. Rupali, Samm, Emily and their team were amazing to work with! They really took the lead on coordinating everything for us so our family can really enjoy all our events stress free .
They made sure we were on time/schedule for all our events and stepped out of their typical job description and went above and beyond to make our events run smoothly. Not only with planning but with decor they exceeded our expectations.
Samm was very detail oriented, attentive and so fun to work with for decor. She basically made my vision become a reality for all of our event spaces!
Emily was a pleasure to work with for our timeline/scheduling, and made it easier for a type A, super organized bride like me.
Rupali nailed it with the food recommendations and worked closely with our caterers.
Without them our wedding weekend would not have gone as seamlessly as it did. I will be recommending Utsav Planners to friends and family. They truly are amazing to work with, you won’t regret it!! -

My daughter’s wedding celebration with Utsav planners is absolutely unforgettable, leaving us and our guests with so many wonderful memories. The team provided outstanding coordination from the beginning with Emily, Samm and Rupali trimming out each little details made the day extra special.
They were always there to address any questions and concerns we had, ensuring everything ran smoothly for their big day.
While the service provided was top-notch, there were a few minor details that were missed but the team took action to make it look like it was designed that way. Emily’s attention to detail and commitment to our kids vision is greatly appreciated and they incorporated our wishes in there effortlessly. Samm is a pioneer of decoration and seeing the vision coming together for the ceremony made me say this. Rupali made sure it all fall in place and kids were happy on their big day. I would recommend them for any special occasion as the team is more than just a wedding planner-they make sure the families are happy and go out of their way to accommodate their needs which is commendable. They brought an extra touch of personalization to our daughter’s wedding day, and we will cherish the memories forever.

Although it's been quite the year to plan a wedding amidst a pandemic, we're elated that we were able to work with Rupali, Samm, and their team. From wedding decor to logistics, they executed everything so effortlessly and paid attention to every little detail and made our vision a beautiful reality. They also made planning so much easier and enjoyable for us since we were not in Michigan, and made our infrequent trips to Michigan before the wedding really productive. We received a lot of praise from our guests that Rupali, Samm, and their team were so efficient, were in the right places at the right times, and beautifully executed everything. I'd highly recommend Utsav Planners and thank them for making our wedding so perfect!! -

Rupali, Samm, Bianca, and the entire team at Utsav went above and beyond for us. We had decided to go with Utsav as our wedding planner because they also own their own decor, which is an added bonus rather than having to seek out additional vendors for this. We also went with them because they had planned several of our friends' weddings which were beautifully done and our friends only had positive things to say about Rupali and her team. They definitely did not disappoint and even exceeded the high expectations we had of them based on the rave reviews we had received. We worked closely for over a year and planned mostly over email since both my husband and I were out of state. Rupali made the entire process so easy and stress free--even for me being a very type A and easily stressed out person! She was very timely in her responses to emails and contacting vendors. She was very fair in terms of pricing and getting us the best quotes from other vendors. Whenever we had issues with other vendors Rupali and her team would step in to help mediate and ensure that we got the best possible outcome. They were very helpful in negotiating/reviewing contracts to make sure we also didn't miss anything. They were able to make our wedding/decor vision happen while still staying within our budget. The weekend of the wedding, Rupali and her team absolutely delivered 110%. They were there early, responded to all my texts/calls, made sure my husband and I ate and had plates of food and drinks ready for us, coordinated every event perfectly and smoothly, helped us stay on time/track, helped our vendors stay on time and on track, and made the weekend go by flawlessly. I would highly highly recommend them! -

It was such a pleasant and calming experience to work with Sam from the group. She was willing to work with our budget, but still met the visions that we had for each of our three events. She understood that we wanted simple, but unique. She even helped us last second to be creative for our Vidaai / Doli, and scored us a last second rickshaw from the Detroit Rickshaw Pedicab Company! She was incredible through the planning process, but was even more of a lifesaver through the actual events -- making sure all the vendors were where they needed to be, keeping us on schedule, and helping with the little things -- like making sure the bride and groom ATE!! I couldn't have asked for a more seamless and peaceful planning process than I had with her. To add to it, she did a wonderful job considering how far apart we all are: bride in Arizona, groom in Texas, bride's parents in Michigan, and groom's parent's in Louisiana. Thanks, Sam and Utsav! -

Utsav provided the decor of our wedding. At the start prior to COVID, they were really enthusiastic about our wedding. They were very helpful in providing ideas. However, two years later, when the event was approaching, their communication leading up to the event was terrible. It was like pulling teeth to get responses/answers. No returned texts, emails or phone calls. I had constantly follow-up and even drive to the office to get information. They may be overwhelmed, not sure, they never communicated the reason or apology for the unresponsiveness. If they had more help, things might be better. This experience is what will give future brides and grooms a stressful lead up to their wedding. -

Utsav was great early on the in the planning process - they were willing to go through the details of the event and were willing to be patient as our plans evolved. As the event approached however they were extremely unresponsive, couldn't keep anything straight, and went back on the initial plans/pricing we had agreed to. I even took the time to detail everything myself and provide pictures of exactly the decor and details I wanted - they continued to work in vague details when I wanted to be sure the event would look the way I had imagined and paid for! The night before the wedding I happen to see the ceremony space and it was ALL WRONG. I had to call them at midnight the night before and demand they fix it... not something a bride wants to contend with before her big day. There only saving grace was Christopher from Christopher & Co... he had beautiful flower creations that recieved compliments from all our guests. Utsav didn't even stay on hand to ensure things went as planned nor did they follow-up after the event. My advice - hire Christopher & Co. direclty and save yourself the stress of working with Utav... unreliable, unresponsive, and no attention to detail!

I used Utsav for my wedding last summer (7/1/2022) through my florist. Communication was horrible. Florist, planner and myself could not get in touch with them week before the wedding. 10 days before the wedding my florist removed herself from the transaction because she did not want to be liable if they didn’t show up. On wedding day, they delivered the Mandap, but the mandap chairs never arrived. We had to use guests Chaivari chairs on the mandap. I contacted them after the wedding to ask what happened and request a refund for the chairs, and they told me “they were delivered” which is a complete lie. If they were delivered we would have used them, my planner and coordinator said they absolutely never came. When I told them that they just ghosted me and never refunded me. Would never recommend or use again.
