This was the second time my family has worked with Chrissy and her team at Truly You Events, and once again, the experience exceeded our expectations. From beginning to end, Chrissy was an absolutely essential part of our wedding planning process. She brought an invaluable sense of calm, clarity, patience, and organization that made what could have been an otherwise stressful time feel manageable and even enjoyable.
Chrissy is a true professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. She has an incredible ability to take even the most half-baked idea and turn it into something beautiful, cohesive, and timeless. Her creativity and eye for detail gave us complete confidence in every decision we made.
We were working on a quicker planning timeline, but you never would have known it based on the quality and range of amazing vendor options Chrissy presented to us. She was also very mindful of our budget and consistently offered thoughtful recommendations that balanced value and quality.
On top of her professionalism, Chrissy’s calm and positive attitude made all the difference, especially as the big day approached. We felt fully supported every step of the way and were able to truly enjoy our wedding knowing everything was in expert hands. We were lucky enough to partner with Chrissy from the very start of our wedding planning experience! To me, wedding planning had always felt like it was going to be a very daunting, stressful and overwhelming process, and Chrissy not only made it super manageable but admittedly, fun!! Chrissy is on your team and guides you through the process every step of the way - she may quite literally be the most organized and calmest person you will ever have the pleasure of meeting! She will take your creative vision / direction and do everything in her power to make that come a reality. She will go above and beyond for you to ensure that your wedding day / weekend is exactly how you dreamt it!
On the day of, Chrissy and her amazing team (Alyssa & Kelsey) were by our side making sure we had everything we needed and that we were having the time of our life. In looking back at the day, there was not a single moment my husband and I felt stressed - we felt present and knew that everything was going to go as planned or that Chrissy would step in if necessary.

We started to plan for my daughter’s November 2024 wedding last fall and realized that we were going to need help as we were already overwhelmed with the little planning we had accomplished, never mind the wedding day. We were very lucky that Christiane Lehman (Chrissy) at Truly You Events was available and hired her to help us navigate this process. BEST DECISION EVER!
With Chrissy at the helm, we had smooth sailing the entire way (and if there were rough waters, we certainly did not know about them). Chrissy is extremely competent, knowledgeable, professional, and handled everything with grace. Her flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of was greatly appreciated. Her experience with vendors and her guidance and suggestions in vendor meetings was very valuable and helped us to achieve our vision. She always appeared calm and reassuring and we loved her “pep talks” whether in person or in emails to sooth our nerves when things really kicked into gear. She is a master of keeping things on track, and her organizational skills are stellar. Chrissy was an absolute pleasure to work with and knowing we could rely on her to do exactly what needed to be done was a huge relief. We were able to enjoy ourselves knowing that she was there taking care of things.
Working with Chrissy (and her team) was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. She is the best! If you are planning a wedding, I recommend hiring Truly You Events, you won’t be disappointed.

Look No Further - Chrissy is the BEST of the BEST
Chrissy and Truly You Events are absolutely phenomenal!! From the moment we started planning our wedding, Chrissy made every step feel seamless, exciting, and stress-free. Chrissy took the time to understand our vision and brought it to life with a level of detail and thoughtfulness that truly went above and beyond our expectations. She connected us with the perfect vendors who not only matched our style but were also a joy to work with!
Thought the planning, Chrissy took care of every little detail and brought so many fun, creative ideas to the table, making our wedding truly one-of-a-kind. Whenever we faced a challenge, Chrissy handled it effortlessly and always made us feel at ease. She is literally the best of the best!

We used the Truly You team for their Full Service package and we could not have been happier with them. Chrissy was so helpful during the planning process and relieved us of a ton of work and stress. In a short 9-month turnaround, she did all of the research, recommended quality venues and vendors, and managed the booking and logistics. She understood our vision and helped us make informed decisions. She is knowledgable and experienced and most importantly, she handled every situation with professionalism and a positive attitude. Chrissy and her team member Morgan also managed the day-of logistics and they were AMAZING. They handled everything with poise and ensured the day went smoothly and we didn't have to lift a finger! We would highly recommend Truly You to anyone looking to put on a first-rate event! -

We booked Chrissy shortly after we got engaged before we had made any other decisions for our wedding planning and it was the best decision we made! Chrissy was with us every step of the way for planning our wedding from finding a venue all the way through the brunch on Sunday after our wedding. Every step Chrissy is calm, cool, collected, organized and most importantly a positive person who is a pleasure to spend time with!
One of the things I loved most about working with Chrissy is her ability to keep things organized and moving forward without being too pushy. She was always there waiting to help and provide suggestions when we asked. But I never felt as if she was being pushy. There were certain things about my wedding that I wanted to be very involved in the details and others I didn't want to even think about. Chrissy gracefully managed both and was always in the background coordinating the details.
And details are where Chrissy shines! She is always double and triple checking every contract, email, and plan made. I knew that with her by our side nothing would slip through through the cracks. I know some people get planners for the day of or leading shortly up to the event. But I am so so happy we had Chrissy from day one. It ensured that everyone was always on the same page and working cohesively. Moreover, I can't say I am a girl with a "vision" for how my wedding looked. With Chrissy's help I was able to get ideas and plan my dream wedding!
Lastly, on the wedding day itself Chrissy was amazing. I literally was never stressed - even when I got make up on my wedding dress before I even left the hotel!! Chrissy was always there making sure everything went smoothly (whether that was removing make up from my dress, or making sure our ceremony got off on time so we didn't get rained on) so that my husband and I and our families could enjoy our day to the fullest!!
I could go on and on about how awesome she is but I think the most important thing to take away is she is a genuinely great person who takes her job very seriously and will go out of her way to make your day be the best it can be! -

How do I begin to explain how amazing Chrissy and her Truly You team were? One of my best friends got married 6 years ago and used Truly You for her wedding and I immediately knew that when the day came I was going to call Chrissy. (I was not even dating anyone!!!) She has a way of instantly connecting with you during a time that although is very joyous, can be extremely stressful. Her attention to detail, calm demeanor, and organizational skills helped keep me on track and most importantly maintain my sanity. Chrissy has a way of making you feel like you are planning your wedding with your best friend. This to me is something that is extremely rare and once you find it you want everyone to experience it. She helped create the night of our dreams and for that I am forever grateful for Chrissy and the Truly You team.

I cannot recommend working with Chrissy and Truly You Events more highly!! From our first phone meeting, I knew we would be in fantastic hands with Chrissy as our wedding coordinator.
Throughout the planning process, Chrissy was professional, thorough, caring, and wonderful. It was such an incredible relief to know that Chrissy and her team would be handling the coordination with our vendors in the weeks leading up to and during the wedding weekend.

All I can say is WOW. I could sing praises for Chrissy for days. She is a incredibly talented, experienced wedding planner. Chrissy was recommended to us from a friend in our hometown of Edina MN, whose daughter was married recently in PA. We were just coming off a wedding for my older daughter locally in MN and we hired Chrissy start to finish. This was not my first go- around with wedding planning , Chrissy knocked it out of the ballpark. She has great relationships with several top notch vendors and made sure that everything we needed from them, from flowers, lighting, linens, bands, transportation of guests, was met to our expectations. Planning a wedding from afar is not an easy task BUT Chrissy made it so easy and fun. She is charming, professional and always has the clients interest at heart. Our day was perfect and I give all that credit to Chrissy and her team. Working with her is not only a great investment to make your wedding planning and wedding day run smoothly, but it is also a chance to make your wedding day exactly what you want it to be as she will take your dreams and make them come true. Now that the special day is over, I really miss my emails with Chrissy. She is a unique wedding planner. Highly recommend her. -

Truly you was truly amazing!
We hired Truly You Events for the “month of” planning, and Chrissy was so thorough and helpful leading up to the wedding. She coordinated with all of our vendors and put together a timeline for us to collaborate on. She ran our rehearsal, and on the day of the wedding, her and her team made everything run smoothly from deliveries and getting ready, until packing all of our stuff at the end of the night. We felt so present and happy that day knowing that we didn’t need to worry about anything. I cannot recommend how valuable it is to have someone bring it all together so you can enjoy yourself! -

The Epitome of the Perfect Wedding Planner
Truly You Events is the epitome of the perfect wedding planner. Hiring Chrissy Lehman and her team was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process.
Nobody knows the wedding industry better than Chrissy. She was able to give us perfect recommendations throughout the planning process. We were thrilled with every vendor on our wedding day, and it was thanks to Chrissy’s guidance. Chrissy’s experience is immensely helpful; she is not a “yes man” and will use her wisdom to help you make the best decisions. My wife and I developed a catchphrase – TIC (or trust in Chrissy) – because we knew Chrissy could help us solve any planning problem.
On the wedding day, Chrissy and her team members Christine and Sarah took full control, which let my wife and I fully enjoy every moment of the day. Our big bridal party (22 including us) and a blizzard were no obstacle for them – they made sure everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there. From hair and makeup in the morning to our send off at midnight, Chrissy was there ensuring we had the most perfect day.
I could write a novel about how amazing our experience was with Chrissy and Truly You Events. If you’re considering hiring a wedding planner, look no further than Truly You Events. -

The Absolute Best, Like a part of our family
Truly You Events helped make our dreams come true x2! We were scheduled to get married in November of 2020, but with COVID our big dreams had to be postponed. Instead of just delaying, we decided to still get married but with only our immediate family, and had a very short time to plan it. Chrissy was there 100% of the way, helping us organize and plan a small intimate gathering during a pandemic ( that was absolutely beautiful and seamless).
After round 1, we decided it was time to give the green light to our original plan. Once again, Chrissy was there to the rescue making sure we had our "team" back on track for the original plan. The day we were planning for finally got to happen in November 2021, and Chrissy and her team made the day feel like we were on a cloud. I can not imagine it going as well as it did without Truly You Events, and I would recommend her to anybody and everybody that asked. We event insisted taking pictures with Chrissy helping us cut our wedding cake with our family because she feels like part of our family now. -

Chrissy and the Truly You Events team were absolutely AMAZING! I can't recommend them enough - they made the day completely stress free and helped everything flow smoothly. I immediately could tell TYE was going to be great before we even booked them - Chrissy was super responsive, so helpful in answering all my questions, and SO organized! I had to postpone my wedding twice due to Covid and any time I emailed Chrissy with a question or thought she got back to me right away with a thoughtful and helpful response. The wedding weekend timelines that the TYE team prepares were incredibly helpful and had every detail covered so the entire bridal party knew where they needed to be and when. Everyone in my bridal party (even the groomsmen!) was raving about how amazing the timelines were and how on top of it Chrissy and her team were. I am a pretty organized person but it would have been nearly impossible trying to coordinate all of the different vendors and timing and last minute details without TYE. You will not regret hiring Chrissy & her team - I didn't have to stress about a single thing on wedding day because I knew TYE would be on top of it which is priceless! -

Where do we even begin?! We can not thank Chrissy and the TYE team enough for making our wedding a dream come true! Looking back, when we blindly dove into wedding planning, we had no idea the work that went into the process and we are SO thankful we had Chrissy with us every step of the way! From the start, Chrissy listened to our personal vision, gave us input where appropriate and recommended the best team of vendors for us to work with. Not to mention planning a wedding during a global pandemic......that is no easy task! Chrissy was so helpful in giving us the best advice and up to date info on the ever changing restrictions and the impact on our wedding. Chrissy helped us stay organized and on track by crafting the most detailed timelines (first a month by month timeline and then, as we got closer, a wedding weekend timeline) and checking in along the way on how we were doing. These timelines became our bibles and were so helpful leading up to our wedding! Chrissy is so professional and her passion for her work truly shines through! She effortlessly made the planning process enjoyable and stress free all while covering every detail to ensure when our day came we could simply enjoy and be present with our family and friends!
Alyssa and Kim from the TYE team were also there with us on the day of the wedding to help with setting up our beautiful space, organizing our guests and making sure everything ran smoothly. They both were amazing and we received so many compliments from our bridal party and guests on their kindness and organization throughout the day.

Made our dream wedding come true!!
We decided to go with Truly You Events after speaking with Chrissy Lehman over the phone - she immediately gave us the sense that she understood the vision for our wedding and would be able to make it happen. We decided to go with the full service package and I'm so happy that we did! Throughout the entire process, she was incredibly receptive, thoughtful, and professional. To make things harder, we were planning our wedding in Philadelphia from Houston during the Covid-19 pandemic, but Chrissy made everything run perfectly smoothly from finding vendors, to signing contracts, to helping us pick out rentals, to coordinating the entire wedding day. We had to change our plans due to Covid multiple times and she was able to work with all of our vendors as plans changed to continue to make our vision happen. Our wedding day itself was perfect - even better than we could have imagined, and definitely better than we could have done on our own!! We were able to relax and enjoy the day and it ran completely smoothly. We had a great time working with the TYE team and we can't recommend them enough! -

I could not imagine having a wedding without Truly You Events team! Chrissy kept us organized, she communicated with all of our vendors and she made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. I've never worked with a more organized team! She also did it all with the most positive and upbeat attitude! Planning a wedding during Covid is extremely stressful and Chrissy and her team knew exactly what to do and how to do it. They were constantly informed of all the rules and regulations, they communicated regularly with our vendors to make sure everyone was comfortable and prepared, and they were creative in coming up with solutions! They also kept our bridal party organized and gave us all directions while ensuring we were all comfortable and taken care of constantly! The wedding was PERFECT! Every vision I had came to life thanks to the Truly You Team! Plus they were all so much fun to be with! We could never have done it without Truly You. I HIGHLY recommend this team. If you are looking for a Wedding Planner, don't go any further in your search than Chrissy Lehman at Truly You Events! If I had a nickel for every time I told her she was "worth her weight in GOLD"!
Chrissy is kind, sweet and SO knowledgeable about the wedding scenario. Her recommendations made the difference between a great wedding to a super duper phenomenal wedding experience! Chrissy is a workhorse, indefatigable and proactive instead of reactive. She really cares. Her team during the wedding day was unbelievable- they were everywhere assisting the wedding party with everything we needed - they actually were always one step ahead of anything we desired.
I actually forgot to purchase gifts for my grandchildren who were ring bearers that day - can you believe Chrissy not only sprinted to Target on the wedding day, but picked out just the right things for the boys??? She made me look like a hero!
We highly recommend Chrissy at Truly You - I am very grateful for her services and so happy I found her! I can't wait for my son to propose so that I can work with her again!

I don’t even know where to begin that will capture how crucial Chrissy was to our wedding planning, wedding day itself or how grateful we feel to have found her. Our moms actually deserve the credit for finding her at a Constellation wedding event at the Horticulture Center about a year before our wedding. When I met her I was a little surprised she was so laid back, easy to talk to and anything but pushy (I think I just thought of wedding planners as being the most annoying type A personalities on the planet, haha sorry). I described pictures of a winter wedding at the Horticulture Center that I had seen from a few years back that basically embodied what I wanted. This wedding was somehow different from what I had seen so many times. Chrissy immediately knew exactly what wedding I was talking about, because she planned it. My fiancé and our moms were equally as excited about Chrissy’s laid back, but ‘get things done approach’.
We met Chrissy in January and by mid-February my fiancé and I were completely in awe by everything she had already done for us; vendor suggestions to meet our budget and fit with our personalities, timelines, budget guidelines, answers to all of our questions, the list goes on and on. Chrissy’s organizational skills alone are something that she could teach a college course on. She gave objective advice for family and bridal party involvement, and helped plan how we wanted our wedding day to flow. In short, we told her what we thought we wanted, or rather did not want (but really we had no idea) and she created something that was literally perfect. I told her I wanted good lighting and dark and moody flowers and she brought together the most beautiful room I have ever seen.
Because of Chrissy and her team, my wedding day was easy, it flowed, and I was stress-free. She and her team are nothing short of amazing, there are truly not enough good things to say about every aspect of what she offers. Chrissy, we love you and now will have to start making decisions on our own! -
Christina Sent on 10/14/2017Choosing to work with Christiane and the rest of the TYE team was hands down the best decision we made during the wedding planning process. Like many couples, we initially weren't sure we needed help planning and coordinating our wedding, and I was concerned about the idea of losing control of the wedding planning process. I couldn't be happier with how our wedding turned out and all of the hard work that TYE did to make our wedding the best day of our lives! We essentially got to take part in all of the fun parts of wedding planning (dress/venue shopping, inspo pics, spending time with our loved ones) and none of the tedious parts (confirming vendors, keeping track of payments, scheduling, endless emails, etc.) The day of the wedding, Chrissy and the TYE team were absolutely phenomenal - so sweet, so professional, and so on top of every single detail. The day went perfectly and without a hitch - Chrissy was able to perfectly interpret the vision we had for our wedding, and ourselves and our guests had a phenomenal time. I would strongly encourage future brides and grooms to get Chrissy and her team on board early in the wedding planning process, as there are so many details to consider early on that I would never have otherwise thought of. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about TYE. Thank you for making our wedding day perfect in every way!
