I had the pleasure of working with Tone Events for my wedding. It made a huge impact on not only my wedding day but the journey leading up to it. Ivana was my head planner and Katie was also very involved and supportive. During my wedding planning process and up through/post wedding, I have been experiencing some health challenges. Tone Events’ attention to detail, creativity, organization and thoughtfulness took so much stress away from me! Ivana was super attentive to my questions and needs. She was very professional every step of the way handling some complex planning for the day and a large-sized wedding with poise and grace. Every step of the way, Tone Events was there for me and my family: specifically with detailed lists to keep on track, video calls to collaborate, and with attending key planning meetings with me. I want to emphasize how customized their approach is and how you can tell they put their heart and soul into their work. That approach truly paid off because my husband and I have been touched to receive countless compliments insisting that our wedding was the best wedding our guests have attended ;). Also, I still miss being in touch with Ivana and Katie because they made the time leading up to my wedding extra special and left a lasting impact on my heart, too. I'm excited for future couples reading this review to work with them too and can't wait for you to have your own magical day! -

From our first meeting, after speaking to several event planners, we felt very comfortable with Tone Events, and we have no regrets.
A big "THANK YOU" our coordinator, Lexie, who handled the chaos, delays, and unique dynamics of our interracial union with so much care, professionalism, thoughtfulness, and patience. She listened and made sure our individual needs were met with care. Fom Plan A, B, to C, she always had a backup ready incase of any disappointment or unforeseen circumstance.

As someone who works in the wedding industry and has witnessed hundreds of weddings, I thought I had seen it all. But even with my experience, I could never have imagined a more perfect wedding day than ours—and that is entirely thanks to Ivana, Annie, and the incredible team at Tone Events.
From start to finish, Ivana was an absolute dream to work with. Her attention to detail, organization, and ability to anticipate every need made the day completely stress-free for me and my husband. She made sure I didn’t have to worry about a single thing, which allowed me to fully immerse myself in the joy of our wedding day. Her poise and professionalism shone through in every moment, and her friendly, calm demeanor was exactly what I needed to feel at ease.
Annie, my bridal attendant, was a lifesaver. She was always one step ahead, making sure I was comfortable, hydrated, and had everything I needed throughout the day. From bustling my dress to managing last-minute touches, Annie was like a wedding-day fairy godmother, ensuring I felt cared for and special every step of the way.
The entire Tone Events team was nothing short of extraordinary. They had every detail covered, from managing the timeline to handling logistics seamlessly behind the scenes. Their level of organization and preparedness was remarkable, and I never once had to wonder if things were running on schedule or going smoothly—they simply were.
Our friends and family couldn’t stop raving about how amazing the Tone Events team was. Many of them commented on how friendly, accommodating, and professional the team was, which only added to the magic of the day. It was clear that Ivana and her team genuinely cared about making our wedding not just a success but a reflection of who we are as a couple.
If you’re looking for a wedding coordinator/planner who is poised, professional, and incredibly talented, look no further than Ivana and the Tone Events team. They are the best in the business, and I am so grateful to have had them by my side on the most important day of my life. They made our wedding not only perfect but truly unforgettable.

I cannot speak highly enough about Katie, Ivana, and the entire Tone Events team. Our wedding was far from simple, and required sourcing a lot of our own vendors and a massive amount of coordination across the board. Simply put, we could not have done it without Katie. She had every single detail covered. Her communication and attention to detail were unparalleled. She held us accountable to decisions and deadlines, and when push came to shove, I felt completely comfortable with her making decisions on our behalf whenever necessary. She thought of things I would never in a million years have thought were important. When we struggled to find a vendor or service, Katie offered up excellent recommendations and knew the right way to go about each task. On top of her organization and thoroughness, Katie's attitude, demeanor and sense of humor were simply lovely. She was a true joy to work with during an otherwise overwhelming time. The same applied to Katie's team who she brought in towards the end of the planning process and for the wedding weekend. Every member of her team was kind, professional, and excellent at their job. At various points throughout the weekend, I found myself thanking my lucky stars that we had Tone Events running the show! My family and I loved the time we spent working with Katie, and future couples will be lucky to have her make their dream wedding a reality. -

Where do I even begin?! My husband and I had our dream wedding at Belle Mer in Newport, RI in May of 2023, and I truly do not think we would have had a wedding at all if it weren't for Katie and her amazing team (shout out to Lexie!!). From the very beginning, Katie and Lexie were absolute ANGELS - So professional, kind, and organized. Being the only girl in my family, we were absolutely clueless on how to plan a wedding, so Katie stepped up and guided us every step of the way. She was a dream to work with, making herself available whenever I had questions, and also pushing me when I needed to be pushed (LOL - I'm not the best at decisions). Apart from Bridezillas, I think I was the next worst client to work with, since I was so indecisive and deferential that I put a LOT more work on Katie's shoulders, which she handled with complete grace and professionalism. Not one single stone was left unturned, every minute detail was thought out and executed, so our wedding day was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Our vendors knew exactly what to do and were coordinated PERFECTLY. To the point where so many of our guests said they had never been to such a coordinated wedding - So easy, so devoid of stress (for us, very unlikely for Katie and Lexie, but they didn't show it an ounce). I could tell a million stories about Tone Events as a whole, from the adorable gift Katie sent when we first booked her team demonstrating her unnecessary, but so appreciated, thoughtfulness she demonstrated throughout the entirety of the wedding planning process, to Lexie DRIVING to my Air-BnB to get my undergarments for my outfit change simply because I mentioned that I forgot it and told them not to worry about it. Again, just constantly demonstrating they go above and beyond in every aspect of the process. I think of all of the things Katie and her team did for me and my husband, and I know that I only know HALF of what they actually did - I am just so grateful and blessed. Apart from being the best wedding planners I could have asked for, they are just incredible people. Any time anyone asks me what I’d recommend for them in the wedding planning process, my first recommendation is a wedding planner, specifically, a Katie. We are forever indebted to Tone Events for giving us the best day of our lives. -

Everything about my wedding day and the experience leading up to it was perfect thanks to many people involved but especially Katie! My husband and I live in Dallas but chose to get married in Austin because my parents live there – given the distance/timing restrictions etc. Katie was so accommodating and helpful that l felt like it didn’t make a difference that we were technically planning an out-of-town wedding. From the beginning she was so professional, enthusiastic and thoughtful. My mom and I truly enjoyed working with her and we appreciated her timely and helpful responses to our questions and opinions. I think Katie does a really good job of trying to understand your likes/dislikes/tendencies and because of this she was usually 10 steps ahead of me on everything which was ideal when it comes to a wedding planner. Katie was wonderful at balancing between giving it to us straight (which is always nice) and nudging us in the right direction when needed. In the end I have no regrets about our wedding day and only happy memories and amazing pictures that capture everyone’s hard work & talent, including Katie. Having a worry-free planning experience and wedding day is invaluable and the fact that Katie has such amazing taste and ideas really added to the quality of our wedding. -

Perfect Wedding thanks to Katie!
Myself, my family and my in-laws cannot say enough great things about working with Katie Malfettone. The entire process was smooth, stress-free, and most importantly, the wedding was executed flawlessly. From the initial stages of planning, Katie got a grasp of my style and taste and ran with it. To plan and run a 430+ person wedding with a smile on your face and calm demeanor must be stressful, but you couldn't tell with Katie. Each and every detail was noticed by all, and we still have guests reaching out to us weeks later about how perfect of an evening it was! I owe so much of that to Katie. So many people advised me not to stress along the way, but I can honestly say I never felt stressed throughout the process knowing I was in great hands! I would (and will) recommend Katie to anyone for both corporate events and weddings! -

Simply the best!
I would give all of the stars in the world to Katie Malfettone. Because of Katie, our July, Downtown Austin wedding was absolutely perfect! Katie is the most detail oriented person, but is extremely laid back, friendly, and fun! She quickly built a genuine relationship with my mom and me and made sure we enjoyed the planning process. We are both extremely "Type A" and opinionated, but Katie earned our trust from the very beginning. She was SO much more than a "Day-Of Coordinator". We met with her several times in advance, emailed multiple times a week, and could text or call her anytime. She was always available to answer any questions, even when she was out of the office or on vacation! She also has the BEST ideas of little details that can impact your event in a VERY positive way. A few weeks before the wedding, Katie walked us through her perfect master plan/minute-by-minute to ensure everything was ready to go and that everyone (family, bridal party, vendors) was on the same page. When the big day arrived, we knew EVERYTHING was under control and would be handled by Katie and her fabulous team. Because of Katie's knowledge, skills, relationships with vendors, and attention to detail, my mom and I could relax and enjoy the wedding day. Not once did my mom have to check in at the church or reception venue. She was able to spend the entire day with me, my bridal party, and our family, which was absolutely invaluable. Our large (320+ guests) and pretty involved wedding went off without a hitch! All of the vendors she helped us select exceeded our expectations in every way. She ensured our entire timeline, florals, decor, seating, and flow were executed perfectly! And most importantly, because of Katie, our wedding was the most memorable, perfect, and FUN night of our lives - and one that our friends and family are still talking about today. We were truly impressed by Katie's professionalism, attention to detail, operational skills, unique insight and ideas, and awesome personality! Thank you, Katie, for making our special day a huge success! We could not have done it without you!!! -

The first and best decision we made during our wedding planning was to work with Katie Malfettone. Katie is organized, detail-oriented, professional, knowledgeable. I have nothing bad to say about Katie! From beginning to end, this lady was flawless! Katie went above and beyond to make sure that all of my questions and concerns were answered. Every suggestion and comment she had was right on point and made our wedding better than we could have ever imagined. She has a great eye for design and brought my very specific aesthetic to life. She thought of everything and paid attention to every detail so we were able to enjoy every single second of our day, which is so important and I appreciate more and more in hindsight. On the day of our wedding Katie and her team made sure everything stayed on track and went smoothly! Couldn't have asked for a better planner!
