Our wedding went through several iterations this year and Kate was so supportive each step of the way. Due to all of the changes we made, we ended up doing a lot in the last few months leading up to the wedding and Kate helped keep us organized and on track. Every time we spoke to one of our vendors they let us know they were in touch with Kate and how helpful she had been. That was always such a huge weight off our shoulders and speaks volumes about the kind of person Kate is. She will be there for you every step of the way with a genuine smile on her face. We would absolutely recommend Kate to anyone looking to for someone to help navigate them through the wedding planning process! -

Simply the best!
Kate is absolutely amazing! My wedding underwent some big changes due to Covid 19 and Kate was there for me every step of the way. She was so kind, generous, and helpful with every single piece of my day, and I know I wouldn’t have been able to pull it off without her. I told her my vision and she made it happen! Her recommendations were fantastic and she always seemed to know what I needed. My family raved about her for days after the wedding. I not only had the best planner on my side, but I also gained a friend. She is simply the best! -

I am SO glad we hired Kate to be our day-of-coordinator. I had no idea what I was doing when I was planning my wedding, and Kate went above and beyond to answer any questions I had and make sure that everything was on the right track. I was a lot less stressed the month leading up to our wedding because I knew she had all of our vendors on the same page and I knew everything would run smoothly. Our wedding day went perfectly and I didn't have to worry about anything thanks to Kate! -

Highly recommend!
Kate was our day of coordinator at Trickle Creek Farm and put my mind at ease that day and leading up to it. It's very easy to feel overwhelmed planning and everything that goes on day of and she was great in both aspects of leading up to and during the wedding! She kept everyone on the schedule we planned ahead of time and even gave us a sweet card afterwards which was such a nice, personal touch. Highly recommend! -

Kate was our day of coordinator, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience! She made sure every little detail went smoothly, so we could really enjoy our wedding day. She totally went above and beyond when I forgot to put my veil in before walking down the aisle, and without hesitating, she sprinted back about a 1/4 of a mile....in heels!!...to get it. Fabulous? YES. Hire her!! -

If you are debating on wedding planners, CHOOSE THIS ONE! We were married at the NC Arboretum and had Kate as our coordinator. All throughout the planning process, Kate fielded a countless number of my emails so quickly and with such efficiency. She has a lot of experience with so many vendors in the area, which helped make the planning and execution of our big day so seamless. It was also important to me to work with someone who could bring me down a notch! Through all of the curve balls, she had such a calming demeanor, and was able to problem solve quickly and confidently. She is amazing and I would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in Western NC and beyond! -

Kate was extremely helpful when we were planning our wedding at the NC Arboretum. She provided us plenty of advice and support when it came to making decisions about location (there are multiple spots to get married there) decorations, and ensuring our guest were comfortable. She thought of everything including using a golf cart for our older guests and making sure there were weather contingencies. On the actual day, everything went off without a hitch. We are very thankful for Kate's help and recommend her to anyone looking. -

Kate is great
We first met Kate in December 2016 when we were planning our wedding. Kate took us all over the NC Arboretum for a couple hours to show us the best spots and the pros and cons of each. Kate wasn't even supposed to be there, she was just finishing with someone else and she was supposed to be off from work but she stayed and helped us out. Kate was very helpful to us in choosing the caterer, musicians, rent for chairs and equipment and in the rental of transportation to the reception. Kate was always very quick to respond to any questions or emails. She had a lot of work to do for our June 2017 wedding date. Kate knows so many people in the area that she is an asset to have help with the wedding planning and day of! We would recommend Kate to anyone. -

Great Event Planner for our Wedding!
Kate assisted us in planning our wedding at the North Carolina Arboretum in 2017, and she was fantastic to work with. Months before the wedding we provided pre-wedding paperwork which helped with planning and stayed in touch through out the planning process. It made things very stress free. Kate was always easy to get in touch with and offered some great advice when needed. The rehearsal and wedding day went smoothly, and Kate stepped in to take care of some last minute minor emergencies (i.e. the power went out for a bit!). -

We would 100% pick Kate if we had to do it again
Kate served as our "Day of Coordinator" for our August wedding at The NC Arboretum, but she was so much more than a "day of" coordinator. From the beginning, Kate answered our logistical questions and how everything would work the day of the wedding. She was incredibly attentive and quick to respond. Not only did she answer questions we had, but she let us know when she was going to be out of the office ahead of time in case we had questions we hadn't asked yet. As the date approached, Kate worked with our vendors making sure they knew when to be at the venue and that the day would run smoothly. Having Kate work so closely with the vendors was such a blessing and took a lot of pressure off us. The day before the wedding, at our rehearsal, Kate was very patient as some of our party was running late. She was so wonderful explaining how the processional would work best and helping my 'Maid of Honor turned Officiant' understand her role. The day of the wedding we had rain in the forecast. We really wanted an outdoor wedding. Kate was in touch first thing in the morning letting me know the plan and timing of that final decision. We ended up having to move the reception inside, but Kate did a great job making sure it looked beautiful inside and still matched our vision. Once we arrived at the venue, Kate came to me as I was getting ready to let me know guests were arriving and we had to make a decision about the ceremony. She offered umbrellas, and we decided to go for it. Amazingly, as I came down the aisle, the sun came out! I think that must have been another trick Kate had up her sleeve! The rest of the evening went off without a hitch as Kate directed all of guests to the cocktail hour and reception, and some how managed to keep track of us, too. She had the timing to a 'T' but, we never felt rushed. At the end of the night, she already had our belongings in the getaway car and helped my parents clean up. We would 100% pick Kate if we had to do it again. -
