Candice, of The Styled Stem is a gem! If you are getting married and don't have a wedding planner yet, run, don't walk, to Candice! I am pretty type A and a planner, so I knew enough to know that I probably didn't have enough experience with planning a wedding and would need some help. We happened upon her at a wedding expo and clicked right away. So, we engaged with Candice for "Day of" planning services. And let me tell you, it really wasn't just day of - she project managed us, gave us ideas and suggestions, and good old experience and guidance for 9-10 months before the wedding. It was worth EVERY. PENNY. Seriously! I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of my wedding and to be honest, the planning process was pretty low stress too! I got to be present, and enjoy everything about my wedding. And everything went off without a hitch (as far as I know, lol!) I was thrilled with how everything turned out and couldn't be more ecstatic with Candice and Ariana and the team at The Styled Stem. The day was even better than I imagined and you can't put a price on that -

Bringing our wedding dreams to life
Hiring The Styled Stem/DeCourtcey Events is the greatest gift you can give yourself when planning your wedding. My husband and I had zero idea how to do what we wanted, were completely unprepared- and brought nothing but questions to the table. But none of that mattered! We had the pleasure of working with Candice and Cher, and together they held our hands through every step of our elopement to Rome. They fully supported our untraditional choice and helped us secure our church, photographer, makeup artist, florist, musician and planned every detail of our honeymoon itenary. They also joined us on site in Rome, and walked us step by step through the day. Thanks to these fairy god mothers my husband and I had no stress, and could be completely present in our big moment. I cannot fully express the level of gratitude we have to them for making our wedding dream come true. They are the best at what they do - period. -

Candice was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. The Styled Stem offered more services starting earlier and had a much better vibe all around than any other wedding coordinator we met with. She was amazing, helped keep us on track without it feeling overwhelming, and gave us access to an entire portal with planning tools and documents to help us throughout the process. We felt very prepared on our wedding day and had no issues that came up during the day. We really loved working with both Candice and Ariana and would highly recommend them! -

It was a pleasure working alongside Candice and her team! She has incredible knowledge of the vendor scene within Philadelphia, and we went with many of her recommendations – we ended up assembling an amazing team that had so much fun working together, were super professional, and made the vibes positive the whole wedding weekend. Candice was calm, collected, and organized during a big wedding with multiple events and personalities - and it was such a relief to have her there as the point person, tackling everything with ease. Our families keep coming back to us with more and more compliments to her and her team, and also revealing things she helped with that we never knew about! Which, again, deeply appreciate. My husband and I put a lot of thought and effort into planning, and Candice made us feel heard, understood, and supported through the year we worked together. Where do I begin? Candice and her team exemplifies excellence. My wedding day would not be what it was without her. She is the epitome of grace and patience. She helped me throughout the wedding process, making sure I was on time with task, while checking in with my mental health. My sour stress ridden face during our meetings did not phase her once lol She was very understanding of the stress I had. She kept me on top of things and stepped in where others did not. To me, Candice went above and beyond to make my wedding day special. She also coordinated the day and let’s just say her presence was necessary and welcomed. She helped behind the scenes and kept a level of professionalism I will always remember and commend. She is great at what she does and her assistant was also wonderful with checking in and helping out the day of the wedding. The power duo stopped at nothing to make my wedding spectacular. I reminded Candice that without her, the day would not be what it turned out to be. Candice is a mastermind, innovative, and an expert in her craft. I cannot say how much I recommend her expertise. If you want to make your day or the process of wedding planning flawless and less stressful, count on Candice for guidance and to get the job done. Hiring Candice and the Styled Stem to be my wedding management team was the best decision I ever made in the wedding planning process. During our monthly meetings leading up to the big day, Candice was super organized, efficient, respectful, and extremely accessible/responsive. She made helpful suggestions for things I had not even considered and has so many useful resources that I can't imagine planning without. She communicated with all of my vendors and made everything run so smoothly. It is obvious that Candice and her team know the wedding industry inside and out, and are truly passionate about their work and the couples they work with. On the day of my wedding, Candice was exactly who I needed in the stressful, nerve-wracking moments. Candice and her team made our big day and the days prior absolutely seamless. Wedding planning is one of the most stressful and multi faceted things I've had to experience in my life. My wife and I were lost beyond belief, once we brought Candice on board everything changed. Candice and her team took the time to make sure all vendors and activities were booked appropriately. Candice provided us with checklist and timelines to make sure everything on our end were in order. I truly believe our wedding day would not of gone off without a hitch if it were not for Candice and her team. We were able to enjoy the night with our friends and family while trusting The Styled and Stem to handle everything else.

We cannot recommend The Styled Stem enough! Candice, the genius behind The Styled Stem, took on the monumental task of full-service wedding planning, design and day-of coordination for our wedding, and she surpassed all expectations.
Despite our late start in the planning process (6 months out), Candice connected us with the perfect vendors, demonstrating an exceptional understanding of our needs and preferences. As a very picky, A-type personality, I can be challenging to accommodate, especially for such a significant event. Yet, Candice handled everything with extraordinary grace, always making necessary corrections and liaising seamlessly between us and our vendors.
Candice's compassionate nature and unwavering professionalism shone through, even when the florists failed us on the day of the wedding. The bouquets were disappointing, but Candice and her team sprang into action, creating stunning new bouquets for me and all nine of my bridesmaids in record time while still keeping the day running smoothly. The results were absolutely gorgeous, and she even added extra touches that made everything perfect.
The Styled Stem’s services were nothing short of amazing, and we are immensely grateful for their dedication. From the beautiful unexpected floristry to the impeccable day-of coordination, Candice ensured that every detail was flawless. Working with Candice @ The Styled Stem was a dream come true!!! The last three months leading up to the wedding were a true whirlwind (two graduations, moving to Philadelphia, getting oriented with our new jobs) – without Candice, I don’t know how our perfect wedding would’ve all come together! Candice was a perfect find and helped me plan the most gorgeous day! I live in Texas but was getting married in the Philly area since that is where I grew up. I knew I needed a planner who would be my boots on the ground but didn’t want a big agency where I might get lost and The Styled Stem was exactly who I needed. After a ton of searching, Candice helped me find my venue even before we signed the contract because she knew we needed to move quickly on my short timeline. We zoomed through each subsequent vendor choice because of her knowledge and expertise. Several times along the way I became overwhelmed with so many details, and she virtually held my hand to make it to the finish line. Did I mention she had a baby during this time?! With personal challenges abound, she made time to answer all of my questions and was my true partner to create a magical day! -

Hiring the Styled Stem was the #1 best decision of all the wedding decisions we made! We hired them for full service wedding planning and design, and the attention we received was top-tier.
In the months before the wedding, the Styled Stem team provided the perfect balance of logistical and emotional support to allow me to go into my wedding day without any concerns. From day 1, the team listened to my vision and worked with me to make it happen, from finding the best-in-class vendors to floral design to logistical support.
My wedding was set in the backyard of my uncle's rural property in western New Jersey. There were many unique challenges associated with this venue choice: parking on a bumpy lawn, scarcity of indoor restrooms, a long driveway which made for tricky rental delivery. Candice and her team found us the valet who would make it happen, the more deluxe mobile restrooms any of our guests had seen, and on the day of my wedding, she solved delivery mishaps before I even heard about then.
And the visual design! Everything came out exactly as I wanted it to, and beyond. I was surprised on the day of my wedding with gorgeous wildflower floral arrangements in small glass vases. The day was a perfect blend of flowery laid-back visuals while still feeling elegant and allowing the natural environment to sing. My wedding bouquet, a Styled Stem design, was absolutely perfect, and Candice's completely independent design and creation.
One more thing: this team attended the most sentimental day of our lives and fit right in among our family and friends. They worked incredibly hard, but with such grace and good humor, they felt like family. I hope to keep in touch with them for years to come, as I feel grateful to have met such wonderful people as they are through this process. -

I worked with Candice for my Oct 2021 wedding. The words "hire" and "worked with" don't do her justice because Candice absolutely crushed it in every single capacity. There were many hurdles thrown her way - a less than ideal turnaround time, bad weather, I do not live in PA (we got married in PA) - and candice handled it all flawlessly.
from the first time I spoke with Candice, I knew right away she has a perfect match. I felt comfortable with her and totally trusted her to give it to me straight, tell me things i definitely needed and also not push for anything unnecessary. She took my disorganized, confused incomplete vision and made it cohesive and then executed flawlessly. I would literally vote for her for president of the united states.
everything was gorgeous and the event was seamless. several weeks later my notoriously difficult grandmother (god love her) is still calling me to tell me how amazing Candice and her team were. I dont know how but Candice found a bunch of mini-Candices and enlisted them all to be her team, everyone was absolutely awesome.
Candice, without you, this wedding wouldn’t have even been a worse version — it straight up would have been a dumpster fire at best. you are truly phenomenal at what you do and i can’t thank you enough for everything. you are a true CURATOR OF VIBES.
