We truly could not have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding weekend than The Palms Hotel & Spa. The property is absolutely stunning - elegant, warm, tropical, and incredibly welcoming - and our guests are still talking about how special the entire experience felt.
The biggest thank you goes to Nataly, who was nothing short of amazing throughout this entire process. Her attention to detail, thoughtfulness, professionalism, and calm presence made such a difference from start to finish. Wedding planning felt completely seamless thanks to Nataly and the team at The Palms Hotel & Spa. From the very beginning, Nataly was incredibly attentive, responsive, and organized - even with multiple weddings happening every weekend at the property.
They provided every detail we needed upfront, and their preferred vendor list and thoughtfully designed wedding packages made the entire process feel so digestible and stress-free. Everything was clear, streamlined, and easy to navigate, which made a huge difference throughout planning.
Beyond the process, the property itself is absolutely spectacular. The setting created the perfect backdrop for our wedding weekend, and we truly could not have asked for a better experience with our friends and family. Our guests are still raving about how special and beautiful everything was.

The Palms was the perfect LGBT friendly venue for us. The in-house coordinator Nataly was on top of the planning process from start to finish, helping us with our vendors and on the day of the wedding. The whole setup for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was close together but felt very expansive. It looked beautiful. The food was really incredible, especially by wedding standards. We had our wedding at The Palms Hotel & Spa, and it was truly perfect from start to finish. From the moment we began planning to the very last song of the night, the entire experience exceeded every expectation.

We had stayed at The Palms several times before booking the location for our wedding and it was the perfect venue for our event. Nataly and the event staff were so responsive to all of my questions and helped me design exactly what I envisioned for our wedding day. The variety of location options for the ceremony, cocktails, and reception made for a great experience for our guests and provided a perfect backdrop. The food was delicious and their ability to accommodate my many allergies seamlessly helped make the day easy for me. The day of the wedding went very smoothly with the professional guidance of Nataly and our guests had a great time. Many of our guests also commented on how much they enjoyed the newly renovated hotel! Where do I even begin?! The Palms Hotel & Spa has always been one of my favorite places to stay in Miami Beach, so choosing it as our wedding venue was a total no-brainer. It’s the epitome of laid-back luxury with the most stunning tropical backdrop — absolutely picture-perfect.
From day one, the staff went above and beyond. Vanessa was an absolute superstar! She kept every detail organized, communicated flawlessly, and made planning feel simple, smooth, and completely stress-free. The service across the board is ALWAYS 10/10 — whether you’re a hotel guest or there for a wedding, every single team member provides warm, genuine, heartfelt hospitality. Honestly, I’d put this team up against anyone in the industry!
And the food… WOW. People are still raving about it! Each course was beautifully presented and full of flavor — every bite felt like a “moment.” It truly elevated the entire night.
The Palms is beautiful, welcoming, and unpretentious, with thoughtful touches everywhere you look. Having stayed here about 10 times over the years, it already felt like paradise — but hosting our wedding here took it to the next level. Our wedding at The Palms (Feb. 15, 2025, with a welcome party on Valentine's Day) was absolutely magical! Highly, highly recommend it as a wedding venue! (And it was so gorgeous our wedding was the main feature in the New York Times Vows a couple of weeks later!) I would hire Vanessa a thousand times over, she combines professional capability and excellence with sincere enthusiasm, joy and heart. She met all of my big ideas with a "let's make it happen!" attitude and answered every question, big or small, promptly and clearly. I had absolute confidence the day would go smoothly because of my confidence in Vanessa. The venue itself is gorgeous yet unprentious, a serene escape with a feeling of home. Many of the staff members at The Palms have worked there for years if not decades, so you feel like you're being taken care of by a real family. We had our welcome party at the Grand Tiki the night before, our ceremony at the gazebo, cocktail hour on the Veranda (while we took photos on the beach), dinner on the East Lawn and dancing in the Grand Tiki. It was the absolute perfect setting for us (101 guests) and I would not change a thing! We did have a few minor hiccups with family reservations and paying for rooms for family members, but got those straightened out fairly quickly. (I'd just be sure to confirm before arrival that all the rooms you're paying for as a couple are confirmed, and bring a print out of those rooms and who is paying for what, etc.) The elevators are a bit slow, but that's the reality at many Art Deco-era hotels. Overall it was a 10/10 experience for us — a dream come true. Better than I could have asked for...
The Palms elevated our wedding to a level I didn't even imagine was possible. The all inclusive wedding packages 1. made booking everything SO easy (I was done in 2 months) 2. made a VERY elegant event budget friendly.
We still have friends and family talking about how good the food and cake was. Typically at weddings the chicken/steak is always dried out or you get small portions, not at the Palms. The food was delicious and was fresh and the portions were enough for all the guys to be full. The catering team and bartenders were on top of all the details - no one was waiting for a drink ever.
You could not ask for a prettier setting to have a wedding. The grounds landscaping is beautiful and made the pictures really pop with all the flowers. We had our reception in the tiki hut (highly recommend) and the party was so much fun.
Huge thank you to Barbara for answering EVERY (and I had a lot) of questions timely and with details and options. She made the entire process so stress free.
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! We plan on going back to the Palms every year for our anniversary :) Also shout out to the best photographer, Jake Ford, for capturing these pictures! -

As someone from the D.C. area and planning a wedding in Miami Barbara at the Palms really went above and beyond. She answered my emails so quickly which had endless questions. We only had 2 visits prior to our wedding and she was so thorough and helpful. In the day of the wedding everything went so smoothly, or if it didn’t I didn’t know. There was only one issue which was that the fans didn’t work in the reception/dance area & it did get a little hot but other than that she was perfect. In addition to her suggestions at the palms she gave us a wonderful suggestion for our welcome party nearby which was absolutely perfect as well. So grateful for all that she did to make our day perfect! -

Dream Wedding!
We had the wedding of our dreams at The Palms Hotel & Spa, and we can't say thank you enough!! We worked with Vanessa and she was beyond professional and lovely to work with. Everything that we wanted for our wedding we got. It was absolutely magical and it wouldn't have been possible if we had chosen a different venue. For what you receive, this is an exceptionally high value wedding venue. We wanted a smaller wedding and they were totally flexible with us and they accomodated everything we wanted. To assist with planning, they provided us with recommended vendors, but also let us choose our own. It was helpful to have their suggestions though, because that made everything more streamlined and easier to manage. And the hotel is beyond stunning! We wanted a tropical vibe for our wedding and they provided us with exactly that. Our wedding photos came out beautiful and it was because the hotel is just gorgeous. This company is incredibly professional and working with Vanessa was completely seamless. Our wedding was beyond what we could have hoped for, and it was such a pleasure working with them. We were so incredibly elated with everything and can't say thank you enough!! -

We got married here on May 3, 2024 and our wedding at The Palms was a DREAM! The venue itself is STUNNING and doesn't require you to spend much time or money on decorating. The beautiful tropical plants and flowers that are already at the venue truly speak for themselves! As a result of this, we didn't need to spend much money on flowers or decor for the reception.
Our ceremony was on the beach, which, again, was stunning! Our cocktail hour was at the gazebo area, which has a beautiful, flower covered gazebo that is perfect for photos. Our seated dinner and dancing was at the Grand Tiki Hut, which once again, had a beautiful, tropical ambiance. Our guests absolutely loved the venue and we could not have been happier with how it turned out. It truly was a dream.
The on-site wedding coordinator, Vanessa Ortiz, was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was there for us every step of the way and on our actual wedding day, helped us with unexpected things (like helping my fiance unbutton the 30+ buttons on my dress so I could do an outfit change for the dancing, haha). She is warm, kind and amazing at her job. Vanessa took great care with all of the decor we brought and set up everything to our exact instructions. We also worked with her colleague, Barbara, for our wedding tasting. She was equally as kind and wonderful! Speaking of the tasting, The Palms has a restaurant on-site called Essensia, which was the caterer for all of the food (aside from the cake). Let me tell you, my husband and I are foodies and we both agreed that the food was absolutely delicious!
I cannot rave about this venue enough! Overall, it was a perfect experience and we were able to have our dream wedding! Do yourself a favor and have your wedding here! :)The Palms Hotel & Spa's reply:

If you are planning a wedding, you must consider the Palms as your venue. The hotel is beautiful, the location is amazing and the best part is the staff. If you are a bride, especially planning on your own, The Palms staff will make your dreams come true with ease and you will not have to worry about anything the day of. They are the best team in town to help you create the event of your dreams. Organized, timely and very professional are among the incredible qualities that makes this team amazing. A special shot-out to Barbara, Vanessa and Ana for all their help and support during the planning process. The spa team was incredible the day of. I was very happy with my hair and make up. Thank you to all the team members that helped us move in and out all the decorations. The staff throughout is just great. Also, the food at this hotel is amazing. If you stay there, make sure to check out the restaurant, bar and maybe event in room dining. I had the best breakfast in my room the day of my wedding and the service was outstanding once again. I had a destination wedding at The Palms as well as several other events. Vanessa and Barbara helped so much for almost 2 years and are the most responsive, kind and knowledgeable venue staff you will ever meet! I felt so supported by them. When there ended up being crazy hurricane-like weather on our wedding week, they seamlessly moved the locations of my events around and my guests never even knew they were supposed to be outdoors because everything looked so amazing and well planned! They have beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. The event staff is so organized and experts at what they do. My wife and I recently got married and chose the The Palms Hotel in Miami Beach as our venue and we couldn't have been happier with how it turned out. We had a Welcome Dinner outside under the tiki huts that was perfect and we had our reception in one of the hotel ballrooms. Vanessa handled all of our vendors effortlessly. The food was excellent, the service was first class, and the experience was perfect. We also took advantage of the ocean view suite for our rehearsal and reception nights which is highly recommended!
The Palms made our whole wedding experience unforgettable. We'll be back some day to stay again! -

We fell in love with this venue through the photos alone and visiting it in person confirmed this for us.

The photos come out incredible.
We wanted tropical theme but also ability to have beach photos, without having a beach wedding so it was perfect.
The venue contacts Barbara and Vanessa are very attentive and communicate excellently.
The venue is perfect to spend time with guests before and after the wedding, the pool and pool bar were used lots during our stay.
The food and drinks are to an excellent standard also.
Venue is a 10 min uber ride from Ocean Drive, which is close enough to where all the nightlife is

We love The Palms! We got married October 2022 at The Palms and we’re still reliving this magical day. It was the 2nd venue we looked at on a list of 15, and after we visited we immediately stopped looking. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and fit the upscale yet relaxed tropical vibe we wanted.
Vanessa, our venue coordinator, was absolutely amazing from the start and all the way through to the very end of our wedding night. She is incredibly responsive and thorough. She somehow managed to keep track of every little detail I’d sent her over the year and executed it to the T on wedding day! She is hands down, one of the most amazing professionals we’ve ever had the pleasure to work with.
The Palms was very accommodating to our requests. My husband and I are currently living out of state, and this was the perfect venue in the sense where many things are included in their package (catering, cake, linens, chairs, etc), but there was enough flexibility to make things personalized to our wishes. We never felt constrained, and our wedding was better than we could have ever imagined!

Perfect wedding!!!
We had the most amazing wedding this weekend at the Palms Hotel & Spa. Barbara was the best coordinator, was very prompt with answering all of my questions from the start and very organized. The plants and foliage at the Palms make for the most romantic tropical backdrop. The package comes with linens, chairs, tables and even a cake so it makes planning a breeze. It was raining the day of the wedding, and as one can expect we were very stressed and sad that we couldn’t have the outside beach wedding we had pictured. Choosing The Palms as our wedding venue was the best decision we could've ever made for our wedding plans! The hotel is cozy + elegant and the outdoor area is breathtaking. We had our ceremony in the gazebo and reception in the outdoor terrace which has so much lush greenery, we didn't need many flowers or decorations to fill the space. Everyone who works at the Palm is such a pleasure - every single person we engaged with was like family to us. The single person who made this entire process perfect was the venue/catering coordinator, Barbara! She was so sweet and helpful, she was super responsive throughout the months of prepping and her attention to detail is impeccable. It wouldn't have been the same without her because she went above and beyond -- I definitely suggest having her coordinate your wedding the day of. Having someone who understands the space and can easily direct vendors is super important. She even contacted them the week of the ensure they were on the same page. Lastly, many times wedding food is subpar since it's a lot of food being made for a lot of people. We had a smaller guest list but so many guests complimented how surprised they were with how much flavor the Cuban food had! The wedding package included so many wedding components which cut back some of the decision making. It was all great value and were so overjoyed to receive a 5-star experience. Thank you! -

Wonderful Wedding Weekend
From the start of our son’s wedding “weekend”, the Palms and its staff provided first class service. While we didn’t have the wedding at the Palms, we had two parties of about 140 people each that were handled by Vanessa Ortiz and her staff flawlessly. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious and the drinks were truly “South Beach”. From the start of planning Vanessa was a dream to work with. She always found a way to get something done and never said no to any request. The room staff, Andrea and Scott were wonderful in handling the room block and always made sure we had the best pricing for the rooms. It’s hard to put into words how truly amazing our wedding was at The Palms Hotel & Spa. Not only was it everything we’d hoped for, but the staff is incredible. Anyone would be lucky to get to work with Vanessa! She is the BEST there is in this business and we miss working with her already like we would a close friend. She made everything extremely easy and made sure all details were just perfect. She even brought us her own wedding wine box (it was part of our ceremony) as a backup because our original shipment got delayed. Because of Vanessa, we had zero wedding stress on the day and we could truly enjoy every second.
The Palms is so beautiful and the pictures taken from Evan Rich were absolutely stunning. From rehearsal, to getting ready, to the ceremony and reception, it was a literal dream for us. AND the food was amazing. Bravo to the chef - we still have wedding guests talking about the steak!!

Perfect Destination Tropical Beach Wedding
I chose this hotel as my wedding venue. We had a beautiful tropical beach ceremony and reception. A lot of my guests were traveling from out of state or from different countries to my wedding. I wanted a hotel that could host ceremony and reception as well as all of my traveling guests. It offers an ideal destination wedding location, as the property is oceanfront with direct beach access. It is also centrally located in the Miami Beach area so all of my guests were walking distance from nice restaurants and bunch of fun. The hotel is also family friendly so my little nephews had a great time at the pool. The Palms has a lot of experience hosting weddings and events so they have a lost of preferred vendors that is supreme and exquisite. I also wanted to pick a hotel that was environmentally friendly. For example a lot of their bathrooms have installed a minimum waste system where they repurpose the used sink water to fill the toilet tanks to flush. Shampoo and conditioner bottles are big and meant for multiple uses. Paper straws are a given. Since our initial wedding date happened to fall during COVID lockdown, we had to postpone our wedding celebration several times. The hotel staff was beyond helpful during those uncertain times. They were extremely flexible with their cancellation booking policies. They took care of all the rebooking, made it really easy for us, as hosts of the event, and for all of our guests. I must say that their event coordinator, Vanessa Ortiz, is extremely helpful, attentive, and quick to problem solve, especially during COVID! Amazingly beautiful venue, attentive staff
We researched a few wedding venues online before reaching out to The Palms. While this was easily our preferred venue after seeing the photos of this place on the internet, and considering the fact that we wanted a "turn key" venue where most everything was included (we wouldn't have the time to seek out and sample/get quotes from a ton of different vendors offering all the services we needed), we expected pricing for The Palms to be way above our budget. We contacted them about 7 months before our preferred date range, and even that far out, they had no Saturday dates available, only 1 Sunday and a handful of openings on Fridays. We selected Sunday since we had several out of town guests on our list, and they'd only need to take Monday off from work/school, whereas if we'd selected a Friday, they'd most likely need to miss both a Thursday and a Friday to travel to Miami and attend.
Vanessa Ortiz was our wedding coordinator. She me with us to answer our questions before we signed the contract and paid our deposit, and was great to deal with in the months leading up to our big day. Since we went with a Sunday wedding, the F&B minimums were also considerably less than if we'd gone with a Friday or Saturday so it was within our budget. We were invited to come to The Palms and sample the food and drinks that would be served at our wedding, she was great every step of the way and communications were always good. After we secured The Palms and decided which spaces here we wanted for our wedding (the gazebo), cocktail hour (the trellis) and reception/dinner (veranda terrace), we really only needed to then secure our officiant, DJ, florist and photographer. The cost of the wedding cake as well as tables, chairs and linens were included in the price of the package we selected here, though we did need to visit with the vendors providing those to make our selections. The other big bonus for us was that The Palms guaranteed us the use of alternative indoor venues in case of rain, as all the spaces we'd planned to use on our wedding day were outdoors. Other wedding venues we considered were unable or unwilling to make that same guarantee.
The staff here at The Palms were great..We had a lot of wedding decor and other items to drop off a few days ahead of time. As we pulled our van up to the front entrance, several staff were there to unload for us and securely store our stuff. On our wedding day we were given a complimentary hotel room for the night, but also a secured conference room not far from the wedding and reception areas to store our items, get ready before the wedding, etc. On the day of the wedding, Vanessa and the staff here unboxed everything we sent, followed our instructions and had everything set up and in place a few hours before the ceremony so we simply needed to check things over and put our final touches where required. Simple!
Overall we were very happy with our experience here and would recommend The Palms to others. Even weeks later, our guests are still raving about the venue, how "perfect" everything was, and giving high praise to the food and drink served by The Palms! -

When my fiancé and I first saw the Palms hotel, it ticked all of our boxes, beautiful, tropical grounds with both indoor and outdoor wedding venues. We worked with three of the coordinators at the Palms: Yasmin, Vanessa, and Holly, and all of them were so responsive and helpful with setting up our wedding plans. We had an awesome tasting with Vanessa and the head chef to choose our menu. The real shining moment, however, was something un-plannable: Our actual wedding day ended up at the start of the coronavirus outbreak, which led to a lot of stress on our end, but Vanessa and Holly were both so helpful and flexible in helping us rearrange our plans! The weekend was stressful due to external forces, but the team at the Palms made everything easy for us. Our guests raved about the venue and the wedding itself was stunning and so much fun. Absolutely Amazing!
The best thing that I did during my whole wedding planning process was choosing The Palms as my venue! Holly was simply amazing! from the very start, she answered our innumerable emails quickly, came up with great ideas, and spoke with us on the phone to go over everything leading up to the big day.
On the day itself, Holly attended to every little detail to ensure our dream wedding was a reality. The entire staff of the Palms was absolutely wonderful to us and our guests, everyone raved about the service, the foods, and the overall experience.
The food was even better than what we tried during the tasting and the portions were incredibly generous. Also, The Palms went out of its way to celebrate us- all hotel staff we interacted with said congratulations, they left us chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in our room, and accommodated early check-ins and late check-outs for our guests. It was also amazing that we could choose whatever vendors we wanted but their recommended vendors were all outstanding. We did a destination wedding, and we were very nervous since we were picking this place solely on pictures online since we didn't have time to go there ourselves before our big day. And we couldn't have been happier with the turn out!
Holly was absolutely amazing!!!! We emailed her every few days over the course of 8 months & she responded quickly and helped us plan the entire thing! She gave us recommendations, tips & advice. Sent us pictures of everything from layout maps to hotel views to linens & napkins. She was on it! Her fellow co-workers were very nice & helpful as well. When we arrived, she introduced us to everyone we'd be working with & even gave me her phone number to text her with anything throughout the weekend. There were a few things I forgot to think about, and she took care of it so I didn't have to worry at all. She made our stay there a time to remember forever.
The only thing I was disappointed on was the Salon the day of my wedding. I made appointments in advance for hair & make-up on the wedding day, with their verbal guarantee that it would all be done before our first look. I even called them to verify a week before, but when the day came, they didn't start doing our hair until 30 minutes after our appointment time. And our First Look started an hour late because of this, which at the time, had me in tears, because we had a time limit for everything. It all ended up working out though, and the people at the Salon were very nice. The make-up artist even stayed after my hair was done to touch up my make-up for me because I got a little tearful.
Overall, we still would give the Palms Hotel & Spa, and the experience we had, 5/5 Stars. The food was amazing, the views were unforgettable, and the atmosphere was really fun. It was an amazing time & we will cherish it forever. Holly literally made this a dream come true, and for that we will be forever grateful.The Palms Hotel & Spa's reply:

I could not have asked for more.
My (now) husband and I got married at The Palms Hotel and Spa this past September and it was the most amazing experience ever. I will try to make this review detailed, as I know that was important to me when I was looking for venues.
First, the hotel. It was beautiful. We were having a destination wedding, so we required many rooms. All of our guests had nothing but compliments about their accommodations, the common areas, and the beach.
Second, the staff. Working with Holly was incredibly easy and pleasant. Before, during and after the wedding her communication was always clear and timely. She obviously has had a ton of experience because she knew exactly what to do. We even had truffles to give to our guest that arrived the day before the wedding. They had to be stored at a specific temperature and she was very accommodating. Her assistant Vanessa was also exceptional. Vanessa ran our rehearsal and everything went smoothly and quickly.
Next, the wedding and reception venues were incredible. We elected to have our ceremony on the gazebo and our reception in the larger of the two ballrooms. Both were beautiful and provided more than enough space for our 100 guests to sit comfortably. The gazebo area was perfectly shaded for the 6pm wedding.
Lastly, the food. The food was very, very good. My husband and I weren't eating much at the wedding and one of the staff members (I cannot remember his name) reminded us to not just drink but to eat, boy was I glad he did. It was very good food. Again, I heard nothing but compliments from our guests.
If anyone is on the fence between this location and another I highly recommend The Palms. I'm sure no day can be perfect, but this wedding was as close to perfect as I could've imagined.The Palms Hotel & Spa's reply:

We could not be happier to have chosen The Palms for our wedding venue. The location is absolutely stunning and the food was delicious! The baranda, gazebo, the greenery and beach access created the perfect tropical atmosphere we were looking for in our outdoor weeding.
We were able to work closely with Holly, as she helped us greatly with organizing the weeding and coordinating it. We are extremely grateful for her patience, professionalism and kindness and were just as impressed with the entire staff that worked the night of our event. I got married at The Palms on 10/27/18. It was actually the first venue that my now-husband and I looked at when we started planning our wedding, and we immediately loved the space-- especially the veranda terrace. After touring a few other venues, we decided that The Palms was perfect.
The thought of planning such a large party was overwhelming, but Yasmin (and Vanessa) made the process as painless as possible. Yasmin was extremely attentive whenever I emailed or called her or had any questions. I did not have a wedding planner so having an attentive day-of coordinator was crucial, and Yasmin made the day completely seamless for me.
Our ceremony was outside at the gazebo, and everything was flawless. The food was excellent and we are still getting rave reviews from guests about the food.
I knew our wedding would be nice, but The Palms completely exceeded my expectations. I cannot recommend it enough. -
Angela Sent on 05/31/2018Vanessa is the Best! She handled everything for me it was virtually stress free!! My destination wedding was amazing due to the fact of having such an amazing staff. Louie in the restaurant was amazing. Food was great, venue was absolutely breathtaking. Erwin with all his help with all our rooms was so wonderful to work with! Start to finish this was an amazing experience. Thank you all so much for making my wedding day so special and absolutely perfect!!

Elisabet Sent on 04/04/2018We had our wedding at the Palms Hotel and Spa, my now husband and I are both from Miami and when I tell you it was the most PERFECT night of our lives, I truly mean it. Yasmin was incredible throughout the entire experience along with the recommended vendors. The evening was flawless and all our guest including us left the evening in awe. Amazing, amazing, amazing. You will NOT regret having a wedding or any sort of get together at this location.

Kalunga Sent on 10/25/2017Loved my experience with them. Vanessa was my day of coordinator and she was with me since day one making sure my vision came true. She was very responsive and their team was great. People are still complimenting me on how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food was.
Even after the wedding they continued to show professionalism and service as we stayed in their hotel following our special day. A+ will highly recommend them to any and all future brides!
