    August NYC Wedding

    Working with The Get Together Events was the best decision we made for our wedding! Justine went above and beyond to achieve our wedding vision.

    She and her team handled all the vendors, never-ending to-do list, and endless questions with positivity, efficiency and humor. Justine put my mind at ease for the most complicated party I've ever thrown.

    Thanks to her and her team, the entire day went off without a hitch. Justine managed all the logistics, millions of behind-the-scenes details and made sure we had the best day. She even knew my husband would take a ten minute nap — and sent him a pick-me-up gin and tonic! Who's doing that?! She's a heckin' magician.

    If you're getting married, hire her. If you're married, divorce your partner, find someone new, and hire her. She's that good.

    TGT Co- Amazing!

    I can't say enough great things about TGT Co! They came in at the one month mark and pulled all the pieces together. They caught all the things we missed, provided great insight, and were SO fun to work with. Lauren was so organized; she provided weekly homework to keep me on track and she addressed every one of my hundreds of emails with patience. Haleigh was our day of coordinator and she was phenomenal! She was on top of every little details, always there when we needed her, and she took on every bit of stress so that we could just enjoy our day! If you are considering TGT Co- hire them immediately!! :)

    Choose TGT To Be Carefree!!!

    Our wedding wouldn't have gone nearly as smoothly without TGT! Justine was absolutely fantastic at keeping us organized, coordinating with vendors, and most of all keeping us calm during the month leading up to the wedding. There were many instances when Justine went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was the best day of our lives. Justine was an excellent communicator and was always available day and night to discuss any wedding question or concern no matter how big or small.

    Emily and her team set up all of the details and made sure our day went smoothly. All of our guests commented on how everything flowed so seamlessly during the day, thanks to TGT! Truly one of the best decisions we made for our big day... Go with TGT, you won't regret it!

    Just hire TGT!

    The Get Together Events Co was the best money we spent on our wedding day! We got married at the Wythe Hotel and Justine was our logistics lead. She was funny, responsive and helpful in the weeks leading up to our event and took care of all kinds of vendor communication matters. On the day of, she was a reassuring presence who made sure we could get hitched without a hitch. My husband and I truly felt like guests at our own wedding and were really able to relax the week of the event rather than rushing around answering vendor questions. Don't think twice - just hire TGT.

    Couldn't have asked for a better team!

    My (now) husband and I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to work with. Jenna was our month-of coordinator and she is truly such an angel. Even before our first meeting, she provided us with an amazing template we could fill out so we could hit the ground running in our kick off call. In that very first meeting, she asked us questions we wouldn't have even thought of, and from that point forward she was our rock during the lead-up to our wedding. From managing a few less-than-reasonable vendors to handling the MANY, often 1-line emails we would send her throughout the day with questions or thoughts we wanted to make sure we remembered. I don't know how many times a day we would just tell each other how thankful we were that we had Jenna helping us.

    We also had the amazing fortune to have Devon as our on-site manager for the day of our wedding. From the moment she arrived, Devon exuded calm confidence and joy, immediately putting us at ease. She orchestrated every aspect of the day behind the scenes, coordinating vendors, managing the timeline, and seamlessly handling any hiccups that arose—so that we never even had to know about them! It was obvious she truly cared about making our day special, and she checked in with us at just the right moments to make sure we felt supported and stress-free.

    Mary, her assistant coordinator for the day, was just as incredible. She seemed to be everywhere at once—quietly making sure décor was perfect and guests were comfortable and happy. Both Devon and Mary anticipated our needs before we even realized them ourselves. At one point, Mary even brought us a snack and made sure we had a moment to ourselves amidst all the excitement, which meant so much. Their attention to detail and genuine care helped us truly enjoy every moment without a single worry.

    We genuinely felt like we were in the best hands with Jenna, Devon and Mary. They not only managed the logistics flawlessly, but also went above and beyond to make us feel celebrated and cared for. Our wedding day was better than we ever could have hoped, thanks in large part to their hard work, kindness, and expertise.

    To say I’d jump in front of a bus for any of them for all of their help and support would be an understatement. I have nothing but praise for the entire team. Anyone looking for month-of coordination, these are your people!

    The Perfect Wedding Team!!

    The Get Together Events Co. was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. We spent a little over a year planning for our big day in May 2025, and were so excited to start meeting and planning with TGT a month out in April. From our very first call with Justine and Jenna, we knew that we were in good hands. They have such fun and helpful personalities that we immediately felt at ease planning those last few bits of our wedding with them. Throughout the planning process, they proved to be incredibly dependable, organized, and meticulous, ensuring every detail was accounted for, including details that we hadn't considered! Justine was our coordinator contact leading up to the wedding, and she was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions, getting us organized, and putting together a fantastic timeline that pieced everything that we'd been dreaming of together! She was also available whenever we had concerns or just needed to chat things out! From start to finish, Justine made us feel prepared and ready to tackle the day. On the day-of, Jenna was our coordinator on-site. She was equally amazinggg in helping us feel prepared, taken care of, and free to relax and enjoy our wedding day while so much was going on around us. She also did an incredible job setting everything up before we got to the wedding venue - we were especially excited to see how everything would come together, through the small details and touches that we had dreamed up and were still just concepts in our mind - and she absolutely crushed it bringing our wedding to life! Jenna felt like a real trusted friend that we could go up to at any time during the wedding, and we are so so happy that she was there. Overall, TGT's knowledge and expertise was so invaluable, and the final result was an incredible wedding day that exceeded all of our expectations! Everything came together so beautifully and seamlessly. We cannot recommend The Get Together Events Co. highly enough.

    Best decision ever!!

    We are SO happy that we hired The Get Together Events Co. for our April 2025 wedding at Rule of Thirds in Brooklyn! Our venue required a day-of coordinator, but we opted for month-of planning in addition to have a little bit of extra help leading up to the wedding day. TGT was recommended by our venue, and we are so glad we hired them! Justine is truly a superwoman and the best person you could have by your side to make everything fun and stress-free. In addition to all of the spreadsheets and carefully crafted timelines, we know she did even more behind the scenes than we were aware of in terms of weaving together all the disparate parts of our wedding and running a tight ship to make sure everything flowed smoothly on the day of. It was honestly comical how not-stressed we were leading up to the big day. Justine is also the most amazing hype woman who made us feel extremely special and excited for our own wedding. You should totally hire TGT!

    Simply the Best!

    The Get Together Events Co. (TGT) was the easiest and best (after saying 'yes'!) decision of our wedding planning process. We worked closely with Lauren (founder) until she did the "official hand-off" with our onsite manager, Kate, a couple of days before our wedding once all final details were in place. Kate had been included in all communications leading up to this and she didn't miss a beat. The hand-off was seamless! The spreadsheets, checklists, vendor emails and phone calls—everything generated by TGT—was so incredibly helpful in keeping us on track and not overwhelmed. They really helped us to be able to enjoy the last few weeks before our wedding by managing all of the vendor questions and final set-up details. Lauren's upbeat, friendly personality was wonderful as well! she could always put a smile on my face and made us laugh.

    On wedding day, Kate was our manager and Kristen her coordinator. There could not have been 2 more wonderful, sweet, attentive, helpful, thorough and just plain awesome people to be there overseeing everything like the magical angels that they are. They were both so helpful to my husband and me separately in the morning while getting ready, all through the day and night with making sure everything made it back to our hotel room...including packaging up food for a late night snack! They managed running our rehearsal with military precision and kept us on track time-wise throughout the wedding. We have no idea if there were mishaps "behind the curtain" as everything appeared to run seamlessly. I could list 1,001 other things they took care of for us.

    Our wedding was simply the best day of our lives (it's cliche for a reason!), and I'm confident in saying that it was so because TGT was there by our sides. Lauren, Kate, Kristen and TGT will always hold a special place in our hearts as we are so, so thankful for them.

    Couldn't ask for a better coordinator!

    A day-of coordinator was required by our venue, and we opted for the month from TGT with the thought that it would be an extra help that couldn't hurt. We had already planned most of the wedding ourselves, so we thought this would just be one extra person to run through the final details but not much else. We were wrong! We were assigned to Justine as our month of coordinator, and we couldn't be happier. I can't even imagine how chaotic the day—or month!—would have been without Justine. Justine was upbeat, professional, and SO efficient (our friends and family kept commenting on how she somehow managed to be everywhere at once). She made the last month of planning as stress-free as possible, kept track of every little detail without overwhelming us, and understood what we needed (and asked when she wasn't sure). She broke down the last stretch into manageable tasks, and really made sure to keep us focused on the most important parts rather than getting caught up in all the tiny little details. Most importantly, she made the wedding day itself run as smoothly as possible. Even when we had little bumps along the way, she was quick to think of solutions that worked for us, and we felt like she really listened and took our needs and desires as a priority. She's also extremely skilled at being nice while also giving firm directions (especially when it comes to relatives who aren't the best listeners). Already we've been telling our engaged friends to get a month of coordinator to ease the final stretch, but if we could give them Justine specifically we would! Thank you, Justine!

    Best wedding planners!

    We were totally blown away by The Get Together Events Co. from our very first intro call. We hung up confident that we were in good (fun!) hands. Justine was an absolute dream to work with. She was exactly what we needed: highly organized yet flexible, and a clear, enthusiastic communicator who managed to keep the energy up and keep us on track, all while not overwhelming us (still not sure how she did it!). Justine nudged us in the right direction, took stressful tasks off our plates, found the last-minute florist, showed up with emergency hairspray, and corralled family for photos… and did so seamlessly. On our wedding day, Justine was everywhere and nowhere – ensuring everything ran smoothly from breakfast tacos to after party tunes. We cannot recommend TGT more.

    Amazing Experience

    Working with The Get Together Events was one of the best decisions we made during wedding planning! We worked with Lauren and Kristen for our Chicago Wedding and they truly helped make our day perfect! Working with Lauren the month of the wedding was amazing. She was extremely responsive, organized and just wonderful! Her process that she uses makes it so easy to keep updated and to stay organized. Kristen was with us on our wedding day and we could not have asked for anyone better. She was an amazing leader for the day, kept everything on time, organized and answered everyones questions (and she made it look effortless!!) Kristen truly made our day even more special. With Lauren's guidance and Kristen's leadership, we had the perfect wedding day!

    Truly phenomenal people

    Working with Justine and Grace at The Get Together was the BEST wedding decision we made, hands down. My husband and I were totally unprepared for wedding planning. Justine and Grace stepped in as organizers, negotiators, and confidants. They were both cool as a cucumber, even in the face of vendors from hell (not naming names). Their confidence and calmess kept me from losing my head. ETERNALLY grateful to these two. The wedding was truly beautiful, and they were the ones that pulled it together.     An absolute pleasure!

    My husband and I are so beyond pleased with our experience working with TGT. We got married in Nashville, TN this October and began planning about a year in advance from our home in Brooklyn, NY. As we dove deeper into how much of an undertaking this may actually be, we searched for assistance and came upon The Get Together. After our initial call with Lauren, we knew we absolutely would be working together. The business model of month-of-planning-agency is brilliant. It allowed me to pull together all of my big picture plans in advance and with TGT's help to hone everything into realistic expectations in the home stretch - we were able to pull off our dream wedding - within budget!

    Nothing but positive things to say about the entire team. Their organization, communication, direction, and expertise truly got us through the finish line with flying colors!

    As a queer couple from the South, we were made to feel extremely comfortable and supported from day one.

    Major shoutout to Jess, our on-site coordinator for day of - absolutely crushed. She kept me calm while accomplishing everything we had dreamed of in real time. Our wedding party and families felt extremely comfortable having Jess on-site. Thank you for everything, Jess!

    Just perfection all around! HIGHLY recommend and honestly - a little sad our time has ended! Looking forward to not shutting up about how amazing TGT is to everyone I know.

    Haylie & Jeff - NYC Destination Wedding

    We are so happy that we chose to work with The Get Together Events team! Justine was our lifesaver and made planning a destination wedding possible. Not only is she an angel to work with, but she knows her stuff when it comes to wedding planning!

    We chose the 8 week package, and through consistent communication, Justine made us feel on track and supported every step of the way. Since we don’t live in NYC, she let us ship and store all of our wedding items at her home. On the day of our wedding, Justine made sure that everything was in order and running smoothly so that we could enjoy every second of our day. She had different group chats with the bridesmaids, groomsman, parents, and whoever else to ensure that everyone was on the same page, knew the plan, and didn’t need to ask us for anything. From getting ready with our wedding party, to getting married, and then celebrating with our guests -we truly got to be in the moment, and we are so lucky to have had Justine as our coordinator.     We couldn't have done it without Justine!

    We cannot recommend The Get Together, and Justine specifically, enough. She made the final month of planning our wedding so much less painful, by laying everything out so clearly, breaking things down into manageable chunks, and being so responsive and flexible to our needs and questions. And then on the day itself, Justine quickly became our best friend, ensuring the day went seamlessly, never making anything difficult or stressful, and ensuring we had the most perfect day and could just concentrate on having fun!     Incredible planning team

    We had interviewed a couple of other wedding planners, but once we interviewed TGT, it was a no brainer that they were going to plan our wedding. Right from the get go, TGT's attitude, professionalism, and just overall vibe is infectious in all the right ways. Their attention to detail was unlike I had ever seen before, the amount of prep documents and checklists was so incredibly helpful and is really what kept us organized and on track in the midst of all the wedding planning chaos, and just the sheer sincerity and humor they brought to this oftentimes stressful process is really what kept us going. Justine and Katherine were our go to people, and not once did we feel unsupported. Justine was our logistics lead that helped us resolve every issue, dotted every i and crossed every T with the utmost precision, and relieved us of most of the stress of that final 6 week stretch. Katherine was our day of coordinator that not only wrangled our wedding party through the most chaotic of group chats, but executed our day so beautifully that everyone is still telling us almost 2 weeks later how perfectly everything went, and my husband and I couldn't agree more. Please please please hire TGT, you won't regret it.

    The best!!!

    We truly could not have asked for a more professional, friendly, organized, fun, creative and helpful team of people to be our month of coordinator for our wedding! Lauren was so amazing to work with from day one, helping us to stay on track by providing a recommended wedding planning timeline along with vendor recommendations and tons of other helpful resources. Once we were a month out, Haleigh also came on board and was absolutely wonderful. Haleigh was on-site the day of our wedding and did such an incredible job of making sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible. She even went above and beyond and dropped our belongings off at our house for us after the wedding so that nobody had to slip away from the after party to do so. When I tell you that I was so calm the day of my wedding, I truly mean it and it's all because of these ladies. Truly one of the best decisions we made when choosing which vendors to hire for our wedding!

    Efficiency and joy!

    Lauren and her team truly saved my life. I had an unexpected family tragedy two months before the wedding and our plans needed to change rapidly. We handed things over to TGT and they made everything so much easier than we could have imagined. Lauren and our day-of-coordinator, Katherine, were both so supportive and fun. Their work allowed my husband and I to truly enjoy our wedding day. 11/10!!!!

    Hire The Get Together for your wedding!

    I can't recommend The Get Together highly enough! As a producer, I had high expectations for our wedding coordinator but I was blown away by the careful attention, professional organization, and thoughtful communication of Lauren and Katherine. As soon as they came on a month before the wedding, I kept saying that things felt eerily calm and anytime I thought of something to worry about Lauren had already taken care of it. I can't believe how much effort and time they put in. The day went off without a hitch (as far as I'm aware, which is exactly what you want to say!) and we loved the kind and enthusiastic energy Lauren and Katherine brought to our planning and wedding day. We couldn't have done it without them!

    Best of the best

    PEOPLE!!! I could not be more thankful I chose to work with TGT for my wedding coordination. I work in the industry and knew of a lot of great vendors to choose from (which is awesome), but I was so very pleased I landed on TGT. I've loved working with their team on the production side of things and am so happy I got to experience them from a client perspective now, too. Lauren went above and beyond to make our weekend perfect. Ultimately, she gets. things. DONE. and is so professional... But has the best attitude and energy while doing it. Thank you guys SO MUCH for being so great at what you do! We will always remember yall :)

    Expert, Valuable Month of Coordination

    Month of planning with TGT Events was by far the most worthwhile money spent for our wedding! Lauren and Rae are worth their weight in gold, and I can’t stress how grateful I am to have had them on our team. As a bride who had the majority of wedding planning on her shoulders, it was such a gift to have our TGT team come in a month out and take over for the home stretch.

    Lauren’s organizational skills were impeccable. She was my biggest advocate in the month leading up to the wedding! She heard all of my thoughts and requests and was able to make everything happen, all while maintaining her contagious positivity. Her expertise made every mountain into a molehill, and all the weight she took off my shoulders allowed me to start getting excited for the wedding day. I was so sick of emails towards the end of planning, but emailing Lauren was always a pleasure!

    Rae took charge of our entire day with such grace and efficiency; even wrangling our bridal party was a breeze with her help. Rae’s experience and knowledge of our wedding day were evident in the seamless flow of events on the day of, leaving us completely stress-free and able to enjoy every moment with our guests.

    We really can’t recommend TGT enough! Such wonderful people who have the biggest hearts for our biggest days. We will be thankful for them forever!

    Month-of coordination proved invaluable

    We worked with The Get Together Events Co. for month-of coordination leading up to our wedding in May 2024. I am not exaggerating when I say that I don't think we could have done it without them. We were not using a standard all-inclusive wedding venue for our ceremony/reception but instead opted for a church wedding with reception set up in a large pavilion outside. As such, although we secured all the vendors in advance, there was a LOT of small details that I would have never thought about that Lauren and Kate, due to their valuable experience in the business, were able to foresee, troubleshoot and execute. Following our download meeting, they hit the ground running and made every step of the way seamless so that we could enjoy our big day with no worries. If there was something that still needed to be done, they came to us with solutions already planned out, right down to working with our alcohol distributor to make sure that our margaritas were exactly what we wanted! I recommend them for any of your wedding needs.

    Justine was amazing

    Justine from The Get Together Events was absolutely amazing; I could not recommend her enough. She brought our wedding vision to life and made the entire process enjoyable and stress free! She was attentive to every little detail, listened to all of our wants, had an extremely calming presence, and made sure our wedding day ran perfectly.     The Best Decision for My Wedding Day: The Get Together Events Co.

    The title says it all – hiring TGT was truly the best decision that my husband and I made for our wedding day. Our venue required a month-of-coordinator (MOC), and I'm so happy that we found TGT because the month leading up to the wedding would have gone much different if we didn't have them on our team.

    We worked with Justine and Katherine, both of whom were delightful to work with from the very beginning. Justine kept us organized and on top of our to-do's during the weeks leading up to the wedding day while simultaneously ensuring that the complex logistics for our many vendors were taken care of. Whenever we had questions, she was quick to respond with the most positive vibes which helped relieve the planning stress. She was also an expert when it came to our venue, so having her guidance and knowledge was a huge help.

    On the day of, Katherine was truly a beacon of light from the start of the day until the very end. She was on top of everything that needed to be done and really made sure that we stayed on schedule throughout the entire wedding day, and all with a smile! My bridesmaids were so impressed with her professionalism as well as how communicative she was throughout the entire wedding day. She really helped us to relax, and that allowed us to enjoy our wedding to the fullest.

    We could not have asked for better team to work with for our wedding day. It was truly the best day ever, and we are so grateful to Justine, Katherine, and TGT for helping us make that happen.

    Highly recommend TGT!

    We just had our wedding at Greenpoint Loft on May 4, 2024, and hired The Get Together Company as our one-month coordinator. We truly cannot say enough good things about them. They knocked it out of the park. This was by no means an easy feat-- Greenpoint Loft is a blank canvas, so we had been working with over a dozen different vendors by the time Lauren + the team came on. From start to finish, they were amazing. We would absolutely, no question recommend them to all of our friends, and if we had to do this all over, we would use them again in a heartbeat.


    Lauren is meticulous, efficient, organized, knowledgable, and solution-oriented-- no idea is too big for her to handle, and she is highly proactive in approaching any challenges. To this day, my partner and I both remember how, during our first call with her, we explained how we had plans to incorporate a trillion personal items into our wedding day (including a ping pong table and corn hole, among dozens of other smaller items) and we were nervous about these plans falling through the cracks. After we listed out all of our personal items and our plans for them, Lauren's response was "That's it?" It didn't faze her in the slightest. She's seen it all, and whatever your plans are, she'll make it happen.


    My partner and I both consider ourselves incredibly detail-oriented and have high standards, and Lauren met our highest expectations. It's honestly hard to imagine how a wedding coordinator could be more meticulous than her. All we had to do was mention something once, and we knew Lauren would write it down and it wouldn't fall through the cracks.


    Even her knowledge on event planning was impressive-- she constantly mentioned things that we didn't even think about (bringing chalk in case my dress got dirty when we went outside; making sure certain items we placed on the tables outside wouldn't fly away if it got windy; placing a "starter envelope" in the card box so guests would know to put cards there; how to make sure the band knew when to transition songs for different people walking down the aisle; and so much more.) We genuinely feel it would have been IMPOSSIBLE to have our wedding come together as perfectly as it did without her.


    We have heard about many wedding coordinators and planners from our friends in NYC, and we are pretty sure we are the only people among our friends that have walked away with a positive experience with a coordinator/planner.


    Also, special shout out to Justine! She was our on-site coordinator. She was flawless. Her priority was making sure me, my partner, and our parents were happy-- and we know that if we had any issue at all, she would have done anything to fix it. Our guests were even commenting how on top of it and hard-working she was. She was the perfect balance of keeping things light and fun and also making sure everything got done.


    Long story short: Hire them! It's hard to get much better. They were phenomenal.

    The best decision we made

    Besides the whole “getting married” part, hiring TGT was the single best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process. We reached out to The Get Together after realizing that our dream day we had planned had spun a bit off the rails, and probably required a bit of expert help to execute our vision. Immediately after connecting with Lauren and the TGT team, we felt a sigh of relief. We worked closely with them in the month leading up to our wedding to finalize all the last details — from the big stuff (“don’t forget the marriage license”) to the little details (“what are you having for breakfast?”). We’d like to think of ourselves as pretty organized people, but the attention to detail from the TGT team ensured that our day went exactly as we envisioned it without any hiccups. On the day of, our two incredible coordinators (Katherine and Jesi — we love you!!!!) flawlessly executed every moment of our day across three venues — a massive feat we never could have accomplished without them. To boot, their entire team is nothing but lovely. Their presence on our big day and the time leading up to it allowed us to really relish in what was the best day of our lives. If you’re reading this and even slightly considering hiring TGT — just do it. I promise you won’t regret it.

    Great Experience

    Going into our wedding, we did not think we would benefit that much from having a coordinator. Our venue required that we hire a day-of / month-of coordinator and we selected The Get Together because they had worked at our venue multiple times before and their professionalism was evident from the get-go. We were incredibly pleased with our selection, and definitely appreciated having a coordinator leading up to and for the day of our wedding. While we selected them many months in advance, we officially kicked off with The Get Together about a month before the big day. They provided us several detailed shared documents that we could fill out, insert questions into and they could review and respond to. They were very responsive when we had questions, and were especially helpful in taking the reins in terms of leading communication with our other vendors (DJ, florals, venue / caterer, hair, makeup). On the day-of is when having a coordinator proved really worth it. Justine was across everything, from herding people around to pictures, to ensuring we had a couple of snacks throughout the day. She was in great spirits the whole time, and everything ran like clockwork as a result. We absolutely recommend The Get Together!

    Best money spent in wedding budget - 10/10!!

    We had a GREAT experience with TGT. We planned a lot of our wedding on our own by the 6-week-out mark when Justine (the GOAT) stepped in. she was able to review our ideas and use her event expertise to modify our plans, point out blind spots or things we didn't even think to consider, take over the reins, and ultimately bring together a seamless event. plus she was calm and positive, even in the face of our wackier ideas or items we still hadn't done at the last minute. she kept it fun and light but also underneath it all, really really organized with weekend homework assignments and centralized spreadsheets and word docs. we didn't stress about a thing the day of our wedding, all thanks to Justine. i really feel this was the best money spent in our whole wedding budget and would hire them again 100 times over.

    Justine is Amazing!

    Justine is the coordinator you want in your corner! She is incredibly enthusiastic, funny, and detail-oriented. We had our first intro call a month out from our wedding, and from there, Justine created a structured plan for us to follow with weekly check-ins, all of which helped put our minds at ease. If there were any surprises that came up, Justine was on it immediately.

    Day of the wedding, Justine met us in the morning and was then seemingly everywhere at once, helping direct us, family, and vendors throughout the day. We received a ton of comments from family and friends about how awesome Justine was. Justine made all of the work that comes with planning a wedding so much easier; we can’t recommend her and TGT enough!

    HIRE THEM - just do it

    Julie was as close to a fairy godmother as I'll ever get. We hired Get Together Events for 'Month of' coordination. The transition from my disorganized brain to their very capable hands was so easy. We walked into the day without a care in the world. Julie took care of all of the vendors, some of our family members, and us with grace and a smile :D We had multiple people comment that we were the most relaxed bride and groom they'd ever seen -- it was definitely because of Julie!

    TGT is a dream to work with, and the best money you will spend on your day!

    If you are on the fence about hiring The Get Together, allow me to ease your mind: DO IT! Unquestionably, you will be so happy you did. Hiring TGT was the absolute best money we could have spent on the wedding, hands down. The costs of a wedding or big event add up so quickly, and I think many people see a coordinator/planner as an area to cut costs, but I think this is a huge mistake. Julie was such an asset to our wedding and I can't imagine it without her. It was the dreamiest day and we owe it to her! Weeks later, friends are STILL saying to me, "by the way, your wedding coordinator was AMAZING!"

    Julie was both our month of coordinator and on site coordinator. From the start she went above and beyond, asking us questions we would have never thought to ask ourselves. She was literally made to do this, she has "best friend" energy and is as excited about your event as you are. Right away she picked up where I left off, and just wait until you see all of the planning materials and spreadsheets. I was blown away. She took care of detailed timelines, vendor contracts, payment schedules, and kept us on task for all of the little projects and elements we needed to complete. Alleviating some of this logistical stress was invaluable to us in the final weeks leading up to our wedding.

    The day of, she was there when you needed her and unseen when you didn't. When little things went wrong, as they always do, she made sure we didn't know until we absolutely needed to, and she had already fixed the problem. We had one slight mishap that would have put me in tears if I had known and had to deal with it myself, but by the time Julie told me she had already fixed it and it was no big deal at all. Not to mention the genuine positive attitude and can do energy she maintained throughout the long day. Seriously, run don't walk to hire TGT. And if you're in NYC, I hope you get to work with Julie, she's truly a gem!

    Excellent Experience

    My wedding would not have turned out so perfectly if it weren’t for Julie. I was on the fence about hiring a month-of coordinator but several of my vendors recommended this company very highly, they clearly have made a name for themselves in the industry! Julie helped us every step of the way and took so many tasks off our plate. She is warm and confident which made us feel very taken care of during what is typically the most stressful time of wedding prep. On the day of she was indispensable in organizing all of our vendors and guests. We were rained out of our original ceremony and cocktail hour locations but this wasn’t an issue at all because we agreed on a rain plan in advance and all of the vendors were given that plan ahead of time as well so it was seamless. Julie kept every element on schedule and prepared us for what we would need to do and when. If you’re on the fence about hiring a coordinator/planner for your whole wedding planning, month-of, or day of I can’t emphasize enough that this is probably the best money we’ve spent on any part of our wedding. During the actual event my husband and I were totally stress-free and able to just focus on getting married and having an amazing party instead of fretting over logistics. With Julie’s expert help we were able to just enjoy our special day and the happy memories we have now are priceless.

    The Get Together Events Co. - Professional, fun, dedicated

    We worked with Justine Salata primarily for our halloween-themed wedding. Justine did an absolutely incredible job managing every aspect of the wedding and reporting it out to us, every step of the way, in a format that was concise and simultaneously all-encompassing. She and The Get Together Events Co. as a whole share a passion for wedding planning and management that is evident in the work they do and the way they do it. She was a blast to work with the entire time, which was impressive given the amount she was covering, especially the day of the wedding. As someone who is an event planner myself, I cannot recommend their team enough.     The Most Magical Wedding - Thanks to Justine & The Get Together Events Co.

    We cannot say enough wonderful things about The Get Together Events Co. Our planner, Justine, was just THE BEST! One of the nicest, most enthusiastic, supportive, and organized individuals we have come across. If you are planning a wedding, you know that it can be completely overwhelming. Having Justine come onboard for the final month, as well as the day of, was the best decision we made while wedding planning.     Best decision ever! Tgt is a must have!

    I cannot thank The Get Together Events more for ensuring a seamless, stress free, absolutely perfect wedding day! Julie was an incredible coordinator, was extremely communicative, friendly, funny, and overall such a joy to partner with! I loved all of the formal documentation that we collaborated on, it was so easy to know how we were progressing each week leading up to the wedding. I’m a pretty organized person and love planning however I knew I needed someone to help stitch together final details and ensure it was all executed flawlessly day of — and Julie absolutely nailed it!! I was so at ease and present on my wedding day (which isn’t easy as an anxious perfectionist) and Julie assuaged all concerns… even did a magic rain dance to ensure the thunderstorms held off and we could keep the roof open during the ceremony (at the Wythe) ha!     Hire TGT immediately!

    I knew when I started wedding planning that I wanted a Month-of-Coordinator on our side! It was an extra expense for us, but one that I knew would take away some stress on the day of. Little did I know, that working with Justine and Lauren of TGT, would become the single best thing I did to set our wedding day up for success! Justine did more behind the scenes than I could have ever imagined, and was there every single step of the way, with helpful plans, lists, constant reassurance and supportive words. Not only did she take what felt like the weight of the world off my shoulders, she was a sounding board for worries and ideas, and my biggest hype-gal! She was by my side when I wasn't feeling well, and executed a last minute wardrobe alteration. She truly went above and beyond to give us the best day ever, and I could go on and on (and in tears!) talking about how amazing she is, and how relieved I felt the whole month leading up to our wedding, knowing we had her support. Don't even think twice, hiring TGT was the best decision we made, and you will be so glad that you did it too!

    Best decision we made!!

    We are truly obsessed with the get together, and specifically our coordinator Julie. Having a month of coordinator was a game changer and really allowed us to ENJOY our wedding without sweating the details. Julie was the perfect blend of organized approachable and level headed - we had full faith in her as she navigated that final month of logistics. Our wedding party and families were also obsessed with Julie and did inquire about whether she could stage manage their entire lives haha. If you’re on the fence about a coordinator, wholeheartedly suggest you go for it.

    Couldn’t have done this without them

    My husband and I were hellbent on planning our wedding ourselves to save cost and decided to invest in a month-of coordinator to hand things over to as the wedding got closer and we couldn’t have possibly made a better decision than The Get Together Events. Specifically, Justine Salata was an absolute superstar in keeping everything organized, getting us whatever we needed and, most importantly, keeping things running smoothly on wedding day. From the moment we each respectively stepped foot at the venue to the moment we left, she was there making sure everything was running smoothly and giving directions to those who needed it. We’ve been telling everyone this, but we could not have had as magical of a wedding as we did if it wasn’t for Justine and TGT. Also, it’s worth mentioning that Justine’s energy throughout the entire day was so positive and inviting and made for a completely stress-free atmosphere for my husband and I. We 1000% cannot recommend their services enough. Worth every single penny (and then some)!

    TGT month-of coordination was one of the most important decisions we made for our wedding. The primary virtual meeting we had with Lauren and Justine was thorough and addressed so many details we would have never thought of. This initial meeting helped us get organized and fine-tune the details of the weekend.

    Justine was our main logistic lead (and the PERFECT coordinator), both in the lead up weeks and on the big day. Her positive energy made us feel so relaxed throughout the process so that we were able to enjoy our special day how we envisioned! At the end of the day, she truly has you and your partners well-being and happiness in mind. We couldn’t imagine our day without Justine and are forever grateful for her.

    5/5. TGT is the best investment in your wedding – even more so than the venue or the details. If there is anything my wife and I would’ve reconsidered for our wedding, it would have been to work with Julie, Grace, and Lauren the second after I proposed. This team in one month, organized and remedied our year-long chaos, and we actually went into the wedding truly stress-free. On wedding day, the team’s preparation and experience really shone, and things that would’ve been an issue were rearranged and managed so flexibly that the whole day felt as perfect as we could’ve hoped for. I saw another review when we did our research that stated working with the TGT was like having “fairy godmothers”, and I couldn’t agree more. What they do is truly magic – with a smile.

    Best Wedding Planner ever!

    The Get Together Events team is amazing! Julie and Lauren were so helpful through all of the planning stages - with their speedy, professional email responses and amazing problem solving skills, we knew we were in great hands from the first day they came on board. With our busy work schedules, we weren't sure if we could keep up with all of the details that need to be ironed out in those final weeks leading up to the wedding - thank goodness for Julie! Julie brought everyone together on the same page and all of our vendors raved about how great she was to work with. The wedding day was truly amazing and ran so smoothly - and knowing that Julie was running everything left me to actually enjoy the day!     Not sure how anyone has a wedding without these guys

    Easily the best decision we made for the wedding. My husband and I did not have a wedding planner throughout the 18-month planning process, but as soon as she started, it felt like Justine had been with us from the get-go. Within the first hour of getting to know her, we were no longer terrified of letting something slip through the cracks. Within a few days, we felt this huge weight had been lifted from our shoulders. She jumped in so seamlessly, took over all vendor communication, and was on top of everything: details, payment deadlines, last-minute decisions, etc.

    The week before the big day, everyone involved in the wedding received an insanely detailed timeline of events that outlined who needed to be where and when - hair & makeup schedules, extended family photos, shuttle schedules, you name it. That weekend, she was also texting with our bridesmaids and groomsmen to make sure everyone was where they were supposed to be!

    We actually had an easy time managing our parents, but realize not everyone has that privilege. Even still, the closer we got to the wedding day, the more questions we were starting to field. "Ask Justine" became our go-to response to every single question. She mercifully looped us right out of those conversations, while keeping us in the know on anything important.

    One of the biggest, last-minute obstacles we ran into was how we were going to transport all of our (56) disco balls from Brooklyn to Beacon. Justine helped us brainstorm some creative solutions, and then literally offered her OWN car to pack our disco balls in. We never would have gotten everything up to Beacon without her.

    If she hadn't already proven her worth (and then some) in the 30 days leading up to the wedding, the wedding day sealed the deal. Justine brought such an incredible energy, made us and our wedding party so comfortable, and had us laughing all day long. It was such a whirlwind of the day, but she was there shepherding it along. She also knew exactly when to audible - for example, we quickly realized we didn't want to leave the dance floor for our cake cutting, which she picked up on immediately. She coordinated with our photographer so that we were able to slip in a 5-minute, low-key cake cutting without missing out on the rest of our party. Even the tiniest little things...she spotted me struggling to unbuckle my shoes at one point and ran over to help me.

    Like I said, TGT was the best decision we could have made and we seriously don't know how anyone makes it through their wedding day without a Justine.

    Best Coordinator Ever!

    Wow wow wow. Can't recommend The Get Together enough. Julie made it possible for us to feel so taken care of and stress free for our wedding weekend and the month before. She coordinated our welcome event and the wedding day. She's so organized and is the best communicator. She makes sure you think of everything in advance so you can have the most fun and works behind the scenes to ensure everything goes seamlessly. The day of she incredibly got us, our families and our niece and nephew through a rehearsal in ten minutes. She takes charge in the most unassuming, graceful and fun way! She'd always come to check in on us and our families to make sure we were good - she had scissors in her handy dandy toolkit to help me with my dress, she'd bring us water, food and drinks, she made everything look and flow amazingly. Honestly the best guest that we couldn't have lived without. Literally told her I love her at the wedding. Can't say enough incredible things! Also shout out to Liz, Julie's assistant for the wedding day, who popped in seamlessly and was so easy and fun to work with!

    You need tgt, seriously

    The Get Together was far and away the best money we spent on our wedding; we know this for a fact because my now-wife and I could not stop saying it to each other throughout the entire stressful processes.

    To say they are organized is an understatement. On our first call with Lauren and Justine, we started to describe the layout of our venue and before we even finished they said, “Oh don’t worry, we already did a site visit last week and are in contact with the manager.” That was just the first in a long, long line of them being a step ahead. Lauren planned everything to a tee, was in touch with all our vendors on our behalf, coordinated everything beautifully and genuinely asked how we were doing several times a week.

    On the day of the wedding, Justine was simply flawless. First of all, her energy was sensational. Her excitement was contagious and made us feel giddy. One of our niece’s described her as ‘a human exclamation point’! She orchestrated our non-traditional venue’s ceremony brilliantly, got our rowdy bridal party through the rehearsal with humor and kindness, and came up with solutions to in-the-moment issues flawlessly and with a smile.

    They anticipated needs before we even knew we had ones. They provided solutions we didn’t even know existed yet and happily pivoted when we had our own ideas/suggestions. It was like working with fairy godmothers. Planning a wedding is so beyond stressful (and we did a small one!), but do yourself a favor and hire TGT– you don’t even know how badly you need them. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

    TGT made our wedding PERFECT!

    We cannot recommend TGT enough!! Everything at our wedding went perfectly, all because of them. We used them for month-of coordination, and it was such a relief to hand off the planning right at crunch time. They thought of everything, including things we would have never considered. Julie made incredible documents that kept us organized and sent weekly to do emails to help prevent us from feeling overwhelmed while still keeping us on track. We wish we hired them to plan the whole wedding, it would have saved us a lot of stress and anxiety! Justine and Katherine were incredible day of, and made sure that we and our guests had everything taken care of and that everything was running according to schedule. Justine informed us whenever there was something we needed to do and even reminded us to eat :) Justine also brought an upbeat, positive energy that put everyone in a good mood. Katherine went above and beyond and recorded our ceremony with my maid of honor's camera. Compared to our rehearsal dinner, where we were in charge of everything, the wedding went so well and we were free to be present with each other and our guests. Do yourself a favor and hire TGT!

    If there's one thing you need for your wedding, it's TGT.

    Having TGT as a month-of-coordinator was easily THE BEST decision we made for our wedding. If you had to prioritize one thing, it should be to have TGT on your side for the big day. There were so many little details and activities I had planned throughout the day and this team executed everything FLAWLESSLY. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing during the weekend, and I couldn’t be more thankful!

    Justine was our logistics lead and when I tell you she is a superhero, I truly mean it. No question is too big or too small for her. She was the main contact for all of my vendors and also put together a schedule that had listed every little thing that was going on inside my brain. It was AMAZING. Whenever I had a question, I knew I could go to her and she would get it answered as soon as she could. Whenever I had a random thought or last minute idea I wanted to capture, she was already on it. She is truly so great and I wish everyone I ever worked with could be like Justine.

    During the rehearsal and wedding day, our onsite manager was Kristen. If you ever have her as your onsite manager, just know that you are in THE BEST hands. I will admit that I was a bit nervous that some things would be lost during knowledge transfer, but Kristen DID NOT MISS A BEAT. Everything went so smoothly and according to plan. As a very meticulous planner, that’s all I could ever ask for. On top of that, she is also just the sweetest human alive! If you get to work with Kristen, you will absolutely love it! In addition to Kristen, we also had help from Julia throughout the day! She was so great to work with and was super helpful when anyone from our wedding party had small or random questions!

    TGT truly gave me the dream team for my wedding and I am forever grateful. If you hire TGT for your wedding, I know you’ll also feel the same way!

    Amazing Service!

    I can't say enough good things about Julie, Lauren, and team for helping us push through the final stretch of our wedding planning process. We had hired a full service wedding planner, who at the last moment had to bow out of helping us due to a family emergency. She connected us with TGT crew and I can not say enough good things about the process. From the download meeting though our wedding day Julie and team were so helpful for my many questions. The various spreadsheets and charts were essential at keeping me organized and helping me put the finishing touches on our wedding planning process.     TGT Saves the Day

    Lauren and her team are simply amazing. If you don't read the rest of this, just know: you need to hire them.

    The process begins with an exploratory call: potential clients get to hop on a video call with the TGT crew to get to know them and see if the planner/couple vibe is on point. Up until this point, our planning process had been tumultuous to say the least. I was blown away by their preparedness, excitement and strategic approach. This was around 60ish days out, but you can book them earlier than that (and should!)

    30 Days out, the couple and TGT hop on a Download Call. This is where you go over all of your planning docs (that you've uploaded to Google Drive via they're very thorough surveys). It's a two hour meeting where you hand over your wedding. From here on out, they've got it - and for real, they GOT it.

    You'll communicate via a shared Google Sheet; however, if that's not your vibe, you can answer questions/complete steps via email. An event manager (ours was Lauren) and day-of coordinator (ours was Tori) will respond to your questions, comments, concerns, and compliments every day - often times, multiple times a day.

    Fast forward the 30 days (everything goes so fast because you get to ENJOY the last moments of your engagement while they cross all the t's and dot all the i's). On your wedding day, your day of coordinator is the QB of the day. They are timely, efficient, courteous, flexible, and go the extra mile on absolutely everything.

    The Get Together saved my wedding day. Before signing with them, I was nervous, frustrated and basically over the day before it even began. Lauren, Tori and their team (shoutout Assistant Andy!) brought my vision to life, ensured everything ran smoothly, and allowed me (and my groom!) to have the absolute BEST day. Very thankful for The Get Together, and will recommend them one-thousand times over.

    Amazing - Highly Recommend!

    I should start by saying my partner and I are extremely detail-oriented and were prepared to plan every detail of the wedding together, and in-spite of this, working with Kate and Lauren at The Get Together Events Co. have been 100% worth the investment, and honestly enhanced our experience leading up to the month of and were singularly responsible for helping us through the final hurdles and managing the day! Kate and Lauren were responsive, kind, fun, and actively engaged throughout the process, and helped level us even through some stressful moments. At a month out when Kate and Lauren took over, everything about the planning and process became much easier to manage, with Lauren providing us clear tasks, reminders, updates, and taking over all the communication with vendors, this allowed us to focus entirely on managing our families and friends and preparing for the day. On the day, Kate was everywhere! There are so many little weird things that you don't even realize or think about until you start planning your own wedding that were stressing me out as a very OCD bride, but the TGT team are very knowledgeable and experienced and guided me through it so that all my worries and nerves about the event went away.

    Julie was my logistics lead in the month leading up to my wedding and was my day-of coordinator as well. She was an absolute delight to work with! She was extremely organized, thoughtful, responsive, and easy to communicate with. On the day-of she took care of everything and my wedding ran smoothly with no hiccups. When things came up like last minute guest cancellations that changed our seating chart, she handled everything and ran the day flawlessly.

    TGT To the Rescue!

    We really loved The Get Together's team spirit! We hired them for the Month Of and we appreciated it every minute of the day leading up to the wedding.

    Julie was our logistics coordinator and it instantly made us feel more at ease. She has such a positive but realistic attitude and kept us both very motivated to check off all the boxes on our list. They were also very accommodating and offered great out of the box solutions to some of our logistics issues.

    Our wedding day was impacted by the weather and while I wouldn't say it was smooth to transition from an outdoor wedding to an indoor wedding, We got through it and everyone had a great time. We would absolutely recommend them for your event!

    Truly exceeded expectations!!

    Where to even begin!! Working with Julie, Grace, and Lauren was honestly the best decision we made when it came to planning our wedding. If you're wondering whether it's worth hiring them for the month-of logistics, just do yourself a favor and book them. Things were starting to feel crazy right around that 1-month mark, and as soon as we had our meeting with them, they immediately made us feel relieved and excited. They helped us nail down every single detail —including several things we hadn't thought of yet — and made sure we were feeling calm and collected each week leading up to the big day. They are extremely organized and incredibly kind. I felt confident leaving my vendor/setup logistics to Julie and we felt truly pampered and cared for by Grace onsite on our wedding day. Several guests and family members remarked on how kind and attentive she was. She rolled with the punches and made sure my dad could execute some (questionable) surprises and made sure we were all having fun 100% of the time.     We truly can’t praise the Ladies of TGT enough. From our first meeting, the team was very enthusiastic about and committed to our special day and eager to offer expert advice, solutions, efficiency, and care. With all communication everyone was warm, fun, patient, and exciting to work with. They thought of everything, even things my Type A brain couldn’t fathom. To top it off, they coordinated and ran the most memorable day of our lives to perfection.

    Hire TGT! You won't regret it!

    We cannot thank or recommend TGT enough for all of the hard work they put into our wedding, from our first introductory call, through the planning process, and into the wee hours of the event itself (and even first thing the next morning!).


    We had guests from all over the map—all of our parents plus countless friends—specifically call out how spectacular Grace was throughout the event and we couldn't agree more. We got through photo-taking ahead of schedule (!), felt very prepared for the (long, logistically complicated) ceremony, loved the ceremony music cueing and cocktails waiting for us afterward, and were blown away by how smoothly every single piece of the reception clicked into place.


    We especially appreciated Grace's ability to lead with so much tact. We've been privy to some not-so-nice-to-be-around planners at other weddings, and this was the polar opposite of that. The entire day felt effortless, smooth, easy, and fun, which we're sure was because of a massive (yet somehow invisible) amount of finagling behind the scenes—and all of the planning that led up to the big day, of course!


    It also must be said that Julie, the logistics lead, is truly a mastermind. The flow of events made perfect sense and allowed us to fit so many meaningful details, people, and activities into the limited time we had. We had a firm grasp on the entire schedule of events, and got far fewer questions from friends and family thanks to her expertly crafted memos.

    Hiring The Get Together was the best thing that I did when wedding planning. Lauren, Julie, Justine and the whole team at TGT know exactly how to jump into your wedding planning at the right point in the process to help you get to the finish line, keep your stress levels low and enjoy the event that you spent so much time on.     Hiring TGT was the best decision

    Hiring TGT was the easiest and best decision for our wedding day. They were recommended by a coworker, by our venue, by our other vendors, and we knew from the very first call that we needed to work with them. We could not have survived the month of our wedding without them. Justine, our on-site coordinator, had everything we needed at the tips of her fingers day-of and was such a welcome presence in every space. Between her and Lauren, the month of our wedding was shockingly easy and we were able to be present for the big moments without any worry about how or when something would be accomplished. Hire them, you won’t regret it!

    Cool, Calm, Collected

    Still freaking out about how amazing our wedding was a few weeks back. Before TGT came on board we were stressed and juggling more than we could handle. Julie & Lauren immediately made us feel at ease and helped visualize everything better than we could have imagined. Julie crushed our wedding weekend from schedule to vendor management to just being a positive energy around the property. Even my mom who is impossible to please raved about how seamless and beautiful the day was. Would not have been possible without this team. Best money we spent.     TGT helped make our wedding the perfect day!

    Working with TGT was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Lauren was so helpful in the weeks leading up to the event, and was so detail oriented and responsive. She made us feel really confident and relaxed going into the big day! Our day-of-lead Tori was amazing, and kept us on time and on track all day. Our guests commented that the day went so smoothly, and its all thanks to TGT! I'd highly recommend, they are super buttoned up and know their stuff!

    DREAM TEAM!! TGT is the absolute best!

    My husband and I hired TGT to help with month-of coordination for our wedding in TN and let me tell you…it was worth EVERY PENNY. Lauren and Kate went above and beyond to make our day magical and there is no way we could have done it without them! TGT took everything we had planned up until the last month and hit the ground running with all of our last-minute details. There were some things we forgot to book in our planning process and Lauren made sure that we had everything taken care of and helped us keep our sanity at the same time! Lauren kept everything so organized for us to really stay on track and she created our entire timeline for the day of that coordinated all of our vendors. It was absolutely perfect! Our day-of coordinator Kate swooped in and took over on our wedding day and she was a ROCKSTAR. She kept us on track the whole day and went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our wedding vision came together the day of. My husband and I really wanted to have the last moment to ourselves at the end of the night to have a dance and soak in the day and Kate made sure that it was just me and him in the room at the end of the night and we have that memory forever now so we can’t thank her enough for helping us!! I could list sooo many other things that both Lauren and Kate did for us but the bottom line is .. If you are looking for an amazing team of coordinators who go out of their way to make sure you get the wedding of your dreams, then book them now!!!

    The BEST Vendor Decision I made

    Sept 2022 Chicago bride here! I'm a former wedding planner and Virgo with (admittedly) high standards. Working with TGT for month-of coordination was the BEST vendor decision I made. I had a complicated, multi-faceted South Asian wedding with double ceremonies, many outfit changes, lots of different photo locations, and tough family members. Lauren worked wonders leading up to the wedding with clear, concise, respectful, and enthusiastic communications. Something I didn't realize - after you book most of your vendors (catering, venue, DJ, etc) most of them go pretty quiet until a month before the wedding, then EVERYONE needs EVERYTHING all at once, and has competing interests. I can not imagine trying to organize and negotiate through that without Lauren. Day of, Katherine and Allison were AMAZING. No task too tough, nothing I threw at them seemed stressful, and the day was perfect. They made the day happen, without a doubt. And I was able to truly enjoy myself. Don't think - BOOK THEM before your date is gone.

    Lauren and TGT events are the absolute best!! She was our month of coordinator and swooped in exactly when I needed her to take everything off my plate and let me enjoy the month of!! Lauren and her team are incredibly talented, organized and SO amazing!! They made our wedding absolutely perfect and I can’t thank them enough for all that they did for us. We love you TGT!!

    Justine saved our lives

    Justine made our wedding so easy. When she took over 30 days out, all of our stress went away and we could focus on the little details that were exciting and joyful to us. All the tedious work was completely taken care of, to the point that we don't even know the extent of what she had to deal with (but we know it was a lot!). During the event, Justine managed the temperature in the rooms (for our particularly hot August wedding day), dealt with unruly relatives, and quickly made adjustments to the schedule for the smoothest outcome. She also made sure to check in and consult with us. Anytime we needed her she magically appeared! She also used her years of experience to advise on how to make the day the most special. We have been raving about her to everyone who will listen. Many guests came up to us to mention to us how seamlessly everything was running, all thanks to Justine!

    Highly Recommend!

    Hiring The Get Together Events was such a great decision for us! When they came on board the month before our wedding, we had a bunch of pieces that made a wedding (think venue booked, vendors hired, decor chosen) but no idea how things would actually happen on the day of! The Get Together Events team met with us, took what we had, helped us clarify what we wanted, identified some gaps in our planning, and helped us have an incredible wedding day. Julie was so helpful in keeping us on track, following up on every detail, all while maintaining so much excitement for us and our wedding! It was so helpful to have her overseeing all of the final details, confirming everything the weeks and days before the wedding with all of our vendors. I can't imagine how much work that would be to do ourselves, especially as we were trying to enjoy time with our out of town family in the days before the wedding. We had two team members on site (Lauren and Lauren) coordinating the day of our wedding and they made sure everything was seamless. We felt like we were able to present and enjoy our wedding without worrying about all the details that made the day so beautiful. We are so grateful to their team and would highly recommend their services to any couple getting married.

    Working with TGT is a MUST (And SO MUCH FUN!)

    Let me paint the picture that I am a type-A lunatic who has been dreaming of my wedding since I was 5 years old, and our wedding turned out to be better than anything I could have imagined. And I can very happily say that was because of the hard work, kindness, and thoughtfulness from the ladies at TGT.

    To say we loved working with Lauren and Justine would be a complete understatement.

    Starting with Lauren, she was the calm within the storm, taking things off my plate and handling them to help keep me from losing my mind the month of the wedding. She was also a huge resource for questions and any concerns I had. I hate confrontation and she flawlessly took over a conversation with a vendor I was having an issue with and rectified everything perfectly in the nicest most professional way possible. Not sure what the heck we would have done without her but we are SO grateful to have worked with her!!

    Justine was our day of coordinator who I swear has some sort of magical aura to keep everything peaceful and fun in the midst of wedding day chaos. We had huge wedding parties (I'm talking 22 excluding ushers) she kept everyone organized and on time while being incredibly charming and spirited. She handled my fussy grandma, made sure everyone was in place and on queue for our ceremony, and got all our items back to our hotel room at the end of the night -- all things that had highly stressed me out until TGT came into the picture! Seriously, my family was obsessed with Justine by the end of the weekend, and everyone kept talking about what a godsend she was!!! (Couldn't agree more!)

    If you are on the fence about working with a coordination service or going with TGT -- please count this as your sign to go for it. Our wedding would have been a total bust without them and they made such a fun and happy impact on our day. I'm seriously making all my friends and sisters use them!

    The MVPs of our wedding!

    I cannot rave about The Get Together Events enough! They were the MVPs of our wedding. Lauren, Julie, and the team were able to make what would have been a very stressful month before our wedding much easier. They took over finalizing everything with our vendors, helped us make a customized schedule for our wedding day, and kept in contact with our wedding party.

    We asked that our guests submit negative covid tests on the day of the wedding, and Lauren was able to create a custom link for everyone to upload their results to. She seamlessly monitored everyone's responses on the day so that we didn't have to worry! In the week leading up to our wedding, a number of our guests informed us that they would no longer be able to attend, and despite the fact that I was still re-organizing table arrangements at 7 am the morning of our wedding, I knew we were in good hands. The beginning of the ceremony was a bit chaotic - our officiants began their processional before our guests were aware the wedding was starting- but other than that everything was beautiful and everyone ended up in their correct (and sometimes new!) seat for dinner!

    I really do not know what we would have done without them! Thank you thank you!

    Hire them now!

    Hiring TGT was the best decision we made throughout the whole wedding planning process!!! We truly don't know what we would've done without them. They made the month of final planning stress-free by equipping us with everything we needed and making us feel confident in our ability to tie up all of the loose ends.  We were able to sleep soundly knowing that Lauren and Julie were on top of everything.

    We were nervous about all of the logistics and unsure of how our vision would be brought to life. TGT's planning process took away all of these nerves and the day could not have been more fun and easy. We didn't have to worry about a thing! They made our vision come to life in the best way.  We were BLOWN AWAY when we walked into the venue.  It was everything we hoped for and more. 

    Julie was by our side all day and her smile and calm energy brought us joy every time we interacted with her. We felt like she was just a natural part of our wedding party, except not drunk and WAY more reliable :) She was on top of EVERYTHING. My husband had blisters from his shoes and the bandaids weren't helping so they ran out and got him blister bandaids!

    Out of this world

    Lauren & Justine are out of this world incredible!! We worked with Lauren the month of for all behind the scenes wedding prep, pulling together all our vendors into 1 streamlined timeline, very impressive. It started with an initial handover call with Lauren & Justine which lasted 2 hours, about 5 weeks before our wedding date. The amount of detail they went into and the spreadsheets/documents they used to break everything down is beyond amazing.
    We had many questions come up in those last 2 weeks, without TGTE we would have been overwhelmed. Day of Justine was our coordinator, with Lauren on standby at the end of the phone. Justine had a Mary Poppins bag that literally had everything you could want or need on the day. My dress lost its buttons to pin the train up, Justine was there sowing me into my bustle, what a legend. Justine kept us on time throughout the day, it couldn’t have been more seamless.
    All our guests could see how incredible and professional Justine was on the day and wanted to know how we found her!!
    Lauren & Justine blew the doors off, we cannot thank them enough. You won’t regret hiring TGTE.

    Wedding Pros

    It was so great working with TGT for our wedding. Having them come in the month before the big day was a life saver! For month of coordination, Julie was a true pro. She worked directly with all vendors to make sure an organized timeline was put together and identified any items that we still needed to do on our end. There were so many details I would have never thought to do if I was planning on my own and so happy we had pros on our side who helped with these. Also having someone to reach out to ask any questions we had on the flow of the event was invaluable. Day of Lauren was on top of it and the reception room was set up exactly on how we had envisioned it. Having her there day of made it so me and my husband never had to worry about what was next. They had it covered. Highly recommend.

    The Get Together Even Co. is impeccably organized! Lauren & Grace put us (two very OCD planners) very much at ease throughout the 30 days leading up to our wedding and set us up with documents and checklists to ensure we had everything squared away up until that point. Our primary goal was to have an easy-to-execute wedding and these two made that happen. To say we are grateful is an understatement, they handled everything we needed them to and then some. They covered everything from organizing logistics with our family / friends to making sure vendors had the correct info and were properly tipped.     The best wedding decision we made!

    If you are planning a wedding, stop right now and book The Get Together! Lauren is not only incredibly kind, hilarious, and calming to interact with, she is also one of the most diligent and hardworking people I've worked with. From our very first interaction, Lauren put me at ease and assured me that I truly had someone in my corner. There's nothing more comforting than that. There are always bumps in the road in the month leading up to the wedding, and Lauren smoothed out every single one -- usually only informing my fiance and I once everything was 100% resolved, a HUGE relief for us. Justine went above and beyond on the day of to make sure our wedding day not only went smoothly, but was truly enjoyable for us. I had MANY guests at my wedding come up to me specifically to comment on how amazing Justine was, not only as a coordinator but as a human. I could go on forever, but do yourself a favor and book TGT ASAP, it will be the best decision you make for your wedding day!

    You can not get married without hiring TGT!

    We met with several wedding day-of planners and we knew instantly with the energy, personality and professionalism that Julie and Lauren were the ones. Thank goodness we hired them! Julie and Lauren were amazing and detailed to every little aspect (that I would never have thought about). Their energy and attention to detail made the day perfect - I knew I would be stressed and thinking about everything leading up to the week of and not able to relax but Julie made sure that was not the case.

    Just to name a FEW of the items they helped with - rain plan, making sure we ate the day of, helping coordinate all our vendor timelines (nightmare if you tried to do this yourself), pack list, detailed timeline to wedding party, wedding decor prep, ceremony flow, working with our officiant, providing multiple layouts, giving us weekly homework, etc. the list goes on and on.

    Out of all of our vendors - they are going to be the ones we will miss not speaking to every week! Hire them!

    Hire this team!

    Lauren and Julie were the best money we spent on our wedding. They were the BEST pair - they just took care of everything. They made everything leading up to the wedding feel so much more relaxed and in the best of hands and day of, they took care of all the behind the scenes chaos when we had to switch venues day of due to weather. I walked in and it felt as though we always were supposed to be in the new venue and as if we always planned to be there.     April Brooklyn Restaurant Wedding

    Book TGT Events now!!! They came on board a month before our day and blew our expectations out of the water. They took an active and proactive role from day one, sending us weekly to do lists, coordinating directly with all of our vendors, and making sure we thought of things we hadn't thought of. Grace was so amazing to have nearby on the day of the wedding. When I wanted to push the timeline back a bit, Grace was completely flexible and alerted the necessary parties immediately.     Best team to work with!

    The whole team is the best to work with!
    We had to postpone our wedding during the pandemic, and when it was back on, the city guidelines were still unclear. Nonetheless, they guided us through the changes, vendor issues and coordination, and everything else. When our venue suggested we hire a wedding coordinator, I thought it was a scheme ;) boy, I was so wrong about this!!! I don't know what would've happened if it wasn't for Lauren, Lauren, and Grace who made our wedding day so easy. Andre and I didn't have to worry about a thing, and they made our wedding day stress-free. I was juggling work, school, and wedding planning and they saved me. We are forever grateful to the team.     Hiring TGT was the best money we've ever spent - Julie and Lauren's support and advice were worth every penny. Their organization, thoughtful attention to detail, active listening and generous enthusiasm allowed us to truly feel like guests at our own wedding. I can't stop telling family and friends how relaxed I felt on the day -- we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and that's a testament to Julie and Lauren's work.

    For every request and idea we had, they responded with an enthusiastic YES and a quick solution for how to make it happen. I wanted to make sure that our flowers didn't go to waste at the end of the night, so I bought paper and ribbon and asked Julie to invite guests to take whatever they wanted. Instead, Julie made up gorgeous bouquets herself, all wrapped and ready to go, to hand out to our guests after the last song. Such a classy touch.

    Smooth Sailing, No Leaks

    Having The Get Together Events Co. as our month-of coordinator was the best decision we made for our wedding. Lauren was our main point of contact throughout the planning phase, and Sam was on site day-of (and for the rehearsal the day before!).

    When we got engaged, we didn't really understand why people would use month-of planning services, but after working with Lauren and Sam we realized how much help they were, and how many things would have slipped through the cracks if not for their hard work. They helped us keep track of all the important details, even the tiny ones (location of small decor items, Photo Booth back drop selection, etc) to ensure that everything went the way we wanted on the wedding day. They also helped clarify the legal requirements for us to get a marriage license, as neither of us lived in the city where the wedding took place. There is plenty of month-out vendor coordination that you don't think about when you begin planning a wedding, and thanks to Lauren we never had to think about it because she handled it all for us.

    In addition to making sure we didn't forget anything we planned on having, they also helped us navigate a few unforeseen last minute issues. We had a significant change in our guest count less than a month out, and Lauren worked with our caterer and rentals provider to accommodate this and even helped us rearrange our floorplan on short notice. She also saw we were missing a vendor for running the audio at our event, so TGT provided us with an emcee, Andy, for our reception at a very reasonable additional fee for such a last minute addition.

    Our wedding day itself ran smoothly and without any hiccups, and we would attribute almost all of that to having TGT as our month-of coordinators. Sam was there before we arrived and after we left, busy as a bee, but we hardly even noticed. We were able to enjoy the full wedding experience that we'd crafted while she kept everything on schedule and just like we wanted.

    Dream Wedding Team!!

    We loved working with Julie, Devon, Lauren and the rest of the TGT team! We hired them for month-of coordination of our medium-sized spring wedding in Brooklyn – Julie was our main point of contact throughout the final month leading up to the wedding, and Devon was our day-of person making sure everything was running smoothly and on time. TGT made all our wedding dreams come true – they ensured we got to fully enjoy the day, and not get stressed and bogged down over the many logistics and details that need handling during wedding planning.

    We had a longer engagement, so by the time we had gotten to a month out, we were suffering from decision fatigue and had lost track of some of the last couple “miscellaneous” tasks that needed to be finished. Julie was so incredibly organized, delivering weekly to-do lists with helpful instructions on how to accomplish each task. She also handled virtually all of our vendor coordination, delivering (as if by magic) an incredibly detailed timeline specifying where/when everybody (vendors, wedding party, family, etc) needed to be. Julie also handled coming up with the floor plan – which was slightly complicated due to the electrical needs of a photo booth and ice cream cart that would be showing up in the evening, and she seamlessly accommodated my desire to try and avoid placing key moments in front of a mural I was not particularly fond of at our venue.

    Devon was our day-of queen! She was in constant communication with us throughout the day, making sure we were on-schedule and where we needed to be. Devon helped to make sure the venue was being set-up the way we wanted (transporting a bunch of decor/signage/stationary from our getting-ready location to the venue and working with the venue staff to ensure everything was set-out properly), and she stayed until the end of the night to make sure all of our stuff got cleaned up and sent back home with us. We didn’t have to lift a finger to ensure that the venue was decorated and then cleaned at the end of the night!

    Hiring a month-of coordinator was a late decision for us, but hiring TGT to coordinate for us was one of the *best* decisions we made – our wedding day was perfect and the TGT team ensured that we got to enjoy every minute of it! Throughout our engagement, the month leading up to the wedding was actually the least stressful thanks to the help of TGT!

    We can't exaggerate how wonderful it was to work with Lauren and The Get Together Events Co. Lauren is dependable, professional, and exceptional at her job. What sets Lauren apart is her genuine excitement for your event and her passion for what she does. She not only is great at her job, but she's also a wonderful person.

    Our original wedding was postponed due to the pandemic. In fact, our wedding was the week everything shut down. Leading up to that week, the uncertainty of events made things very stressful. However, Lauren took the initiative in advance to reach out to our vendors and venue to come up with a back-up plan in case things did shut down. Instead of being reactive, Lauren chose to be proactive, which saved us an enormous amount of anxiety. For that, we are extremely thankful.

    When our rescheduled wedding finally happened, we were able to focus on each other and our family and friends, because we knew our event was in good hands with Lauren. It's probably biased to say that we think our wedding was probably the best wedding we've been to, but all of our friends have been telling us how much fun it was and how they wish we could do it again. We think that's a testament to Lauren's ability to put together such a fun & successful event.

    Again, Lauren is a professional and knows how to get things taken care of. But more importantly, she is a genuinely awesome person that really cares about you. We hope we get the chance to throw another event with Lauren :)

    the best money we spent on our wedding

    I cannot recommend the team from The Get Together enough for month-of planning services!

    While we had initially booked them for our 2021 wedding, and when we asked to push to a 2022 reception instead, they were very flexible. Then for our 2022 event, I don't know what we would've done without them. We had tons of moving parts, particularly around COVID protocols for our event in late January 2022, but they took care of everything with the vendors and served as an incredible resource and sounding board for us when we had questions about COVID (thanks to their diligence, we had no cases from the wedding!), seating charts, and anything else. Through constant emails, spreadsheet updates, and texts, we always knew what was happening, but weren't overwhelmed by it since we didn't have to be in the thick of it.

    They were increeeedibly responsive, but more importantly, were a fantastic, positive presence during a stressful time. I'm particularly grateful for them the week of our wedding, when a snowstorm hit and they stepped in to juggle switched out band members and other snow-induced issues.

    No exaggeration, they were 100% the best money we spent for our wedding! Thank you Lauren, Lauren, Katherine and team for everything!

    Book TGT immediately!!!

    Hiring Lauren and her team, including Julie, our day-of coordinator, for our Brooklyn wedding was easily the best money we spent on our wedding. Because we weren't having a super formal or big wedding (~120 guests), we were sort of on the fence about whether it made sense to have a month-of coordinator. I’m soooo glad we did because we actually got to enjoy our lives and each other’s company for the month before the wedding, and have an amazing day on the actual day of the wedding, instead of spending every waking moment dealing with vendors/email correspondence/etc. It was so nice to just have weekly “homework” before the wedding - Julie handled all the correspondence and last-minute details with the vendors, and all we had to do was make some decisions. She also managed to handle everything that came up the day of the wedding, in particular one of our buses breaking down, so smoothly that we never even found out about it until after the wedding. We truly felt like guests at our own wedding, which I don’t think everyone can say. Can’t recommend The Get Together Co. more!! (PS: Lauren also helped us reschedule our entire wedding during the pandemic, which was SO valuable to us. It made it so that we could just get excited for the new date, rather than having to worry about the details.)

    The Get Together Events

    Second only to my now husband, Justine was my absolute favorite person in the room at our wedding!!!!!! For the month leading in to our big day, Lauren handled every question, last minute call, and random hour of the day emails with patience and grace and when it finally all came together like a DREAM on November 6th, Justine was there from beginning to end, never missing a beat. Couldn’t have done it without them, best money spent

    Unbelievable.

    SAY YES IMMEDIATELY. I truly cannot say enough about Julie and the Get Together Events team. Since the first conversation, I knew I'd be hiring them. The personal detail and comfortability in every transaction immediately was off the charts - I felt so calm and taken care of and that feeling only continued throughout the time working with them. I had a wedding of 38 guests and debated the need for a planner but it was 100% the best decision I made. The day after our wedding my husband said "I can't believe Julie isn't a part of our lives anymore" and it was true! Without a doubt, no matter your wedding size or budget, hiring these amazing women will be the best decision you make.

    The best team ever

    TGT was the best money spent by far for my wedding! Lauren and Liz were an absolute DREAM to work with. It was such a relief once they were involved because they handled everything! They were fun to be around, so responsive, and answered the thousands of questions we had without issue. I’m sad the wedding is over because I won’t get to chat with Lauren and Liz everyday! Hire them for your wedding and you will not regret it!

    Hiring The Get Together Events Co. was hands down the best decision I made when it came to hiring vendors for my wedding! Working with Lauren was an absolute dream. Her energy is incredibly calm and comforting which was so refreshing during such a busy time. She really made me feel so understood and I had full trust that everything would be smooth by the wedding day. The day of my wedding I was able to breathe and take in as many little moments as I could because I knew that our day of coordinator had it all taken care of.     Couldn't have pulled it all off without them!

    We had a great experience with Lauren! In the weeks leading up to our wedding she was so organized and seamlessly kept us on track. When the wedding weekend came she was there to answer all our questions and wrangle the many moving pieces. I'm in awe of the patience, energy, and enthusiasm she showed all weekend.     The best of the best

    Where to start... thank you x1000 to Lauren and Lauren at The Get Together for running the smoothest day (and month of) for our recent wedding at the Wythe Hotel. All communications from first email to post-wedding follow up with Lauren were prompt, professional, and personable. She was especially gracious and accommodating to a covid postponement. The thorough attention to detail, organization, and shared documents let me feel involved, aware, yet taken care of. Day of - everything went flawless (at least from my perspective, which is all that matters)! Lauren Roth was our day-of manager and she was fantastic. She was right there when we needed her, yet otherwise working behind the scenes to keep on the timeline. She set up everything as planned, worked to pivot with last minute decisions, and we fully trusted her so that we could really enjoy the day. I couldn't recommend this team enough and would choose them again in a heartbeat!
