Wedding of our dreams!!!
Fernanda and her team at TMD went above and beyond to deliver us the wedding of our dreams! From the very beginning they were organized, thoughtful, and full of amazing ideas. Budgets and pricing for everything was super clear from day one and never strayed aside from a few items we wanted to splurge on. All of the vendors TMD recommended were stellar, and we truly feel like we got the best of the best! Our wedding weekend went off without a hitch and we heard from many guests that it was the best wedding they had been to. TMD was so accommodating, fun, and showed incredible taste with every touch. We cannot recommend them enough! -

If I could give Tailor Made Dreams ten stars, I would. We recently got back from our wedding in Tulum this past December, and I am still floating. Planning a destination wedding for 140 guests from the US could have been a logistical nightmare, but for 16 months, Fernanda, Yoni, and their incredible team made it feel completely effortless.
From the very first moment I met Fernanda, I knew she was the planner for us. We clicked instantly; she has this calming energy that immediately made me feel like I could trust her with such a huge life moment. She truly listened to my vision and kept me sane throughout the entire process.
And then there is Yoni. His style and taste are simply impeccable. He has an eye for detail that is hard to find, and he elevated every single idea I had into something more sophisticated and editorial. Together, they are the ultimate power couple of wedding planning.

Dream wedding in Tulum!
We cannot recommend Fernanda and her team at Tailor Made Dreams enough. Planning a destination wedding in Tulum could have been overwhelming, but Fernanda made the entire experience feel calm, organized, and truly enjoyable from beginning to end.
When our wedding days arrived, everything flowed beautifully. We were able to fully relax, be present, and soak in every moment knowing Fernanda had everything handled. All the vendors she recommended were extremely professional and understood our vision perfectly! -

We had the pleasure of working with Fernanda, Yoni and Martina for our wedding in Tulum in December 2024. We started our planning process almost a year in advance from Australia, and the team were incredible at setting up times to meet to talk logistics, and meet our vendors.
We can't emphasise enough how much help they gave us as planners, translators and friends during our 18 month process. Not only did they take the time to meet with us when we visited our venue the year prior, they were integral in our wedding day to make sure we didn't panic!

Simply the Best
I can't say enough great things about working with TMD! With planning a destination wedding all the way from Seattle we wanted to ensure we had reliable partners on the ground in Playa del Carmen and that is precisely what we got with TMD. We interviewed several wedding planners but the minute we hung up the interview call with Fernanda, we knew we found our match :)
From the moment we started planning with the trio, they were incredibly communicative and made sure we were always in the loop with every detail. Fernanda, Martina and Yoni are so friendly, organized, and genuinely made the whole process feel as stress-free as possible. We were especially impressed with the fantastic selection of vendors they provided - every one of them was top-notch and matched our style perfectly. Our wedding day went off without a hitch, and it’s all thanks to their expertise and dedication. They even took care of the planning and coordination for our welcome party and day trips around PDC.

Working with Tailor Made Dreams was the best decision we could have made when deciding to move forward with a destination wedding.
Fernanda and her team have all of their bases covered — they know the Riviera Maya area like the back of their hand, have personal relationships with all vendors, have experience across all types of weddings, have a fantastic eye for design, are extremely detail oriented, and incredibly responsive.
Any time I wanted to jump on a call or had a quick question, I got a response within minutes (and I had MANY questions). Not only this, but they’re simply amazing, kind people who I enjoyed speaking with consistently.
They were able to help me craft an incredible three days of events and were with me every step of the way.
As someone who initially thought I could plan a wedding myself, I can very confidently say I would never have been able to. The amount of thought and attention this team put into our special day was truly unmatched. I wish I could get married over again just to work with this amazing team again.

My new husband and I are so grateful to have had TMD with us from the very beginning of our wedding planning journey. We are from Texas, and because of my very busy job, finding a wedding planner to keep us on track was my first priority. You’ll find many reviewers talking about how they knew Fernanda would be their planner from their first phone call, and I was no different! From the beginning, Fernanda and her team, including our lead planner, Yoni, were so responsive, professional, friendly, and had a beautiful, kind energy about them we knew we could trust. Saying “yes” to her within a few weeks of getting engaged was an easy decision.
Even with my busy job, Yon, Fernanda, and their team made wedding planning easy and fun the entire way through. From the beginning, they had a timeline of what action items we would be taking care of every month leading up to our wedding, so the planning journey was always on a good pace—we never felt behind or overwhelmed, and always knew what to expect next! They took care of all the communication and coordination with vendors, who were all absolutely first-rate. Our photographer selections, for example, were a mix of reputable/more budget friendly local/international photographers to extremely renowned photographers who shoot for Vogue/high-profile individuals regularly. I contacted other planners in Cancun who were charging more than 2x as much as TMD, and these planners used many of the exact same vendors for rentals, makeup, catering, and florals. They are truly full-service and managed every detail of our wedding weekend, so we barely had to worry about anything, including choosing a resort for our wedding block (and arranging meetings to tour each one), planning our welcome party/rehearsal dinner, arranging for transportation to/from the venue, and Martina even offered to help our guests plan excursions.
I loved collaborating with Yoni on bringing our vision to life. You can absolutely trust his creative eye. He closely studied all the Instagram/Pinterest posts I sent him throughout the year to get a sense of my vibe and his suggestions were so helpful to me and my husband in making decisions about décor. Like all planners, TMD has preferred vendors they frequently work with, but Yoni always identified for me which ones seemed to fit my style the best, so I never felt like I was receiving a standard set of recommendations given to every client. He was so thoughtful in making selections for us. For example, he knew we got engaged in a greenhouse and recommended a ceremony arch for us in a greenhouse shape. If we needed to see more options and pricing information to make a decision on anything, he’d always reconnect with the vendor and circle back with us with the information we needed very quickly.
The wedding itself was a dream come true, and several of our guests said it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to! The DJ/band that TMD found for us kept the party going all night and the attentive service of Taller Gourmet was above and beyond anything I’ve experienced. The waitstaff took note of everyone seated at their assigned tables for dinner and circulated the dance floor all night making sure those people always had a drink in hand, which avoided any lines at the bar. Many of our guests commented on how pampered they felt!
To our friends at TMD - We will miss having you in our lives on a regular basis, but we cannot thank you enough for giving us a wedding more beautiful than we could have ever dreamed of. We will not hesitate to recommend you to anyone else planning a wedding in Riviera Maya. -

I interviewed a handful of wedding planners, but as soon as I hung up from my Zoom call with Fernanda, I knew she was the one. Even before we made the final decision to use TMD, Fernanda immediately got to work providing us with helpful information. Her response time is impeccable. She always provided very clear communication and clearly explained the process. I left so comfortable and at ease with her right away, I knew I could trust her. And she did not disappoint throughout the entire process - and the process began 15 months before our wedding. Any questions I had about Tulum, travel, etc. I knew I could ask Fernanda and feel confident in her instruction/direction. Yoni and Martina were also complete delights! True professionals. I was never left waiting for a reply - they are so on top of things! Wedding Day came and a tropical storm hit Tulum - Fernanda and the team eased my worries and worked through every obstacle. A wedding is a life-defining moment for everybody. Choosing someone to coordinate, let alone planning and having your wedding out of the country, is an extreme challenge. Our wedding planner group, Tailor Made Dream, proved to be an excellent choice for our wedding. As a couple from Boston, we recognized our lack of knowledge regarding the best vendors and overall wedding planning and sought help accordingly. After conducting several vendor interviews, we were immediately drawn to Fernanda and TMD within minutes of our first call. Fernanda’s warm personality and ability to comfort us were tremendous. The team at Tailor Made Dream provided us with exceptional service, and we are grateful for their assistance in making our wedding day a success.
Fernanda, Martina, and Yon demonstrated exceptional professionalism, attentive service, and an amazing eye for detail. They took great care to understand our unique vision and goals for the event, recognizing that it held significant meaning beyond a typical wedding day. From the moment we had our first meeting with Fernanda from Tailor Made Dreams we knew we found our Wedding Planner. Anyone who knows me knows that I have a very discerning eye and expect the best when it comes to service and hospitality because I have worked in those very field myself. I interviewed 5 planners before landing with TMD- Fer totally got me from day 1 and not only was the wedding day a dream but so was the entire planning process!
Fer and Yon divided and conquered wedding duties according to each of their strengths- it made for a very seamless experience. I had an idea of what I wanted and Yon helped to bring that whole idea into reality with a vision board and a whole bevy of vendors who were not only professional and experienced, but also came with TMD's personal recommendation. When the original photographer that I wanted was not available, TMD found another that actually ended up working out even better than I could have ever imagined- we only have a sneak peek so far of our photos and they are just as incredible as we were promised.
TMD's support extended beyond our wedding day and Yon helped us secure transport to and from our next stop on the trip- to San Miguel de Allende. He provided tons of amazing recs and contacts- we felt safe and looked after on wedding weekend and even afterwards. Both my husband and I are all about relationships and people and through this experience we'd like to think we've made lifelong friends and hope to stay in touch. -

Fernanda and her team are absolutely amazing. My husband and I are from the U.S. and decided we wanted to bring our 90 guests to Cancun for our destination wedding. From the first kick-off call with Fer, we knew we had to hire her. We immediately got the sense that she was communicative, honest, super fun, and would get things done. She and her team didn’t disappoint!
Fer, Martina, and Yonathan helped to align on a vision for the wedding, and they brought on some of the best vendors to make both the welcome party and wedding day happen. Choosing Fer and Yoni as our coordinators was the best decision we made for our wedding. Wedding planning was last on my mind with everything I had going on at home and they kept me on track and organized. Fernanda and Yoni are gems! Planning a destination wedding can be hard enough but throw a pandemic on top of that and add in postponement – you need planners working with you that you can trust, who are understanding and have your back – Fernanda and Yoni are just that! From the first moment me and my husband spoke with Fernanda, we had an immediate “good vibes” feeling – we are happy, excited and positive people and Fernanda and Yoni were the same! Fernanda was an absolute joy to work with and through everything she does, she makes you feel like her favorite couple. We had the fortune of working with Fernanda as our day-of coordinator for over 2 years, due to several COVID-related date changes. Throughout all of those changes, Fernanda kept studious detail of our evolving needs and provided invaluable advice along the way (including putting her expert decor sense to work!). Dealing with vendors and the many moving parts of the wedding day are a major undertaking - of course, this only gets more complex when the couple is planning a destination wedding. Because of that, it was invaluable to have Fernanda as our boots on the ground, and biggest advocate, when coordinating with vendors. Fernanda’s detailed knowledge of the Tulum wedding ecosystem made her particularly effective at knowing when to be firm and when to be sweet to vendors in order to get the job done. More than that, Fernanda is simply a warm person. During our planning trip to Tulum and when we arrived for the wedding, Fernanda greeted us with hugs and a familiarity that made us forget that most of our relationship took place on the phone. Even when discussing business, Fernanda was always genuinely interested in learning more about us as a couple. We had long-distance planned a small 30 person wedding in Tulum for Dec 18th. We did most of the vendor research, and booking - but needed someone for the day of for coordination and such. So we decided to hire Fernanda and Yoni. One of the best decisions we made for our wedding! While I consider myself super organized and sufficient, I'm, of course, not a professional. They continuously followed up with me as the days got closer and organized details that I didn't think of. Their communication is spot on throughout the process, and in MX, they were just a whatsapp message away.
As a very anxious person, I so appreciate that they made me feel so at ease on the day of. They really were behind the scenes, making everything seamless.
Fernanda and Yoni are also incredibly sweet, down to earth and they really do everything in their power to make sure you enjoy your day and everything happens the way you want. They're just great people.
Even if you need just a day of coordinator - just book them! You won't regret it, I promise.

I contacted Tailor Made Dreams in 2019 and due to Covid finally got married 9/4! Fer and Yoni would wonderful throughout the whole process. They were helpful, knowledgeable, and patient as we figured out to do during the height of covid and postponing our wedding.

Fernanda and Yoni helped my husband and I have our dream wedding!! It was truly the best day of both of our lives. She was quick to respond to my every need and was so patient and kind to me through all the stress of wedding planning. Even two days before my wedding she was able to get me a gorgeous last minute tent to cover to rain so my party could have a good time! Everyone said it was the best time! Oli & Raxx - April 2019
Olivia & I got married at Villa la Joya in Playa Del Carmen in April 2019. We visited the venue once and met Fernanda and Yonatan once as well. Being in the industry we were very picky and hopefully not too demanding! Dealing with these two from start to finish was a dream. Any question was dealt with immediately and same with any concerns. Anything price-related was always broken down to ease our minds. Anything that we didn't want was removed very quickly. Curveballs were thrown at us left right and centre and Fernanda and Yonatan caught them all for us and we fixed everything. Love these two and can't wait to throw another party in Playa! xo -

I found Tailor Made Dreams through my research on Weddingwire. I was reaching out to 5 different planning services and Fernanda was the first one to respond back to introduce herself and wanted to schedule a phone call with me as soon as possible. I was newly engaged at the time and did not have a clear idea what I wanted for my wedding. And to top it off, I was trying to plan a wedding in Mexico while physically being in New York. All of the online wedding research was overwhelming but when Fernanda quickly responded to my information request, I felt a sense of assurance that she would be the person to help guide me through this process. Fernanda is very assertive , ALWAYS on time, responsive, responsible and I knew from after our conversation on the phone that she was the person that I wanted as my planner. My and fiancé scheduled a trip to Playa del Carmen shortly after to meet with Fernanda and her business partner Yonathan. We did a menu tasting, bridal makeup and hair trial and venue visits. My friends and family were impressed and surprised how quickly I was able to lock everything down and got to try out hair and makeup! I wouldn't have been able to do this all by myself without the help of Tailor Made dreams.
Throughout our 10 months planning process, Yony was our main contact and helped us hire vendors we would need and the details of the wedding day. He was always responsive and answered all of our many questions and would always be mindful when to send us a reminder of tasks in order to move forward in the process. This was so helpful because even though I was planning a wedding, I was also busy with daily life and his reminders would help me stay on track to get things done. The whole planning process was seamless and Tailor made dreams always did all they could to make things easier for me. Our wedding day was phenomenal and everything that my husband and I wanted. Wedding days are always so hectic and stressful but I felt relaxed and assured because I had Yony there to coordinate the entire event. He showed up early in the day and stayed until the very end and always had a smile on his face. This might not sound like much right now but when you are the bride and you feel the pressure of getting lots of things done but you cannot leave your chair while you are getting ready; this meant a world of difference to me. I was able to enjoy my day fully knowing that Yony was there to assist and help no matter what.
We had an obstacle with our venue where they claimed there was damage to one of their walls during the wedding which Tailor Made Dreams quickly took full responsibility for. I was so impressed and grateful that they did this because we were made aware of this occurrence weeks after the wedding but still Tailor stepped in when it was the right thing to do and did not leave us in the cold. This only enforced my confidence and trust in Fernanda and Yony.
I highly recommend hiring Tailor Made Dreams for their wedding services. Fernanda and Yony are sincere and honest people and they are here to help assist and guide you through the process and you will never feel like you have to do it all by yourself and end up feeling overwhelmed and stressed. All of our guests were so impressed with our wedding and still talk about it to this day!

The BEST Team!!!
Fernanda and Yoni were incredible to work with!! They seamlessly guided us through the sometimes challenging process of planning a wedding from afar, and created an absolutely amazing day for us.
You will not find a nicer, more dedicated pair to help plan your wedding. Fernanda was always available and in constant contact via WhatsApp. She and the team went above and beyond and worked with us through the entire process from picking a venue to negotiating with vendor to fit our budget, to driving us to our catering tasting, to a absolutely flawless day of coordination. No question was too small and no problem was too big, and we always knew that we were in good hands.
The vendors she recommended were incredible. The flowers were perfect, our food and drinks were better than we could ask for (the margaritas! the CEVICHE!!) and service was amazing- no one was without drink or assistance ever! Our wedding guests are still telling us that it was the most beautiful wedding they've been to, and I give all the credit to Fer and team for making that happen. We were literally in awe when we first saw our venue all set up.
Most importantly, we were not stressed on the day of our wedding. Everything was completely handled, we didn't need to do any vendor coordination at all, and if anything went wrong that day, we still have no clue because Fer and the team were there to take care of any issues.
I cannot stress enough how great our experience was with Fernanda. We could not have pulled it off with out Tailor Made Dreams!! -

From our first meeting, I knew that Fernanda was the right person to help us with our BIG day. She was very organized & friendly during our meetings and understood our taste right away. We live in California so having Fernanda and her team doing all the work for us in Mexico (specifically in Playa del Carmen) made our life easy, I seriously can’t imagine not having them during the whole process, they have a lot of experience and gave us a lots of cool ideas for the wedding & the rehearsal dinner. They went an extra mile for us, She ironed my dress the day before the wedding because I forgot to do it, They got the venue We wanted for the rehearsal dinner within the budget (which I thought It wouldn’t be possible), she works with an amazing Chef that people in my family still talks about how wonderful the food was. Another thing that I appreciate a lot was she was constantly in touch with both of us to remind us of things we needed to do and always made herself available for a chat or a meeting. If you are looking for someone to assist with planning your special day, I honestly cannot recommend Fernanda and Yoni highly enough. Thank you thank you thank you -

Fernanda and Yoni worked with my husband and I for about a year to help us plan our dream destination wedding. They came well reviewed but we had obviously never worked with a wedding planner before and had no idea what to expect. From the moment Fernanda picked us up at Cancun airport Feb 2018, to our wedding day in Jan 2019, we knew we were in good hands. This team has been phenomenal. They are efficient, professional, have amazing contacts in Riviera Maya, understands and works with your vision, patient, organized, flexible, creative, and, most of all, passionate about helping couples realize the most magical day of their lives.
Planning a destination wedding, we had no idea how things would turn out when we arrived in Mexico but we put our trust completely in Fer and Yoni that they had everything under control. When we arrived on our wedding day to the venue, everything went flawlessly. Everyone was blown away by the beauty of our venue, decorations, violinist, 4 course meal with late snack churro and taco bar, professional waiters, and amazing DJ. Our guests truly had an amazing time at our wedding and could not stop raving about it. The vendors that Fer and Yoni recommended were all fantastic. When we went over budget, Fer and Yoni helped us find ways to reduce the cost while still keeping the aspects of the wedding that were most important to us. When I didn't love my first make-up trial, they quickly recommended a different make-up artist that suited my style. I didn't get a chance to meet her until the rehearsal dinner since I didn't return to Cancun after the initial meeting but, since Fer and Yoni understood what I wanted, her team also ended up executing my perfect look.
I could go on and on about the Tailor Made Dream Team but don't take my word for it. Meet them yourself and fall in love with them immediately like we did. They are worth every penny you spend and much much more. We are honored to call Fer and Yoni our friends and we cannot thank them enough for planning the greatest night of our lives! -

Not only was she the wedding planner, she also assisted with the rehearsal dinner, welcome party and a party sunday after the wedding all for 130 guests! Elin Sent on 02/05/2018We´ve been together for 22 years and have two kids, 20 and 13 years old. We decided last summer to spend our Christmas vacation in Cancún and in the fall we started talking about the idea of getting married in Cancún since we had been thinking about it for a few years.
When we finally decided to go ahead with it, it was quite a short notice and we had little time to plan before we got to Cancún but Fernanda, our wedding planner, was fantastic and made everything really easy and simple for us. She took care of everything and always responded fast when we had some questions whether it was regarding our wedding or just our vacation.
We had a small wedding ceremony at the beach at Ammaris Beach Club, just the four of us in the family, the judge, Fernanda, the witnesses and the photographer. Fernanda managed to make the moment really beautiful and memorable for us.
We couldn't have been happier with Fernanda´s work and we really recommend her service, she is so warm and friendly and she absolutely exceeded our expectations by making us feel special and like everything was customised to our wishes.
This was absolutely one of the best days of our lives, thank you so much our dear Fernanda <3

Furthermore, our main concern was that we were far away and didn't know how the wedding would turn out but she made sure everything worked out perfectly and looked out for our interests every step of the way, negotiating with vendors and looking after the price/quality in all the things we wanted. We were so surprised by how absurdly beautiful everything turned out to be the day of the wedding. We were beyond pleased and all the guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to!

It was not simple, but Fernanda was able to pull it off without a hitch. Everyone loved the Wedding and people are still saying it was one of the best they had ever attended.

This is quite frankly the most slam dunk and easiest recommendation or reference I’ve ever given anyone. My wife and I had never planned a wedding before, and Fernanda was such an amazing asset to us, especially while planning the wedding from a far (we live in Chicago and got married in Playa del Carmen), and having to move the wedding date twice due to the pandemic. We commented a number of times that there is absolutely no way we could’ve done this without her help. While we’re happy to have the wedding behind us and continue on with our lives, we both feel that there’s a sense of loss and not having regular communications with Fernanda, who became a great friend during this process.
Fernanda took the time to understand our vision, our preferences of where we wanted to prioritize funding (band and photographer), how we wanted the day to go, how to incorporate different cultural and religious backgrounds (my husband and I grew up in two different faiths and she worked hard to ensure she understood and coordinated elements of both throughout the weekend). Her relationships with various vendors in the region, all of whom we found through her, proved to be exceptional. We loved everything, from the florist, band, photographer, a specialty caterer, furniture rental, etc.
Fernanda is incredibly friendly and professional, and worked hard on our behalf when negotiating with vendors. She was truly a great advocate for us.
Our recommendation would be to sign her as quickly as possible and not look back. You’ll be glad you did. -

Working with the Tailor Made Dreams team was unfortunately incredibly stressful. They were not organized and messed up on several things during the wedding planning process and on our wedding day. Honestly it's hard seeing such positive reviews from other people, it feels like they dropped the ball for us and did not prioritize us. The wedding was beautiful and there was so much that went right, but it was really hard to overlook the things that went wrong and as we've reflected on our wedding, it is disappointing that we had this experience and I do feel like it's my responsibility to give an honest review because we hired Fernanda and her team after seeing such positive reviews.
