Absolutely amazing!!

Tammy was absolutely incredible and truly went above and beyond throughout our entire wedding planning process. We chose the partial planning package and as an out-of-state bride it ended up being an absolute dream. Tammy handled so much more than we ever expected and was always just a phone call away whenever we had questions or needed guidance.
She gave us amazing vendor recommendations and being able to use some of her decor items was incredibly helpful, especially planning from out of state. Every vendor immediately felt at ease when they heard we were working with Tammy because they knew everything would be organized and taken care of.
On the wedding day itself, everything went off perfectly. Tammy made our day even more beautiful than we could have imagined and I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. She handled it all so we could just enjoy every moment. We truly could not have done it without her. Tammy helped us plan and execute our dream wedding, and we are so grateful for everything she did!

10 out of 10. Tammy is a superstar.

Tammy (the head of Special Moments) is a logistics queen. She planned my cousin's wedding with 365 people (!) and it was one of the smoothest/most fun weddings I've ever been to. This is why we booked her - I knew she'd be able to nail our big fat 300-person wedding with ease.

And that she did! Tammy is an expert and spinning a lot of plates without neglecting anything. No detail was forgotten, no stone was unturned - I truly think this is why our wedding was such a hit. Guests had the best time and never had to worry about where they were supposed to be or what was supposed to be happening. It was a day and night of nonstop fun, and that was all because of Tammy. I'm extremely Type-A organized and Tammy makes me look like a season finale of Hoarders in comparison. She is the best and I felt calm my whole wedding day knowing that the event was in great, capable hands.

Breathe easy with Tammy!

Tammy was fantastic to work with! She made the planning process so much easier and listened to our vision for the wedding. Tammy respected our budget and would recommend 3-4 vendors in every category for my son and his fiancé to consider. As the mother of the groom I expected I would be stressed out the day of the wedding. Instead, I was relaxed and enjoyed the wedding taking in every special moment. Incredible, so thankful.

Tammy and her staff made our wedding everything we could ask for. When we initially met with Tammy we were very overwhelmed and she simplified the process. She provided us with some amazing vendors. Her process was very detailed oriented and we were able to think of everything ahead of time to make the day amazing for our guests and for us! Our wedding day was smooth and flawless. Since our wedding I’ve suggested Tammy and her team to several friends and will continue to do so!

Great experience!

Being an out of state bride to be is hard….and planning that wedding out of state more than 1100 miles away is even harder. I did a lot of research when looking for a wedding planner as I knew trying to do it on my own would not be the best idea. Special Moments stuck out to me when I found them. I was able to set up an intro call with Tammy, which was extremely helpful. She was honest, told me what I could expect, what they could do for me, and comforted me with the fact that she has helped plan A TON of out of state weddings. Based on that conversation, we absolutely picked Special Moments to help us make our big day possible. We selected the partial planning package and let me tell you, that was the perfect option for us! We hit some bumps in the road as we were planning but Tammy constantly reassured us that everything would be fine and made sure of that! She helped us find hotel blocks, created our seating chart and name tags, let us ship several items to her warehouse for the rehearsal dinner, and more! She is extremely responsive, detail oriented, and passionate about making your vision come to life. I have told everyone that our wedding day went absolutely perfect and if anything went wrong, I had no idea! It was truly the most smooth day and I attribute a lot of that to Tammy’s guidance! I can’t recommend the services enough!

Wonderful and professional

I don't even know where to start but when we were looking for a wedding planner, we didn't know who will do a good job. My fiancé, now my wife, found special moments and spoke to Tammy. I don't stress but my wife and her mom were stressing and feeling overwhelmed, however, Tammy assured us that everything will be under control and that she will make sure that the wedding ceremony and reception will go smoothly and according to plan. She gave us all the help we needed, not just her, but her team as well. I recommend special moments 110% to anyone looking for a wedding planner. They will help out couples every step of the way. TAMMY WAS AMAZING! She was so extremely helpful from start to finish. She thought of things we wouldn't have thought of in a million years. She was so thorough and detailed. For example, she put together a timeline of everything from start to finish down to the minute. It was extremely impressive and allowed us to not have a worry in the world. With so many things to do (especially on a destination wedding), she made it possible for us to truly soak in every moment not only during the special day but also the days leading up to it. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Tammy. Tammy was absolutely perfect.

A deep well of experience and negotation skills

Special Moments was invaluable for finding great vendors and allowing us to comparison shop. We feel like we saved money and an extraordinary time in a year when inflation problems had peaked. Specifically, she answered the phone or returned calls promptly, conveyed her experiences wisely, and negotiated with vendors where needed. We walked in to the reception after a Nuptial Mass and everything was beautiful and ready, allowing us to enjoy the celebration. We have two more daughters and would use Special Moments again.

Best wedding planner ever!

One word…. Phenomenal! If you want a dream wedding planner for your dream wedding, Tammy is the one you want. Every bride and mother of the bride needs a planner and coordinator who can not only help with every little detail but knows every detail to include. Tammy is over the top organized, calm, professional, and respected. She even kept us within budget and saved us money!

With greater than 20 years of experience in Florida, she has developed fabulous relationships with amazing, experienced vendors. And these vendors love working with her too and they tell you how fantastic she is! She led us to amazing vendors, guided us through contracts, helped us see what worked, what would be more challenging to make happen, and how the brides vision could come true.

Oh, and let me tell you about COMMUNICATION… she’s phenomenal here as well. We chatted by phone, email, texts, and it was so nice to create a list of questions and ideas and send them off to Tammy knowing the response would be calming and full of great answers.
Even with her packed schedule of weddings and events, we always felt like we were her priority. Of course, I’m certain she makes every bride feel that way, but it was a wonderful feeling just being able to say, “oh let’s ask Tammy for help with that” and know it was off our plates.

Tammy has been the wedding planner of choice for us in two separate weddings (my son's in 2021 and my daughter's April 2023) and we hope she continues to create amazing events with us in the future. She’s simply the very BEST! If you want the most amazing planner… hire her!

Can't say enough good things

WOW! Tammy and her team are top notch. Seriously, look no further for a planner. Tammy made sure our event was FLAWLESS! We had our wedding at The Sandpearl in Clearwater Beach. She came to our menu tasting with us, made a super detailed timeline for us and family members. She also provided flower girl baskets, ring bearer box, unplugged ceremony sign, memorial table sign, table numbers, cake cutter, cake stand, clear paper holders for our seating chart and it added so much value to our event. She helped with all logistics at the rehearsal and day of, asked questions and made suggestions that we didn't even think about. Her and her team moved the gifts from the ceremony location to the reception to our hotel room without question. She got all of our memorial pictures, leftover cake and even my veil up to our room without us even seeing them do anything. We did not have to deal with any confusion about table numbers, chairs or seating arrangements the night of our wedding. Without her, our night would have been much more complicated. We are more them appreciative of Tammy and her team. I would hire them again and again. 100 / 10 would recommend.

The best in the business!

I'd seriously give them 6 stars if I could. From the very moment Tammy agreed to meet us at the last minute, to the end of the reception, Special Moments went above and beyond. Planning a destination can be stressful but their communication and recommendations were exceptional from start to finish. Tammy has a lot of connections in the area, and it made it so much easier for us. Our coordinator, Brittany, made sure everything was perfect. She kept us on schedule and took care of all the vendor coordination for us. I'd highly recommend anyone that is getting married to hire a coordinator, it's someone you know will always have your back and best interest. They even decorated our suite at the end of the night for us which we had no idea, but greatly appreciated. They truly make you feel special.

Absolutely Incredible!

My husband and I were married on 5/21/2022. Two months before our wedding our original coordinator backed out. I was so incredibly stressed out. Tammy came very highly recommended so I called her and felt immediate relief. Having never hired a coordinator before I realized that the original person I was working with had no clue what they were doing. Tammy & Brittany were on top of everything ensuring that our wedding day went without any hiccups. They worked with all of my vendors and for the first time in over a year, I felt helped. The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect, Brittany was a literal angel and was there for everything and anything we needed. There wasn't one stressful moment on that day and I honestly couldn't be more thankful or speak any higher of these two women and the company itself. Hiring Special Moments as my wedding planner service was the best decision I could have made. Tammy was available at all times to answer my questions and help me with ALL of the wedding details (there are A LOT!) She is incredibly dedicated to her work and makes you feel like your wedding is special, despite the number of weddings she might be planning at once. Tammy was beyond amazing! She helped me plan my wedding in 3 months. It was a destination wedding for us so there were events 3 straight days. I can’t begin to express how great she was in helping me find vendors, keeping me organized, keeping me sane, asking questions I never knew to ask and making our wedding weekend incredible from top to bottom. She was patient when my OCD kicked in, and had amazing ideas and handled all of the logistics (of which there were many because our Friday night dinner was offsite and our ceremony and reception were in 2 different places). And all of the vendors she recommended were equally amazing.

Stress free best decision you can make !

Tammy, Jennifer and Melissa DID IT ALL ! Personally I have a hard time planning anything in my life so I knew I needed assistance. After talking to Tammy I knew they had my back! She step by step helped me hire everyone needed who she knew was amazing! She was in contact with all of our vendors so I didn’t have to worry a bit !
Our wedding caused us ZERO stress ! I also sent her my guest list and she did all of our invites and rsvp’s! Our wedding was the best day of just enjoying the moment. I had no other worries and really that’s what an amazing planner can provide for you ! She provides so many things like table numbers, card box, welcome signs etc. that in the end you save money that you would have wasted on a one time use. If your wanting to enjoy the months, days, and all moments of your wedding work with these ladies truly the BEST! We cannot thank them enough. Our guests still say it was the best wedding ! The best decision I made for our wedding

I would have been lost without Tammy and her team. They were there every step of the way and made my day absolutely perfect! I highly recommend Special Moments. Tammy is available pretty much 24/7 for event the simplest of tasks or questions. She has connections, suggestions and ideas I could have not done without. I literally had no idea what I wanted for my big day and
I was a nervous, stressed out wreck. We also had family issues, covid-19 issues and changes the VERY last second and they handled with ease! My day could have not been any better and hiring Tammy and her team was more than worth every cent! Thank you so much for making my day an absolute dream :-)

Special Moments was a dream to work with!

After unfortunate postponements of our wedding due to COVID, my husband and I decided that having a planner would ease our stress. After extensive internet searching, I found Special Moments. To say they were a dream to work with is an understatement. Destination weddings come with inevitable obstacles, so hiring Tammy was the best decision we made and was worth every cent. Tammy and her team were responsive, kind, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about things we hadn't even considered before hiring a planner. When there were bumps in the planning process (even on the day of the wedding), the Special Moments team went above and beyond to handle everything we needed. The stress level of the months before the wedding and the day-of drastically reduced, and I was completely comfortable knowing they were there to help. From small details like seating charts and welcome bags, to managing the wedding party during rehearsals and the day-of timeline, they were there for us. Great planner with great advice

Tammy and her team assisted our family with two weddings this year. If you want someone who is extremely knowledgeable and organized this is who you need. Special Moments Events Planning was especially helpful during this year, as we had three different wedding dates due to Covid. Tammy was recommended by our wedding venue and she did not disappoint. She will communicate with all your vendors and set up an itemized timeline for your wedding day that she shares with your vendors and your wedding party. This makes you able to enjoy the wedding because all the details are taken care of for you.

Special Moments Event Planning has everything needed to create the wedding of your dreams; whether it is vendor recommendations, decorations, arches, emotional support, etiquette questions, hotel blocks, wedding invitations, doing the bustle for your dress, honeymoon planning, etc., she has it all! Jennifer is amazing with graphic design and creates beautiful custom wedding signs, programs, menus, gift bag tags, and more! I can not begin to say enough about this company.
With almost 3 weeks left to our wedding, Tammy and Jennifer and her assistants did EVERYTHING to make our day EASY, BREEZY and BEAUTIFUL.
Jennifer listened to EVERYTHING we said, and she put it all into action. She was responsive to EVERYTHING, she was in constant contact with us and made sure that OUR needs were met, and they were absolutely met!!!!!
They're inexpensive, and they are worth MUCH MUCH more.
I highly recommend this company for ANY wedding or party planning.

Absolutely amazing

I cannot say enough about how amazing Tammy and her team are to work with. Planning a wedding is not easy, and planning one during a pandemic was its own sort of crazy. Tammy worked around the clock to make sure our wedding was safe and successful. Her and the team went above and beyond making sure our safety protocols were in place and to be that support system we needed. We got married in June, and while we were taking pictures outside, Kathy was out there with us providing cold waters and a cooling fan in between shots. Everything they did was top notch and professional, including recommending some amazing vendors to work with. Our wedding day was perfect and Tammy and team pulled it off seamlessly. Thank you Special Moments Team for everything you did for us!

Absolutely Amazing!

I cannot say enough about how absolutely amazing Tammy was, I would recommend her x100! Not only does she have a thorough knowledge of the industry, great relationships with vendors and venues, but she is on top of every detail from start to finish. She works with with you on what level of assistance that you need and goes from there. Everything was beautiful day of, even though Tammy always walks you through what to expect and has everything laid out in a schedule w/pictures, she was still able to throw in some surprises and just make our day that much better! Thank you Tammy for everything that you did to make our day a memorable one!

Hire them!

Tammy and her team have done both of my sister's weddings and there was never a question of who we were going to hire to do ours. Tammy worked with us every step of the way and then Mark and Jennifer were extraordinary the day of. Everything little thing we needed, they were there and had it. Throughout the whole night I felt like I always knew where at least one (if not both) of them were if I had a question, needed something, or a situation needed trouble shooting. I honestly cannot even say how much easier the wedding planning process was with Tammy's team and I can't imagine how we would have done it without them!

"Best Wedding I've Ever Been To" - Guest

Tammy and her team did an excellent job bringing all of the MANY details together for our wedding. Tammy's knowlede and expertise were invaluable to us as well as her recommendations along the way (DJ, photographer, florist, caterer and more). She listened to what we wanted and helped create and incredible "production"! And ON the wedding day....I don't know how we would have done it without her. She was hard at work putting up arches, coordinating caterers, setting up seating (and since we had the reception in the same place.... she had to set up the reception quickly as well). I am SO grateful to her for her hard work, expertise and professionalism. I would recommend her to ANYONE who wanted to have what many guests called "The Best Wedding Ever". It couldn't have been a better experience with her!

'Special Moments' Creates Truly Special Moments

A Wife and Husband would be 100 percent in good hands should they choose Special Moments. From the first meeting at the Special Moments office I (The Husband) felt like I was in good hands. Our venue was picked, yet all we had was the venue and ourselves. What we needed was a wedding planner and what we received through Special Moments were subject matter experts you had our back in every aspect of the wedding.

These wedding planners contribute so much of their time and energy that every payment that came out for their work I felt like it wasn't enough. Should you not have a DJ or photographer or florist, best believe these subject matter experts have the perfect suggestions to leave you having the best sleep you ever had. The day of our wedding, we felt as if we were royalty with nothing to worry about other than showing up and smiling.

The service we received was so special and hands on that we could re-live the moments over and over again. My Wife was extremely happy, and as a card swiper I was extremely content. In summary, if you have an upcoming Special Moment in your life, you need these planners in your life. And that's a fact.

Tammy Waterman - Special Moments - Excellent!

Tammy Waterman of Special Moments was recommended to us by our wedding cake maker. We live out of state and I was trying to plan the wedding on my own. Let me tell you - if you are planning a wedding from afar, you can't live without a wedding planner. I could have saved a lot of money if I had hired Tammy from the start as she has connections with a lot of vendors I didn't know about. Her help the day before and the day of the wedding was immeasurable. There's so much to think about and having a person there who has it all covered so you can relax and actually enjoy the day getting the bridal party ready and enjoying the reception was awesome. She also saved the day in so many ways...from making sure the gifts and gift cards were secure, getting us last minute linens when our linen provider had all of her linens ruined when the fire sprinkler went off. Making the table assignment placards. Loaning me a gift card basket. Coordinating all of my vendors. And then making sure the bridal party was in place at the right time and right place. The best part is she knows and has a relationship with all of the local vendors and they all work very well together. They each know their role - so you can step back and let them do their jobs. I was able to enjoy my daughter's receptions and actually spend time with our guests because Tammy was taking care of things before I was even aware they were happening. 100% recommend Tammy Waterman!

The best wedding planners... period.

If you are thinking of saving the expense of a wedding planner and trying to do it all yourself… DON’T!!

First, Special Moments are most affordable you will find for what they offer.

Second, it is well worth the expense to have expert wedding planners like Tammy and Petra take away all the stress on your wedding day so you can enjoy every minute of it… cause it goes by quick! I didn't even know the cops showed up in response to a noise complaint, or that my dad was late getting to the ceremony to walk me down the aisle! We never ran out of anything, and all the vendors did what they were hired to do, so we didn't need to manage a thing. We could just enjoy our special day with our family and friends.

Finally, whatever it costs to hire them, you will get every penny back through their excellent recommendations and vast inventory. They saved us thousands of dollars by recommending an amazing caterer at a per person cost that other vendors couldn’t believe he was charging. And their vast amount of decor inventory for every taste saved us hundreds of dollars on new decor – plus who wants the brain damage of having to sell it all on Craigslist after the wedding?

Petra is one of the hardest workers I know, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with the most important day of my life. She was on top of everything at all times, and the day could not have gone any smoother. And she deserves an Emmy for the most memorable part of our day – when she helped play a prank on our best man by telling him I wasn’t coming. Thank you Tammy and Petra for making sure our wedding was the fairytale wedding I had always dreamed of!

Special Moments exceeded our expectations from the very beginning. Hiring Special Moments as our wedding planner was hands down the best decision we made. My wife and I live in Fort Worth and chose to get married in Clearwater close to my family in Tampa. I could write an essay about how clutch Tammy was, but I think a few of the highlights will help you get the picture:
1.) Tammy is a wedding detail genius whose primary goal is to help figure out stuff you don't / can't figure out for yourself, and do come up with better solutions than you could. My wife is a doctor with insane hours, I work long hours as well, and we were remote, so this was huge. If you're the type of person that has the time to figure out every last detail, great - Tammy will hustle to handle all administrative and organizational tasks. If you (like us) don't care to figure out and own every little last detail, Tammy is even more amazing.
2.) Every vendor automatically likes you better when they learn you're working with Tammy. Don't underestimate this. In the wedding universe of emotionally charged bridezillas and groomzillas, vendors will be relieved to know they are working with someone like Tammy who will at least have your act together for you. It's makes you easier to deal with in their eyes, they they treat you better as a result.
3.) I was willing to accept and fully expected that we would forget something, that some little or medium-sized consideration would be overlooked, and my wife and I were at peace with this fact of life. Well, in truth we would have missed 6,174 little things, 257 medium-sized things, and 1 or 2 big things without Tammy. Because we had Tammy -- I am not exaggerating here -- every last thing was handled. My wife and I could not think of a single detail that got missed, and it's because Tammy is a hustler and awesome person.
4.) Tammy is cool and should charge 5x what she charges. She has personality, spunk, and doesn't beat around the bush (which was awesome for me).

Tammy was the absolute perfect option for what we were looking for. Hire her - you won't regret it.

We hired Tammy and her staff at Special Moments a little over a month out from our wedding. We were stressing out about how we were going to bring our decorations for the ceremony and the reception table centerpieces to the wedding venue and then bring them back home for our destination wedding. We decided to talk to Tammy and she created a custom package for us so that we would be able to choose from the vast amount of decorations she had and use those decorations for our wedding instead of having to ship them or buy all of them the weekend of our wedding. That was only one way Tammy saved us and kept us from stressing out. We also ended up having an issue with our hotel block (completely our fault, not the hotel’s) and Tammy contacted the hotel on our behalf and kept us in the loop on the resolution of the issue. Tammy kept in contact with us regularly, answered our numerous questions patiently, and kept track of all the little last minute changes and details we had. The weekend of the wedding Tammy brought all of our wedding stuff from her office to the venue and saved us so much time and stress since we were already preoccupied with the rehearsal dinner. The day of the wedding, Tammy and Petra were so organized and thought of all the little details that I had forgotten. They also kept us on schedule so that we weren’t running behind. The ceremony decorations in the aisle and at the altar were beautifully done and we were just blown away by the amazing table centerpieces at the reception. Tammy even found a gold cake stand and cake cutting set for us to match our wedding colors! At the end of the wedding we were exhausted but so grateful when we came back up to our room and found that Tammy and Petra had already put everything we needed back in our room and had it cleaned as well! We are so grateful to Tammy and Petra for the best wedding ever and would highly recommend them to everyone!

We used Special Moments for day of planning. We had started planning ourselves, but learned about Tammy and are very happy that she was able to work with us.

She helped along the way, promptly answering all of our questions and emails.

Week of, she kept me calm and worked with all of our vendors for a day of timeline.

Day of was amazing! I didn’t have to do anything other than get to the venue, have my hair/makeup done and get dressed! Even after our guests left, I was preparing to start packing our stuff, but she and her assistant, Petra, had everything done!

Save yourself a lot of headaches and hire Special Moments. Had we known about her sooner, we probably would have had her take a bigger role in the planning!

Special Moments Event Planning was absolutely incredible on our wedding day! We had hired a different planner over a year out from our wedding who went MIA on us less than 2 months before our big day. My Mom reached out to Tammy, we set up a phone call, hired her, and she came to a meeting at our venue the NEXT day. Not only did she attend the meeting, but she knew every single one of our vendors, their contracts, and what questions to ask our on-site coordinator. Our wedding day ran flawlessly. Every single minute was accounted for in the timeline they created and I knew I didn't have to worry about a single thing. It was perfect from start to finish. My only regret is not hiring Special Moments sooner!!

Tammy did such an amazing job decorating the drapery of our tent for our wedding at the Sirata Beach Resort. She truly made the outdoor space look elegant and beautiful. Planning a wedding for more than 300 invites with the bride living more than 900 miles away was initially quite daunting. I was relieved and deeply grateful when my daughter and her fiancé decided to hire a wedding planner. After researching the local options, my daughter and her fiancé selected Special Moments Event Planning. As their name suggests, from the moment we signed on, our wedding was a priority and Tammy and her team made us and our wedding feel very special. I would venture to say that our wedding had more unique details (broadway musical theme with a cabaret rehearsal dinner and a very special 10 minute musical at the reception to mention a few). The Special Moments team was on board throughout this year long process. They provided amazing vendor options as well as positive and productive solutions for the many possibly challenges along the way. Beyond their creative problem solving, the Special Moments team was all in with emotional and physical support. It is quite evident that the Special Moments team becomes completely and personally vested when they decide to take on an event. We were so fortunate and blessed to have Tammy and her team from Special Moments Event Planning guide us and hold our hand through a year of planning which resulted in a wedding weekend that exceeded our deepest dreams and desires. I don't even know where to begin to talk about how incredibly wonderful the team at Special Moments is! They all worked so hard to make our day the best day ever! Petra was the sweetest, most accommodating person! She literally took care of everything for us! Including packing up all of our decorations in bubble wrap, all organized and ready for us to take after our wedding. Leading up to our wedding she and Tammy helped us navigate every twist and turn of our planning journey. We were totally clueless and they gave us recommendations for the best vendors who were exactly what we wanted. The day of was so perfect and beautiful! Petra designed our arch and she and Natalie setup all of the decor in the ballroom and it was even better than I ever pictured or imagined. Petra, Tammy, and Natalie were literally fairy godmothers! I felt like a princess all day and can't believe everything went so smoothly and we had SO much fun!!! I thought about nothing other than marrying the love of my life on my wedding day and it was better than a fairy tale. Tammy was a true asset to our wedding! During the planning phase she knew exactly what questions to ask to get a feel of what we wanted, but not so much so that added more stress and made us overwhelmed. As weddings are expensive I thought I could do it myself, but in reality I couldn't have done it without Tammy and the team. The ceremony went flawlessly as did the reception. I made multiple comments during that day that I was waiting for the other shoe to drop (as I have read so many brides ran into some bump/hickup during their big day) but it NEVER did. Or atleast the team was so great to hide everything from me that no one noticed! The cost of hiring a wedding planner was well worth it and I would do it again in a heart beat!

I worked with Tammy and Petra for our October wedding and they are the dynamic duo! I can honestly say there is NOT ONE THING I would have changed about the wedding, the team made our dream come true from the vendors to rehearsal and reception. Tammy and team were always great to respond and even worked around our very busy schedules by scheduling things during the evenings and weekends. They made sure every detail was attended to, I honestly don't know what I would have done without them.

Incredibly grateful to Tammy & Petra! Tammy Waterman came highly recommended by two of our friends (who both had amazingly beautiful and well planned weddings.) Tammy made sure we had all the best vendors at the best rates, gave us some great ideas, reserved our hotel room blocks, built an amazing candy bar, answered all our questions, and most importantly made sure the whole night of our wedding went smoothly. We found our caterer, our DJ and Lighting guy, our officiant, and our candy supply company through Tammy’s recommendations. We interviewed and met with other vendors, but ultimately went with Tammy’s recommendation in every case. All four received rave reviews from our guests and other vendors. Where we were stuck on floor plan, furniture rentals, allowing kids, deciding on centerpieces, building the timeline, coming up with alternative bouquet ideas, and when to send the invitations and set the RSVP deadline, Tammy jumped in and steered us in the right direction. She directed us to complete an inventory list and assign family and friends to very specific setup tasks. This made the whole setup process go unbelievably smooth. Tammy and Petra arrived early, added their special touch (after checking in with us to make sure it was okay) to our setup, kept our guests in line, dealt with our vendors, made sure we had a break and some appetizers in private after the pictures but before the reception, and stayed late to help us clean everything up. Where do I even begin? Tammy has been there for me since day one of our planning process. I met her years ago when she planned my sisters wedding, and since then has planned so many friends weddings. Not only is she knowledgable, but she is so honest! She was so patient with me, especially when I would get stressed out and overwhelmed, she would always assure me everything would work out... and it always did!

The vendors she suggested were AMAZING! People that attended my wedding are still talking about everything from the food, to the linens, to the ceremony decor.

She pulled all of my scattered ideas together, and made everything flow beautifully. I have heard many horror stories about wedding vendors, and each and every person Special Moments recommends, exceeded my expectations, and they gave me my dream wedding.

I am so grateful to Tammy and her team. They always responded to my emails, calls, and made me feel like I was important, and not a burden. I cant recommend them enough. They will work with your budget, and even help SAVE money!

Tammy and her team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. When I first got engaged, I was unsure about hiring a wedding planner. I thought to myself "I'm creative and organized, I can handle this". After going through the entire planning process I quickly learned I probably would have been a mess without Tammy. She has ongoing business relationships with reputable vendors and allows you to actually relax and enjoy your wedding day, which is a foreign concept to many brides. Even the most innovative, creative DIY brides still need help with execution aspects. I got Tammy's full planning package, and it was worth every penny. She also has a huge assortment of wedding decor available for use at no additional cost if you go with her her full package. That alone significantly helped stay within my budget. I was able to save on vases, candles, wedding arch, etc. She also brings in other members of her staff the day of to ensure every aspect of your wedding goes as planned. Do yourself a favor, and hire Tammy. Your wedding will not only come together beyond your expectations, but it will also allow you to be stress free to enjoy your day, and your entire engagement for that matter. I worked with Tammy throughout the entire planning process and it was worth every penny to feel so at ease for the whole year leading up to the day. It rained on my wedding day (good luck right?) and Tammy and her wonderful team, which includes her husband, recreated my dream outdoor wedding in the backup space inside the grounds of the St. Pete Shuffleboard Club. My wife and I decided to get married on a day with special significance to us. Normally this would make a special day even more so... except we had decided that we should do this about three months before the date. With eleven weeks to go and not even our venue finalized, we realized we needed professional help.

Tammy at Special Moments was reassuring from our very first conversation. While we (OK, mainly me) were freaking out over the ticking clock, Tammy constantly made sure we were where we needed to be and made sure everything that needed to get done, did. Even through we were consistently indecisive and peppering her with incessant questions, she was still friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and the consummate professional throughout the entire process.

To me, the most amazing thing was whenever we threw a new challenge at Tammy, she just calmly took them in stride. Last minute change of seating arrangements? Don't worry about it. Lacking the key component in the wedding favors? Found it and bought it (and oh, the favors are already done). Adding an entirely new vendor with a complicated travel arrangement 6 days before the wedding? Not even a problem.

There were definitely times when I thought to myself "She must think we're like so freaking annoying" but all she ever did was reassure us every time that we're in good shape, give us high fives and told us she's going to make it all amazing. And she totally did.

Our wedding day was perfect. Tammy (and the equally amazing Katie) took care of every detail we overlooked, eliminated every problem before it affected us and did whatever needed to be done, in many cases without us even being aware a problem existed. They were like the wedding version of a black ops team.

Special Moments enabled us to enjoy our wedding day even more than we could have imagined and for that, we're ever so grateful. If you need a wedding planner, just save yourself the stress and go call Special Moments right now.

Tammy and her team are amazing. We were having problems getting everything to come together and we were relying far too much on family. Everyone was scrambling instead of enjoying the moment and process. Five weeks before the big day we contacted Tammy at Special Moments. I am not kidding when I say I was relaxed for the first time in weeks after our first conversation. That conversation was followed by almost a two hour meeting with her and the person who became our main point of contact, Katie. All concern my now wife and I had about pulling these events off were completely gone after this meeting.

Katie Marshall became our main point of contact. She leaves no stone unturned and is extremely responsive. As it works well for me, and seems to work well for her, most of our conversations were by way of email. With that, the times I wanted to speak to her over the phone, she was there. Those things are extremely comforting when you are hosting multiple events for eighty people. We went event by event and organized each bit, with Katie and her colleagues doing the heavy lifting. They all simply get things done.

While we had already chosen most all of the vendors we used, Tammy and team coordinated every single aspect of all events. From the Rehearsal to the Reception, they covered everything. It is amazing how they kept every event flowing perfectly considering numerous speed bumps we put before them. I don't recall a time at the Rehearsal, Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding or Reception where a member of their team wasn't in my view. They were on top of everything and if something was out our order, it was addressed immediately. They were dressed for the event as well. Each one of them looked great. Once again, no stone unturned.

I could go on and on about Special Moments. It's the people. Tammy, Bill, Katie, Melanie, Krystal, and Petra.

Absolutely amazing company!! You cannot go wrong hiring them! Tammy is beyond amazing and I am SO happy I hired her to do all of my wedding decor, both the ceremony and reception. One of the most impressive things about this company, is that Tammy took it upon herself to visit my wedding venue prior to me hiring them- in order to give me a complete and accurate proposal and to know exactly what they would need! I researched dozens of vendors and NOT a single one offered to do this- and all of them stated that going out to the venue prior would cost a fee! I was instantly impressed with this gesture, and not to mention this company is affordable. Tammy and Special Moments are wonderful! They really go above and beyond the call of duty and assist to see your vision and make it come to life. We could not have expected the wedding and reception to turn out as good as it did or go as smoothly as it went. Tammy and staff have keen attention to detail and are incredible organized. We decided to purchase one of their top packages which allowed us to reach out to Tammy during the planning process. I would highly recommend this! There are so many venders to choose from it really helps to have someone point you in the right direction and reach out to them on your behalf. Venders we used had all worked together before so it made our wedding come together seamlessly. The day before and day of planning assistance is really when you need it most. They coordinate all the moving elements to your day from the rehearsal, to the ceremony, to the progression of cocktail hour/reception, and schedule where everyone needs to be any given time so you don't have to! And you really need this because the only thing the bride or groom should be responsible for the day of the wedding is themselves, haha. I would highly recommend this group. Tammy was amazing! I'm pretty low-key, and we had her for her day off 'plus' package... and I have no idea what I would have done without her! She coordinated with the venue when we had concerns, she answered all of my questions... anytime. I was pretty lost about what details I really needed done for a wedding, and every time I talked to her I felt so much better. We rented centerpieces from her, and she was brilliant about helping me pick them out. The day of and the rehearsal I (and the whole bridal party) would have been lost without her. We have a fairly rambunctious group for the bridal party to say the least... but she was great about working with us and getting everyone into place. The day of the wedding I didn't have to worry about a thing! She set everything up, took everything down, and everything we kept from the wedding was waiting back in our room after the reception. Please hire Tammy to be your planner/coordinator! You will not be disappointed. She is an invaluable wealth of information and knowledge of the industry and was able to get to know my tastes exceptionally well. She coordinated with all of my vendors (which saved me a ton of time), designed a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony, met with me whenever I needed, and was always a call, text, or email away. She is very professional and will be the bulldog in your corner whenever you need. There are always issues that pop up, sometimes big ones, and I didn't have to deal with hardly any of it. She will handle it and make it right. I was a bride with a specific vision and she never made me feel like a burden, which I KNOW I had to be at times. Tammy and Bill were such a pleasure to work with. He was our officiant and did an amazing job with our ceremony. Tammy was like a Maid of Honor through the entire process. She made sure I had everything I needed and even offered sound advice throughout the whole planning experience. We were concerned about wind on the beach and my aisle way was not going to be able to placed, so she came up with the idea of placing a white carpet so I would not be without! I did not Use Tammy and this company for Wedding Planning Services although I should have. However I used them for Event rentals such as Arch, Lounge furniture, Witty beach Signs and sweetheart table Décor. They had to do the set up and take down and they did a wonderful job. My wedding simply would not have happened if not for Tammy and Special Moments. I contacted her initially just to get some planning ideas, which she provided to me with no obligation or expectation that I would hire her for services. Through the planning process, Tammy handled all pricing negotiations with vendors (saving me a TON of money - about as much as her fee was), sat down with me multiple times to discuss details, and answered my 3 million emails quickly and professionally. When I had problems arise where I didn't want to be the "bad guy" with bridal party or vendors, Tammy would tactfully address my concerns and solve them with no stress at all. On my wedding day, she helped everything run smoothly by setting up everything in the venue, from the ceremony arch to the venue décor to table arrangements (which she completely designed/created because I hadn't even thought about them!). She handled any blips throughout the day, and kept me in the loop as needed. In the year that I worked with her, I did not hear her say "That's not something that I do," or "You need to talk to ____ about that." She completely surpassed my expectations, and played a pivotal role in the happiest day of my life!

Tammy did the draping for the Clearwater Rec Center for our wedding and it completely transformed the room with the lighting! During the planning process, she had great ideas/feedback and welcomed any ideas that I had. She has lots of pictures to send to give different ideas and figure out exactly what I was interested in. Where to start when trying to, in a few words, describe the MOUNTAINS of help, assistance, organization, ideas, and savings that Tammy/Special Moments provided. My venue (The Don Vicente in Ybor) required that I hire a planner-- something I hadn't planned on doing or needing. The Don recommended Tammy, and before deciding on Tammy myself I went home and read all of her reviews- after the first couple I was sold, but read on and they were ALL stellar. I now, myself, have lived through working with Tammy over the course of my own wedding and couldn't wait (well it has to wait until after the honeymoon) to write a glowing review of my own to help others choose Tammy too!! Tammy is ULTRA responsive (which is huge) she is almost always reachable and when she's not she returns calls and emails very quickly. Another thing I really valued in Tammy was how giving with her time she was-- she was always happy to talk, at length or meet, or conference call with my other vendors- I never felt rushed or like I ever had anything other than her rapt and full attention. My wedding wasn't huge (about 60 people) but there are a ton of moving dynamics and variables that MUST be considered if you want your big day to go off without a hitch- remember when I said I wasn't planning on needing/having a planner? Well, my family thought a planner might not be necessary as well, in the beginning...towards the end of the wedding day planning and certainly by the day of grey were all gushing over how instrumental and 110% necessary Tammy was. I couldn't have been happier with my big day, and credit where credit is due I couldn't have done it without Tammy (seriously). Tammy was my rock, and my rockstar through your the entire process!!!!!!

My now husband proposed on New Years 2014. For two months, my mother and I feverishly read all of the online blogs, bought all of the wedding magazines, fretted over budgets, and attempted to orchestrate "the big day." The endless checklists and timelines appeared to be adequate guidance, as we are both avid DIYers. Lucky for us, along the way my husband found our wedding venue, the Don Vicente, which lead us to Tammy.

With our tentative small wedding (55 guests), I was honestly skeptical to hire a planner at first. I had previously spoken to a handful of planners and florists who recited information I had already found and took no deep interest in our individual wedding. When I reached out to Tammy, I found someone who was genuinely interested in my aspirations and how she could help me achieve them. She was unbelievably responsive and with her vast knowledge of all the wedding tips and tricks, she immediately demonstrated how desperately I NEEDED a planner!

Along the way, Tammy assisted with aesthetics, etiquette, do's and don'ts, and helped my vision transform from haphazard Pinterest boards to a well thought out and cohesive event. She made excellent suggestions (from matching colors to budgets), coordinated vendors, and solved all of my crises, including hair and makeup for myself and four bridesmaids ONE WEEK FROM THE WEDDING! For rehearsal and the day of the wedding, Tammy provided excellent direction for the vendors, wedding party, and guests and ensured that everything and one was in their right place - I never left the bridal suite until the ceremony! She seamlessly transitioned all of the individual events of the evening, leaving my husband and I to enjoy every last minute. For this, I cannot thank her enough!

She was very warm, real, and knowledgeable.I am a very organized person that is borderline OCD. I like feedback and responsiveness and cringe when I feel out of the loop or confused. The special Moments team was able to accommodate my needs and my personality. I was kept on track and knew exactly what was going on. Tammy took care of all of the disasters and that make a bride go mad and I only knew about it after it was resolved. She adjusted my budget to where I felt I could afford it again and really made my day shine. Her 10+ years of experience has allowed her to meet and build rapport with numerous vendors which allows for options and versatility. Thank you Tammy for not only making me believe in my wedding day but for providing a truly memorable and wonderful experience.

I simply could not have made my wedding as great as it was without Tammy. I live out of state and had to plan a Florida wedding. My mom and I met with Tammy just twice in person before our wedding. I had to completely trust her with everything since I don't live in Florida. She didn't let me down at any point. We communicated mostly through e-mail and I could rely on her to answer my questions and concerns. She was quick to respond and I could trust her to get things done. She listened to my ideas and worked with them. She was great with thinking up new ideas that specifically fit our wedding style and venue. She thought of so many things I would have never thought of. She was enthusiastic and really made me feel like she was focused on making my wedding the best it could be. She was there to help from the beginning of planning all through our wedding day. I'm so glad made the choice to have Tammy's help through the whole planning process.

Tammy and her crew from Special Moments were a godsend! Even though I live only 10 minutes from our wedding venue, I was completely overwhelmed with the process of planning a wedding with my mom living out of state. Tammy truly was a "fill in mom" during the wedding process. She met with us whenever my mom was in town, and took a lot of my moms wedding jitters away too! Tammy took care of things I never even knew existed, and took the stress out of planning our wedding. It was so comforting knowing I could relax and enjoy planning and my big day without pulling my hair out! She knows all the vendors in the area and can recommend the best ones to you (and get you a discount!). Every vendor we spoke to, whether recommended by her or not, had nothing but fabulous things to say about her. She has a reputation in the bridal industry as one of the best planners around, and vendors want to work with her. This is one of the most valuable aspects of having a planner, as your vendors make your wedding, and getting the wrong ones can turn tragic. All of our vendors were recommended by her and absolutely fantastic (check the reviews!). In the wedding industry, vendors work together all the time at various events. When they have a good relationship, your wedding will run so smoothly, so trust her recommendations! If you want to actually enjoy your wedding, and not have overwhelming stress, YOU NEED TO HIRE TAMMY!

Tammy was highly recommended to me by a hotel events coordinator so I knew she was going to be great! Tammy did a wonderful job in helping me plan/organize my wedding! Being a full-time, working professional, I found it difficult to juggle both work and wedding planning. Tammy helped me organize what needed to be done along the way, and she handled most of the drama when my wedding location became difficult to deal with. She always made herself available, whether it be a phone call or a meeting. She also had no problem implementing some last minute ideas I came up with 2 days before the wedding. All in all, Tammy was great and helped me keep my mental sanity throughout the wedding process. I would strongly recommend her to others!

Tammy was phenomenal! Her recommendations for our wedding and our vendors easily saved us more money than we ended up spending on Tammy's fees as a coordinator.
In addition to the financial aspect, Tammy made our wedding planning process much smoother. She was able to contact our reception hall and get answers when we were having a hard time getting a hold of them.
Tammy was organized (she kept a folder with all our wedding's relevant details) and always responded to our concerns very quickly (I cannot stress how important this last details was for us!).
I was initially skeptical about spending the extra money for a coordinator, but I am so glad we did. I would give Tammy my highest possible recommendation to other couples who are planning their wedding.
