Amazing experience with the SoHo team!
Working with Kasie and Sarah for our wedding last month was a dream! They were so easy to work with, extremely professional, and are experts at what they do! From Vendor coordination to answering small questions leading up to our wedding, they made the process so smooth. When our wedding weekend finally came, they made everything so easy and allowed us to truly enjoy our big day! Could not recommend their services more. -

Sarah was literally our saving grace throughout the entire process! She designed and executed our dream wedding, all while making each aspect of the wedding specific to our story! From the very first call we had with her, I knew she was perfect for our wedding! Sarah is the most responsive and attentive person you will ever meet, and it is so apparent she loves and cares so much about her brides, grooms, and their families. She went above and beyond throughout the planning process, and followed through the same during the execution! I truly cannot express how grateful we are to have had her on our team for our perfect wedding! -

Sarah's dedication to us as a couple from the moment we hired her was apparent. She was easily reachable and highly responsive, while always giving her honest opinion. She alleviated so much stress in the months leading up to the wedding giving us all peace of mind going into the biggest weekend of our lives. Going out of her way to speak with vendors, order additional supplies, etc. She was hands-down the best and most important vendor we could've chosen! -

As a bride at the wedding, it can be easy to get caught up in the celebration and friends/family. Sarah made sure that we tracked along with the itinerary so that we were able to do all that we wanted. She made sure we were well fed and always had a drink (if we wanted one). If anything went not according to plan, I would have never known because Sarah handled it all. I know for a fact that my wedding day would not have been as smooth without her! You rock, Sarah!! -

Sarah is absolutely amazing. She is my kind of girl -- on top of it, attentive, and the perfect, quick-moving personality for this kind of job when there's a lot to get done. She's extremely organized. As a plus, her current assistant, Kasie, saved us day-of with my sister's veil and bustle as she used to work as a wedding dress stylist consultant! -

There are no words to describe my appreciation for Sarah and her team! From the beginning of my planning process, Sarah was someone I could go to for any questions, concerns and all my random thoughts. I cannot thank her enough for the countless calls, texts, emails and meetings. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is not an easy task. She really made my whole planning process SO much easier AND more enjoyable. It was just great to have her by my side through it all! She understood our budget and helped us decide where our money would be well spent. She also gave me creative ideas that I never would have thought of for our decor. She was beyond patient with me and my mom when we had billions of questions the weeks leading up to the big day. :) When I had the idea to create menu cards two weeks before the event, she volunteered to turn them into something even better with gold grommets and ribbon tied in the corner - SO BEAUTIFUL! I also wanted a disco ball over our dance floor but realized quickly it was out of our budget. She surprised us on our wedding day with mini disco balls on the cake table with flowers and greenery around them. I almost cried when I saw them! She is the greatest example of truly caring about your clients and wanting their wedding to be the best day of their lives. Her and her team did everything imaginable that day to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. They were the calming presence we needed in many moments throughout the day/night. I will be forever grateful and cannot recommend SoHo Events enough! -

The BEST vendor of the entire wedding, HANDS DOWN!
My venue recommended Sarah Cook to me and I was blown away by how much we didn’t even know we needed her until she was taking everything off of our plates and handling every detail of the wedding on our behalf! It was AMAZING! The amount of stress that fell off of my shoulders was worth every single penny and more! She is highly experienced, extremely professional and oozes confidence, skill, and dedication! She has a beautifully designed and easy to navigate software program for the couple, the venue, and the vendors to have a master timeline of the day, a seating chart with guests names, a layout of the ceremony and reception, and EVEN a rain plan. She handled everything from the timeline to the dress code for the staff to the decor set up and tear down! She was the first person there and the last person at the end of the night. She worked tirelessly and relentlessly to ensure that no detail was overlooked. She was diligently orchestrating the biggest day of our lives and she executed it PERFECTLY! It was the most incredible, magical, and beautiful day of our lives! It was truly the wedding of our dreams in fact, and it wouldn’t have been possible without Sarah! She was always there for me to vent to, had a solution for any problem or challenge that arose, and kept me organized, calm, and balanced! She is absolutely incredible and while I could go on and on- I’ll simply say: HIRE HER! It’s the best decision you’ll make for your wedding & you won’t regret it! -

Best Wedding Planner
I cannot say enough about how INCREDIBLE Sarah was! She made the process enjoyable and smooth. Hiring Sarah was hands down the best decision we made from the start. She experienced 2 postponements with us due to COVID. Sarah supported me while we re-planned my wedding to a different venue & state. She handled our contracts, as well as all of the small details that came up during the last few weeks before the wedding. I could go on and on about the day of our wedding. Not once did I, the groom, or my mom stress on our big day. She coordinated so many different things, and had the ceremony and reception set up perfectly! I know as a bride you fear being so stressed out and not once did I feel that at all. We even had a pop up rain shower right before our ceremony, but the Sarah handled the logistics of it amazing. Also, the compliments I received from my vendors, venue coordinator, family and friends about Sarah were phenomenal. She was so organized and on top of everything at all times! I couldn’t of had a better planner by my side to help me make my dream day so special.
If you are considering booking SOHO EVENTS don’t think twice about it!

Being a Type A control-freak, the idea of choosing someone to help me with the end-to-end planning of my sister's bridal shower was terrifying. Given the fact that I live in CT and my sister in Charlotte, plus the fact that I'm the only member of the bridal party, I didn't see any other way to pull off the perfect shower for my lovely sister. I can across Sarah and her events company in my searching. Her instaphotos and website really grabbed my attention so I reached out. Her near immediate response to my email and our crisp, to-the-point follow up discussions made it clear to me I could end my search. I shared with her a very rough idea of what I was thinking as well as my sister's and my Pinterest boards so she could get a sense of the bride's style. We worked through venue ideas/options and she was really helpful and flexible with me as we explored options and narrowed the list down. Once we selection the location, she quickly pulled the design board together and WOW, it was SPOT ON. I don't have that creative part of me so I was really intimidated by turning my crude ideas into something beautiful but Sarah did it! She brought in top-notch local vendors, all of whom she'd worked with before and was very comfortable with. She managed all of the contracts and payments on my behalf. And then, when the day finally came, she was there to set everything up, stayed to make sure the day ran smoothly, and then cleaned everything up at the end. I honestly couldn't have asked for anything more. She was amazing in her work and, as it turns out, she's also a lovely person! I wish I had another event to plan and/or that I could clone her and bring her to CT with me! THANK YOU SARAH! And to anyone on the fence....HIRE HER. You will NOT be sorry you did!! -

If I could offer Sarah more than 5 stars, I would! Her eye for detail, flawless taste, and overall positive and professional attitude made her a complete joy to work with! From start to finish, Sarah was proactive and such a great listener-- she made sure our event was exactly what we had in mind (and more!). Plus, she clearly has loads of experience and a great reputation with vendors that set us at ease right away. She was such fun to work with and allowed for us to really enjoy the planning process while she handled every little detail :) We couldn't be happier with our experience or rave about her more! A month after signing with Sarah, we were still without a cohesive vision or a single signed vendor. Despite our direction, her suggestions remained consistently off-base.
When we finally pushed for the personalized, professional recommendations we were paying for, she abruptly canceled our contract, citing a difference in 'philosophy.' Turns out her “philosophy” is that you hire her friends, no questions asked. Her inability to deliver cost us thousands of dollars and weeks of irreplaceable planning time.
