  Scott Whittle captured our special moment beautifully! He is very creative, accommodating, helpful and professional! Our photos are beautiful and his presentation of our proofs are a work of art! Scott also photographed our wedding in August of 2009 and created masterful photos reflecting the emotion of the day with the use of his lens. We hope to have Scott continue to photograph all of our momentous occasions!!!

  We hired Scott for our wedding on the recommendation of a friend, and could not have been happier. During the ceremony and after, he was unobtrusive and professional while getting absolutely priceless photos of us, our family and friends. Everything was done with a minimum of fuss. When going over details before the wedding, he listened carefully, then quietly went out and got the best pictures of us ever taken. Highly, highly recommended and worth every penny.

  I used Wedding Wire to help me find some of my vendors so thought I would return the favor to future brides and review some of mine, including our photographer. Scott was an outstanding choice - both because of the way he conducts business and the end product he presents you with. We talked prior to the wedding multiple times so he could really understand what types of photographs were important to us - literally a list of the shots we definitely wanted as well as just a general idea of our style. On the day of, he was really great at wrangling everyone so that we could get all our family/BP shots and do so in a timely manner prior to the ceremony. During the ceremony and reception, I did not even notice him, he was so incredibly unobtrusive!! He delivered our pictures when he said he would, and oh.my.gosh. were they incredible!! He shows such finesse behind a lens - I felt like we were all movie stars featured in a glamorous photoshoot. I have never seen everyone looks so beautiful. In addition to capturing our "best side" the actual set-ups of the pictures were so great. He took a lot of candids that just took my breath away- really interesting angles, capturing the emotions of the day perfectly. I find myself revisiting our album over and over - partly because our wedding was so special to me but partly because I just enjoy the artistry he brought to the photographic record of the day. What a gem!! The button below lists "yes" or "no" as a recommendation. I clicked "yes" only because there was not an option of "absolutely, positively, with no reservations YES!".

  Scott Whittle did an amazing job photographing our wedding. He was completely unobtrusive for candid shots, putting everyone at ease while managing to quietly document so many special, fleeting moments. The more traditional posed shots came out lovely as well. Everyone who has seen my photos has been impressed by how unique and artistic they are, and how they really captured the spirit of our wedding. Beyond his skill as a photographer, Scott is friendly, funny, and a genuinely nice guy. We couldn't recommend him more.

  Amazing Photographer
  I met Scott when I was a bridesmaid & knew after I saw the photos (especially the candids) that if I ever got married, I'd use him to document the day. I guess you could say that I knew my photographer before I knew my groom. His photojournalist style is artistic; you should have confidence that he will "get the shot" without getting in the way. Truthfully, he'll get dozens of amazing photos for you that you will have a hard time picking your favorites. His personality is warm, which makes him a calming force on your big day. Post wedding, he uploads them in a timely manner in a user friendly way. He's reasonable and honest and reliable and now we consider him a friend.

  We were SO happy with our photos. They are absolutely beautiful and the perfect mix of artistic and traditional photos. Scott and his associates are real pros. Scott knows how to capture people without making them pose. I have two stepdaughters and Scott took the most beautiful photos of them when they didn't even know he was looking (and, of course, he took ones where they posed with us). He's very sensitive to the timing of the wedding so, during the family photos, he got everyone in and out quickly and the photos were great. As a guest, I've seen photographers who make themselves the center of the wedding, making every part of the reception take longer while they snap photos. As a bride, I barely noticed Scott was there and yet every photo we talked about was taken. I don't know how he does it! Then there's the fact that we genuinely liked working with Scott. He's SUCH a nice guy.

  Fabulous
  We have recommended Scott to all of our friends. He was simply amazing. His shots were beautiful and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. We wanted a bunch of different styles - candid, posed, etc - and he delivered on everything. I only wish all of our wedding vendors were as wonderful as Scott!

  Scott was a complete pleasure to work with. We had a hurricane on our wedding day and he managed to make the photos look beautiful. He is beyond calm and proffesional, you barely notice him.

  We were lucky enough to have Scott shoot our wedding after an exhaustive search of vetting photographers we chose him because of his work and his friendly yet formal demeanor. We are both design professionals so amazing aesthetics were a must for our big day. Scott was very professional and he and his team made sure to spend time capturing both the bride and groom during our preparation, all of which I am very glad to have so beautifully documented. The ceremony, reception and get-away everything was great. In fact, we liked his work so much we had him shoot a range of portraits for us after we arrived back from our honeymoon which are among our most treasured possessions.
