Great service and a wonderful value for your money! The owners were very responsive, kind, and helpful throughout the wedding planning and preparation process. It is such a beautiful venue and we fell in love with it at first glance. The price point was perfect for us as a young couple and recent college grads. We loved working with Riverside on the Potomac for our wedding. They were incredibly easy to work with, very responsive and accommodating to our needs. We had a lot of stuff for our wedding and they let us come a few days early to drop stuff off. The venue was also stunning and very well maintained. For the price, you get a lot of value with multiple venue locations to host your event and tons of flexibility. We really appreciated being able to choose our own vendors and bring our own alcohol. They were easily one of the best vendors that we worked with for our wedding. Highly recommend.Riverside on the Potomac's reply:

I recently had the honor of hosting my son’s traditional Indian wedding at Riverside on the Potomac, and I could not be more grateful for the exceptional service and experience provided. From the first meeting with the team to the very last moment of the reception, every detail was handled with the highest level of professionalism, care, and dedication.
The venue itself offered an elegant and welcoming atmosphere that made the perfect backdrop for such a special occasion. This venue is a family owned business, and Suzi and her team were warm, accomdating, and a true pleasure to work with. They stayed in costant contact with the wedding party all day and were always quick to lend a hand to anyone they observed may need it, guests and other vendors alike. They were a huge part of making the weekend a great success. The grounds and facilities were well kept and very clean. Many of the guests commented on how beautiful the setting was and how smoothly everything was managed.
The outdoor ceremony site featuring a stone patio and pond was truly beautiful and large enough to accommodate 200+ guests and a traditional Mandap for the inter-denominational ceremony. The beautiful barn for sangeet/mehendi and next day for reception was lit with lanterns and stringed bulb lighting, which worked perfectly with our planned decor. The venue rental includes 20+ round tables and 200+ chairs that can be used for the ceremony and reception as well as several other furnishings. This venue also allows you full vendor flexibility, which was invaluable when planning our prefect Indian / Carribean event.
As a parent, it brought me great joy and comfort to know that my son and his bride could fully enjoy their wedding day without any concerns. The team at Riverside on the Potomac created an environment where every moment felt effortless, meaningful, and memorable.
On behalf of our families, I extend my sincere thanks to the entire team at Riverside on the Potomac for helping us celebrate this milestone with such grace and excellence. We will always look back on this day with gratitude and happiness, and we would wholeheartedly recommend Riverside on the Potomac to any family seeking the perfect wedding venue.

We are so happy that we chose Riverside for our wedding 9/21/24! Suzi and Travis were a pleasure to work with and promptly answered all questions we had leading up to our day. I loved how there were multiple options for our ceremony site and that cocktail hour was a beautiful area that was separate and a very different feel from the reception site. There are so many great picture spots at the venue, and the chapel was wonderful for our first look. The barn was absolutely perfect and spacious for our 140 guests. We got so many compliments about the venue and Leesburg in general since everyone was from Pennsylvania. I love Riverside so much and highly recommend it!
P.S. We loved DJ Maskell and Smokin Willy--both vendors are at Riverside a lot and really know the ins and outs which made everything flow smoothly!Riverside on the Potomac's reply:

Perfect Rainy Wedding
ROTP was the perfect venue for our wedding. Suzi and Travis were so kind and flexible when we had to move everything indoors. They made the experience so personal, and even took down some décor for us because of the rain. We got to visit the venue a number of times before our day and everything went amazingly. Cannot recommend this venue enough. -

Beautiful Venue for a Perfect Wedding
Suzie and Travis were the perfect venue owners! From the start of finding a wedding venue to finishing the night of our wedding, everything was easy working with them. Suzie was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She always answered my (many) questions before I chose a venue and then after we decided on Riverside and were planning the details. We were able to visit the venue multiple times during the planning process. The week before the wedding my father-in-law was able to drop off the beer and wine in the kitchen and our caterer set up the day before (because the wedding was on a Friday we had more wiggle room with set up). On the day of, Travis and Susie helped direct people with parking and even drove people who needed extra help walking in a golf cart. Our wedding ceremony was at a Catholic church so we used the patio for the cocktail hour. I was not worried about the weather/rain because if it did rain we would simply move the cocktail hour into the stables, which were equally as lovely. They let us use their wine barrel tables for cocktail tables and a cake stand which they set up in the locations for us. We also used all of their simple white folding chairs which were lovely and an easy way to save money. All of our guests loved the scenic countryside and had so much fun! Compared to many other venues in the area I believe Riverside has better scenery and amenities and was equally priced if not slightly cheaper. I would recommend anyone planning a wedding in the Leesburg area look at Riverside on the Potomac!Riverside on the Potomac's reply:

ROTP is such a stunning venue. The property is beautiful and the barn is perfect. Suzi and Travis are amazing to work with and they truly care about all the couples they do weddings with. When I toured this venue I fell in love. There are so many places to pick for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We got married in October, and everything was still very lush and green. It was a little colder, but everyone felt great inside the climate controlled barn. This venue met all my expectations and more. Thank you again Suzi and Travis!!!Riverside on the Potomac's reply:

Riverside on the Potomac in Leesburg was the perfect location for our wedding. The gardens, the river, the trees... all beautiful backdrops for the day. The property is a nice piece of land in Loudoun County that features a large barn for the reception and a one-of-a-kind cocktail hour area (repurposed horse stables.) Having different locations for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was really important to us. We didn't want any part of the day to get stale and the space and accommodations ROTP offers kept the guests moving and exploring. Our decor for the day was relatively simple because we didn't need to add much to the already established pieces on the property. One of our favorite spots in the barn was the furnished lounge/bar area. A lot of thought went into making ROTP special and we could not have asked for a better venue!Riverside on the Potomac's reply:

My husband and I live in the UK but decided we were going to get married in the states. Being across an ocean made it a little bit difficult to pick a wedding venue but lucky for us we have an amazing in-house wedding planner (my mom). She knew the key points I was looking for, outdoor wedding venue, (with a gorgeous indoor option if weather is an issue), big dance floor, and a place to celebrate one of the best days of our lives! -and boy did she nail it!! She took my dad with her to visit Riverside on the Potomac for the first time and they Skyped us later that day with glowing reviews! They described the gorgeous pond, the beautiful flowers, the spectacular barn, and the fun stables for cocktail hour! It sounded like the perfect spot, and we blindly said yes! Later on in the year we were able to visit Riverside on the Potomac in person and it was even better than we imagined! Both the groom and I cried as soon as we walked into the reception barn- it is just soooooo stunning! Our wedding was fabulous and our guests enjoyed every inch of the venue! The ceremony on the pond with gorgeous fields surrounding us. Cocktail hour in the stables was so fun, and there are excellent photo-op areas all around (they even bring out a vintage car to take photos with!). And last but not least the barn for the reception is perfect. An amazing dance floor, an epic wooden bar with fun couches and chairs around, a large kitchen area for catering to make their magic, and a perfect layout for creativity in the way you arrange your guests! Also I can’t forget to mention the bridal only bathroom that is big enough for even the largest princess dress!!! Thank you Suzi and Travis for sharing such a beautiful spot for our wedding. -

Riverside is such a unique venue. My now husband and I were instantly charmed by the venue, its owners Suzi and Travis and their dogs. It was the first venue that we toured, and we knew it was the one for us. The grounds are beautiful and well-cared for with the Waterfall Terrace, the barn, the stables and the little chapel. The photo opportunities are endless! We wanted a place that was fun and casual, and this venue easily provided that ambiance.
Suzi and Travis are the heart and soul of this place. Suzi is so very responsive and is always willing to answer any questions. Travis handles the grounds and can talk to you about the history of the construction. My FIL unfortunately broke his leg before the wedding, and Suzi and Travis were very accommodating with the golf carts and ensuring that he could get around the venue. Note that the venue is rather large with a hill up to the barn, but there are golf carts to make it more accessible.

My husband and I fell in love with Riverside on the Potomac as soon as we drove up to the venue. We knew this was the place for us. The expansive property has beautiful scenic views and offers different backdrops. We had our ceremony at their terrace and patio. We used the stable gallery for our cocktail hour and historic barn for our reception. All of our guests gushed over how beautiful, unique and charming our venue was. The photos were beautiful, and our guests had so much fun. Suzi and Travis were wonderful to work with. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue. My husband and I were so lucky to have our wedding here. -

A little over a year ago my daughter became engaged and we were looking for a venue for her wedding. Upon arriving at Riverside on the Potomac we thought oh my, a stone road… Well, as we started into the driveway a swarm of cardinals flew across our car. After parking, we saw the pond where the ceremony would be held. We were greeted by honking geese and hundreds of beautiful daffodils around the pond. Behind the pond was a large field with another pond and from there the Potomac River. As we gazed, about a dozen deer ran across the open field, stopped and gazed at us. My daughter was in tears! She said mom, “I feel I am in a Disney movie. This is where I want to be married.” She felt her Nanny and her uncle, that she lost way too early, was with her. The owner Suzi, could see in my daughters’ eyes this would be the place for her wedding. Both Suzi and Travis, her husband were wonderful from the first day we met them. They showed us around the venue and were supportive and helpful throughout the year. They answered any questions we had, which were plenty, and responded promptly. The venue dates back to the 1700’s and is beautiful in every way. Suzi opens her home for the brides to get ready. The stables are redone and are exquisite. There is a tack room that looks more like a man cave for the groom/guys to get ready. It has a couch and TV for them to relax. Each horse stall has been redone into a small dining area which could be used if adverse weather or just a nice quiet place during cocktail hour which some of our guests took advantage of. My daughters’ wedding was the last weekend in April. The weather was wonderful and the venue was beautiful! All the flowers were blooming and the venue was spectacular. Even the deer decided to greet us again during the rehearsal. Suzi and Travis were in the shadows to help if we needed them. Suzi even took pictures of my daughter and her father walking towards the ceremony along with a few others and emailed them to us after the wedding. This shows they love what they do and this little extra meant so much to us. We were so happy to have found this venue for our daughters’ wedding and we could not have imagined having it anywhere else. Riverside on the Potomac was the second venue that me and my husband looked at and we fell in love instantly!! We knew we wanted to get married in a rustic barn venue and this place was absolutely perfect. Working with Travis and Suzi was so great leading up to the wedding. Suzi was very prompt in her responses when I emailed her (and I emailed her a lot lol.) We got so many compliments from our family members and everyone kept asking how we found the place. Once everything was set up with the lights and all the decor on the wedding day, it was exactly how I envisioned. Historic Charm & Elegance
Suzi, Travis and the team did a wonderful job helping us - from selecting the venue all the way through the Big Day we loved working with them! Suzi is a veteran in the wedding industry and makes you feel right at home when visiting the venue with her warm demeanor and genuine smile. Even with the uncertainty of Covid, everyone at Riverside remained flexible and easy to work with. The day of our wedding brought additional uncertainty with unseasonably cold weather (45°F on Memorial Day Weekend!), but the Riverside team helped make transitioning the ceremony indoors a smooth process. The venue itself is top notch and the historical elements give it a unique charm that was enjoyed by the bridal party and guests alike. Guests haven’t stopped commenting to us about the beauty of the venue. We highly recommend the venue and the Riverside on the Potomac team for your wedding! -

Riverside on the Potomac was the PERFECT venue for our summer 2021 wedding! We had to reschedule our wedding due to covid, which included changing our venue to be mostly outdoors and more spacious and ROTP was exactly what we were looking for.
There were two main reasons why ROTP was the best venue for us - the views/ambiance and the value for money. The scenery at this venue is absolutely breathtaking, but the barn and other facilities are just as gorgeous!! along that like, ROTP was amazing value for money - they have 300 chairs at the venue which are included (we used them for the ceremony and reception), they have barrles and bars you can use for cocktail hour and the reception included, they have a variety of arches and arbors that you can use, multiple golf carts for carting around to photo locations and for older guests, all of the beautiful string lights and lanterns are included - I could go on and on! Plus, since our wedding was in July, we booked it for a slightly lower cost - and the whole ceremony was in the shave and not too hot at all!!
Above all else, Riverside is one of those venues that is even more beautiful in person. Thank you Suzi for being so easy to work with and maintaining such an amazing location! -

Riverside on the Potomac is the most beautiful venue! My husband and I were married there this past weekend, and all of our guests could not stop raving about the uniqueness and beauty of the property. There is plenty of space to hold all elements of your wedding day on site (pre-ceremony pictures, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, etc.). It is very quintessential "Virginia countryside", and we could not be happier with the decision to get married there. The property owners (Suzi and Travis) are just wonderful and so flexible to work with. They took away any stress that typically comes along with dealing with an event venue. If you're looking for a wedding planner or day-of coordinator, hire Delia-Anne Biondi! There is something about this place that becomes magical when lit up by candlelight at night. My daughter's wedding was PERFECT here and our guests were extremely impressed by this property. It can be rustic but also very elegant at the same time. We loved having the stables for cocktail hour and then dinner in the barn. It was more than I expected and I have high expectations! As soon as we visited Riverside, we knew it was the venue for us! Both our ceremony and reception were beautiful and the atmosphere and location were perfect for both. The entire venue space also had so many beautiful locations and backdrops for our wedding photos. Suzi was incredibly helpful, friendly, and responsive throughout the entire planning process. This venue is GORGEOUS! And the indoor spaces are incredibly unique. Suzi and Travis were super helpful from the first time we visited and we knew we wanted to have our wedding here from the moment we stepped foot on their property and their adorable farm dogs greeted us at our car door, tags wagging. :) Throughout the year and half between booking and leading up to the big day, Suzi was incredibly responsive to any emailed questions we had about the venue and incredible flexible. And the packet of vendors they gave us at the first visit made booking our caterer, florist, transportation and even hotel blocks a breeze. Several times we asked to bring family members and our photographer out for advanced visits as well as to drop off our DIY's before of the wedding and Suzi was incredibly flexible with that as well. We ended up with a Sunday wedding date and we appreciated the discount for that as well. ROTP is a wonderful venue and I couldn't have imagined getting married anywhere else. We completely lucked out with beautiful weather the day of so we able to use "Plan A" and get married on the gorgeous outdoor terrace space (Travis had the chairs and arch set up exactly where we wanted), but Plans B and C in the case of inclement weather would have also been great options if we had needed them. That was one of things we really appreciated about their property. We also loved that there were "real bathrooms" for our guests as several of the other barns we toured didn't have that as an option. All of our guests were completely in awe as they walked into the reception space in the barn with all the warm lighting and wood and the charming stables for the cocktail hour were a huge hit as well. I really appreciate that the heaters were included too as it did get pretty chilly after the sun went down. I loved all the antique furniture and tables that we were able to utilize as well! It made the space feel so fun, cozy and unique. The venue is quite a trek out there and part of the road is unpaved, but we encouraged guests to take the buses we hired and the ride out to the venue on a beautiful fall day ending up being part of the overall experience. We definitely would recommend this venue to others! It's in high demand, so book early if you can. Thanks for making our wedding dreams come to life! All my husband and I can say is WOW after having such an amazing wedding at Riverside. The scenery alone is beautiful, and Suzi and Travis were just the cherry on top. They have been in this business a long time and were extremely helpful and professional. You also instantly feel like family when you meet them. The venue was so accommodating for elderly guests and just wonderfully laid out. We could not have asked for a better place to have our wedding! -

Breathtaking Barn!
Picking Riverside as my venue was a huge part of my wedding being a success. I really wanted a barn reception and this barn is breathtaking! It gives you enough of a blank canvas to really create your vision, but the barn being so beautiful and rustic already it wasn't hard to create the look I was going for. All of my guests were gushing over this venue and the look I was able to create in it. I had 165 people and everyone had plenty of room. Suzi was delightful to work with and was always very quick to respond. We were able to load in our alcohol and DIY stuff on Thursday during our rehearsal which was very helpful. Overall, I am so so happy I chose Riverside to have my wedding, you will not be disappointed! -

Tucked in a quiet corner of Loudoun County, Riverside is a sprawling farm with horses, chickens, and a canine welcome wagon happy to greet you when you arrive to visit (the dogs did not join in our wedding festivities). Travis and Suzi are incredibly accommodating and generous with vendors and guests alike. There are a few options for ceremony spaces, including one that looks out over the farm and beyond, and a beautiful garden space. We chose the space that looks out over the farm. The porch for cocktail hour is stunning as well and had plenty of space for our guests to spread out and mingle. Then there's the barn. Due to plexiglass and central air, we got the rustic look we wanted with the added benefit of a controlled climate. The barn is so beautiful, we only accented it with flowers and had no need for extensive decor or additional lighting. We enjoyed having functional indoor and outdoor space for our reception. Christina Sent on 05/13/2017What a gorgeous property, with views for days, and a great host on top of all that! Both my husband and I have very large families so we knew we would need a venue large enough to accomodate all of our guests. We wanted the rustic barn look and feel and when we came across photos of Riverside on the Potomac online, we knew we just had to come visit in-person. When we arrived for the tour, Suzi gave us a warm greeting and we felt so at ease and welcomed. By the end of our tour, we knew we had found the venue for us. Not only is this one of the most beautiful barns and historic properties in Loudoun County, but it had the space to comfortably handle our nearly 250 guests. From beginning to end, Suzi was always there to answer any questions I had and responded very quickly. She let us come back to the property to check measurements etc. as many times as we needed. A huge plus was the flexibility we had in being able to set up for our wedding days ahead of time and have rentals picked up a day or two after our event was over (though this was because she didn't have a Friday or Sunday wedding during our weekend). Suzi provided such hospitality, and my family just loved each and every visit to see both the venue and catch up with Suzi too! As a wedding planner myself, I will certainly be referring future couples to Riverside on the Potomac. As cliche as it may sound, it's such a magical place where your dreams really do come true. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this venue!! -

My fiance and I were looking for a beautiful venue to show off the beauty of Virginia in fall to our families from out of town. This was the best venue we could have found, and one of the most affordable as well! Suzi was very responsive and let us come multiple times to scope it out. She sent us pictures and details whenever requested. Ultimately, we ended up with the most perfect November weather, and the venue shined almost as much as we did! Our guests could not stop praising the view over the lake, and amazing barn setting for the reception. 10/10 would definitely recommend Riverside!!Riverside on the Potomac's reply:

Ashley Sent on 09/28/2017This venue is breathtaking! It was slightly out of our budget, but after seeing it in person, we made budget adjustments to accommodate this venue. We essentially got 3 different spaces at one venue. Our guests just gushed over the RSOP and the venue is so beautiful on it's own, very little decorations are needed. Suzi and Andy clearly take very good care of their property and take pride in it. It made for beautiful professional pictures as well as mobile phone pics by our guests! Parking can be a little bit of a quagmire, but we ended up just hiring coach buses which is something that happens often with that venue. We saw many many venues, but this was one of the firsts we saw... we couldn't help compare all the other venues to this one. They book up fast, though! We scheduled our wedding date a year and a half in advance, FYI.

We were sent there from Silverbrook Farm owner, Dot, after she told me she was booked for 2 years and couldn't accommodate our wedding date. When we saw ROTP, there were still horses in the barn and hay and antiques stacked to the ceiling of the upstairs barn loft. We booked anyway, understanding the vision of Suzi and where she was taking the place. We could not have been more thrilled on the day of our wedding with all the updates and transformations the venue underwent in the year and 3 months since we booked our date. Suzi and her husband Travis have created a little piece of magic, tucked away on the Potomac River. Rustic, vintage, and warm. Everyone in my family raved about how fantastic the venue was. Thank you, Suzi and Travis, for sharing your little slice of heaven with us for our special day! -

They're very flexible in terms of which vendors you use, but I highly recommend using vendors that know the property and the owners. Thank you for the wonderful memories and a beautiful day!
