If I could give them 10 stars, I would!!! Hiring Pride Maya was literally the best decision I made for our wedding! Emily and Lorenzo were so incredible to work with. They helped me maximize my budget, negotiate great prices with all of my vendors, and get creative on how to best utilize every aspect of our multi-day wedding weekend. They were the ones who recommended almost every vendor we ended up using and every single one was incredible. They were super responsive and helped me get answers from my venue when the hotel wasn't answering my emails -- they were the boots on the ground that I needed planning a destination Indian-American fusion wedding! The wedding went so smoothly thanks to their attention to detail and seamless coordination. I seriously cannot recommend them enough. Andy and Lorenzo worked with us for our destination wedding planning journey and we have 0 regrets. They listened to us with budget needs and gave us great vendor recommendations since we aren't from the area. They went above and beyond with buying all of our customized favors and helping us pack every guests welcome bag. the day of our wedding Andy saved my photos by running up to our room to grab my veil! They saved me in so many ways and we couldn't have had such a beautiful wedding without them. If you're having a wedding in Riviera Maya don't hesitate to hire this team, they are amazing! -

I am so glad we hired Pride Maya Weddings to help plan our destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico. We primarily worked with Emily and also Lorenzo, who were both very friendly and helpful. Even though the resort provided us with a wedding coordinator, it was still worth it to hire PMW for a few reasons. First, they have done so many weddings in the area that they know who to recommend as vendors for decor, florals, photography, hair and makeup, etc. Instead of trying to find vendors in a different country on my own, PMW sent me a smaller list of recommended vendors to consider for each category. It made my life much easier to narrow the field of possibilities. Our venue hotel also had certain "in-house" vendors and charges a hefty fee for each external vendor used. But after getting a very high floral and decor quote from the hotel's in-house vendor, PMW recommended that we could likely find a better deal by going with an outside vendor, even with the extra fee. I'm happy we had their guidance on this because it ultimately saved us money while still using a great vendor who provided beautiful florals and decor. Second, Emily handled all the communications with our outside vendors in the final few weeks leading up to the wedding, like confirming arrival times and the day-of schedule with each vendor. This was so helpful as she really handled all the vendor coordination, and it was one less thing for me to worry about as the bride. Third, Emily helped us with the planning process during a few video calls leading up to the wedding, where she prompted us to make decisions about different elements of the ceremony and reception. Emily also attended our final planning meetings with the resort and helped us navigate some last-minute changes proposed by the venue. -

We had a wonderful experience working with Lorenzo, Andy, and the Pride Maya team. They were professional, responsive, and truly helped bring our vision to life. With limited design experience on my end, Lorenzo did an incredible job translating a few inspiration photos into a beautifully executed vision. One of the things we appreciated most was how thoughtful they were in recommending vendors—they really helped us weigh the pros and cons of each option, which made the planning process so much easier. This was immensely helpful since we were planning from afar.
Lorenzo was so gracious in offering help when we ran into a hiccup with the makeup artist and resort fees and also helped recommend a travel agency to help with our room block. Thanks to their support, our wedding day ran smoothly, and we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment without stress.
Everything came together beautifully, and we’re incredibly grateful for their hard work in making our celebration so memorable! -

My wife Lena and I had a great experience working with the Pride Maya team (Emily, Lorenzo, Andy, Gustavo). Their local expertise, quick responsiveness, and careful work helped us greatly in planning our destination wedding. They were crucial in helping us find every vendor - and vendors that matched our vision for the wedding. For example, they helped us evaluate different venue options and helped us find a location (Riviera Maya Haciendas in Puerto Aventuras) that was perfect for our vision. They also did a great job helping us understand our progress and timeline, and helping us manage the emotions of the process. The wedding day itself went smoother than we could have expected, as the team managed all the moving pieces seamlessly. We loved our wedding and the whole experience! The PMW team was a major part of why it at went so well, as a result of their warmth, knowledge, thoroughness, and joy for the process. We got married on 2/22/25 at Villa La Joya and we couldn’t have done it without PMW. Over a year ago, we were interviewing wedding planners and as soon as we met Lorenzo, we cancelled the rest of our interviews. We knew he was “the one”— he just got us immediately and understood our vision.
When we met Lorenzo, we didn’t have a wedding venue nor a date, and he helped us pick both out quickly. His expert guidance allowed us to quickly narrow down and select all our vendors and his advice never led us astray. Lorenzo even went above and beyond to help us find a hotel block and venues for the other events during our wedding weekend. Once we had all our vendors nailed down, we quickly met Emily, who handled literally everything for us.
I cannot emphasize enough how helpful the PMW team was. My husband and I are both extremely busy with our careers, and the PMW team handled every detail of the wedding day for us making it as seamless as possible. They were our “boots on the ground”, handling everything from confirming vendors, creating timelines, relaying updates, coordinating payments, helping us make decisions, providing us guidance on every little detail, and more. I knew as long as Lorenzo & Emily were present, I didn’t have to worry because they “got” our vision and would make sure the rest of the vendors executed it.
I know we were not the easiest clients — we had many different ideas and opinions that were all over the place — but Emily & Lorenzo never made us feel like our requests were annoying or outlandish. They got excited about all our ideas and made every little request come to life. They blended our styles seamlessly and the day came together perfectly.
The day of the event, everything went off without a hitch. Their day-of team was extremely supportive, in a good mood, and never once got annoyed with us. They were professional and truly had every little thing handled.

I reached out to Pride Maya Weddings when I first got engaged to my now, husband. Lorenzo was friendly and responsive from the get-go. His team were always supportive, helpful and flexible whenever I had my bridal panics or anxiety about anything wedding related. Towards the end, I worked closely with Emily who was my ANGEL IN DISGUISE. She kept me calm the whole process and especially on my wedding day. She was very organized (I’m a very type A person so I loved/needed this) and whenever I had an emergency or forgot something she immediately calmed me down and went ahead and got it done. The reviews are what brought me to Pride Maya Weddings and let me start by saying, they were 100% accurate! Some people say “wedding planning is so stressful” and it can be at times, however, we had the best experience working with PMW to create our magical wedding day! Lorenzo was the first contact and due to the wedding season schedule, we were placed in the hands of Emily. I have never been so pleased with a process than we were with her! She fully executed every detail of what was envisioned! After many emails, Zoom calls, and an in-person visit pre-wedding, our wedding day was AMAZING! Our pre-wedding visit was wonderful as we got to meet Lorenzo and Gustavo, as well as several of our vendors along with a visit to our venue, Villa La Joya. We had the absolute BEST overall experience with pride maya wedding group! From the very beginning they made us feel at ease and comfortable with the whole wedding planning process and connected us with incredible vendors. They were easy to talk to and fun to work with! It made us look forward to every collaboration/meeting. They gave us a breakdown of everything to come and let us know what to prepare for through the entirety of the planning. I would absolutely recommend Pride Maya Weddings!! Lorenzo and his team were with me every step of the way while wedding planning from helping me find a venue, helping me determine how much to tip and everything in between.
The entire PMW team were very responsive, responding to my messages promptly regardless of the time of day (especially important for those wedding planning while also working a regular 9-5 job!!).
Since I had a destination wedding, I leaned heavily on Lorenzo to help me find quality local vendors within my budget - I was very impressed with every single vendor I worked with, it was also extra helpful to have a vendor team that had strong relationships with PMW. Lorenzo was especially helpful when I needed help being decisive - using his past experiences and the knowledge of my vision to steer me in the right direction.
PMW also went above and beyond by helping to plan our rehearsal dinner and welcome party. Our rehearsal dinner location canceled day of the wedding (a shock to us all) and Lorenzo and Emily were quick to help us pivot and stay calm - never would have been able to handle such a "hiccup" without them!
Also - special shoutout to Emily who was always happy to hop on a facetime with me to talk through ideas and to do lists. Emily's attention to detail was unparalleled! I was nervous about my own ability to relax and enjoy my wedding day however Emily made me confident that I had nothing to worry about, and if she caught me stressing was quick to tell me to stop and enjoy the day while she and the PMW handled everything.
If I were to do it all over again, I would do it exactly the same and 10000% would have PMW on my team! -

We found Pridemaya off Tik Tok after discovering our venue. We were immediately impressed on how quickly Lorenzo responded when we sent out a request for a meeting for our wedding to plan. From Day 1 Lorenzo and his team were on top of it sending us amazing options for vendors and anytime we had a vision on adding something special they just nailed it. I am truly pleased on how graceful my wedding day was and received so many compliments from my family and friends on how well coordinated everything was ! Lorenzo, Emily, Gustavo, and the team at PMW were so helpful to execute our dream wedding in Riviera Maya at the Fairmont Mayakoba. Lorenzo had excellent recommendations, but also helped us reach out to vendors we had researched independently that he hasn't worked with before. Planning a wedding thousands of miles away (from NYC), in our second language made the PMW even more valuable. They were so critical in making sure all of our expectations for vendors were communicated. They sent emails, hosted video calls, chatted via WhatsApp nearly constantly with us for months. Lorenzo, Emily, and their whole team are absolutely AMAZING! Within minutes of chatting with Lorenzo on the phone almost 16 months ago, I knew I had found the wedding planner of my dreams! I was so nervous to choose a wedding planner that I had never met in person before, but I instantly felt safe in his hands and knew he would help us plan the destination wedding I had always dreamed of. From helping us choose a location to recommending a travel agency to work with during our first few meetings, I already knew I had made the best decision for our wedding (besides saying yes to my now husband!). Through our zoom calls and whatsapp messaging, they understood the type of person/bride I am and helped me choose vendors that would be a perfect fit (e.g., photographers that would make me feel comfortable and laugh throughout the day!). Emily and Lorenzo also helped me create wedding mood boards to help focus my vision and help the vendors make our dreams a reality! Every vendor and even the hotel we worked with all had amazing things to say about Lorenzo and his team and that made us feel even more confident that we were working with the best wedding planners ever! Not only did they help with choosing the perfect vendors, but they helped negotiate contracts / pricing for us. I didn’t realize I was Type A until I started to plan my wedding, but Emily stepped in and calmed every anxious thought I had during the planning process. She was so efficient and organized — helping me with spreadsheets, timelines, to do lists, and more. When my now husband and I came for our site visit after a crazy travel situation, I could not have been more excited to have Emily with us at the hotel to ask all the right questions, take detailed notes/photos/videos, emoji-filled tasting reviews, and start envisioning all of the wedding day details! She helped us think of small details like custom bar napkins and foam light up sticks that our guests are still talking about. During the last couple of months leading up to wedding day, the Pride Maya Wedding team worked directly with the hotel coordinator and all of the vendors to create timelines, ensure everyone had security access and all necessary equipment/etc, and confirmed everything. Even when it was hard to get ahold of our officiant in the months leading up to the wedding, Emily picked up the phone and called herself — with Lorenzo and Emily reassuring me that it would all work out (and it seriously did!).
When it came to actual wedding day, my maid of honor told me that she was nervous herself because I wasn’t anxious or nervous at all— but it’s because I knew I was in great hands with Emily, Lorenzo, and the whole team! The day went by in a blur of smiles/laughter/dancing/happiness, and I never had to worry or even think about a single thing. Emily, Lorenzo, and Gustavo kept everything moving on time and without a hitch! My husband and I are constantly hearing from friends and family that it was the best wedding ever and now even 2 weeks later are still talking about how much fun they had and how beautiful it was! I wish I could go back and relive every moment of our wedding day because it turned out more beautiful, fun, and perfect than I could have ever imagined. They created the most beautiful table settings that I am still in awe and drooling over all the photos. The only thing I am sad about post wedding is not getting to catch up with Emily and Lorenzo and hear about their own amazing travels! I wouldn’t change a single thing about our wedding and thats all thanks to Pride Maya Weddings! -

Pride Maya was the best decision my husband and I made to ensure our wedding this past November 19th was absolutely amazing!
I contacted Lorenzo in March 2023, after we had a falling out with our previous all-inclusive hotel wedding venue, through his website's form, I was extremely surprised at how he had sent an extensive and detailed email within a few hours. We scheduled an introductory call that same week and we knew that Lorenzo was our wedding planner right away. His responsiveness, honest feedback, and his/his team's utmost respect for our wants & needs for the wedding were a breath of fresh air. This was not a one-time deal, after we contracting with Pride Maya, Lorenzo, Gustavo, and Emily were always available and communicative within the time frames stipulated in the contract. Lorenzo, Gustavo, and Emily were always respectful of what we wanted and provided us with the best vendors according to what we were looking for. We had a multi-cultural wedding that we adjusted to our standards & desires and the Pride Maya team was always understanding and accommodating to what we were looking for.
Meetings with Lorenzo and Emily to coordinate with vendors and wedding-day activities were smooth and truly enjoyable. It truly felt as if I was talking with friends who were able to both respect my wedding decor/decision goals but provided excellent guidance. The feedback on vendors was spot on; Pride Maya understands that you are their client and they do not play favorite with the vendors at your expense. ALL of the vendors that we ended up choosing were highly recommended and carefully filtered by Lorenzo.
I truly loved my wedding day, I was not worried at any moment about the quality of the team I was working with, both from Pride Maya and the vendors that Lorenzo carefully screens before working with them. I was wowed by Lorenzo's/Pride Maya's standards across the board, from brainstorming, to planning to wedding day operations.
EVERYTHING about our wedding day was absolutely special. We have received (& continue to) amazing feedback from our family and friends from the high quality of our vendors to how smooth everything went during our wedding day. All of this was made possible by Lorenzo, Gustavo, Emily, and Christina.

Best wedding team of all time!
When choosing to get married in the Riviera Maya, I knew I would need a good wedding planner/coordinator since it would be an international wedding. I reached out to a few companies and I got a response within 20 minutes from Lorenzo at Pride Maya. He was truly with me every step of the way. He set us up with a travel agent to pick where we wanted to stay and helped us choose a venue. Then we tackled the vendor list. One by one he sent me options and then put me into contact with the ones I liked. Making the whole process seamless and less daunting. From there I met Emily one of his team members, and a true angel! I just adore her!!! These two helped communicate to all the vendors and held my hand every step of the way. Always available through what’sap they helped tremendously. Then the wedding day hit, and so did the torrential downpour …. They helped keep me calm and as dry as possible. They made sure everything was getting set up as I wanted it and coordinated the day with the many vendors. Even after they were done for the night and had left I wanted the transportation to come a little sooner than planned and Emily was on it! If you’re thinking about getting married in the riviera maya area, stop your search now because you’ve found the best wedding team of all time! -

Lorenzo and his team made our destination wedding dreams come true! When we started planning our destination wedding, we did not know where to begin. From the very beginning, they sourced excellent vendors and kept everything in order on the day of the wedding! When I first started planning my wedding, I really wanted to hire Pride Maya for my planning and at that time they were already booked with another client. I was so sad and ended up hiring someone else. Long story short, the person I hired was a horrible wedding planner. Something told me to email Pride Maya again just to see if they were still booked the weekend I plan to get married. The universe heard my prayers and the couple that hired them that day ended up eloping and didn't need them for that weekend after all. Lorenzo (one of Pride Maya's planners) and I both knew it was fate!! The day I fired my other planner, I hired Pride Maya. Since that day I've been in great hands. I might not have been the best bride due to my schedule (working two jobs) but every time I had a question or concern about the wedding, Lorenzo would answer me right away. During the wedding planning process, major life things occurred and I had to cut my wedding budget almost in half super close to my wedding date. Pride Maya helped me so much during this time because we still wanted to have a wedding but now had a drastically smaller budget. Right away Lorenzo helped me decide where to cut costs. I couldn't of had this wedding without Pride Maya. I am so grateful for everything they've done to help plan this wedding and so grateful that they were able to work with my hectic schedule. On April 8th, 2023 I had the wedding of my dreams! All of my guests said that my wedding was the most beautiful wedding they've ever been to. Everything was AMAZING. The food, the drinks, the music! That day was magical and I owe it all to my planners. THANK YOU! I would also like to mention that even after my wedding, I am still communicating with Lorenzo about my wedding photographs. He's reached out to my photographer on my behalf to find out when I will be getting a first look at my photos. Dream team for a dream wedding!
My husband and I started working with PMW in March 2022 after we had booked our venue. We were planning a wedding at Villa La Joya in Playa del Carmen for 200 guests. Lorenzo, Emily & Gustavo were always a text or Whatsapp message away for any questions or concerns that we had (even when Lorenzo would be visiting Italy)! On a random trip to Cancun, I even reached out to Emily on Whatsapp an hour before landing because I needed last minute transporation to Tulum and she had a driver waiting for us at the airport!
It was SO easy picking out vendors with their help. When a vendor was a little out of budget, they would find another similar that was in range. If they hadn't heard of a vendor, they will do their own research to see what they can find. Once we picked the vendors, it was smooth sailing!
3 months away from the wedding, we had a zoom meeting, and I even told them, "I don't feel like I'm as stressed as I should be."
Wedding day came along, and Ben and I could not believe how PERFECT the day was. I literally had no stress or anxiety the day of. After the wedding, they also put all of our things together and just packed it into a van for us, so we didn't have to do anything!
Thank you so much, Lorenzo, Emily & Gustavo. Our wedding was literally a dream come true and it is all thanks to y'all!! Ben and I wish we could just re-live that night over again because it was so perfect!! -

I hired Lorenzo after having a disappointing experience with another planner who had far more reviews and was more popular. That vendor was unresponsive and disorganized. I didnt have a good feeling from our first interactions so I decided to look for someone else. So, I came onto Wedding Wire and found Lorenzo and Pride Maya. From the beginning, he was super responsive, friendly and informative. I got great vibes from him and was happy to hire his company. I met Lorenzo and Gustavo a couple months after hiring them when we went to Mexico on a planning trip. They spent the whole day with me showing different venues for our welcome party and offering their suggestions and opinions. As the months progressed, the company was growing with more weddings, so they made the smart decision to hire additional help for the team. His assistant Emily became my main point of contact and she was super great. She would always answer my whatsapp messages in a timely manner and would make time for calls. She would listen to my ideas and help with recommendations and suggestions. The week of wedding, the team was there for my vendor walk through, the rehearsal, the welcome party and of course the big day. I would definitely recommend hiring Pride Maya. They have a lot of good contacts and experience. I think its important to use vendors that your planner trusts and has had experience working with. It wasn't easy to find the right wedding planner but when I came across Lorenzo I knew he was "the one!" no pun intended. I don't know where to begin. It's hard to think I started planning this wedding last February (2021) and just got back from the best week of my life in Playa del Carmen. Last year I hired Pride Maya Weddings to help me plan my wedding all the way from Charlotte, North Carolina and I am so glad I did. It was truly amazing - it overhwhelmed my expectations. I always knew I wanted to have a destination wedding but I had no clue where to start. I knew PMW would be perfect because within 10 minutes of reaching out to Lorenzo, he began sending me venue options. PMW made the planning process so much easier. They referred me to the most amazing vendors that were within our budget. From start to finish Lorenzo and his team was very responsive. They helped us resolve every issue we ran into on our wedding day from not being able to get into our room to get ready, my mom forgetting her dress at the resort, and helping a couple of our guest who had a little too much fun get back to the resort safely. The weather wasn’t the best on our wedding day, it rained a lot before our ceremony. Lorenzo and his team was on it and provided us with different alternatives for the ceremony and reception. Lorenzo is a star. From the beginning, Lorenzo was incredibly enthusiastic and armed with ideas on ideas for how to make our wedding as unique to us as possible. When we contacted Lorenzo, it was approximately 2 weeks before our wedding date, crazy I know! Although the date was right around the corner Lorenzo started working quickly and got us in contact with Alba who assisted us with our planning.
We squared away all of our details in the first couple of days of contact. The communication and attention to detail of both Lorenzo and Alba was phenomenal!
When it came to our wedding day there was not a thing out of place. The morning of, we were both calm and very excited. We knew that everything was taken care of and we had not a thing to worry about. When we arrived at the cenote things just got better. It was gorgeous and such an intimate location. Although we were having a civil ceremony, Alba went out of her way and orchestrated a beautiful exchanging of vows and symbolic ceremony for us as well. Our photographer Carlos took the most amazing photos and documented our special day perfectly.
Although our original plan was to do everything on our own, the quality and attention to detail provided was exceptional and I am so extremely glad and thankful we chose Lorenzo, Alba and their team to be apart of our wedding!
I would highly recommend them to any of my family or friends and look forward to working with them in the future for other events! -

I started looking around on Wedding Wire for someone to help us coordinate a small ceremony in the Playa Del Carmen area. I found Pride Maya and after reading Lorenzo's reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I could not have been happier with my decision! It was really important to us to actually be married in Mexico (not go to the courthouse in the US before). Lorenzo handled every detail to make that happen for us. His communication from start to finish was quick and outstanding. A couple of weeks before our wedding he reached out to let us know that there was alot of seaweed on the beach we had originally planned to have the ceremony on. He came up with an alternative, which was a place in Tulum that was still within our budget. He jumped in and got everything moved for us and the venue was absolutely stunning. Even better than we could have dreamed of. I loved working with Lorenzo, but so did our whole family! He is kind and easy going. He really just wants to make your day special. The other thing that we were extremely pleased with were his vendors that he works with. The florist, the photographer, the videographer. Everyone was amazing and extremely professional.
