The most amazing people ever
They were professional and on time they set multiple meetings to bring my dreams alive. Ivory house events helped with my bridal shower. Not only were they amazing to work with but they were detailed and on time. They made sure I felt taken care of and set up multiple meetings to make sure that I had the best possible day. The day of I had no worries. I dropped all the decorations off to them days prior and I didn’t even have the give the day a second thought because everything was perfect by the time I got thereThey were professional and on time they set multiple meetings to bring my dreams alive. Ivory house events helped with my bridal shower. Not only were they amazing to work with but they were detailed and on time. They made sure I felt taken care of and set up multiple meetings to make sure that I had the best possible day. The day of I had no worries. Life Saver!!!
Let me just say no one really thinks you need a wedding coordinator until last min you realize you’re suffocating trying to figure out everything on your own!
Steph was such a life saver!
She literally helped me with everything and anything. Even sat on the phone and let me vent about things that weren’t going the way I had planned. lol. And then reassured me everything would be perfect.
I am a very detailed, organized person and steph wrote down every detail I envisioned in my mind along with all the pintrist photos I sent to her. And delivered exactly what I wanted day of the wedding.
She help me create my wedding timeline. She decorated the ceremony and venue. Although my bridal party and I didn’t get dressed together she offered to steam/iron the bridal party’s attire. She helped fluff my dress for wedding photos. She replenished my food for me at the reception. She even cut my wedding cake for me and stayed to help clean up!
Bottom line Steph was very attentive to not only me but my husband to be . Made sure everything went as planned!
So to everyone who’s second guessing if they even need a coordinator, because they think they can do it all on their own, think again! Coordinators are there to help you relax on your big day! Amazing Coordinators!
Paula and Stephanie were AMAZING!!! They went above and beyond to help make sure our wedding day went smoothly. They were both extremely professional but also made us feel so comfortable. With the rain changing our plans, they both jumped right in and did anything new I had requested (such as moving things inside from outside and vice versa) that was not originally planned for. I even had a cold and they kept my vapor nose spray and also lipgloss in their pockets for me to ask for whenever I needed it. They helped with the little things to the big things and everything in between and we could not be more grateful! I highly recommend booking them for your wedding day to ensure you can enjoy your wedding while they tend to the not so fun details!Paula and Stephanie were AMAZING!!! Incredible service; quite literally invaluable
I could be brought to tears thinking about all of the things Stephanie and Paula did to make my wedding day perfect. I want to start by saying I initially was questioning the value of having their services as I (no to brag) killed wedding planning on my own. HOWEVER having these two rockstars allowed me to enjoy my wedding day and really soak up all the special moments we dream of as little girls. Stephanie and Paula helped me with so much that we discussed in advance, and a million things that came up during the day. I had a decent sized wedding party and we would have been a disaster without them. Helping with girls dresses, making sure everyone was eating drinking, getting to the buses on time, making sure I had everything I need at every single moment. I had a mishap with my DJ, Stephanie handled it before it was noticed by my guests. I wanted to get more pictures, Paula made sure to keep my wedding party close and communicated with my photographers that I wasn’t satisfied yet and to continue to present ideas to me. My toasting Tiffany champagne glasses got taken with the regular glassware, Stephanie tracked it down washed and secured them away to avoid happening again. I honestly can’t say enough incredible things about these ladies and the services they have to offer. If you’re considering like I was, it’s worth it. I Would definitely recommend this wedding coordinator business . Without the help of Stephanie I would’ve been lost she was very attentive ! Helped me getting dress and assured I was doing well the whole day offering me water etc. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have had any photos with my beautiful long train as she was there to fix it every second of the day ! Steph also ensured our rooms where cleaned up before we returned to our suits and decorated for my husband and I ! She also ensured my son was in good hands and took care of any valuable items I needed her to take back to the room . She ensured everything went smoothly and as planned . Despite the few employees who were a bit rude -Steph handled it well and was very professional . I want to be Emily's best friend
I don't even know where to begin with Emily. I was a super prepared bride and believe me when I say I would still be crying months after my wedding if Emily wasn't there. Emily was on top of everything, I mean EVERYTHING. The fire alarm went off in the middle of bridal entrance at my wedding, and we had to evacuate. She checked in with me asking how I'm feeling, and if I'm okay, which I told her I'm okay but my husband was upset, and she asked what can she do to make him calm down, which I was just amazed by her professionalism in the middle of a potential emergency! Like there might be actual fire and she's like, "My bride and groom, what can I do for you?" She was superwoman.
The fire alarm also set the wedding timeline back which made me lose sense of timing for the rest of the events, and Emily was there telling me exactly when we needed to be where. I was a helpless baby duck following her mama.
Emily and Mel brought tools and stuff that I didn't even think of like the hook for my wedding dress to be hung on the window, zip ties, scissors, rubber bands, super glue, it was like a magic fanny pack! They even emptied the gift box into our "secret" trader joe's bag throughout the night like ninjas! My mom's shoe broke, Emily was there to fix it, I wanted my bubble gun on the dance floor, she made sure I got it.
The only minor complaint I had was that the company didn't have separate email addresses for each coordinator so before the wedding, it was cumbersome to communicate through a email line that had to be forwarded to my team separately, so it made me a little nervous the team understood my very long confusing timeline, but at the end, it showed that they understood the assignment and beyond!I don't even know where to begin with Emily. Really appreciated the extra step!!!
I really appreciated the little details that I didn’t even thing of that were addressed. For instance, Day of the wedding my dress has a stitch that unraveled and the wedding planner Mrs. Bahamon, had a sowing kit on hand and sowed my dress. I was able to enjoy my night without feeling self conscious. She was also very timely and this helped the day go smoothly and honestly reduced stress. She had a prep kit that was really useful for when you forget to bring a Bobby pin or hair spray etc.I really appreciated the little details that I didn’t even thing of that were addressed. For the Type A Bride
I cannot stress how happy I am for hiring Ivory House Events to coordinate my wedding. I am very type A and they executed everything to the T, exactly as I would have done. Paula & Stephanie were the best! I shopped around and got a few quotes from other day of planners that we're 2k and up. Their packages were beyond reasonable. They made me feel at ease every step of the way. There were so many unexpected things that happened and I am glad they were there to take care of it all. My bridal party felt like royalty by how we were catered to all day long. Hands down the best!I cannot stress how happy I am for hiring Ivory House Events to coordinate my wedding. If you did not hire a full wedding planning service, you need a "day of coordinator" aside from the venue staff. Amazing Team
I was the Maid of Honor at my best friend's wedding this past October & Stephanie was our coordinator. She was amazing! There was so much going on that day, so many little things you don't realize till day the of the wedding. While we were getting ready, she steamed our dresses, assisted with photos, and made sure we had food & of course, DRINKS. This took away so much pressure from me, she did all the running around for me and the bride. She was the nicest person also; no request was too much. Best Day-of Coordinators EVER! 3.24.2023
Ivory House Events was truly the best decision for a Day-of-coordinator that we could've made! Paula and Stephanie from the VERY beginning gave us such a good feeling and both were able to be bilingual in Spanish and English (which was super important for us because my family is Dominican) which was just the icing on the cake for us. They not only catered to us as a couple throughout the day, but even with all the small hiccups happening they were able to talk with family, and just make sure we had the best day ever and we TRULY did! The day was so MAGICAL and the attention to detail and watching everything I planned come into execution so perfectly... I genuinely believe no one could have done the job better if it was not them! So thank you Paula and Stephanie for going above and beyond for us! Every detail was truly appreciated, loved, and admired.
