I took my gay little ass to the Plain with Sprinkles website for the first time in November 2023, two weeks after proposing, and haven’t had a single moment of regret since. Do I need to say more? No, but I will.
We considered the early days of planning to be the dark ages. We were unsure if our wildest dreams were reasonable, possible, or even okay to ask vendors to do. We contacted Erin with our Valentine’s Day wedding theme idea and she was immediately on board. We told Erin that if people walked away saying that was the tackiest wedding they’d ever been to, we’d be happy. Erin did not hesitate for a moment to help us make this vision a reality.
We went with the Plain with a Cherry package. We were an eager couple wanting to get things done as soon as possible. Not only did Erin help us relax, but she was shockingly available for any questions we had along the way as we moved through the first year and a half of planning. The PWS planning materials made available to us after booking were super helpful and we followed many of their suggestions (including vendors) with great success. The last 6 months of planning, things really ramped up and Erin was essential to making things happen. Things went smooth as butter… until about 3 weeks before the big day when we realized we could no longer work with one of our vendors due to all around irresponsible business ownership. Not only did Erin reassure us but she and her whole team (Amber and Sierra specifically) worked overtime to make sure we wouldn’t even notice there had been such a big change by the time of the wedding day.
Erin told us early on to “trust the magic.” We followed this advice, and when the day came we felt like we were floating through the most perfect day of our lives. We had so much fun not only cashing in on all of our big plans, but checking in with Erin throughout the day to make sure we were on the same page and had the ability to tweak anything we needed to.
Erin and her team handled our wedding expertly and with so much genuine excitement for our happiest day ever. I shudder at the thought of what this wedding would have been like without this team. Thank you all so much, we are eternally thankful. Much love, The Valentines -

I can't even express how much we LOVED working with Amber and Sierra from PWS to plan our dream wedding. Our situation was somewhat unique as a catastrophic hurricane hit the area 3 days before our original wedding date but they managed to still pull off every single detail a year and day after when it was supposed to be! By the end of everything we really felt like family and I've actually quite missed our meetings and phone calls... if we ever decide to do a vow renewal we absolutely know who to call. I CANNOT recommend this team enough! I have a background in design and had a very specific vision in mind for a victorian/gothic wedding and they gave me all of that and then some!! I wish I could relive the day over and over again. -

What an outstanding group of talented, passionate, fun, kick‑a$$ people. We cannot rave hard enough about PWS. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Amber and can honestly say our wedding would not have been as memorable and wildly successful as it was without her.
Amber was so fun and brought such positive energy from the very beginning. She kept things lighthearted and was our guiding light throughout the planning process. Day‑of, she totally killed it —managing our bridal party with grace and working all sorts of magic behind the scenes to create a seamless, stress‑free, and perfect day for us. From MacGyvering broken props, to sewing loose seams, to her being our last minute getaway driver at the end of the night, all those little moments made the day that much more memorable.
On top of it all, Amber and the PWS team are true LGBTQ+ supporters and epic allies. We felt completely seen, celebrated, and cared for every step of the way. We are beyond grateful for her and the entire PWS team! -

If you're looking at this review and waffling about 1) whether to diy your day or book a wedding coordinator; AND/OR 2) whether that coordinator should be Plain with Sprinkles, allow me to make your decision for you: BOOK NOW YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!
My partner and I worked with Erin (PWS HBIC) for three years on curating our personal, cozy wedding and I truly had so much fun doing it, which is not something most people would say about wedding planning. Living in Pittsburgh and getting married in WNC, it was so great to visit Asheville and have a built-in friend to meet for beers and talk shop. When WNC was impacted by Helene a few weeks before our wedding date, we knew we didn't want to move forward without PWS, so we postponed our celebration to the next year. During that year, Erin took a break from weddings and dedicated energy to help Hot Springs grieve and recover. Despite the horrible impacts of the hurricane, Erin's actions show that PWS truly and deeply values community above all else and only solidified our decision to work with them.
The money we spent on PWS wedding coordination is incalculable. I truly cannot put a price on time saved, in addition to:
- eye strain via online vendor research, saved by PWS' built-in, queer-friendly vendor list
- sleepless nights spent stressing, calmed by a quick call to utilize Erin's knowledge and experience with event planning
- wedding day stress, freed through Erin's deftness with family dynamics, problem-solving skills, and bow-tying abilities -

We had a fabulous experience with PWS. We worked with Amber, a total homie, to pull together a semi-traditional wedding celebration with lots of moving parts out on Bearwallow Mountain. Amber was thrown by nothing. "You want to bring in all vintage, breakable plates and figure out how to wash them on the mountain before the vendor picks them back up? No problem." "We need to coordinate with a fiddle player and then a band and then a silent disco? Great." "Aunt Forrest is handling the flowers, and your friend is officiating for the first time, and your mom made the desserts? I'll talk to them." She found just the right balance of letting us create what we envisioned, and then providing all of the support we needed on logistics, fine details, and communication. Not to mention that we were working with her through the aftermath of Helene, during which she still somehow made us feel supported. On top of all that, Amber was just plain enjoyable to plan and chat with throughout process. It felt like she could have been on our guest list herself by the time we got to wedding day. The whole PWS website gives off a chill/it's your day/we'll make it happen vibe, and that's totally what we got. Would recommend working with Amber, or any of the PWS team if they all bring that kind of energy. -

Erin was all we could have asked for in a wedding planner. She looked after so many of the details for us, allowing us to focus on each other, and soaking in the joy of getting married to each other, and being with our closest family and friends. Her professionalism was always outstanding, and her dedication to creating safe space for queer couples, and queer families (ours was the latter) was steadfast. If we had a question, Erin was there, whether over text or email. She is equally talented on the logistics side as she is on the emotional regulation/checking in on how we were doing through the whole process. Even in a moment where she had to step in with her expertise and check something we were planning/asking for, she did it with grace, and we greatly benefitted from her bringing her expertise. We would get married again, just to keep working with Erin, and her team. OK, that's a little extra, but truly, if you get the chance to work with Erin + PWS you won't regret it. -

Sierra. Is. The. BEST!!!!!!! I cannot overemphasize how smart, talented, kind, and calming she is!! From day one Sierra went above and beyond with her wedding planning services. We chose the “Just a Scoop” package, which says month-of coordination but is SO much more. Sierra met with us every three months leading up to the wedding (which was over a year of work since we booked her services 15 months out), kept us on track, let us know about things we didn’t know to know about, and provided emotional support the entire way. Throughout our engagement everyone kept asking us if we were stressed out and thanks to Sierra our answer was always no! She kept us smiling and excited through the entire process and helped us spread out the planning work so that we were never overwhelmed. Her capacity to remember a million details at once and stay on top of things is second to none. Not only did Sierra make the planning process a positive experience, she also CRUSHED the day of the wedding!! Sierra helped put the linens on the tables, helped with the floral set up, helped coordinate all our vendors, and even stopped by the hotel our wedding party was getting ready in to pick up anything that needed to be brought to the vendors on the day of. She also is a very talented calligraphist and designer and we hired her services for the seating arrangement signs and dessert displays and they both looked amazing!!! We also booked her polaroid guest book station and not only did she provide and set up everything we needed but she also went around and took photos of our guests, which have given us memories we’ll cherish forever! Hiring Sierra is the best choice anyone could make for their wedding experience. Not only would we choose to work with her again and again, but I’m currently full-court-pressing all my engaged friends to get married in Asheville solely to work with Sierra as a wedding planner! Book her ASAP!! -

My partner Jeff and I recently tied the knot at Brown Mountain Beach Resort in Lenoir, NC, and we owe the seamless execution of our beautiful day (and weekend, honestly) to Erin and her assistant Amber.
We were drawn to PWS by the inclusive, loving language on their website. After our initial call with Erin, we could tell she was going to be the best option when it came to representing our values (love, tolerance, inclusivity, ETC) and have our back throughout the process!
We didn't have a venue decided when we had that first call, and Erin recommended Brown Mountain Beach Resort based on our wish for an outdoor celebration where guests could stay onsite. It was the perfect choice, and I don't know that we would have found it without Erin's recommendation!
From the beginning, Erin's calm and reassuring presence made the entire process a joy. We did the "Just a Scoop" package, which was a great fit for us. The phone check-ins throughout helped us feel like we were running on track. Her organization skills on the day were spot-on, ensuring our day flowed seamlessly without too much input from us. She and her assistant Amber worked together to handle everything from vendor coordination to keeping us on schedule.
In the end, we had a wedding that exceeded our wildest expectations where we were able to remove ourselves from the details and focus on enjoying a damn good party. Erin's expertise and passion for creating unforgettable moments truly made our day special.

PWS and especially Erin, who worked as our coordinator, were probably the most instrumental pieces of making our wedding day as beautiful and as smooth as it was. We chose the ‘plain with a cherry’ package with added design help, and Erin listened to all of our scattered ideas and helped us from the beginning to put everything together and make our wedding come to life. She also met with us throughout the months leading up to our wedding and helped us both with the coordination/planning side and with just making sure that we were feeling and doing okay. Every single time we were feeling overwhelmed or a little crazy, after talking to Erin, we felt instantly more at ease and secure in how things were going. Erin made us feel genuinely cared for and supported throughout the whole planning process and wedding day, and thanks to her, we were able to relax and enjoy knowing that things were in her ultra capable hands!
We found so many of our vendors through PWS, and, as a queer couple, we felt so safe and comfortable knowing that the vendors PWS recommends are vetted and trusted by them. We also luckily got to work with Sierra, too, through her own signage business (Freckles and Ink), but she stayed around and helped with so much on our actual wedding day beyond just the signage! We cannot recommend PWS enough, and we are so, so grateful to them (and especially Erin) for all of the hard work put into us and our day. All of our guests, our parents, and everyone in our wedding party couldn’t stop singing Erin’s praises throughout our wedding day, and we won’t either. :) -

Where to start... We were initially drawn to Plain with Sprinkles by their fun and inclusive website. After our first conversation, we know we were in the best of care with the team. Sierra was our planner and she could not have been a more perfect match for us. As big geeks, Sierra encouraged our geekery and all the little touches and inspirations we might have shied away from really made the day that much more special. Her calm demeanor and organization kept us on task and always made us feel like we were preparing at an appropriate pace, despite family members who would have had us feel otherwise. Speaking of family members, she was also a great buffer and willing to jump in to tell people "no" when we no longer had the strength to do so ourselves. Her wealth of knowledge and connections to the wedding scene ensured we had the best of the best for our big day, while also giving us "permission" to trim things that just weren't that important to us (though they may have been more traditional). The staggering amount of things she was able to accomplish on our wedding day seems herculean, but also meant we were able to enjoy ourselves and be present with each other, rather than worrying about the details. If you're looking to get married, find room in your budget to hire Plain with Sprinkles. They are worth their weight in gold! -

I cannot speak highly enough of PWS. Erin (our planner, not me!) was our wedding planner and she did an absolutely incredible job. We also worked with Sierra, who helped with logistics and communication. We got the "Plain With A Cherry" wedding management package and are so, so glad we did.
PWS was incredibly helpful from the start. We met with Erin virtually several times throughout the year, where she both encouraged and pushed us to make sure we were on track with our planning. She was never judgmental and was always quick to respond and happy to answer our questions, making sure we were taking care of our mental health and not losing sight of the joy we wanted from our wedding.
As a queer couple, it was extremely important for us to trust our planner to understand the unique challenges we faced in planning our wedding and to recommend vendors who were wholeheartedly queer-friendly. This was especially important since we do not live in the area, and PWS was crucial in helping us find reputable vendors who all did an excellent job. Also, if there was ever a vendor who didn't respond quickly, just having PWS on the email would prompt the vendor to reply when needed. And if we forgot to respond to something important, Erin helped us stay accountable by sending us a reminder too.
In the month leading up to the wedding, PWS coordinated our vendors, taking over and answering questions when needed. Erin kept us on the right track and handled numerous logistics, allowing my wife and me to keep working full time right up until the week of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, she was there from the early morning until late at night, coordinating vendors, corralling family, and making sure we had everything we needed (including plenty of water!) More than anything, she never lost sight of our dream: to have a wedding filled with joy, where our guests felt as honored to be there as we were honored to have them attend.
I would highly recommend PWS for anyone planning a wedding in the Asheville area. They are INCREDIBLY worth it. Thank y'all so much! -

You NEED to book PWS for your wedding. I had the immense pleasure of working with Sierra & when I tell you she is a wedding planning goddess, I mean it!!! I went to school for & am an event planner myself so I planned a majority of my wedding, but knew that I wanted to relax a little more before the wedding so I wanted month of coordination leading up to the big day to take over vendor coordination so I could focus on myself & my now husband. Sierra. was. AMAZING. The service we booked ended up being around 8-10 weeks of coordination so she actually helped me finish up the last of my big decisions & planning details before taking over all the vendors herself. It was such a huge relief. I genuinely don’t think my wedding would have been half of what it was without her & I know the other team members at PWS are equally as amazing, so whoever you work with will make your perfect day come true. She listened to all my crazy ideas & honored all the little details I was so particular about beautifully. She also helped easy my mind in times of panic that every bride feels while trying to get everything in order. I’m also familiar with the Asheville/Western NC area but haven’t lived there in some time so she was a huge help decided where to host welcome/after parties as well as other last minute vendors I needed. She also has immaculate taste in decor/set up & made our venue look stunning. I had full trust in her & it totally paid off because my wedding was truly a dream. Honestly I could write an entire novel in how wonderful PWS is, so basically just hire them you will not be disappointed!!!! -

If you are thinking of booking Plain with Sprinkles to help plan your wedding DO IT!! We worked with Erin and she was the most incredible wedding planner! We went with the “Plain with a Cherry” service and it was perfect. Erin checked in with us every 3 months leading up to our wedding and helped us navigate through all the little details that went into planning our wedding. She was so reliable and did a great job communicating with us and all of our vendors. I had zero worries going into our wedding because I knew Erin was on top of everything which was such a great feeling! Not only was Erin super professional, she was also fun, bubbly and the nicest person to work with! Honestly, the thought of a wedding was 3 parts terrifying, 1 part exciting when we started planning (especially because it was in the middle of COVID and one of us was going back to school full-time). Neither I nor my spouse had ever been people to think that our wedding was going to be the best day of our lives, or that it would even run perfectly. Call us cynical (at least one of us is) but we were just going to be happy if the people who showed up had a decent time and were fed. Expectations were not very high.
Amazingly, it was the best day of our lives together. And it was very much the perfect day--everything we had never even dared to hope for. Literally the worst thing that happened was that a groomsman left the Pinot Noir in his trunk (oh no, we went home with two cases of wine!). And this is ALL. THANKS. TO. ERIN!
From the very first call, Erin was there not only to soothe all our worries but also to come up with great ideas and solutions, point us in the right direction, and be the biggest supporter of US in this whole thing. She was never pushy, always had our best interests at heart, and was so organized and collected--even in the middle of one of the busiest wedding seasons ever!
Not only were we planning a wedding from a different state, but we had a backyard, nondenominational ceremony with a reception at a nearby venue and a Thai wedding ceremony during cocktail hour (which she hadn't organized before), complete with the well-meaning but very involved and opinionated relatives. I thought the logistics of this would scare most people (it certainly scared me) but she took it all in stride, asked all the right questions, kept the relatives sated and happy, and ship-shaped us all in line. She was very communicative and on top of all the details, and on the day of, everything ran on time (and actually ahead of schedule!!) which was kind of crazy considering almost everyone was from out of town.
Erin thought of literally everything that could go right and wrong, and prepped for that and even more. She is such a selfless, thoughtful, caring, and amazing human being that we all (and especially the aforementioned well-meaning and opinionated relatives) loved her and thought she was working TOO hard. She and the PWS team went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was the perfect day, and it truly was.
I can't recommend PWS enough to plan and/or coordinate your wedding. She worked with our budget, always kept things real and down to earth, and was our biggest supporter and champion in all of this. Her team is one group of creative, hard-working, and experienced wedding people and you'd be very lucky to have them working with you on your own perfect day. -

You might think that you do not need a wedding planner, but you're wrong. Stop looking now and hire Erin immediately. We worked with Erin for almost two years when planning our wedding and she was amazing from start to finish. She helped us stay on track, introduced us to all of the best vendors, and most importantly, encouraged us to ditch the traditions that we did not love in favor of a day that represented who we were and what we wanted. Seriously, we cannot say enough good things about her. -

We worked with Sierra for our wedding and she was INCREDIBLE. I seriously can't rave enough about how wonderful she is. Through the whole process she kept me sane, gently guided me away from not so great decisions, responded to my emails and texts, met with me and vendors, and coordinated an insane number of logistics day of. She also went above and beyond in so many additional ways, she fixed an error on my menus, conveniently had a cake stand when I forgot one (and didn't even bring it up), always seemed to know when I needed something, and added so many special details to the day that I hadn't even thought of. If you want a true professional who is going to ensure you have YOUR day and not what Pinterest or anyone else thinks your day should look like, PWS and Sierra are the right move. Our day was perfect, and it wouldn't have been without her. -

We planned what would have been (and hopefully will be in 2021) an amazing wedding weekend last May. When we had to make the decision to cancel because of COVID-19, PWS was so amazing and such a solid support system. Erin jumped on everything so quickly that we were able to re-book all of our vendors for May 2021. If that wasn't enough work, my husband and I decided to also keep our wedding date and venue to elope and Erin helped us every step of the way. She made the process fun and stress-free, despite our disappointment at having to reschedule our original celebration with family and friends. She was also able to get the flowers, photography, and catering teams to do a small elopement for two. Erin also married us, which was not originally planned, but was awesome. She put so much into making our small ceremony a wonderful experience. PWS is super great at helping couples create fun celebrations that are tailored to them. They also have great relationships with awesome vendors in the area and are willing to work with new vendors as well. The best part about working with this team is that they are open to everyone, and they take what is important to the couple seriously. Erin helped me connect with a team of vendors who were women-owned businesses and support the LGBTQ community which was extremely important to me and my husband. Basically, I can't say enough positive things about Erin and PWS! -

We found Erin (Plain with Sprinkles) when we were originally planning to have our wedding in/around Asheville. She was super friendly from the get-go and even met to have coffee with us to help us learn more about her services. We ended up getting married around Boone instead, and Erin was open to travel. The checklist and timeline Erin created on Aisle Planner were super helpful to make sure we were staying on track and getting everything done. Erin always supported us in our non-traditional desires for our wedding - she always encouraged us that we were making the right decision for us, regardless of what our friends or family might have to say. We appreciated her recommendations for vendors and even more so because she vets all of her vendors to ensure they are LGBTQ+ friendly. Erin was also very mindful of our budget and helped us stick to it. On the day of our wedding we met Erin's assistant, Sierra, who was also super awesome in making our big day perfect. We would highly recommend Plain with Sprinkles to anyone considering getting a planner for their wedding (and we definitely recommend getting a planner)! -

Plain with sprinkles was our lifeline during our planning process and during the actual wedding day. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail was in place, even checking in to see how we were feeling, what we wanted to eat and drink and when, and keeping us on track with doing what we wanted on our big day. They were like an extremely organized best friend that somehow made the best day of your life as carefree as possible and as smooth as possible. Without them I am sure our day would not have been as wonderful as it was, I can’t suggest enough how important it is to book Plain With Sprinkles, you won’t regret a single moment of your time with them. -

OH MY GOSH Sierra was a GODSEND for our wedding. Being in the wedding industry, I told myself I didn't really need a planner. Holy cow was I wrong and I feel so grateful and fortunate to have had Sierra supporting us in the lead up and day of. Not having to double check and confirm things with vendors? Not worrying about the timeline? Knowing someone else was managing all aspects and I just had to enjoy the day? I think I could write a million words about how CRUCIAL (and amazing) Erin and PWS was to the planning and outcome of my wedding. The joy of an engagement can quickly be buried under the pressures of planning a wedding, and I, more than once, wished we’d just elope. But my partner and I chose to bring our families together on this day and the pressure of it all was crushing me. It wasn’t until I brought in Plain with Sprinkles that I felt a weight lift off my shoulders and found any semblance of joy in the planning process.
I am what some might call a “control freak.” But Erin worked with me – joining in on all my shared spreadsheets even though she has a wonderful and professional system of her own. Not only did she KNOW my vision for my gloomy, moody winter wedding, but she took the time to understand the things that were most important to me so that they received the care, attention, and energy I needed them to so I could “let it go.” She also helped me navigate through a lot of the traditional aspects of wedding planning that I chose to keep, or more often than not, chose to disregard (which she reassured me would not be the end of the world). THIS IS NOT YOUR GRANDMOTHER’S WEDDING – I was constantly reminded by Erin to have MY wedding to celebrate the love and respect between me and my partner.
Erin does not come alone. She has pack of equally talented, professional, respectful, down-to-earth, people-loving, love-loving vendors in her network that she pulled in to make my vision a reality. I can’t say more about her character and of those she brings in to work with you. No one blows smoke up your ass; no one is out to rob you blind; no one is there to judge you or the wedding choices that you and your partner make. Nothing is more evident than their commitment to celebrating love in the unique forms that love comes in.
For me this was a moody, gloomy, elegant, winter wedding (with a Game of Thrones nod) that I wanted to drip with romance, passion, and intimacy. I wanted our family and friends to see the love my partner and I had for each other because truthfully, we’re pretty private people. Less talky, more showy is how I needed it to be and Erin pulled it all together. With no fewer than ten vendors to juggle, Erin and her team at Plain with Sprinkles pulled off the wedding I couldn’t have dreamed of. [Not to mention, for half the budget other coordinators told me I’d need to host a wedding at our venue.]
So lastly, if you don’t know if you want/need a coordinator – get one. Particularly Erin. PWS has packages for all budgets and needs, and I promise you, your sanity, your spouse, and your close relationships will be better for it. Enjoy getting married. And enjoy meeting these amazing humans who will feel like family by the end.

Do yourself a favor, book Plain With Sprinkles right now before you book anything else or make any other plans. We were debating whether we could afford day-of coordination with a tight budget but by the end of it all we realized we couldn't afford NOT to have Erin in our corner. Seriously - her advice, connections, planning tools & resources, the fact that she was willing and able to meet with vendors when we couldn't, and the level of emotional support she provided at the end when it started to get intense - PRICELESS.
As a lesbian couple planning a wedding in North Carolina while based in L.A. we were admittedly a little apprehensive about running into vendors who might not appreciate or recognize our relationship. I called Erin because she has "Love is Love." front-and-center on her website and she MEANS it. Erin is a FIERCE LGBTQ+ ally in the BEST way - she makes a point of vetting every vendor she recommends and even went so far as to proactively email all her couples notifying us about a vendor in the area who she found out wasn't gay-friendly and apologizing profusely (which she totally did not have to do - we hadn't even contacted them). She made us SO comfortable from the first second and had our back 100% every step of the way.
I had planned a tethered hot air balloon as a surprise for my wife right after we said our "I Do's" - there were so many times the whole thing could have fallen apart for so many different reasons from nine months out to minutes out and Erin kept it all together and we pulled it off! It was the most spectacular moment and memory and I would could not have done it without her.
Our wedding was more wonderful than we dreamed and we couldn't have done it without Erin & Sierra. THANK YOU! -

Best/easiest decision we made!
Erin was hands down one of the best decisions we made through out all of our wedding. (When every vendor you contact raves about a coordinator...LISTEN!) Erin was available anytime we needed her with suggestions or an ear if we just needed to talk through some things. She suggested pretty much all of our vendors - certainly did not lead us wrong! She has a calming personality, yet is so genuinely enthusiastic about making you feel special. In addition to just being awesome, Erin offered to handle a lot of little things for us since we now live in Chicago like getting our sparklers before the wedding, etc.
Also, extra shout out to Sierra (Freckles + Ink), she works with Erin and is an awesome calligrapher. She went above and beyond procuring items for us, especially considering we contacted her kind of late in the game. She did a beautiful job on our table arrangements and signs.
Erin and Sierra are absolutely amazing at what they do - they were able to read what Tim and I needed (i.e. drinks, alone time, parents, etc.) and get it for us. Don't think, just hire Plain with Sprinkles, we loved having Erin and Sierra as part of our wedding and you will too! -

We had our wedding in Asheville, but live in Chattanooga. We only went to Asheville 3 times whiles planning our wedding. The first visit was meeting Erin, and we feel head over heels in love. We had no idea where to start. She helped focus and calm us so planning our wedding didn’t feel so overwhelming. A few key moments that makes Erin stand out from the rest: (1) My dress literally BROKE! during photography. It was a little spaghetti strap, and she had thread and needle and sewed it back on. Life savor. (2) I’m an engineer w/ no eye for design. I had a basic idea of what I wanted, but no clue on how to make it come to life. Erin supplied extra décor including candles and even the way she set up the tables was just perfect. (3) By the end of the planning, we done. Just want to get married and go on our honeymoon to Belize. There were still little decisions that had to be made, and I couldn’t take it any longer. Luckily by that stage, Erin knew my style and was able to make these little decisions for me (like fonts for the seat assignments. “I don’t know! Legible?” was my response.) There is no way I could’ve survived planning a wedding in a different state without her. I will be forever grateful. -

Erin and Sierra are AMAZING! And also super cool, like I want to hang out with them just because. Leading up to the wedding, Erin was on the ball, available to chat, checked in on how I was feeling, and had great ideas/recommendations. On the wedding day, these two ladies went above and beyond, from running out and getting a guestbook that I forgot to purchase, giving me deodorant after getting my groove on on the dance floor, working things out with the band, to dropping off my bouquet as well as food & cake (that we didn't get a chance to eat) to our hotel room --- I can't thank them enough. I had the BEST time at my wedding and I owe my stress-free day to them! -

Hiring a coordinator was one of the hardest decisions we made while wedding planning - but one phone call with Erin (after MANY other calls with others) and I basically hired her on the spot. Erin was indispensable in planning our wedding back in October. I was apprehensive about hiring a planner because our main goal for the wedding was that it felt "like us" and not like it was following a wedding formula. My husband and I are both pretty apathetic about weddings in general, and just knew we wanted a great party with no idea how to make that happen. Erin immediately picked up on the vibe we were going for and rolled with it. Aside from keeping us on top of all the practical stuff that we absolutely would have forgotten to do on our own, she was also able to talk my very anxious mother off a few ledges, which is a mighty feat. I really think that without Erin we would have just given up and eloped, but I'm so glad we didn't. Thank you, Erin! -

WOW! What a pleasure Erin was to work with. She made me feel at ease and made all my ideas into a reality. Her excitement about our wedding was evident even in that exchange, and when we met at Bhramari to have our first consultation, afterwards, my husband looked at me and goes, "Yep, hire her." Even though she was only "month of" coordinating, Erin was always available by email or we could set up a time to talk on the phone if I had questions. After meeting Erin from Plain With Sprinkles, I knew she was the wedding coordinator for me. Not only had she done dozens of weddings at my venue (Shoutout to Highland Brewing!), she is also so organized and knowledgeable about the wedding industry and all the local Asheville vendors. I'm a big planner myself, so when I met Erin I knew we would have a great working relationship. And I was right - Erin was a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding and was a literal BOSS the day-of. Even though I hired Erin for just day-of coordination, she helped tremendously months leading up to the wedding. She also responded to all my texts and emails very promptly and always offered her support and opinion on vendor selection, timeline and decor. And then the day-of the wedding, Erin was a rockstar and her years of experience and professionalism truly shined through. She made our day perfect and even brought us drinks and apps while we were busy taking pictures (seriously, can you ask for more?) Her best advice to us was to take a moment away from our guests to reflect on each other and on the day itself. We were able to take it all in, away from everyone and bask in our most important day. Erin is a truly caring person who is there for you in every aspect of your wedding day. And if that doesn't convince you, many of our guests came up to us during and after the wedding to tell us how awesome Erin was. DUH, we know it! And lastly, let me tell you - if you think you don't need a day-of coordinator (or a wedding planner, in general) - you're wrong. Do yourself a favor, take most of the stress out of wedding planning and hire Erin. She's the most important vendor you'll hire. :) -

We chose her to help with day-of wedding coordination, yet she went above and beyond and was there for us at least a month in advance. She helped us with all the last minute details and communications so that we did not have to worry about anything on our wedding day. She was always so kind in reminding us that this was our day and we could choose to celebrate it however we liked! I would highly recommend Erin for all your wedding planning needs! She is wonderful!!

Magen Sent on 10/11/2018Erin was fantastic as a Day-Of-Coordinator! She was excellent at communications and helped me stay on task with the timeline. Once I handed everything over to her I could completely relax and let her handle the rest. She set up everything at the reception and the ceremony site. Coordinated with both the photographers and videographers and put together the center pieces and all the reception decor. Everything ran perfectly and afterwards Erin cleaned up the entire space so we could relax and just enjoy the bonfire. She made everything easy piezie plus her rental shop was very handy with items I would have had to buy otherwise. Saved me tons of time.

Lindsay Sent on 10/11/2018Erin is an incredibly creative, easy-going planner and all around delightful human. From day one, she worked to bring to life an event that was bright and joyful. Erin was incredible with helping us identify the most important elements of our day, and what we were most excited about, then putting that into action.
She really knew how to listen, advise, and identify action items to make it right. She got to know us quickly, and was able to give advice that was simple and heartfelt. My favorite was “Think of your wedding as a theme party, with you and (groom) as the theme.”
We planned long distance with Erin (we were based in NYC at the time for a Raleigh area wedding), and she was so amenable to FaceTime calls and regularly scheduled touchbases to make sure we felt comfortable with how things were going. The distance wasn’t a factor in the slightest.
On the day of, Erin never stopped moving. She was helping vendors, directing guests, checking on us, checking on my parents, coordinating with the band and venue, and so much more. We had one snafu with our exit music (sound guy mixed up the songs), and Erin worked with the band to have us enter our reception to the right song. It was amazing, and such a small detail, but she took something negative and made it into one of my favorite memories of the day.
All of this is just multiplied by how awesome and cool Erin is as a human. I genuinely enjoyed working and talking with her, and we can’t imagine the day without her hard work. -

It was huge with different locations for the ceremony, dinner and reception. But it couldn’t have turned out nicer or more beautiful! Erin was on top of everything moving things around from location to location and coordinating everything! Her suggestions for vendors were awesome… it all went off better than anyone could imagine… thanks Erin for the wedding of her dreams!!

When we first started looking into wedding planners/coordinators, we were honestly just price-shopping. But it only took 1 phone call with Erin to know that she was the one for us! She invests in the marriage of her clients, not just the shiny-bits of the wedding day. To be honest, I didn't really appreciate how special that was until our wedding day. So many things went wrong on our wedding day, but Erin helped us stay focused on the prize (marrying each other, woohoo!) & ultimately helped us create beautiful, loving memories from a crazy stressful day! I found her online and knew she was the person for me when she told me she didn't want a wedding either and she found ways to make it personal, and not just a wedding. I decided to plan everything myself and use Erin for day-of. Little did I know that meant, "I can call Erin anytime for anything." She was a huge resource and made the perfect day happen. She also rented out her decorations to me at a FRACTION of the cost from any other rental company. I wish I could do it all over again just to spend time with Erin, but I think my husband might not like that. Erin and I decided on just being friends :)

Stephen Sent on 03/19/2018WOW. We felt like we made a number of savvy decisions in planning our wedding in Asheville, but choosing Erin was by far the best. She went above and beyond in every regard! We had some unique components to our wedding--it was sort of an immersive theater experience with a lot of twists to the traditional formula--and Erin was supportive, enthusiastic, and flexible in helping us achieve our dream day. If you're stressed about a coordinator trying to streamline you into something you're not really feeling, Erin is a perfect solution. She will support YOUR wedding.
She far exceeded our expectations in the amount of organization and work she put into our wedding in the months and weeks leading up to the big day, especially with regards to communicating with other vendors and taking some of the minutiae out of our hands. For the actual 24 hours from rehearsal to our final exit, she was so calming, in control, and appropriately assertive that she was included in tons of guests' compliments about the night (i.e. "You two looked great! The food was awesome! Oh my god, your coordinator was FANTASTIC!").
We're a couple of theater nerds, so Erin's background in stage management was comforting and much appreciated. We are also New Yorkers (read: she is great for people planning weddings remotely) who are prone to exacting tastes, so we don't leave rave reviews lightly. Erin is the real deal. You won't regret hiring her for your wedding. -

Kimberly Sent on 11/12/2017Whoever said planning a wedding was easy was obviously lying and I'm so thankful to have hired Erin to help me out. Erin was truly my saving grace, my guardian angel, my backbone and my cheerleader throughout this whole wedding process! I could not have managed through half of what I did without her. From the very beginning, Erin centers herself entirely around YOUR vision of your special day. She constantly reminded me that she was 'Team Kim' and that if there was anything I needed, just let her know. Her services technically weren't supposed to kick in until 2 months out, but she was involved much earlier than that making sure that she knew exactly what I wanted and how I envisioned it. She helped me tremendously with planning my ceremony/hall decorations and figuring out seating charts and budgeting. Dave and I met with her at Biscuit Head in Asheville in the summer and we knew we had made the right decision. Erin was funny, full of positivity and words of advice and just an overall wonderful person! She was constantly emailing me to check up on my progress and to see if I needed anything. We rented some decor from her as well which turned out beautifully! We also had a polaroid station, provided by Erin, that went over tremendously!! Everyone loved them and wanted copies. From the day I booked her, to the day I said I do, Erin was always building my confidence and cheering me on. Before I walked down the aisle, I started getting really nervous and Erin gave me a pep talk to calm me down. She gave us constant reminders throughout the night to take a moment and let it all sink in and just recognize that we did this. Erin was much more than a coordinator these past months. She was my friend too. I will forever be thankful that I had her by my side along the way. Thanks again Erin, you're amazing!!

Our daughter, fiancé, my husband and I met with Erin several months before the wedding at the venue and we went over every detail, it seemed, needed for our daughter's wedding. Erin took meticulous notes and answered our questions. On the day of the wedding, she arrived early in the morning and stayed until after 11 that night. She provided a Polaroid camera for a photo table (great idea and loved by all!) and several signs for the wedding. She put up most of the decorations with an assistant the night before and then took them all down after the wedding, so everything was ready for us to pick up the next morning. When I first started to plan my wedding, I was very overwhelmed and not sure exactly what to do. I had somethings planned out but decorating and all the small things like the ceremony and table settings and seating chart and how to get everything to come together was new to me. I knew I needed some help and I found Erin. She was able to walk me through step by step and help me with my budget because my husband was wondering regarding costs by providing me the tools that I needed. She helped me put together flowers and ideas to make my country chic themed wedding come true. I even had a great photo area with a photo book that I have displayed in my home. I am from out of town living in New Hampshire and she was able to help me out with requirements to the North Carolina area, where I was married. She came to the venue and was able to meet with me whenever I came into town. My day went by very quickly but I was able to enjoy every bit of it! I was sooooo happy that day and very excited to finally be an Albano! I remember everything and how happy I am to be with him and how happy he is to be with me. I could not think of anything that was not to what I expected or missing because everything turned out to be beyond my expectations because of Erin! Thank you again for everything you did and I could not have done it without you! It would not have been as wonderful as it turned out without you! I feel like I have made a long term friend!
