Becky and Laney from Pearl were incredible! Becky has deep knowledge of the wedding industry, especially in Austin, and provided expert guidance throughout the planning process for my wedding at a venue that required complex detail. Becky's name (and Pearl Events) definitely carries weight - every vendor went above and beyond when they knew she was working with me! Being a bride who wanted to be in control of a lot of my planning, Becky complemented this well by providing realistic opinions and an expert perspective while still respecting my decisions and ideas. Brittney was an incredible wedding planner and we cannot write enough glowing reviews of her. She was organized, patient, cheerful, and she paid attention to every single detail. On the day of the wedding, we didn't have to think about a single thing because she ran point and handled the floodgates of questions on our behalf. She was wonderful with our families, the vendors, and our wedding party and kept everything running smoothly. Amazing experience with pearl events
Brittney and Pearl events gave me the wedding of my dreams. Not only were they absolute experts who had knowledge of all the best vendors in Austin, but they were constantly on top of everything related to my wedding. Planning a wedding was consuming but working with this team made it amazing every step of the way. Our day was beautiful, so phenomenally well coordinated, and everything we dreamed of. I did not worry about a single thing the day of, and for someone very type A who always has to be in control, I felt like I was in the best hands. These women ran the day like the military in the most complimentary way. They took amazing behind the scene footage, ran back and forth for anything we needed all day long in the rain, and ran things so smoothly. For other brides out there worried about your day, I had to move my ceremony location because of weather an hour before the wedding. Brittney truly was an angel getting me through the moment without any disappointment or freak outs. We had a plan in advance and she told me this was how it was meant to be and she was completely right (and the ceremony looked even better than I could have imagined). Pearl Events and my planner, Madison, completely outdid themselves! Our wedding was everything we wanted and more. Maddy listened to all of our wants/needs, was incredibly patient, professional, kind, ORGANIZED, and handled everything seamlessly. I was never stressed and Maddy had an answer to every question, big or small. Pearl Events has so many vendors that they vet and recommend that were all amazing. Best wedding planners in the business!
Tessa made the entire wedding planning process completely stress-free and so fun for Jake and me! Throughout our engagement people kept asking how I was handling the stress of planning and my answer was always “I’m so fine, Tessa has it all under control!” She is incredibly knowledgable of all the vendors in the Austin area especially, always gave several options in different price ranges, but most of all I appreciated her honesty when I didn’t have a clear idea of what to look for.
The actual weekend was perfectly scheduled and every vendor was so relieved to find out we were working with Tessa because they knew everything would be running smoothly.
One of my bridesmaids said I was freaking her out because of how relaxed I was on the wedding day - all thanks to the incredible planning and coordinating Tessa and Pearl Events did for us. Tessa was cool and collected the entire time and handled everything with grace. We did not have a single hiccup (that I know of!) the whole weekend.
Several guests actually said it was the best-planned wedding they had ever been to - nothing felt rushed and at the same time no element of the day dragged on. Every detail was taken care of. Words can't describe how wonderful our experience was working with Tessa. Throughout the entire planning process, she made us feel like our wedding was her top priority. I would work with Becky a million times over. Becky is simply the best of the best and I cannot recommend her enough! It's easy to see on social media the beautiful events that she and the Pearl Events team plan, but the behind the scenes is just as impressive and wonderful. Becky planned the absolute perfect wedding weekend and was a joy to work with along the way. Becky has a super power for helping figure out what you really want and translating the vision into a design board and dream event. She knew us well enough to advocate for us in each vendor meeting, making sure that we didn't stray from our vision and goals just because it may be "easier" or more typical.
Our wedding was a complex weekend with a lot of moving parts; we asked a lot of our guests and of Becky to make sure it was a good experience. There were a LOT of places where things could go wrong--from the round trip transport to the use of different vendors due to the different locations for our wedding and reception days--but she and her team made sure everything went smoothly! Weekend of, she made sure my husband and I were able to fully immerse ourselves in the experience because everything was taken care of. She made sure we spent time with each guest and, almost as importantly to us, on the dance floor.
It speaks volumes that she has curated such an amazing team at Pearl Events and with all of the vendors she partners with to curate the planning experience and event outcome. Every single vendor she brought in was equally professional, fun, and easy to work with. It takes a village to pull off a beautiful, complex wedding weekend like ours. Tessa thought of everything and put my mind at ease - which says something, because I am an anxious planner! She took the best care of me and my husband. Our families and wedding party absolutely adored her on our wedding day!

I don’t think 5 stars does Brittney justice! She was AMAZING! Her and her assistants were the hidden gems that we needed to make our special day truly perfect. They came prepared with tissues, band aids, and a warm smile! Brittney was so organized and on top of the entire planning process but she really shined the day of the wedding! Louisiana wedding GO TO
Becky is a DREAM to work with! As a Texas gal getting married in New Orleans, I was looking for a very specific type of planner…someone with a knowledge of New Orleans/Louisiana traditions that was also familiar with how we throw elaborate wedding parties in Texas, and she did NOT disappoint! She (metaphorically, although I’m sure she would also literally if I asked) held my hand through all the vendor meetings and walkthroughs. If I didn’t like something that was proposed, I wouldn’t even have to say a word before she stepped in and advocated for what I wanted. Wedding weekend went off without a hitch. She and Tessa were a dream team! Things easily could have gone haywire - we had a carefully orchestrated surprise for the groom that she pulled off flawlessly. my bustle broke 4 different times and she was always standing by with safety pins. There is not enough room in this review (literally) to capture how incredibly talented Becky is and how lucky we were to have her as our wedding planner! She is hands down the BEST event planner out there and trust me, you want her on your team! My family came in with alot of ideas, opinions, and questions about the wedding planning process and Becky helped to sift through everyone's thoughts and feelings to bring together a cohesive vision that translated that into the MOST stunning wedding that my husband, parents and I could have ever asked for. Becky's insights are truly invaluable - the details and questions she raises throughout the planning process solidify how crucial her expertise is to have on your side. Her communication is impeccable – she was able to strike the perfect balance of keeping us on schedule without us feeling overwhelmed. She was also always ten steps ahead and was so prepared and organized during every meeting. The comfort of knowing that Becky was keeping track of the planning process took away so much stress from my family during such a hectic phase of life. Through every meeting and all throughout the months leading up to and day-of, Becky had the most impressive air of confidence and calmness that allowed all of us to have the best time because we knew without a doubt that Becky would handle anything that came up. One of the most underestimated but extremely crucial pieces of Becky's expertise is her relationship with truly excellent vendors - everyone she connected us with was absolutely incredible (catering, florals, rentals, photographer - you name it - she knows the best of the best in the business). To sum up our experience with Becky - when I got engaged, my dad was convinced we could plan a wedding without any help ("How hard could it be?"). Thankfully he was quickly overruled and it didn't take long for his response to every decision to be "What does Becky think??" when he quickly saw how much work and energy it takes to pull off a great event. By the time the big day came, he had literally written Becky into his Father of the Bride speech with the recognition that we couldn't have had such an incredible event without Becky on our side, guiding us in the right direction. Jen was so incredible to work with from her promptness to emails, professionalism in handling all vendors, her attention to every little detail, and her love and excitement for us as a new married couple is unparalleled. I would trust Jen with my life. The morning of my wedding, the Best Man believe it or not left his tux at home.... a 6+ hour road trip drive away. My husband called Jen and she had it handled in a matter of minutes. If you want an unforgettable event with a planner who truly cares and is the most masterful problem solver, you need to work with Jen and Pearl Events! Every single moment of my wedding weekend felt like pure bliss. I have had so many guest tell us it was the best wedding they have ever attended. Cannot say enough great things about Pearl Events and my planner Becky! It really made the the entire planning process that much more fun and special. She has such a fun energy, it was a bonus getting to spend the year planning with her. I now truly could not imagine not loving my planner - that would totally change the experience of planning and being engaged. Book them as your planner, that is $$$ you will never regret. Trust! I am sad its over and I don't get to chat with Becky or work with the girls anymore.
I am an event planner myself so I can attest that my standards may be a bit different :) Becky and the Pearl Gals exceed all of those expectations. She is so good at meeting you wherever that may be, understanding your needs/goals/vision/budget, and being an honest ear and sounding board when you want it! She is also very tapped into the Austin market and vendors - SO helpful. I was lucky enough to have 4 of the pearl ladies onsite wedding weekend. I seriously loved all of their vibes! They are confident, fun and so so kind!! I just wanted to keep hanging with them! Plus very good at what they do. You can tell they are true experts. They also do SUCH an amazing job! Our Wedding Could Not Have Been More Perfect - Thank You Brittney
Words cannot express how thankful we are to Brittney at Pearl Events for everything she did to make our wedding day the most perfect day ever - more beautiful than anything we could’ve ever imagined. Every single detail - from the florals, to music, makeup, tables, flow of the event, food - it was incredible, and a day we will never forget (and can’t stop talking about).
We met Brittney only a few months before our wedding, so she was working with a shorter-than-average timeline. Additionally, my husband (hehe) and I both work Monday-Friday 8-5, so I think that sort of posed a challenge with our timelines as well. With that said, throughout the entire process, we felt so much care from Brittney. We were excited to meet with her every time because she brought so much joy to the whole process. Additionally, leading up to the day, we always felt organized and aware of the plan, which allowed us to spend quality time with our friends and family who came to visit for the wedding rather than worrying about anything. Every time we met with her on Zoom, she was on video which made it personal, and it was something we really appreciated. She helped an enormous amount with not only recommending vendors, but handling the communication between all vendors. She also offered to bring day-of supplies for us by allowing us to drop off things a few days prior, and offered great advice / was quick to respond when we had questions and kept us on track (we are procrastinators). Overall, Brittney is so kind, caring, patient, professional, organized, fun, positive, creative, was able to take exactly what we envisioned for our day and put it into action.
Our guests said it was the most beautiful, classy, fun wedding they’d ever been to. They enjoyed the food as well!! Literally NOTHING went wrong. It is a day we will cherish forever, and there’s no way we could’ve done this without her. I will 1000000% be recommending her in the future, and I’m not sure how we can ever repay her.Pearl Events Austin's reply:

BEYOND GRATEFUL to have Jen Seal’s help with my wedding. After a terrible storm literally destroyed our reception tent the night before the wedding, Jen worked her butt off to re-plan in a whole new reception area. Not only did she pull it off in one day, but it was absolutely beautiful and more than I could have dreamed. I appreciated her being as hands-on/hands-off as I wanted her throughout the planning process. She was extremely professional and left me with nothing to worry about day-of. Jen was the perfect planner and coordinator. From the big deal details (how will our venue look, what will the food taste like, can we get the best ATX band - Hot Sauce ATX?) all the way down to the itty bitty details (can we very last minute order some sandwiches from the hotel restaurant while we get ready the day of?) Jen made everything work. Jen communicated everything effectively from what the vendors required, and what we desired within our budget. The BEST in Austin!
Brittney was a pleasure to work with and was able to take all of the stress and responsibility of my wedding day off my plate! She remained calm throughout the process and provided fast solutions to any minor issues that arose (as they always seem to do!). Brittney was well organized and managed the vendors extremely well, I didn’t have to worry about anything because I knew she had it taken care of! While planning, she thought of every little detail, and when the forecast called for rain the week of my completely outdoor wedding (with no tent plan), she remained calm and provided a backup plan, that luckily, we did not have to use! Incredible, Talented, Kind
We just had our wedding on Saturday, and it truly was the best day EVER. There is no doubt in my mind that Tessa is the common denominator of every single success that we had on our wedding day! We hired Tessa after a recommendation from a friend, and we couldn’t have been more blown away by all of her knowledge, kindness, organization, ideas, patience and help. She never once took longer than a few hours to respond to my (many!) questions or ideas. Tessa guided us through wedding preparations that we had no idea about, and helped steer us towards design decisions that ended up making the most beautiful day of our lives. She never once pushed us to do something we weren’t comfortable with or outside of our vision. On the actual wedding day, she was calm, collected, and she was so caring (making sure I had eaten) She even went out to get my blister band aids, and suggested our after party spot when we were too amped up post reception to even think straight! If you're looking for a wedding planner, your search is over, let it be Jen! Our weekend was flawless and an absolute blast! We wanted a fun weekend with friends and family and Jen delivered.
As a designer, I had a vision for our special day and wanted to be involved in the details like florals, stationary, etc. Jen was an excellent partner who stepped back when I wanted to get involved but stepped up on the pieces that weren't my wheelhouse. (Kayak and SUP rentals, anyone?) The planning process was both smooth and fun.

Highly recommend Pearl Events! Jennifer Seals was our planner from Pearl; she perfectly balanced stepping in when we needed support (flowers, lighting, draping) and letting us take the reins on things we wanted to handle.
Our wedding was last night, and I really don't have words for how supported we felt. Jen was there every step of the way, making sure we were prepared, calm, and even that we had food and drinks any time we needed them. She managed all the vendor setups, and the execution was perfect.

I had absolutely zero worry the day of and was able to enjoy every aspect of my wedding. Our day went off without a hitch thanks to her planning and attentiveness. Tessa was timely and professional with all her communication. She’s thoughtful, thorough and exactly what you want for a wedding planner. She was also very patient with all our questions during our 1.5 year planning process and even up to the day before the wedding. She went above and beyond handling vendor communication, their schedules, working with our florist, rental companies and signage designers to ensure our vision came to life and everything flowed nicely. The details to the design and the execution of how everything turned out was beyond our expectations. We always felt confident Tessa had every detail thought of and figured out. I cannot recommend working with Madison and Pearl Events enough, ESPECIALLY if you have a unique, out-there, non-traditional wedding or event idea in mind - Madison is a dream maker!
After a string of interviews with potential planners, my wife and I knew instantly that Madison was “the one” for us. She just brought a degree of joy and possibility to every idea we brainstormed - which for an on-site wedding at our home, without the turnkey infrastructure that proper venues offer, was exactly the energy we needed to pull this event off. And pull it off she did! Madison not only left no detail unconsidered - but she left no detail un-elevated — it was as if she waved her hands over our kernels of ideas and sketch of a vision and transformed it into a grander, stylish, more perfect reality. I am still in absolute awe of the transformation she pulled off in our backyard - thanks to her rolodex of vendors and relationships with all our key partners (from catering to music to rentals to even port-a-potties) she brought our dream wedding to life, and did so joyfully. We still can do nothing but laugh and smile when asked how we handled the “stress” of wedding planning, because Madison made the whole process a joy!! I can think of no better example than when we woke up the day of our (outdoor!) rehearsal dinner to a day-long forecast of torrential, freezing rain. Neither my wife nor I panicked - instead, we spent our day luxuriating in the company of our loved ones in our hotel lobby, because we knew full well that Madison would pivot and handle everything, and do so with grace, poise, and seamless execution - all we had to do was show up! I can truly say we didn’t give any of the day-of logistics a second thought - that’s the peace of mind Madison created for us, which was the greatest gift. Madison was the best decision we have made
My wife and I read countless reviews for all the top wedding planners in austin and kept encountering a problem: we could not find any brides or couples who looked like us. We had a specific vision of a small, intimate, triumphant, disco-y backyard wedding to celebrate our queer love, and we had nearly decided to just plan it ourselves when we interviewed Madison. She surprised us with how immediately comfortable and energetic she was about executing on our specific vision- as if she had planned thousands of lesbian weddings just like it. We decided to make to the leap and hire her- throughout the whole process, she proved to be the most thoughtful, organized, joyful strategic partner we could have imagined. Her connections in Austin enabled her to act quickly when the weather was unexpectedly freezing our wedding weekend- suddenly a tent and heaters appeared as though she clicked her fingers. We have been joking (but not joking) that we want Madison on our payroll forever, just to keep her in our lives. The best there ever was!
Tessa is an absolute DREAM to work with! I cannot recommend her enough. I started calling her my fairy godmother because she just makes things happen! I love her organization, attention to detail, and great recommendations. She is very professional and does everything with grace. It was so fun working with Tessa and she really got us excited to plan our wedding after we had been putting it off for a few months. Plus, she always has a smile on her face! She provided us with so much help and resources, I was never worried about anything throughout my entire wedding planning process as well as the big day. Wedding planner
There are not enough words to describe how amazing the experience of working with Pearl Events is. This team helped my new husband and I with everything from finding vendors, to changing my mind ~ 8 months out on my wedding aesthetics, to family/ vendor issues. Our wedding planner Jen is incredibly attentive, passionate, and detail oriented. She also does all of this while remain as calm and collected as possible despite me or my now husband freaking out. It meant the world to us to have someone like Jen on our side. No matter how much we threw at her she’d say “hey it’s fine. Here’s what we can do.” I’ve never been so happy and thankful to work with someone before. There’s nothing I appreciate more than a problem solver, and that’s exactly what Jen is. We unfortunately had our officiant drop out on us about 3 months before our wedding and Jen was immediately on it. She called and helped us modify our plans and come up with a situation that worked for everyone! Jen facilitated our lives for months on end! There was nothing that she wasn’t ahead of, which absolutely makes sense because she has so much experience in this line of business. I can not express enough the need for a planner or coordinator during your wedding day. If anything went wrong, I absolutely didn’t know because Jen and her team were there. I was the most stressed out and high strung person while planning but I was without a doubt the calmest I’ve ever been on my wedding day because I knew that I had nothing to worry about because of Pearl Events and Jen. Tessa is 10/10 the best wedding planner!!! I cannot say enough AMAZING things about Tessa and the Pearl Events team. We started planning our wedding over a year in advance and Tessa was my go-to for literally everything. She kept us on schedule, always had great vender options/suggestions and also put up with all my questions, demands, and specific requests. Our wedding was in Austin and 3 months prior to the wedding we moved from TX to SF and this was when I really needed boots on the ground and someone to help and she was always there for me!! The best decision I made in planning our wedding was hiring Tessa and the Pearl team. She was organized and thoughtful and ALWAYS went above and beyond. I am picky and particular and she really did take the time to understand what was important to me and how to make our day special and just the way I envisioned - from the cake, to florals, to specific chandeliers and lighting, the band, fireworks, cigar rollers and stationary... you name it, she was on top of it. On the day of the wedding she was always one step ahead and making sure everything went smoothly and timely - she literally took SO MUCH stress off my plate. I cant thank you enough, Tessa! She walked us through the process step by step, creating a timeline for us to follow and a budget to keep us on track. She connected us to her network of carefully vetted and experienced vendors and negotiated on our behalf. We never had to worry about the value, quality or reliability of any of the service providers who we selected. Becky is well-known and highly respected by everyone in the Austin events industry, so venues and vendors responded quickly and listened when she made suggestions or advocated on our behalf. Our daughter had a good idea of what she wanted, but Becky helped us to develop those ideas into a cohesive plan and make budget conscious selections accordingly. Tessa was such a dream to work with!! She was organized, attentive, quick to respond, calming and a friend throughout the whole process which was the most important to me. Everyone dreams of their wedding day and has a long list of dreams they want to come true - Tessa made them all come true for me. From the reception, the special details and throwing in her own creative two-sense, she helped make it the perfect day for me and my husband. What I appreciated most about Tessa was that a tense or stressful moment never lasted more than a minute before Tessa jumped into problem solving mode and made it even better than plan A. My bridesmaids made a comment to me that summed up Tessa - “before we could even get confused about where to be and when, Tessa had already told us exactly what was happening next.” I appreciated that she was one step ahead of us, so pleasant to work with and we really enjoyed getting to know her throughout the process!
