We loved working with Surbhi and her team! She went above and beyond—not just on the day of, but throughout the entire planning process. Surbhi was super organized, responsive, and always on top of things. Our wedding was planned to be outdoors on top of a mountain, and the night before the ceremony there was a slight chance of rain that could have put a damper on everything. That night, through a ton of coordination work, Surbhi got all our vendors to agree to push back their rain deadlines, just in case the weather held out. Thankfully it didn’t rain, and everything worked out perfectly! We couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator and would 100% recommend One Events Management to anyone planning their big day.

Flawless Execution from Finding Vendors to the Reception

I cannot rave enough about One Events Management (OEM). I myself am a project manager and needed help with the finer details and execution of my wedding. OEM was there for us through every step from helping to create a budget, to choosing vendors, and finally being by our side throughout the day of the wedding. They were completely professional and were able to be my peacekeepers and sanity checkers throughout the entire wedding process. I'm so glad that they were part of our special day and would recommend them to any Bride looking for that organization and flawless execution of their dream wedding.

One Events Management

If you’re on the fence about hiring a coordinator, just do it. We hired the team at One Events and do not regret it. Surbhi met with us multiple times to go over vendors, contracts, programs, itinerary and really put us at ease. She took over contact with the vendors before the wedding so that we could focus on our multi-day wedding festivities and be able to take in the moment and not worry about if the caterer is on time or the mandap is set up. Her team was able to handle our 550-guest ceremony and 350-guest reception and made sure everything was done within our tight timeline. Surbhi made sure no detail was missed and was able to execute each and every one of our desires. Two weeks after our wedding we were told by a family member that there were a handful of non-RSVPs and she was able to have an entire table set up, with décor, that we didn’t even notice. We were told she handled the situation like a boss. I highly recommend the team at OEM to anyone.

Surbhi and her team were absolutely amazing!! We had used Surbhi for my cousin's wedding and we knew then her service was invaluable. So professional and lovely to work with. Surbhi lets no detail go without professional touch. She provided invaluable advice and recommendations and truly wanted to make our day perfect. We were ahead of time for the ceremony and because of her everything went so smoothly and perfect. We will definitely be hiring Surbhi for all future family weddings. INCREDIBLE wedding planner leading up to the wedding as well as day of coordination and management. Surbhi and her team couldn't have been more attentive to what we wanted throughout the process and made sure everything went perfectly! Things were handled without us even knowing about them and they were extremely professional. They know what to do, how to do it, and when to do what. Weddings (especially indian weddings) have 50 things happening at once and One Events made sure all parties involved (families, bridal party, guests) knew exactly where to be and what was going on! They were my miracle workers throughout my entire wedding week!

I don’t know what we would have done without Surbhi. Hiring her was the best investment we made. She helped us navigate and solve potentially tricky situations with our families and vendors, was a great buffer and advocate for us with vendors, had attention to detail, was on point at the events, and I could go on.
She was delightfully direct about what she thought would work best in different areas of our sangeet and wedding, and it was always clear that she had our best interests in mind, how to get the best photos to keeping everything running on time (not easy with a baraat, Hindu ceremony, and western ceremony all on one day).
Surbhi’s best moment came during our baraat, when the horse was a no-show (another vendor’s issue). She took matters into her own hands and commandeered a pedicab on 6th avenue. I think it ended up being even better than a horse! People loved it!
As a non-Indian girl marrying an Indian guy, I particularly appreciated Surbhi’s help translating between cultures to make sure I didn’t offend my new in-laws while ensuring that my and my now husband’s needs were met.
We worked directly with Surbhi throughout the planning process, and she brought in her helpers for the events themselves. They were great, spotting potential issues early and solving them right away.
The only thing I would change if I had to do it all over again is to hire her earlier! Really!

We have nothing but praise for Surbhi and her team when it comes to planning and executing our mixed Hindu and Christian wedding. She patiently listened to both us and our families and helped to devise a unique wedding that honored both traditions, faiths, and cultures. When we told her we wanted to hold a Hindu wedding in a Presbyterian Church, she didn't even bat an eye. As an American bride, Surbhi was fundamental in finding bridal wear for me that was both culturally appropriate and also reflected my personal style. I could not have handled the Indian shops in Edison, NJ without her guidance and bargaining skills!

We had three separate 300+ guest events at different venues in Westchester and NJ over the course of a long weekend. I can't express enough how it wouldn't have been possible without Surbhi on our side. Not only was she incredibly resourceful when it came to finding vendors, outfits, etc, she even located an outstanding pandit at the very last minute after our first one had made a scheduling error. Surbhi literally saved the wedding! She has excellent communication skills and always got back to us immediately no matter what hour we might have called or texted.

One of our biggest fears (especially with a large indian family) was that things were going to be behind schedule. Surbhi and her team were able to keep things moving along at the pace we needed to make the weekend a success and keep it stress free for us and our families. With friends and family members still raving about how wonderful our wedding was, we know the decision to hire OEM was the right one! We will surely use them again when it comes time for the next wedding in our family.

Surbhi, Jay, and the rest of the team were wonderful! Throughout the wedding planning process, Surbhi was so responsive and professional. Even though my husband and I choose to go with the Day of Coordination package, Surbhi helped us navigate some of the more challenging decisions that we had to make from the start. Surbhi and her team did an amazing job with our wedding! We used One Events for "Day of Coordination". My wife and I had planned everything from the start, but we did not want to worry on the day of our wedding about everything working out. I got married on 5/28/17 at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich with the help of the amazing team of One Events Management (OEM) as our “day of” wedding coordinator. Surbhi & her team were a complete asset to our special day! Aside from all the “regular” tasks a wedding coordinator does (which they did flawlessly!), they went above & beyond to meet every single one of mine & my husband’s needs the day of.
I knew I would need a wedding coordinator after experiencing the chaos that went on behind the scenes of my sister’s wedding years ago – my family loves to do a lot but we do not have the manpower to execute it – in came OEM. With my husband’s busy schedule, we only met face-to-face twice, but they pulled off every single thing we discussed or even mentioned in passing! As a type A person, I knew it was going play a big role in the wedding planning process, however, having Surbhi to take on ALL of my stress the day of was wonderful! She is professional, supportive, organized, detail oriented and great with people! She so beautifully made all my crazy requests come to reality and it did not go unnoticed! In the weeks after, I had so many friends and family tell me how on top of everything she was and how organized our events were. Our wedding was actually done EARLIER than scheduled, which is not an easy task for a South Asian wedding with a 25 person bridal party and 400 guests!
Surbhi helped me get ready while my entire family was busy getting ready themselves and made sure we had food in between the wedding & reception (brought us plates herself) and when my stilettos were killing me during our reception shots, one of the girls was quick to go up to my room to get another pair so we could continue with our photos. Wanted water with a straw not to ruin my lipstick? Done! Having Surbhi & her team there made me feel so relaxed and “taken care of,” which is how every bride should feel.
I highly recommend One Events Management for all your wedding coordinating needs!

Choosing to work with Surbhi and her team at One Events Management was undoubtedly the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. From the first meeting to last call at the reception, they made our wedding process seamless and stress-free. When our wedding weekend finally arrived, they took complete control of the process and made sure that everything ran smoothly. When the wrong chairs were delivered hours before the first event, they worked behind the scenes to fix the issue. My wife didn't even know this had happened until after the weekend was over. Surbhi and Jay did an amazing job with our wedding. Usually, weddings are stressful, especially in dealing with different vendors, locations, etc. We had 5 events over the course of 3 days. The professionalism and care that was given to us was just above and beyond. After having Surbhi and Jay to help us, we don't know how people get married without planners. Surbhi was so detailed and everything went off perfectly because of Surbhi an Jay. She also has the expertise where she was able to handle certain things and decisions on her own without asking us the day off. That made a huge difference as we were able to enjoy our day. Afterwards she told us what choices she had made on our behalf and they were perfect. Surbhi really does take the time to get to know her clients and provide the utmost care and services for our needs. I would highly recommend using Surbhi and her team. Having Surbhi was easily our best decision when it came to wedding planning.

We're so glad we decided to work with One Events Management! We hired One Events for day of event coordination for our wedding. Archana and the OEM team was excellent to work with, extremely professional, and reliable. Working with Archana has been great from the first time we contacted her. From the first day we met, she made us feel comfortable and relaxed. She paid attention to every single detail and made us feel more at ease about our big day. Everyone knows planning a wedding is stressful for both the bride and groom, as well as their families, but Archana made everyone feel more at ease and made sure everything went smoothly. We weren't even aware of small hiccups on our actual wedding day because Archana and her team took care of them right away so we wouldn't have to worry. We knew everything was being taken care of so we could actually enjoy our wedding day to the fullest. We are very thankful that we found Surbhi and the entire OEM team to be on point for our entire wedding day as they did an excellent job making our wedding day perfect. Surbhi and Archana did an amazing job with our event! We hired them for their day of services and they did an excellent job of working with us. They met with us in person and also worked well on e-mail and on conference calls. They managed working with both families as well. Surbhi and Archana made sure we didn’t miss any minor details and worked with our vendors directly to make sure that they delivered on their contracts. When we had a few hiccups with one of our vendors, they found solutions to cover the problems and make the event run seamlessly. I couldn't imagine getting through my wedding festivities without Archana and Surbhi! They are both just fabulous! We hired OEM for day-of-event planning and co-ordination and we couldn't have picked anyone better! Our wedding was a grand success and as I look back, I realize how lucky we were to have worked with OEM! Excellent planning, attention to every detail and overall very smooth and seamless execution! I worked closely with Surbhi and Archana as we got into the nitty-gritty of wedding planning and I loved how many creative and unique ideas they both had to share! One of the biggest compliments my husband and I could get at the wedding was: You guys look so relaxed and at ease - its amazing! I am so thankful that we booked OEM to plan and organize our wedding. Surbhi was simply phenomenal. She literally had every detail covered and made sure there we would not face any problems. She was always there when we needed her and responded immediately. As we were planning for the wedding, more over a event coordinator, I made a new friend. She listened to every concern I had and was very mindful of what to say at what time. OEM was extremely necessary, she had a detailed timeline and went over practically everything. Fabulous and Necessary is how I would summarize hiring OEM to plan or coordinate your wedding. I only hired them for day of coordination but if I had to do it again I would have hired them to plan the wedding. Worth every penny. It is absolutely necessary to have them for day of coordination at minimum so that your wedding executes flawlessly and ON TIME while you are taking in your day having fun, getting married, greeting guests. I would also like to stress the importance of hiring someone that you are absolutely comfortable with, trust and LIKE being around. Many personal things come up during planning and the day of, you want them to be your confidant. Surbhi and Archana were that for me and they also provided helpful feedback and guidance right throughout the process. Other reasons to hire OEM are: #1 Timeline. It is crucial to have someone ELSE aware of every detail that you envision (not someone attending the wedding). They will make sure everything gets done one way or the other. The only few things that didn't get done at my wedding were things that I forgot to explain or mention to Surbhi/Archana -so tell them everything. #2 Creative Solutions: things come up the day of your wedding that are out of your control and their team will divide and conquer. I had a team of 4 including S&A and they split up and communicate constantly so they know if something will run late or pose a potential problem BEFORE it happens so they can quickly re strategize and get back on track. This is HUGE !!! Finally, all of the reasons above and more, having them allows you and your family/friends to have FUN and enjoy your wedding.

My husband and I were on the fence about whether to get a day of wedding coordinator. I cannot express how glad we were to have gotten one, and how lucky we were to have been put in touch with Archana and her team.

We had an Indian wedding and Archana helped to coordinate a long day comprised of an early AM Baarat, 1.5 hour ceremony, lunch reception, and dinner reception at another venue (in another state!).

First off, Archana was extremely easy to communicate with. She helped guide us through an Indian wedding that we didn’t know much about ourselves. She was able to bring our two families from different background together and help us clarify what we wanted and what we didn’t want in the ceremony. She also helped work through timelines and logistics for the day.

As far as the actual day of the wedding goes, I can’t even count the number of ways Archana came through for us and went above & beyond to make our day perfect. Just a few examples of the unexpected types of issues that Archana helped with on the day – she went out and bought umbrellas when a rain storm threatened our day. She got juice for a family member with sudden low blood sugar in the middle of the ceremony. She got 200+ people on shuttle busses miraculously on time.

Furthermore, Archana helped us through a lot of complex logistics in our timing and venues, and she executed this across a large group of people. She was also instrumental in our non-traditional reception location being a success.

She worked really well with our vendors as well as with our families (everyone loved her!), and she was really the glue that ensured all of our plans stuck together and happened as we envisioned. Of our whole wedding, this was probably some of the best money spent, and it’s a testament to Archana’s strong abilities as a coordinator.

One Events Management is a MUST for your wedding. The main reason I hired them was because I wanted my parents, in-laws, and all family members to be stress-free and enjoy the wedding/reception. Surbhi came with her staff and took care of EVERYTHING! They came in at 6 AM and left way after midnight. On the morning of our event, our horse guy for the baraat (which we booked through another vendor) suddenly said he had to leave early and would not be there for the baraat. Before we started freaking out, Surbhi took care of everything, and had a decorated horse ready for us within 20 minutes. She was unbelievable. I am telling you, no matter how much you plan a wedding, something can always go wrong, and having Surbhi and her crew there completely helps troubleshoot any situation that can occur.
Surbhi told my family and I where to go, when to eat, when to take photos, when to exchange garlands, how to make our entrance, and when to go back to the stylist to get touched up. With Surbhi and her crew there, nobody had to worry about anything. They really took care of everything. I got so many compliments from family members and guests about how smoothly the day went and how lovely everything was.
One Events Management are the best investment I made for my wedding!!!

Hiring One Events Management was one of the best decisions we made. Both Surbhi and Archana were professional, punctual, knowledgeable, attentive and organized. Our guests still compliment us on how well managed our event was!

You will find many event management companies that can offer services that are similar to One Events mgmt; what sets them apart is their decision making ability. They 'just figured it out' on the day of the wedding without bothering me or my parents. They were able to answer to vendors and guests and made sure that everyone was comfortable.

Lastly, they really do cater to the bride, groom and our families. Noticing that we were hungry amidst taking group photos, they quickly fixed us a plate of food and ensured that we squeezed in 5 minutes to eat! Not having to worry about these (not so) small things really made a big difference.

We highly recommend them and would use them again for another party!

One Events did a fantastic job for my wedding. Having a 3-4 days indian wedding is no easy task and planning can be tough. With two large families and making sure every detail is not over looked OEM made sure everything ran smoothly each day, and took the initiative to solve any problems so i wasn't overwhelmed. Their team is so supportive as well, and I appreciated each person who ran around, took pics of the baraat while i waited, made sure each vendor was taken care of, and just overall eased the tension of what was going in the background that i wasn't aware of. I highly recommend any bride, especially a indian bride to use their services to make wedding planning fun, smoother, and stress free, you will need it because at one point it will drive you crazy and especially wedding day! We got the day of wedding planner package from One Events. They were just amazing! Surbhi Patel handled our entire wedding and reception events along with a team member. They were both just fantastic in handling all the wedding day tasks. They went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were not bothered with or stressed about anything on the day of the wedding. They did in fact take all our wedding day stress away! We cannot begin to thank Archana and Surbhi enough for the outstanding service they provided for our wedding in January 2014.

We had interviewed several day-of coordinators for our multi-cultural wedding, and we knew immediately that One Events Management would be a perfect fit. Archana was kind, easy-going, and knowledgable on the phone. We knew we wanted someone involved in the most important day of our lives to be NORMAL!!! Both of us wanted to feel comfortable around the event coordinators; Archana and Surbhi have the ability to make you feel like an old friend instantly.

In the weeks leading up to our event, One Events Management was readily available via the phone or email for discussing minor/major details. We never had to wait more than a few hours to get a response back, even at night or on a weekend. When bad weather cancelled our final walk-through, Archana and Surbhi reassured us and were very flexible and easy to reschedule with, despite their distance from our wedding facility.

On the day of our wedding, One Events Management was nothing short of amazing. They were timely, professional, and organized. We never had one worry the entire day. Organizing a 300 person, multi-cultural affair was definitely not easy, but Archana and Surbhi handled the issues gracefully and quietly. They went above and beyond their duties as planners - special thank you to Surbhi for not only being a wedding coordinator, but a hairstylist/outfit fixer!! They tracked down missing family members, handled final payments, held us to our schedule, made sure we ate, took care of collecting our belongings, and blended seamlessly into the group. We genuinely couldn't have asked for better help.

We both agree that the best money we spent on our entire wedding was hiring OEM!! You will not be disappointed!!!

We would 100% recommend their services to anyone - and will definitely be using them in the future (We hope you do baby showers!! ;))

Archana and Surbhi are amazing. I had one of those weddings where I booked the venue and each vendor separately. On the day of, there was no way I was going to coordinate all the deliveries and command the flow of the day all by myself. That's where Archana and Surbhi came in. I hired them for day-of coordination only, and they met with me three times to go over logistics and visit the venue. They were always very responsive with e-mails. Everything went off without a hitch on the day of the wedding and it would not have been possible without them. I even had 2 surprise guests show up and Surbhi and Archana got them seated, no problem. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you, Archana and Surbhi!

Hiring One Events Management was the single best decision I made for my big Indian wedding. I cannot say enough about the phenomenal job they did. Here's the quick summary: they were extremely helpful, thoughtful, cool-headed, fun, respectful, professional, and responsive.

They met with my non-Indian husband, the banquet manager, and myself a few weeks before the wedding to walk through the space and go through each of our vendor contracts. The week before the wedding, they hosted a meeting for me, my husband, my mom, my husband's parents and grandparents, and my brother. By the end of the FOUR HOUR meeting, *everyone* loved Archana and Surbhi, even my tough judge of a mom. I especially loved how they talked my in-laws through each step of the Indian ceremony to make sure that they would not be lost. They also seriously considered everyone's concerns and input and were in absolutely no rush to get us out.

Between the meeting and the wedding, my brother and I must have sent Archana and Surbhi 100 emails. They did everything with grace and with a very genuine desire to help and make the wedding go smoothly. One of the best things they did was negotiate with my photographer so that we went beyond what I thought we would get under my contract.

On the actual wedding day, they ensured that EVERYTHING went smoothly. Besides all of the coordination they did on the day to get through our timeline, at the end of the night, they realized that our decorator was going to charge us a large fee to come back to pick up chair covers after the reception. Surbhi volunteered to hand deliver the chair covers to their storefront in Edison, NJ (from Tarrytown, NY) the next day. This is truly amazing service and it was something that was completely not expected or even asked for.

And on top of all this, they had smiles on their faces at the end of the night.

i cannot say enough about Archana and Surbhi. Hire them! It will be the best decision you make for your wedding!

OEM are my superheroes! They were there from the beginning to the very end, guiding me through the smallest to the biggest decisions. They even help fix my “negotiation” skills with EVERY vendor I dealt with! I was VERY impressed with them! On the day of the wedding, Surbhi, Archana, and their full staff had the three C’s…Cool, Calm, and Collective. I did not know it at the time, but there were few “issues” that occurred at the wedding and OEM took care of everything without breaking a sweat! They probably did, but they did not show it! I honestly can say that my husband and I were not stressed at all because we knew our wedding was in good hands. They are creative, professional, and wonderful to work with! Thank you very much OEM for making our event a memorable one!

Having to merge two cultures together and planning two weddings to please both sides of the families, I felt a waive of stress once I started to look into planning our wedding. Surbhi and Archana helped planned my two unique weddings right from the beginning stages. They were there every step of the way helping me pick colors to finding venues. Not only were they taking care of things months before the weddings, Surbhi, Archana and their full staff, were handling all of the things I couldn't be responsible for on our wedding day and taking the stress off my shoulders . Having complete faith in these two planners handling things on your wedding day is priceless. They are wonderful to work with and really know what they are doing. They are very creative and very professional Thank you to one events for making our both wedding days a fairytale!

OEM was absolutely a delight to work with. They planned and executed flawlessly!!! I had very unique and complicated event planned outdoors. And I was making numerous changes up until the day before the event. OEM understood my vision and used their own imaginations to enhance it. When the morning of the event came, I was completely shocked at how every detail was perfectly in place and how the whole thing just took my breath away. Archana and Surbhi both put so much focus and effort into my day and it truly shows how this isn't just a career but a passion for both of them. I highly recommend One Events Management to all of you reading this. It won't be long till these girlies are completely booked up years ahead of time!!!

We did not start to plan our wedding immediately after getting engaged, as we understood a small wedding would not be possible, thus taking advice and tips from close friends and family, we decided to take on Surbhi and her One Events Management team to help with the logistics of an Indian wedding and started planning 5 months before the actual wedding. Surbhi is a force to be reckoned with- Shes highly organized, professional, kind and patient. Every event was set up smoothly- from meeting with each of the vendors, taking measurements for each of the halls we used for our events, down to each minute detail- OEM did not hesistate. The vendors that are closely networked with her made each of our events incredibly memorable, not just for us, but each of our guests. 7 months later, and we are still receiving compliments on the decor, food, music, venue and especially the detail-oriented polite OEM crew and Surbhi Patel. Brides and grooms- do not hesitate, contact me if necessary, but definetly hire OEM & Surbhi! You will not regret it.

Surbhi and her team at One Event Management were such a great asset to our wedding day! We had planned out our wedding details pretty well prior to hiring Surbhi but she definitely had value to setting things into motion on the day of. The team was with us from hair and makeup to our good-byes and they anticipated so much of our needs before we even said a word. I remember one instance in particular when I stopped at the bar and was adjusting my shoes while thinking maybe I should change into my flats when suddenly one of the team members swooped in and offered to grab them for me. It was like she read my mind! The entire day went smoothly and they kept us on schedule so nothing was missed. I can't imagine not having them there because without them our families would have been stressed more instead of enjoying the day like they did.
Thank you guys for all your hard work! It was a pleasure working with you.

OEM are a hard working bunch!

You will be so glad that these ladies are with you on your wedding day. By the end of the planning process, my non-Indian husband was very familiar with what to expect, and the Christian Ceremony (that I was less familiar with) went very smoothly as well. By the end of the weekend, everyone else kept coming up to us and telling us how great our planners were, which really demonstrates their impact!
