Best in Birmingham!

Olexa's cakes are AMAZING. Diane takes care of her brides and will make sure everything looks perfect. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted out of my cakes (wedding cake and grooms cake), so Diane took the reigns and executed flawlessly. I could not be happier with how everything turned out!

It's wedding cake from Olexa. What else do I need to say? Having Olexa do the Bride's cake was literally the icing on the cake for the entire wedding. It was fabulous, as always! It helped complete my daughter's dream of a wonderful wedding day. Thank you, Diane Olexa for being a part of her perfect day.

Unbelievable the best cake anyone has ever had at a wedding.. not only was it pretty. It tasted amazing! Everyone still raves about it, a year later. We traveled from Athens, ga to bring this cake in from Birmingham for our daughters wedding.

Olexas did cupcakes for our wedding. Fantastic job! We worked with Letha at Olexa's. She was very helpful during the process of ordering! The owner of Olexa's is very much hands-on also. Love this place and all the people that work there ! Thanks again for a great job!

We were so happy with the services provided by Olexa's; she was very professional and willing to meet the needs of her customer. The bride cake was so beautiful that we didn't want to cut it. We had guest contacting us indicating that was the best cake they have ever tasted; we as well had to agree. We would like to say thanks and the cakes help made our day even more special.........

Olexa's was fabulous!!! Both my cake and my grooms cake turned out perfect and sooooo yummy! I have since gotten a ton of compliments on my cakes and many people telling me that they were the best cakes they had ever had. Plus Diane is a pleasure to work with and delivers exactly what is expected!

Oh my god...If you want your wedding cake to taste as good as it looks then you should definitely give Olexa's a call. By far this is some of the best cake I have ever tasted, if not the best. The cake was beautifully done and my guests kept coming up to me saying, "Your cake is sooooo good." Even after the wedding people were asking if we had any cake left over. The food in her cafe is also quite scrumptious. We worked with Diane and she is so accomodating and sweet. She makes it all about what you want. She was great to work with and the cake wasn't too expensive. Thanks to Olexa's for giving people something good to talk about after the wedding.

I ordered my cake at the last minute from Olexa's and it was gorgeous exactly what i wanted. Diane helped me choose what i wanted all along and could not find from other place. It is a family place and wonderful. The cake was delicious. For my husbands cake we did a Marine corps insignia and it was perfect.

We used Olexa's for both bride's and groom's cakes. They were AMAZING! We wouldn't have used anyone else! Not only did they taste good but they were beautiful. Diane is so fun to work with. She KNOWS wedding cakes and makes excellent suggestions. Our guests raved about both our cakes! Hands down the best cake ever! We're looking forward to trying our top piece next year.

Diane made both our bride's cake and our groom's cake. She was so easy to work with, always responded to our questions immediately (even from vacation), and did everything she could to help us save money. We knew a long time ago that we would use Olexa's for our wedding cakes, as this is "the only" cake store in town :) Everyone gets SO excited when they hear that your cake is coming from Olexas because they know how delicious it will be. Diane made both cake designs personally for us. The bride's cake was a 5 tier vanilla buttercream (her traditional bride's cake flavor that even chocoholics will love) with handmade edible lavender flowers streaming down the front and back of it. It was absolutely breathtaking and beyond delicious! Our groom's cake followed our travel theme and sat on top of my husband's great grandfather's suitcase trunk from WWII. Diane was able to make the 3 tier chocolate fudge buttercream cake (YUM!!!) look exactly like the trunk it was sitting on top of and it looked so good that people didn't even realize it was a cake- they thought it was more suitcases! It was absolutely perfect and delicious. I would only recommend Olexa's (even though we did try a few other places just to make sure!) for your wedding cakes.

The attention to detail was above and beyond expectations. Everyone loved it. We overestimated how much cake we needed but since we froze it the Bride and Groom have plenty to enjoy for some time to come.

We loved our wedding cake! It was delicious and beautiful! It was delivered in a timely manner and directly to our venue. We did provide our own cake stand which helped with the overall cost of the cake.
