I cannot say enough amazing things about Candace as our wedding planner. From the very beginning, she took the time to truly understand us—asking thoughtful, detailed questions that made us feel heard, supported, and completely confident in her process.
On our wedding day, everything went perfectly. I’ve been to so many weddings where something inevitably goes wrong, but with Candace, not a single thing was out of place. She handled every detail seamlessly, allowing us to be fully present and actually enjoy every moment without stress.

The Planner We Didn't Know We Needed!
Candace was such an incredible planner to work with! From our first tour of her venue, up to the day of our wedding she was with us every step of the way! She helped me create a unique vision for our wedding ( a vision that included hanging MASSIVE disco ball in the reception area) and she did everything in her power to achieve it.
She quietly handled all the wedding day issues with a professionalism that allowed us to fully enjoy our day. We truly felt like we were guests at our own wedding!
If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, do it. Invest in your own peace of mind! We are so grateful for Candace and her team!

Best Planner in NC
Like many brides, I debated hiring a wedding planner. Now that I have lived through the process and my wedding day, I firmly believe it is the best money we spent on our wedding. I worked with Candance and Mingle Events through their 60 day out + day of coordinator service. This service was perfect for us. We laid the groundwork of the planning–booking vendors (Candace’s recommended vendor list helped a lot!), developing our vision, and taking care of general planning details like guest lists, invites, etc. Candace and her team took over 2 months out from the wedding day. By then, I was feeling the stress of wedding planning. At the end of our first walkthrough meeting, it felt like the weight of the wedding had been lifted off of my shoulders. Candace’s attention to detail was clearly apparent, and she thought of so many details we never would have considered. Candace took our plans and executed them beyond our expectations–our vision would not have come to life without her.She is clearly an expert at what she does, and it is easy to tell how well respected she is. Every vendor said “wow, she’s incredible!” when I told them she was my planner.
I truly cannot imagine our wedding day without her. We were able to fully enjoy and be present during our wedding day, which was an incredible gift. She took care of every detail, adapted to last minute changes, and kept us laughing throughout! Her entire team was a delight to work with, and I cannot recommend Candace and Mingle events enough!

Mingle Events Wedding Coordination Service
If you are thinking about hiring the Mingle Events team as your wedding coordinator... Stop thinking, and hire them! At first, I thought why should I hire a wedding planner? I was planning to do most of the planning myself. But my venue required at least a day-of coordinator. Mingle Events, actually, came highly recommended by my venue. So I decided to set-up a meeting with them. During our meeting, I found that their 60-day coordination service was the one that best fit our needs for our wedding day. It was a decision I did not regret. My wedding coordinator was actually Candace Hightower, the owner and creator of Mingle Events and I do not know how I got so lucky! She was absolutely amazing. Even though I only had the 60-day service, she was there for me throughout all my planning needs. I couldn't have been happier with the services she provided. She went with us to our walk-through. She knew how to ask all the questions I did not know I should ask. She watched out for us and warned us of all the things we may not need. She helped me with design. On our actual wedding day, she went above and beyond our expectations. She made sure our day went just as we had planned out. No detail was left out. She managed everything so well that if anything had actually gone wrong we did not notice. She truly made us feel like guests in our wedding day and we were able to enjoy and take in every minute of it. There are no words to express how grateful we were for her. Thank you for being a part of our special day and making it be everything we dreamed of and more!

Caroline with Mingle is THE best!
If you aren't sure about a wedding planner, my advice would be to absolutely include it in your budget! I chose a wedding package through my venue that had a planner included, and I was paired with Caroline with Mingle, and it truly was the perfect match. She listened to all of my ideas and visions and made them a reality without me having to stress out. She would email me and sit on calls with me with vendors to make sure that my ideas were being heard. Most importantly, I really trusted her with my big day, and she did not disappoint. Aside from being incredible as a planner, she is just genuinely a good person. I'd highly recommend her to alleviate the stress of wedding planning and making sure your day reflects you as a couple!

BEST in the business. Caroline went above and beyond from start to finish to make sure the wedding ran smoothly. She recommended the absolute best wedding band I have ever seen, and didn't break the bank while doing it. She is 10/10 so well experienced and knows the best vendors to recommend in the area. She became a friend throughout the process and it was amazing to have her there with me on my big day! Whether is was lipstick on my teeth to get off or a drink to bring to me, she does it all. Mingle Events and Caroline Sluder is everything you could ever want in a wedding planner and more. Caroline is not only an incredibly kind person, but she is also a wealth of knowledge with tremendous connections to other outstanding vendors in the wedding industry. My daughter’s destination wedding in Highlands, North Carolina felt a little daunting at first since all the planning had to take place long distance from Florida, but Caroline made the entire process an absolute joy! Caroline took the reins and very quickly became my advocate, mediator, therapist (on occasion), friend, and guide for a process that took over fourteen months to plan during a very stressful global Covid pandemic! I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Caroline and her abilities to bring a bride’s vision to life. She is a true professional and her recommendations, ability to multitask, and keen attention to detail resulted in my daughter’s wedding at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn being an absolute dream come true! Our guests are still gushing over how perfectly executed every detail was, and about what a fun experience this gorgeous fall wedding was for everyone who attended. Where to even begin?! Candace is an amazing person who loves what she does and it shows! I used mingle events wedding coordinator, CAROLINE. She is the sweetest soul and helped me so much starting at 3 months before my wedding and all the day of details. Caroline was completely accessible, anytime I needed her she was right there. If I couldn’t get a hold of a vendors, she would make sure to follow up with them. She set up all of my decorations and she helped with things that I’m pretty sure were not in her job description. She went above and beyond to make my day special. I can’t imagine the day without her, it would have been a disaster. Mingle events is worth every dollar. I would recommend 10/10

I worked with Ashley from Mingle and did the 60-day out package. Ashley jumped in to work in April, even though we delayed our wedding until August (from June). She was extremely communicative and very organized, and helped the day run so smoothly that I didn't have to stress about a single thing. She thought of all the details that probably wouldn't have even crossed my mind until the day of, so everything was perfectly planned. She helped my vision for the day come to life and was so sweet and friendly the whole night - I don't think she left until 11:30 or so!! She also knows a lot of the Asheville area vendors that we used, so she was able to quickly and easily make changes to anything we needed to. She was so flexible with us moving the date and I am so, so happy we had her!

Fairytale Godmother Caroline- Best Wedding Planner Ever
I truly wish there were a rating available higher than 5 stars for Mingle Events- specifically their planner Caroline. She made every single dream of mine come true for our wedding day- even ones that I thought were a shot in the dark. She is a godsend to the wedding planning industry and makes the whole process feel like a well oiled machine (even when I am having bridal meltdown #57495789). You don't even have to stress with her around because she keeps you on track and hones in on what it is you love and care most about regarding your day! She goes above and beyond to make the wedding planning process feel special for the bride and makes decisions less overwhelming. By the time it got to be wedding day, she truly felt like a part of our family (she was in every family group thread at that point) and was an honorary bridesmaid. I did not have to worry at all on wedding morning as she was a fairy godmother running around making all the visions we had talked about for the past year a reality. I truly was able to kick my feet up and see my wedding day become a fairy tale daydream without me lifting a finger. Caroline is worth every ounce and more in gold! Planning was Flawless
Going into my big day I knew that I needed at least a day of wedding planner and I got so much more with Caroline from Mingle. Mingle was suggested by our venue as they work closely together for a number of their events. Caroline was assigned for my big day and she was the biggest helper! Since we were an out of town couple we only had one day to pick out linens, decor, plates, etc for our big day. Caroline kept us on task and we were able to make decisions and capture the look we wanted for our big day. She was always available for my texts no matter how early (or late) and on the weekends. Caroline definitely went above and beyond and I felt like we were friends by the end of the process. My wedding day went on without a hitch! The day did go by fast as any other wedding day but there was not one single hiccup. We were on time and ready to go according to plan. This is no small fete and greatly appreciated!

Thank you mingle events (especially Emily) for the most amazing wedding experience. Mingle truly has such a high standard that they hold themselves to when planning a wedding and it truly shows. The wedding planning process was so easy, even being an out of town bride. Emily was always available to answer questions and give us suggestions throughout the planning process. Everything on our wedding day ran so smoothly and I can truly attribute that to Emily and our vendors for working so well together. Emily made sure that we were taken care of the entire wedding weekend starting at the rehearsal. I didn’t stress or worry about anything on our wedding day because Emily was already 10 steps ahead of me. She didn’t let any detail go untouched. The Best Out There!
Hands down, Ashley with Mingle Events is the absolute best planner out there. She brought every single detail to life on our big day, and there truly wasn’t one glitch (that we know of, anyway!!)
Our venue package included Mingle Events services - where we were blessed with be partnered with Ashley for the sixty days leading up to our wedding, and then we of course had her on the wedding day. She was so quick to reach out and introduce herself, and was openly available to answer any questions and provide any advice and recommendations, even before our sixty days began. We truly felt that we could reach out to her at anytime since meeting her, and she would be there to help us.
When we met on site for the sixty day walk through, Ashley essentially already had the day planned out and in the bag. She is so flexible, easy going, and truly wants to make your day as perfect as possible, and will absolutely find a way to do it. As we were chatting, she listened to all of our requests, and gave great suggestions on how to flow the day so it was seamless...and of course, it was.
During the morning of, ceremony and reception - Ashley navigated the day so perfectly, and was so calm, which made it much easier to enjoy the day. Anytime we worked with Ashley, she truly made us feel like we were the only couple she was working with, and her focus was on us and getting our day set up perfectly. Ashley's organization, communication, and genuine soul are few of the countless reasons she is the best planner out there. We love you!! Thank you for making our day so perfect!

There are not words to describe Mingle Events, especially Miss Candace. Candace is a DREAM. She is the glue that will keep your wedding together, the fuel that will keep it running, and she is nothing short of a superhero on your big day. My husband and I live out of state and she made the entire process of planning so smooth. I remember people asking me questions that any normal bride would be concerned about, and my response would always be “It’s fine, Candace has it under control!” (And I promise you I am a worrier/perfectionist 99.9% of the time!) We both feel like our best friend helped plan our wedding after getting to know her through out the past two years. Our guests have done nothing but rave about how every single detail was simply perfect at our wedding and that is all thanks to this lady. If I could give any advice to any couple planning a wedding, HIRE MINGLE EVENTS! You will never ever regret this.

From assembling the incredible team of vendors we had, to dealing with us at our most stressed out and indecisive, to just being a warm and smiling face that got us through everything we seriously could not have asked for a better friend to guide us through everything over the last year and a half. Best Wedding Planner Ever.
My wedding planning experience with Mingle Events, specifically, Caroline Mccrory, was absolutely flawless! My husband and I picked to get married in Asheville, NC as somewhat of a destination wedding. We live at the coast of NC and I was worried about planning from afar but Caroline made everything a breeze. She was more than willing to accommodate any of my indecisions and helped me make the best decision. Saying Mingle went above & beyond is an understatement. Caroline even went as far as getting on her hands and knees to blow-dry my dress after it rained during my first look. We had absolutely no hiccups at our wedding that took place at Chestnut Ridge in June all thanks to Mingle Events with the partnership of Chestnut Ridge made our day so perfect. Not only was Caroline my wedding planner she also became a true friend.

Where do I even begin!? My husband and I got married May 24, 2019 at Chestnut Ridge with the help of the FABULOUS Caroline with Mingle Events! The first time we met I knew she was the one for the job - our personalities meshed perfectly! She was there with us every step of the way… Thank God!! She was so sweet and attentive to all of my ideas, questions, and concerns. Her organizational skills were impeccable. It is difficult for me to envision an idea without visuals so she went above and beyond sending me photos of different ideas. On the wedding day my family and friends were worried that I would be so stressed I wouldn’t have fun and actually enjoy the celebration. They were SHOCKED on how stress-free and relaxed I was throughout the day - it was ALL because of Caroline and her timeline!! The wedding was gorgeous, full of love/laughter and SO. MUCH. FUN. Everything was just PERFECT!!! The best part of this process (besides getting married, of course!) is the friendship that we’ve formed.

Awesome experience!
We loved working with Candace and have to acknowledge this was not an easy wedding to coordinate! Planning a destination wedding is never easy and even more difficult when the bride and groom get transferred to London 6 months before the wedding! Most of the planning was done with a few concentrated visits, emails and shared documents and Mingle was on top of it all. From the planning to the vendor selection to the coordination on the day of the event, Candace helped give the bride and groom the wedding of their dreams. Even the guests commented on how wonderfully it all came together. Would highly recommend Candace to anyone who is looking for a top notch planner for their event.

My husband and I got married at Chestnut Ridge a month ago and Caroline with Mingle Events was seriously a lifesaver! Throughout the wedding planning process I was finishing up my last year of grad school and I changed jobs.. needless to say I was doing a lot! Mingle Events and owner Candace Hightower are the best in the business. We worked with Candace for a year and a half leading up to our big day. She was extremely responsive to any question, big or small. She knows ALL the best vendors in Asheville - I couldn't have imagined a better Dream Team and Candace put that team together through her recommendations to us for photography, DJ, catering and more. She even got her amazing team member Caroline in on the action to assist with hotel blocking. I could keep going. Mingle's services were included with my venue's package and I began working with Candace as my Day Of Coordinator 60 days prior to my wedding. Her communication and organizational skills are truly unmatched - she brought all of my planning and vendors together, coordinating a seamless timeline that made our wedding absolutely perfect. Being from out of town I was in need of some suggestions and she not only had a recommendation but a contact for everyone! My venue had an all inclusive option, which is the direction I chose in the hopes that it would simplify everything. Through this, I was connected with Mingle and their coordinator, Caroline. They/she was amazing. Extremely responsive, reassuring, knowledgeable, and so friendly! I absolutely loved working with her. We got to be close and continue to talk post-wedding. She answered emails/texts/calls patiently and walked through any decisions we were making. It was so nice to focus on the fun of getting married while she put together a seamless timeline and handled the logistics. Where do I begin? Let me start my saying the moment we hired Mingle and decided upon the year long full coverage package, everything fell into place. It was like a weight lifted. The fabulous Caroline McCrory took care of every single detail from that moment until weeks after the wedding making sure every detail was perfect. Oh my goodness, where do I begin?! I could not have planned my wedding day without Mingle! I found out fairly early on after signing the contract, that I'd be working with Caroline and was told she was fabulous! Well fabulous doesn't even begin to describe her! She sent us an email almost right after we'd signed our contract to introduce herself. Throughout the whole process of planning, she was always so helpful, and responsive (even answering my random text messages with questions at 10 o clock at night) and of course, insanely organized! She became not only my wedding planner, but a friend and we just love her! I miss working with her already! Mingle events is AMAZING!!!! My husband and I got married at a venue and went with the inclusive package, which included mingle events wedding planner... and thank goodness it did!!!! We had Ashley, who is INCREDIBLE. Not only did Ashley make this process of wedding planning literally a breeze in the park but she was also an amazing friend, and a great go to person for anything I needed. We also rented the vintage car for our exit, which was provided by mingle events. The driver was great, super chill and easy going! It was a great way to end the night. Nate and I got married at Chestnut Ridge on 11.09.2018 and we hired Candace from Mingle Events to be our Day of Planner. Let me tell you that this was the BEST decision we made. Candace worked her booty off. Every single person commented on how AWESOME our planner was. You hear so many people say "I hired a planner and she didn't show up day of or she didn't do anything". Well lucky for us we we hired the right people because ours did. She even did more than just be day of planner. She started to introduced herself a year out so we can get to know each other. Anytime I had a question and I would send her an email or a text I would literally get a response right away. Candace made me feel like I was her number 1 priority. You would never know she would have like 3 more weddings that same weekend. Candace is the most organized person and one of the hardest workers I have ever met. Starting 60 days out she was on top of it! If you are looking for a planner Mingle Events is the way to go! I promise you will not be disappointed, you would be stupid not to hire them!

Candace did an amazing job planning our wedding!! I knew planning a destination wedding would be hard but Candace took all the stress away. We couldn’t have asked for anything better! She made our vision come to life in ways I didn’t think possible. She answered every question I had and even went above and beyond. She made our connection with every vendor not only possible but also special and unique. We were late to the game getting a planner only 2 month away from our wedding, but Caroline jumped in right away. She contacted all my vendors for me and took all that stress off me. She communicated everything perfectly with me and my husband which was a huge relief considering we lived in a different state.
On the wedding day Caroline handled everything exactly the way I had pictured it and knew what I needed without me even asking! She’s a pro! I highly recommend working with Mingle, they made our special day flow seemlessly. Especially if you are getting married at Chestnut Ridge, they know that venue so well. In true WCU Catamount fashion, Emily did an amazing job helping me plan my 10/20/18 wedding. Emily was my '60 day coordinator' and looking back I do not know what I would have done without her! Even before 60 days she would touch base and keep me on track with booking vendors, etc. She made the timeline and every detail of my wedding day flow perfectly. I highly recommend Mingle Events and Emily Dover as your wedding coordinator!

Our dream wedding would not have been possible without Candace and her team. She helped us get everything we wanted for our wedding, and the day of the wedding, we didn't have to do one thing. Ashley from Mingle was our Day-Of wedding coordinator. Her work was beyond amazing, being on top of every detail! I received many compliments from family members about how valuable her presence was on our big day. Additionally, Ashley's relaxed vibe really muted the stressful nature of wedding planning.
My husband and I were skeptical of hiring a planner at first - of course wedding season can be financially demanding. From our experience with Mingle, this service is truly priceless. To have someone handle the details, be in contact with your many vendors - it completely enhanced our day in every way. Where do I begin? Candice and Mingle events is phenomenal. Our wedding in Asheville at Chestnut Ridge could never have been more beautiful and well put together. Candace effortlessly put together a team of vendors that had every aspect of the wedding covered. She is professional, knowledgeable under pressure and is able to make split second decisions to keep everything running smoothly. We certainly couldn’t have done it without her! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to have their wedding in Asheville or the surrounding area. She and her employees do a fantastic job and allow a Mother of the Bride to relax and enjoy her daughter’s wedding. Wedding Planning from Abroad - Flawless Experience with Mingle Events
I cannot say enough kind words about Candace and the Mingle Team!
My husband and I planned our wedding while living abroad with a 6-hour time difference. Though we were organized, there was just no way we could have ever pulled off our dream wedding without help.
Luckily, we were introduced to Candace when my mother in law was scouting venues for us.
Our favorite venue (Honeysuckle Hill) happened to be owned by Candace. (She also is the owner multiple wedding businesses including Mingle Events & Vintage Rentals and Engaged Asheville!)
As I hadn’t had a chance to meet Candace yet - I checked out her Mingle Events & Vintage Rentals site and fell in love with her style. We took the leap and said yes knowing we were in good hands as she is so connected in the Asheville wedding community.
Candace and the Mingle team did a wonderful job walking us through the entire process; helping us organize a dream team of vendors, developing timelines and aligning logistics for a flawless wedding day.
We did all this planning working through a 6-hour time difference and mainly over email, which was a big help with our busy work schedules.
We were in Asheville for only 2 days before the wedding around the holidays and the Mingle team organized appointments, tastings, and walkthroughs with all our vendors in that short time period. It was a whirlwind but really special that we could engage directly with our vendors and be able to do all the fun wedding planning that we would have missed out on otherwise.
It was a constant question about how I was coping with planning a wedding an ocean away and I could honestly tell my friends and family that it was LOW STRESS. We had wonderful guides the whole way through and the team was always prompt in answering any open questions. An additional advantage was the Mingle team could connect directly with the Asheville vendor base and iron out any open queries or align before coming back to me with suggestions. Our vendors and the Mingle team really operated as one team.
When it came to our wedding day - the day was absolutely FLAWLESS. All of our vendors that Mingle organized were absolutely amazing! (And I am not just saying that, we had multiple people genuinely tell us our wedding was the best wedding they have ever attended - food & flowers (Smash Events Inc.), cake (CakesbyGray), music (Collective Music Solutions), atmosphere, venue (Honeysuckle Hill), drinks (Metro Wines) - it was the full package! Our guests were raving and we were able to be totally in the moment on our day vs. worrying about any wedding details or logistics.

Top Notch Wedding Planner
Caroline McCrory was such a pleasure to work with! We hired her as a weekend planner but she was available throughout the process to answer questions and make vendor recommendations when needed, Caroline stepped in about 60 days from our wedding date and created the timeline, contacted vendors, coordinated drop off and pick up of rentals and I'm sure many things I don't even realize. It was like having a friend there to help me at all times on our big day and she truly kept me calm. We felt like guests at our own wedding. I absolutely loved Caroline and highly recommend Mingle Events!!

Candace is absolutely AMAZING! Words cannot express my gratitude for her, Caroline and the entire Mingle crew! From the moment we first met Candace, she put us completely at ease and made us feel certain we were in good hands. She is extremely organized, prompt, creative, calm & collected, the list goes on - - - and all this on top of being one of the most genuine and down-to-earth people I've ever met! For the past year, I honestly felt like I was planning our wedding with my new best friend. I live in Atlanta which could have made planning a wedding in Asheville a little tricky but Candace was always SO on top of everything, maximizing my time in Asheville so I could knock out all the necessary steps as well as planning phone calls for me when I couldn't be physically there. Hiring Candace and the team at Mingle was one of the best choices we made while prepping for our wedding. Since our wedding was a destination wedding, Candace was our go-to person to ensure that all local vendors were on schedule with one another for a smooth wedding day. Plus, Caroline made our rehearsal dinner completely stress-free. From helping coordinate the caterer and drinks at the venue, to setting up some decor we gave to her - literally all we had to do was show up. Then, Candace helped make the vision for our wedding a reality and went above and beyond what we expected. We had told Candace from the beginning that our ideal wedding day was one in which we could be stress-free and be guests at our own wedding. That is exactly how the wedding day went for us, and was pretty stress-free the entire time leading into the wedding because of Mingle's help. We truly can't imagine how our wedding would have been without Candace's help to keep everyone on schedule, set up our decor, and even break down the room at the end of the night. Our wedding day was even better than we expected, and we know that is in very large part to Candace. You can't go wrong hiring her and the ladies of Mingle! We would make that decision again in a heartbeat.

My oldest daughter was married September 8, 2018 in the mountains (we live in charlotte ) . All those who work at Mingle were exceptional. Candace answered all my phone calls, text, and emails promptly which is so important during a wedding when you live out of town and just want things to be perfect They handled everything , we worried for or about nothing. They will now take the reigns of my 2nd daughters wedding which will be only 3 months December 22, 2018 also in the mountains and I know Mingle will do another fantastic job.

Candace planned our September wedding at Chestnut Ridge. She was our month and day-of coordinator, but she was honestly so much more. From helping select and coordinate vendors to guiding us on the small decisions that we never wanted to think about, Candace was our complete wedding savior and we could have NEVER executed our dream wedding day without her. We honestly didn’t expect to, but we truly felt like actual guests at our wedding. Our guests complimented that our wedding was one of the best they’ve ever been to and that everything seemed to flow perfectly. Our planner was Candace Hightower and her team at Mingle Events and OMG these ladies now how to get the job done. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of women to help execute and make our day everything I ever wanted. Having a planner who will truly listen to you, making your needs and desires a priority over everything else, is one of the most important aspects of your wedding planning process. Taylor and I did not ever feel like when we expressed our thoughts or concerns that they were unheard or were not taken care of immediately. And the BEST part of it all is that we did not have one thing go wrong on our wedding day. We had the opportunity to sit back and enjoy the day as if we were guests to our own celebration. There aren’t enough stars to even begin to rate my experience with Mingle. From the day I contacted them I was assigned a day of wedding planner, Caroline and I could not have been matched and blessed with anyone better. Caroline went above and beyond for our not only our wedding, but the weeks and months leading up to it.
Being a destination wedding, she was always there to answer questions about vendors, location, meetings, and tips on how to make the most of our wedding. She always reached out to make sure I was okay and always spoke encouraging words. It was hard to have cold feet when I knew every detail I had been dreaming about as a little girl would come to life through her work. Caroline took my suggestions, pictures and vision and made it into my perfect wedding reality.
I could not have asked for a better company to help plan our day and would not have trusted it with anyone else.
On our way back from the wedding (riding in one of Mingle’s sweet vintage exit vehicles) my husband and I talked about how we would have cut a price somewhere else to make sure we had this company a part of our day. The expense is beyond worth it. Not only did myself, my husband and family get to relax and know everything was taken care of, but we got to enjoy every detail that had been in the making for so long.
Caroline and Mingles experience in the wedding area, knowledge of Asheville and it’s aamzing vendors as well as willingness to help, encourage, and organize is what makes them stand out most.
Not only do I consider Caroline to be THE BEST wedding planner there is, I also consider her now a friend that I get to share life and experiences with.

I chose to buy the venue+planner package at my venue, Chestnut Ridge. I'm so glad I did because I had the joy of working with Candace. On the day of my wedding she made everything run perfect and I never had to questions whether things were getting handled. She kept my massive bridal party in line and made sure everyone was where they needed to be at all times. Leslie was amazing with our Brevard, NC wedding. I lived in Idaho at the time and my parents were in SC, but Leslie managed everything. She was the greatest coordinator and we were able to get vintage chinaware and a beautiful blue couch from their rentals. I had the privilege of working with Caroline McCrory as my weekend coordinator for my wedding. She was absolutely incredible and went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how I pictured it. I paid for a weekend coordinator but i feel as though I had a full blown wedding planner because of all the time and effort Caroline devoted to my wedding. I would 100% recommend Mingle to anyone getting married in the Asheville, NC area and if you can, ask for Caroline.

You can’t find a better wedding planner than Candace! She is on top of it, every second through the planning process and execution of the wedding day. Having just moved to the area right before getting engaged, it was wonderful having a wedding planner with so many in-house vendors and services to offer. Every vendor I used, she recommended — and they were exactly what I wanted without me even knowing it. I didn’t need to travel to other locations to meet with individual vendors, I just met them all at her studio (Engaged). So easy! I loved every aspect of my wedding planning process and wedding. I can’t thank Mingle enough!
P.S.: My mother loved Mingle so much, she is planning her 40th wedding anniversary party with them!

I had the pleasure of working alongside Caroline McCrory for Day Of Wedding Planning! Caroline was absolutely perfect! I had very high standards, and she exceeded them all! She was on top of all my stressors before I even had a chance to stress about them. She fixed all the problems & obstacles that were thrown my way throughout the planning process. I really couldn't say enough great things about this company and Caroline individually. She made my dream wedding become a reality, and she also became a friend to lean on on the adventure too. Planning a wedding can be SUPER stressful, but not with MINGLE. I highly recommend them for any event you are planning! It is worth every penny! Even If you have a tight budget like I did, I promise you will not regret hiring them to be on your team!

I hired Candace to provide Day-Of service for our September 17' wedding. We were the first wedding at a brand new venue in her area. I will elaborate but I believe this is the best review I can provide...When I first told my then fiance I was hiring a wedding planner to help with the details, he flipped. He couldn't believe "we would spend that money on something we can have a friend do for free". We literally were walking out of venue the night of our wedding and he looked at me and said "The planner was worth every penny, she did an amazing job. I am sorry I doubted it". Not only did I have a little happy dance because I was right but I also could not agree more. Candace and her team were amazing to work with and worth every dollar we spent.
I received compliments by groomsmen, bridesmaids and our family about the job her and her team provided. How great she was at making things happen and it all running smooth. She was the perfect balance of get-to-it and southern charm. The bridal party knew exactly what to do and when to do it. I did not see (or hear) of one thing going wrong. Candace was also great leading up to the big day. We met a month out at my venue, she ran over every little detail and pointed out things that I needed to consider or make happen before hand. The day of she took over the site setup and provided us with the most fairy tale reception that I could every dream of. I provided pictures of my vision and she made it happen beyond my expectations.
I would highly recommend her to anyone that is considering hiring a planner. You will not regret it. I felt like I was a guest at my wedding able to attend, enjoy and soak up every blissful minute.

Candace at Mingle Event is the BEST!! She made my vision come to life! I cannot thank her enough! From the beginning, Candace was very attentive... answering all my countless emails and calls. She REALLY is the person that put me at ease, especially the day of!! The hours leading up to your ceremony can be very stressful... but when you have someone like Candace at your side, you get to relax and enjoy your wedding day! She has years of experience which is great because she knows the best vendors to help pull off an amazing event! My guests were raving about how organized and beautiful everything was and that was only possible because of Candace.

When my daughter decided to have her wedding out of state, we were a little concerned about how we were going to make that happen. My daughter lives in Texas, I'm in Ohio and the wedding is in North Carolina!! Yikes!
Candace of Mingle Events took over and her wedding was beyond our wildest expectations. My daughter and Candace communicated over the preceding months through phone calls, text and emails. Candace has a vast knowledge of everything weddings and was able to set my daughter's mind at ease.
On the day of the wedding, Candace arrived and truly is an amazing professional! I lost count of the compliments that our guests had for Candace, but everyone noticed how perfect the tables were set, the decorations and every detail of my daughter's wedding.
As the Mother of the Bride, if you would like to enjoy your daughter's wedding and not have to be concerned that everything is in its place, you really need Candace!

Candace was our wedding MVP. She went above and beyond time and again. Every vendor she recommended was outstanding. Her attention to detail was great, especially since it isn't our strong point. The months and days leading up to the wedding Candace took the initiative and reached out to us to make sure everything was going to plan and to see if there was anything she could do to help. When the big day arrived, we were truly able to enjoy every moment because Candace was taking care of all the details and any issues that came up. She brought us food and drinks during cocktail hour while we were taking photos. There were several occasions where she was able to check-in with us and suggest changes to the timeline to keep things rolling. When the night came to an end, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Candace worked with our designated friends and family on the clean up and just sent us on our way with a to-go box of food. Thanks to Candace we will never get to know what wedding stress is. We can't say enough good things about her and would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding. Thanks so much Candace!!
