  Melanie Wells Photography photographed our wedding and we are so pleased! She was so helpful and friendly. Us, our family, and our friends quickly became attached to her. She came in as our photographer but left as family. The pictures are absolutely incredible! We knew when our wedding was over all we would have were pictures and looking at her work the emotions are right there in the photos as they were that day. We are more than happy with choosing her to be a part of our special day!

  I came to Kentucky from Kansas City. Originally, my fiancé and I had intended to elope to kentucky. I booked this photographer to photograph our time. As time passed I changed my mind to have the wedding in Kansas City. I had already paid in full and this photographer won't refund on cancellation. She was really understanding of my situation and had no problem with doing engagement photos at a different time instead. My fiancé and I drove to KY with our dog to do photos and it was great! We walked Bardstown while getting pics taken. It was a blast! I really recommend to brides to have fun in your photos. Oftentimes the couples feel awkward on camera and it really shows on film. It's best to ignore any awkwardness and focus on your loved one. In doubt, smile! Melanie did a great job at capturing the fun my fiancé and I had. But we helped by allowing ourselves to have that fun! I highly recommend! The photos were posted so promptly and I got full copyright so my family had prints in less than a week from the shoot!

  Melanie really goes above and beyond the call of duty. She made everything so easy and the results were amazing. We will continue to use her to capture all of life's milestones.

  Melanie was amazing!! Not only does she have an eye for photography and takes great pictures, she makes the whole experience stress free. She helped us the day of wedding with set up and decorations and other things and she didn't have to do that; she chose to. She really got to know Stephen and I as individuals and as a couple and made sure to give us an experience and photos that represented who we are. She came early and stayed late with no issue. She was flexible when I asked for anything. More importantly, she is extremely professional and super nice and she's just fun to be around. I tell anyone who needs pictures taken for anything, to look up Melanie.
