Justine is by far the most amazing planner there could possibly be. From the first conversation we had to the very last, she was on it and made us feel like we were the only couple in the world. Appointments were on time, every time. She did all the communication on our behalf for the vendors we chose, and made it so simple to just feel like we were arriving to our wedding. I will recommend Justine to anybody and everyone who asks for a wedding planner because she truly is the best. -

From start to finish, Justine was an absolute dream to work with. She was my wedding planner and day-of coordinator, and I can honestly say my wedding would not have been what it was without her. Worth every penny.
Planning phase: Justine was incredibly easy to reach! Text, call, email, smoke signals, carrier pigeons, you name it, she was there. She was responsive, professional, and always honest (in the best way) about what was realistic and what wasn’t, which made decision-making so much easier. She managed expectations beautifully and had the most amazing roster of preferred vendors. Every single one of them was top-notch. She’s trustworthy, knowledgeable, and clearly a seasoned expert who knows the wedding world inside and out.
Day-of: This is where Justine truly ****shined****. About 30 minutes before my ceremony was supposed to start, the only highway leading to my venue was shut down for about two hours due to a tragic accident. None of us knew how long it would last, if the police would reopen it, or if our guests would even make it. While I (the bride) was hysterical and in tears, Justine was the calm in the chaos. She was composed, steady, and completely unflappable. She stayed in constant contact with the venue, coordinated with law enforcement for updates, and even called our friends and family who were stuck on the road.
When guests finally began arriving an hour and a half late due to the highway delay, Justine seamlessly pivoted our entire schedule on the fly. She rearranged the timeline so naturally that by the time the ceremony started, you’d never have guessed anything had gone wrong. Her poise, quick thinking, and professionalism saved the day and allowed us to still have the wedding of our dreams.
If you’re looking for someone who’s not only amazing at logistics but also brings calm, competence, and heart to everything she does - Justine is it. She’s the reason I was able to laugh, breathe, and enjoy the best day of my life, even in the middle of complete unpredictability.

We couldn’t be more thankful for Justine. Wedding planning isn’t easy, and out of state weddings add additional planning and coordination that we were not prepared to handle on our own. From the first meeting all the way up to the last minute of the wedding Justine was incredibly valuable. She is knowledgeable, professional, and was a huge help throughout the planning and wedding day coordination.
From the first meeting, Justine helped us understand what the next year would look like (we started planning early), helped us establish our budget, and gave us a timeline for when we will want to have certain things done. She was able to help us coordinate vendors, and bring us multiple quotes for each so we could choose the right one that fit our budget. She also gave us great recommendations and resources for things we wanted to find on our own. She also gave us honest advice along the way about which vendors she has experience working with so we could easily choose. There are a lot of decisions to make with vendors, and Justine was really helpful for us in deciding which choices would really be worth having and which ones we could do without to help us save money. She also has great communication skills and was very responsive when we had questions for her. She was always helpful in sending us follow up emails if we needed to select a vendor, make a payment, or just with any general updates.
She brought up a lot of things we hadn’t considered, and made the wedding planning as easy as possible. We had a hiccup with one of the vendors and that the owner of our catering company suddenly passed away two months before our wedding. Justine immediately was able to find another catering company that was able to match the menu we had selected at a similar price and we were able to book them for our wedding day.
The day of the wedding was very low stress for us. The advice we had been getting from people for months was to make sure we enjoy our wedding, and not stress about the details. Justine had everything covered from start to finish and we felt like we had nothing to worry about, so we could fully enjoy our day with friends and family. We had a ton of people that came up to us throughout the night that told us this was one of the best weddings they had been to, and that the way everything was set up and scheduled was perfect. 100% of the credit for set up and scheduling goes to Justine. We didn’t really have anything to do on the day of the wedding except have fun.
Overall we would 100% work with Justine if we had to do it all over again. Her experience and professionalism were exactly what we needed and we (and our guests) all had a great time at the wedding. Thanks Justine! -

My experience with Luana Events was wonderful. Since my wedding was a destination wedding and we’re from Seattle, having Justine as our planner was one of the best decisions we made. She has extensive experience hosting weddings at Kualoa Ranch, strong vendor connections, and an impressive ability to provide quick solutions whenever questions came up.
Even though I didn’t have bridesmaids, I was able to enjoy a completely stress‑free wedding day because of her. Justine kept everything perfectly on schedule, making sure photography timelines were met and vendors arrived on time. She even recommended a florist who exceeded our expectations while staying within budget.
What stood out the most was Justine’s professionalism, vision, and encouragement. She understood exactly how I wanted my wedding to feel and brought it to life. On the day of, she supported me through an emotional moment before walking down the aisle, which meant so much. Even though she herself was going through a hard time, she still showed up wholeheartedly and gave her very best to make my wedding smooth, beautiful, and perfect.

After interviewing many coordinators, we hired Luana Events based on the instant connection we felt with Justine. She was incredible to work with! We hired Justine for full service coordination and it was the best decision we made for our wedding.
She understood our vision and executed our dreams to make them a reality for our big day. Justine is professional, empathetic, knowledgable, and gives great advice! I asked her opinions a lot throughout the process and she didn't hesitate to give me her opinion on venues, vendors, ideas.... btw her opinions were always the right option we ended up going with! She has a great relationship with all the vendors we worked with which was a bonus - everyone loved working together at our event and it showed!
On the day of the event, she made sure everything ran smoothly and our guests were soooo impressed with her and the team.

The Best Decision We Made – Justine is Unmatched!
Hiring Justine was the best decision we made for our Hawaii wedding. Over 10 months, she was our calm, capable, and caring planner who made the whole process smooth and genuinely fun. Nothing was ever a hassle—she was always available, incredibly organised, and full of great ideas.

After interviewing a handful of wedding coordinators / planners, I found they either offered too much or too little in their packages. After speaking with Justine, she tailored the perfect service package for our needs.
And boy was I happy we went with her!!
Justine is a WEALTH of knowledge which she generously shares. Her insights made us tweak a multiple logistics that made the day of and weeks leading up to the wedding run so much smoother. I ended up losing my phone the day before the wedding, but didn't have any fear or doubt because I trusted her and her team. They delivered a wedding more beautiful than I could have dreamed of. Her instincts are spot on - on the day the flowers we had for our cake were too heavy so she improvised and used some from the florist downstairs and they were gorgeous. We ended up having some difficulty negotiating a few things with our venue and Justine our fairy godmother was able to step in, mediate, and deliver what we wanted.
On top of knowing her stuff and executing like a pro, she is also funny and respectful and really cares about her clients and ensuring they have wonderful, happy celebrations.
We loved Justine so much we worked with her on more events throughout our wedding week :) -

I don't know if I could put into words how incredibly amazing Justine is! I interviewed A LOT of planners/coordinators as I was looking for someone who 1) I connected with 2) understood my vision and what was important to us on our wedding day 3) knew her stuff 4) could help guide and provide suggestions without being pushy or pressuring 5) was respectful and mindful of my budget and 6) who I felt confident who would make sure our day went perfect. To say Justine checked off all of those boxes and more would be an understatement. First of all, she is incredibly kind and you feel like she actually cares about you as a couple. She was also flexible with us. My vision changed a few times over the course of two years, and she was always up for helping me change things, provide suggestions and ideas and answering my zillion questions. She was also so timely with her responses and had great suggestions for vendors and decor. On the wedding day, everything went PERFECT. We literally had the best day and wedding; everyone said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and I credit that all to Justine. Let's be honest, weddings cost money and if you have a budget, you have to prioritize where to allocate your money. I promise that investing in a planner, and specifically Justine, is well worth it. If you are looking to get married in Hawaii (Oahu)...do not look any further than Luana Events!
We were excited that my daughter and her fiancé wanted to have a destination wedding in Hawaii but had no idea where to start and how to plan since my daughter lives in California and we live in Texas. We knew a good planner was essential for us, and research led us to Justine at Luana Events.
From our first contact, Justine was friendly, professional, and responsive. She worked with us every step along the way, guided us to all the right vendors, and kept us on track. Through regular contact via phone, email, texts and zoom calls, we had confidence that she had every detail under control. She was always accessible to answer any questions and offer guidance whenever a new question emerged.
Justine was so knowledgeable with all of the vendors as well. She had various options for them and worked with our vision to help narrow them down to the perfect team for us. She offered suggestions where we asked, and we were so pleased with every detail.
Knowing Luana Events had everything under control, we were all able to relax and enjoy the whole wedding weekend. We had absolutely no anxiety heading into the wedding and the day itself was magical. Justine had everything under control and worked quietly behind the scenes the entire wedding day executing an absolute dream.
It was a little scary thinking of planning a destination wedding with so many unknowns, but we are so grateful we found Justine to put our minds at ease and be our one-point contact to execute the event of our lives. If we could have multiple Hawaii weddings, we would without hesitation use Luana Events over and over again to plan and coordinate our wedding!
Planning such a momentous event 2,500 miles away without ever meeting and evaluating vendors takes a considerable amount of trust, and Justine and her team made what would have been an entirely stressful and costly exercise in vendor selection and planning, effortless.
From our first meeting, we immediately felt at ease. We had our wedding at the coveted Kualoa Ranch and Justine knew all the ins and outs. We wrapped that meeting with clear action items and a list of recommended vendors and deadlines - I have never loved being told what to do more than with Justine!
The vendors that she recommended are exceptional - from the food, drinks, equipment - many of our guests were (and still are) raving to us how memorable our wedding was.
Justine is an excellent sounding board, and helped guide our decision making based on her experience from big ticket items like entertainment and dessert, down to the details of color schemes. She is extremely responsive, organized, and thoughtful - and should we mention patient - as we may have flip-flopped on certain decisions throughout the planning process. She gave her honest opinions and was mindful of our budget concerns while helping us pull off the party of a lifetime.
When the day finally came, Justine and her team were also our day-of-coordinators and they ensured that we were always on schedule and that everything was executed flawlessly. We had a smaller wedding back home and worked with another day-of-coordinator who dropped the ball multiple times resulting in us coordinating during our wedding. However, working with Justine and team allowed us to fully enjoy our wedding day with confidence.
Justine is an amazing person to work with, and we were so blessed to have the opportunity to work with her and her team at Luana Events. We highly recommend Justine and her team! -

Justine was instrumental in helping us plan our May 2023 wedding at Kualoa Ranch. From our first call I could tell she was very experienced and knowledgeable on Oahu weddings. She had great recommendations for vendors, and when our main rental company fell through she was able to get everything covered from 3 different groups instead, being mindful of our budget. Having a wedding at Kualoa can be complicated because of ALL the required rentals (including cooking equipment for caterers, generators, lights, etc) but she knew exactly what was needed. The morning of our wedding it was raining and she calmed my fears and suggested moving the dinner under a covered area at the venue, which wasn’t the original plan but she rearranged the seating chart and everything went perfectly. She paid attention to tiny details too, like making sure my parents had seats saved that faced the couple during dinner, and fixing my hair before photos. Her pricing was very reasonable considering all the work she did. She is no-nonsense and can be a little blunt at times, but honestly that’s what’s needed when dealing with tons of vendors all on island time! She was very receptive to our ideas and suggested ways to improve on some ideas as well. We are so glad we used Justine! -

While researching event coordinators for our wedding, we came across Luana Events, with the phrase "Plans Well With Others". The cuteness and cheekiness of that phrase prompted me to reach out. That led to us having the best celebration we could possibly have had.
Without getting into too many details, our party changed dramatically from the time we started working with Justine to the time of the party taking place. Justine was flexible and communicative throughout the whole process, and rolled easily with every life event that caused us to need to change our party. Honestly, it was the most relaxing event planning I have ever had.
The best thing I did for this celebration was simply listen to and trust Justine. I was having this celebration out of my own state, and so had no knowledge of any vendors. I hired every vendor who she recommended, and every single person or company she recommended showed up and over delivered. Justine knows her business. She knows who does the best job and who is trustworthy. It is because of her hard work and organization that the party came together perfectly.
Look no further if you want an easy to work with and supremely competent even planner. I cannot recommend her highly enough. -

We had a short rehearsal with her and the wedding party as well that set the tone for the day of - everyone felt comfortable and trusted that she would execute everything smoothly for us. On the big day she was totally on top of everything. The flow of the wedding was very important to us and she made sure the entire day went completely seamlessly. Our wedding day morning started with a government advisory for a major thunderstorm. We had to makes changes to the venue last minute and Justine took charge! Everything went so smoothly - in fact, everything probably turned out better and more beautiful than how it was originally planned. I have only amazing things to say about Justine and her team! Extremely responsive and helpful in every way when it came to our wedding at Turtle Bay. The whole event was executed flawlessly and it was the best decision to hire Luana Events because it meant that me and my husband could enjoy our entire wedding. We didn’t have to worry about a thing, and that was one thousand percent worth it. Luana Events took care of the entire process from set up to break down in the most impressive way as well as kept the reception on schedule. The best time.
We were planning our 25th anniversary/vow renewal and had already chosen the venue and found Luana Events in the brochure given to us by the venue. We are so happy that we chose her. The Absolute Best Planner a Bride Could Dream Of
Luana Events absolutely knocked it out of the park as my wedding planner. When I first started planning, I really wasn't sure if I needed a full planner or if I could make it work with my family on pulling everything together. I look back at that moment and CANNOT believe that thought crossed my mind. There is so much work and time that goes into even the "casual" wedding that I had, I could not imagine not having Luana Events by my side.
The team was communicative, understanding, and was always on top of everything, even after the big day. No surprise as well, since Kualoa Ranch recommended Luana Events as one of their top planners!
Pros
- The day of was perfect beyond my dreams! Every little thing was just handled by the team. My dress broke because I was dancing the whole night away and within seconds the team came running up with safety pins to my rescue.
- I live in LA and I never felt any negatives to long distance planning because of how malleable Luana Events was

Justine was the perfect coordinator for us! From our first video chat with her, she was knowledgeable and experienced, listened to our requests and hopes for our wedding, and made us feel comfortable working with her. She had done many weddings at both Kualoa Ranch Secret Island and Moli’i Gardens. We wanted a coordinator who knew how to run a smooth transition between the two venues for ceremony and reception.
We originally planned for a 2021 wedding that was postponed to 2022. Justine helped with a smooth transition between the dates and communicating with our other vendors. She is easy to communicate and has quick responses. We felt comfortable asking her any questions we had. All of her vendor recommendations were great and many of the vendors we used were ones she recommended.
On our wedding day, Justine helped the day run smoothly. She kept the day on schedule and transitions happened on time.
We loved working with Justine and highly recommend working with her!

Wedding Planner
My husband and I got married at Kualoa Ranch (Moli'i Gardens and Secret Beach) on 6./10/22.
I hired Justine from Luana events for partial planning about a year in advance. Justine was instrumental in assisting me with my wedding vision and helped me stay on track when all my ideas were running wild. She also helped me stay in line, when my ideas or thoughts just were not realistic...and that's what I needed! for someone to tell me directly what would or would not work. Ultimately, my wedding day was absolute perfection and I know much of the flawlessness of the day was due to Justine keeping everyone organized. Truth be told I think I saw her maybe a handful of times that day bc she was else where making sure other vendors were doing what they needed to do.
If I had to do it all over again, I would still choose Justine for Luana events! professional and affordable. I think for weddings you get what you pay for....and I do not recommend going for the cheapest person out there for your wedding planner, bc they can make or break your stress level on your wedding day and what's the point of it all if you don't thoroughly enjoy yourself! so MAHALO NUI LOA JUSTINE for a wedding day better than I could have dreamed of!! -

Justine Miller was referred to us by Kualoa Ranch. She answered my calls and my questions right away. She is very knowledgable and experienced with "The Secret Island". Even though we met for the first time on the day of the ceremony, I felt very comfortable giving her full control and letting her take over. Justine and her team was very professional and efficient. She also found the Ukelele Player for us to play to our guest and to play for the ceremony. When I was searching for Wedding Planners, Justine was the only one who didn't make me feel like our venue was not big enough for them. We both live in New York and have time-consuming careers that left us with little time to plan a complicated event, so we were very nervous about having a destination wedding halfway across the world. When we booked Kualoa Ranch as our venue, we asked for a recommendation for their absolute best wedding planner and without hesitation, they recommended Justine at Luana Events. She lived up to her sterling reputation in every way (I should mention that it was not just the Kualoa Ranch people who spoke highly of her - every vendor we spoke to said she was incredible, and when were staying at the Four Seasons prior to the wedding and mentioned to the staff there that we were getting married in Hawaii, they also knew Justine and spoke very highly of her. It seems that anybody who is in Hawaii and in the wedding industry knows Justine!). We had no clear picture of what we wanted our wedding to look like, had done no research into wedding planning, but had lots of grand - and very vague - ideas about what we liked. Justine had a knack for listening to us ramble about general (and sometimes conflicting) concepts and somehow intuitively understand what would work for us. Every single vendor who she recommended was absolutely wonderful (and they all clearly loved working with her!). We wanted food and drinks that were unique and interesting and more than the stereotypical wedding menu, and she delivered with recommendations for vendors that had amazing menus with locally-sourced ingredients and Hawaiian and Asian influences that our guests raved about. We wanted a photographer with a creative point of view, and she sent us a photographer with exactly the type of portfolio we were looking for. We sent exactly four Pinterest photos of the type of decorations we were looking for, and she created a venue design with florals and furniture that were instagram-worthy. She was extremely organized and thorough. Several times the groom had panic attacks over the vast number of things that needed to get done that we hadn't even thought about, but every call with Justine placated him because she was always one step ahead, and always had everything under control. In addition to the wedding itself, Justine planned our welcome reception for the night before and the farewell brunch, each of which were exactly what we were looking for. The most stressful part of the wedding was that we weren't stressed! We had so many friends tell us how exhausted they were planning their wedding and making sure everything went perfectly that we thought we were doing something wrong, because we hadn't really had to put in any work at all. And yet, everything went off without a hitch, not a single odd lag in timing or even a tiny mistake. Two months later, we still have friends telling us it was the best wedding they ever went to. -

An All-Star Wedding Planner
Look no further for a wedding planner. My husband and I are from Toronto and dreamt of our wedding in Hawaii after numerous visits to this island. We knew where and what we wanted our wedding day to look like but didn't know how to make it come to life. That's where Justine came in to the rescue and honestly made everything we dreamt of come to reality. From vendor recommendations to getting things set up for us - she was on the ball. For a perfectionist like me, I really felt so at ease with the way she planned and made sure we were on the right track. We started planning October 2019 and made plans for a May 2021 wedding and a visit in between to ensure that everything we wanted will come out to play on our wedding but due to Covid our plans did not go the way we wanted it to. But Justine was able to help us move our date to September 2021 and have everything the way we wanted it to for the day, without having to be there to psychically plan ourselves - which did give me anxiety since I really wanted to be there to see everything. Justine was responsive, detailed and sympathized with everything we were feeling leading to our wedding - and that is exactly what you want in a wedding planner. As we approached our wedding date, covid restrictions prevented us from having the big wedding we envisioned but Justine was able to quickly adjust and ensure us that our wedding will still come out the way we imagined - and she was right. The wedding day was perfect - I didn't have to worry at all because I knew I was in good hands. The entire morning we felt so at ease and knew she would carry out what we envisioned and for that I have forever grateful.

Best Wedding Planner EVER!!
My wife and I got married at the Low Camp venue in Kualoa Ranch, Hawaii.
After selecting this challenging venue that came as an open space (with no tables, chairs, electricty, or bathrooms) we were on the hunt for a top notch wedding planner. We are 5000 miles away in NJ with a 6 hour timezone difference. Kualoa Ranch sent us a list of wedding planners and we were on the search ourselves on social media.
We wound up interviewing 5+ wedding planners until we stumbled upon Justine from Luana Events. From the initial 30 minute conversation with Justine we knew she would be the one for us due to her intimate knowledge of the Kualoa Ranch location plus her warm and bubbly personality.
The planning phase was very seemless with Justine. Obviously not being a Hawaii native we had no idea which vendors would do a good job and for a reasonable price for the budget we had laid out with Justine. Justine always had 3+ vendor recommendations for us for which all had 5 star reviews across social media platforms.
Planning this wedding was almost like building a custom house. Every single aspect from the fork, knife, plates, flowers, etc. needed to be selected and rented by various vendors. Justine guided us hand-in-hand throughout the wedding planning process. We shared a Pinterest board with various pieces of wedding aspects that we liked, and then Justine used our theme to create a vision for our wedding. From the onset, Justine had our best interest in mind, providing her perspective on what may or may not work well with the venue. We trusted Justine with all of our vendors and she kept us on track with all the various information needed from each vendor.
Given the COVID climate we were in we actually had to "plan" our wedding 3 times. The first date was confirmed prior to COVID and was going to be right in the middle of the pandemic. By the time COVID started, we had already signed all the contracts with our vendors. The second replan was the new date pushed into 2021 due to COVID. Justine quickly stepped in and helped us revise all the contracts we had already signed. The final replan came 6 days before the wedding when the Hawaii governor placed new restrictions for outdoor events, causing us to cut our guest list down to 25! Justine thought stragetically and expeditously with us and we found a way within the day that would work. From then on the clock was ticking and we could tell she was running on jet fuel to make this wedding happen (and it did!).
The wedding day could not have been smoother. Justine and her assistant were at the wedding location all day (in the blazing sun) ensuring venders were arriving and setting up in the appropriate location. When we arrived at the venue for our first look, everything was pretty much set up and we were ready for primetime. The whole wedding was coordinated perfectly and everyone from guests to vendors knew exactly what to do and when.
This was truly the best day for both my wife and I. If any of our friends were to get married in Hawaii we would 100% recommend Justine and her team.

Working with Justine was a dream come true - she is so hard working and incredibly kind. My wedding would not have been the same without her. Planning a wedding is one thing, having a destination wedding is another and postponing a destination wedding through a global pandemic is a whole other thing and Justine made it all really easy. Justine worked with me through multiple postponements due to COVID. As I was beginning to plan my destination wedding, I found Luana Events through some of my initial google searches for a coordinator local to Oahu, and the amazing reviews were impossible to ignore. The reviews were accurate - Justine was incredible to work with every step of the way. She was very responsive, knowledgeable, and professional, and was so patient with our endless questions. I was intimidated by the idea of planning a destination wedding at first, but Justine made everything a total breeze. Planning your dream wedding is already an overwhelming task, then add dealing with a global pandemic to your list of problems! Justine is my hero. I honestly don't know how I could have survived without her. She was always so quick to respond to every email and dealt with all of my worries and demands like a champ! She always had an amazing and positive attitude and made this process for me and my Fiancé so easy. She simply took all of our stress away.
Because of COVID, we had to reschedule our wedding about 4 times. Justine made everything happen. She contacted all of our vendors and took care of every single detail. I never stressed because I knew that she would handle it perfectly.
My Fiancé and I ended up having to postpone our event until COVID is completely over. After making this devastating decision, i told justine and she contacted all of our vendors and was able to get us ALL OF OUR MONEY BACK! This was such a HUGE relief for us considering we are both unemployed from the pandemic!
As soon as COVID is behind us, Justine will be my first call. I have complete faith that whenever we do end up having our wedding, it will be the most magical and perfect day of our lives, thanks to her!

Justine with Luana Events was such an amazing help during our wedding planning process and day-of coordination. I had seen Justine handle a friends wedding a year before mine and knew I could trust her to pull together all the last minute details of a wedding. The day of, Justine made some key decisions for us, like moving our reception inside rather than the courtyard we had our wedding at, as it was really windy and rainy. They were decisions that we were just not in the headspace to deal with and she handled them with openness when we were set one way and decisiveness when we were not ready to decide. She also gave some amazing recommendations along the way, such as our florist who created amazing bouquets and arrangements that we got so many compliments on. Hire Justine, you simply won't regret it. I can remember reading these reviews when starting out on the planing process...
My husband and I opted for Justine's mid-level package. I didn't want a "day of" coordinator who wasn't involved in the planning. Also, my experience thus far was that dealing with vendors in Hawaii is sometimes frustrating, and I needed help. I was also fine to do a good amount of research and heavy lifting. All-in-all, this package worked well for us.
We're Canadian and so cost was definitely something we were mindful of given unfavourable exchange rates. However, we also had about 60 guests and wanted to show our guests a great time and something special for coming so far. We chose Paliku Gardens at Kualoa Ranch as our venue (before hiring Justine). Justine was well familiar with the venue and how the set-up would be optimal. During the planning process, Justine was thoughtful, organized, responsive throughout, kept me on track. Her positivity was also something I appreciated as the stress of wedding planning can be overwhelming at times. She was knowledgeable of vendors and how they worked, and some of the finer details between them. I would often ask for her opinion and she provide valuable input to help me execute a vision, all while helping me spend wisely and not unnecessarily. Most importantly, the day of, she completely took control of the event, the pacing, etc. My husband and I truly were able to enjoy the event. Many of my guests complemented us on how professional, and well executed the day and her team was.
We are grateful to Justine for everything. She went over and above in many ways. -

When my husband and I decided to plan our wedding in Hawaii (currently living in Australia), the idea of taking on the planning alone was quite daunting. Luana Event was referred to us by our good friends who had also used the company. After my first phone call with Justine, I knew we needed her to spearhead the planning of our special day. Justine and I spoke a few times on the phone and via FaceTime and she helped us to really mould the ideas we had into a cohesive, beautifully planned and executed day. Justine always had ideas and suggestions but was also totally open to incorporating vendors we found into the day. Justine is professional, kind, passionate about her work, highly organised, easy to communicate with and a strong high quality wedding planner. When we finally met in person on the rehearsal day, I felt like we had been friends for years. She gave clear and direct instruction to the entire wedding party about how the ceremony would run and timeline for the day including guidance on what drinks to (or to not) have in the getting ready spaces. On the day of our wedding, her energy was calm, her plan clear and efficient and her guidance through the day was absolutely incredible. Finding the perfect wedding coordinator for a destination wedding was a bit stressful. I emailed 7 coordinators and spoke to 4 of them before finding Justine. She is everything you would want in a coordinator! She’s insanely organized and understood my vision for our wedding just based on limited conversations, emails of my random thoughts, and my pinterest. Also, our wedding was partly DIY, so I had to ship a bunch of stuff to Justine a month before the wedding for her to bring and set-up on the day-of. She understood exactly where everything should go (like the wooden signs, table decorations, etc.). It was amazing to have someone as organized and detail-oriented as Justine. Anytime I would email her a new idea about the decorations or layout, she would respond instantly and with some helpful additional ideas/comments.
What I especially loved about her was her knowledge of our venue. She’s coordinated tons of weddings at Moli’i Gardens Kualoa Ranch, so she understood what we needed in terms of rental equipment and where everything should be set-up/arranged. I would highly recommend Justine! -

The Best Ever!
You know it was an awesome event when your family and friends keep telling you that the ‘wedding was perfect’! My secret weapon: Luana Events and Justine Miller! Seriously, I knew Justine was amazing during our planning but she continued to prove it right up until the last minute!!! Planning a wedding from Pennsylvania is such a daunting task and when you’re a perfectionist like myself it’s even more of an insane undertaking. Justine was not only my eyes and ears on the ground but my lifesaver! There are so many things you don’t even think about when starting to plan a wedding (like where will the ice come from? When will the cake be delivered so it doesn't melt in the Hawaii sun?) amongst all the things that you do plan. She was there to help through ever question I had and thoughts I didn’t even know to consider!
She is the most calming personality I’ve ever met! Let me tell you, when our flower girl was having a meltdown behind the scenes right as it’s about to be her moment to walk down the aisle, Justine simply takes her in her arms, talks to her in the most. calming. voice, and manages to get her not only to walk down the aisle but to throw flowers out perfectly with a smile on her face!! And this is just one small example of all the little things she did for us!
I literally can not say enough positive things about her and all the staff she brings around. Best decision we made for our big day was hiring Justine and Luana Events! -
