My husband Jon and I just got married this past September, and we chose Louise as our event planner. As a former event planner myself, I know the sign of a truly phenomenal planner is when things inevitably go wrong during any event, the planner handles it behind the scenes and the client is never made aware of it. That's what happened in this case. I truly felt like I was able to enjoy every single second of my wedding from start to finish. Another huge thing I noticed was that Louise and her team anticipated problems before they even happened on the event day, and those are the people you want in your corner on your special day. For example, they gave me lotion for my hands right before I walked down the aisle so that when my husnbad put my ring on my finger, it easily slipped on. Just thoughtful moments and attention to detail like that truly set Louise and her team apart. They really did such a great job at helping us plan a destination wedding, and provided great vendor recommendations and resources along the way whenever we hit an obstacle in the planning process. Not just that, but Louise and her team have just been an absolute joy to work with and they were such an integral part of such a big moment in our lives. For that, I am truly grateful. I have a super type A personality type, and so I had high expectations for the wedding, which Louise and her team exceeded with ease. To this day, I have guests from the wedding tell me that our wedding was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. :) Thanks again for everything LLW, we appreciate you more than you'll ever know! -

My husband and I recently had the most breathtaking, joy-filled dream wedding at Paliku Gardens—made possible entirely by Louise and her phenomenal team at LLW. We chose the “maid of honor for hire” package, and let me tell you: WORTH EVERY PENNY!
Initially, we didn’t think we needed a planner. My husband grew up on Oahu (we currently live on the main land) and still has family on the island, so we assumed local familiarity would be enough. Spoiler: it wasn’t. Paliku Gardens, while stunning, provides little beyond tables and chairs and requires a day-of coordinator. Also, there were so many vendors we’d need to coordinate with and items we’d need to rent. It suddenly dawned on us how much risk was involved in planning an event for over a 100 people in a state that we didn’t live in thousands of miles away. Before long, we were buried in logistics—hotel blocks, welcome party venues, vendors, design decisions—the works.
Thus, we decided we needed help. We interviewed several planners, all impressive, but Louise stood out immediately. From our first consultation, she was refreshingly honest about costs and completely transparent in her guidance. She wasn’t afraid to challenge our ideas when she felt we’d benefit from a different approach, and that level of candor made us trust her instantly. We booked LLW in January 2024 for our June 2025 wedding, and from day one, she led the way. Our initial meeting was incredibly thorough, with a planning timeline and actionable next steps. From there, we met over Zoom throughout the year and collaborated asynchronously in between. Louise was always responsive, thoughtful, and clear—often replying with video messages to walk us through options. What truly surprised us was how personally involved she remained. As LLW’s owner, we assumed she might eventually pass things off—but nope. She joined every Zoom meeting, answered every email, and showed up in ways we didn’t expect but fully appreciated.
The “maid of honor for hire” package places design decisions in the couple’s hands which can feel daunting, but we never felt alone. Our vision shifted dozens of times. We started with white and green florals, a neutral palette, and no wedding party. But thanks to LLW’s encouragement and calm expertise, we embraced a totally different vibe: multicolored pastel florals, 20 mix-and-match-clad wedding party members, and a deeply personal celebration. I honestly never imagined arriving at the wedding we had—and I’m so glad we did. We relied a lot on LLW’s blog series, which became a quiet source of confidence for us. Each post tackled wedding components—from florals to attire to ceremony structure—but what really stuck with us was her parting advice in each blog: “do what feels like you.” Those posts gave us the knowledge to make informed decisions, but also the courage to trust ourselves.
We also hired LLW for our florals, which were beyond anything we could’ve dreamed. Pinterest didn’t quite capture our taste, so we pieced together inspiration boards—and Louise and her team translated it flawlessly. They gave us mockups for every arrangement, which eased our nerves, and the final result was pure magic. We were anxious about leaning into color, but LLW reassured us every step of the way. The florals felt like art.
Through every change in mood board, guest list, and timeline, LLW never made us feel like we were “too much.” Instead, they embraced our uncertainty, helped us find clarity, and always made space for our evolving vision.
Let’s be real though—the hardest part about planning a wedding isn’t actually the planning. It’s the rough emotional terrain and managing insecurities. It’s wanting everything to be perfect while trying to make space for everyone’s needs. What we appreciated most was Louise’s unwavering support through it all. Over the 1.5 years of working together, she helped us navigate countless decisions with empathy, clarity, and kindness. She even weighed in on outfit choices multiple times—and always with patience. No matter how scattered we felt, we left every meeting feeling calmer, grounded, and reassured.
And on the big day? LLW was everywhere and everything. Louise arrived at our hotel early to drop off flowers for detail shots, took extra items to the venue, and checked in with our contacts to keep everything humming. When we saw rain in Waikiki and texted her in a panic, she replied immediately: “Don’t worry, it’s perfect at Paliku Gardens.” And it was. At the venue, Louise welcomed us with warmth. Kayla helped me into my dress, styled my veil, bustled my dress with care, and adjusted every detail throughout the day for photos. Louise even styled florals into my hair when our stylist forgot—and she nailed it. With 10 bridesmaids, I never had to ask anyone for help because LLW handled it all. The flow of the event felt effortless.
Even though we made many of the design decisions in the wedding, LLW elevated everything with thoughtful styling touches, extra florals beyond our contract, and meaningful details—like busting out our flower girl’s bubble gun for our first dance to make it look extra magical. At the end of the night, Louise had our family member’s car packed with everything we needed. She handed out vendor tips. A team member passed out spam musubis and waters to guests boarding the shuttle. It was seamless. We went straight to our karaoke afterparty without a single concern in mind.
So if you want a wedding that feels authentically yours, LLW is the team. They don’t replicate Pinterest trends—they listen and build a celebration that reflects you.
We had so many friends tell us it was the most beautiful and breathtaking wedding they’d ever attended—that it felt like *us* in every detail, and that it was an unforgettable experience for everyone we love.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting with Louise for a consultation and budget breakdown. While we can’t afford to work with her this time around (which is honestly heartbreaking), the consultation itself was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we connected, Louise made both my fiancé and I feel like we were her top priority. The consultation was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional.
What really impressed me was how she took the time to listen to my ideas, my priorities, and even my concerns. She made everything feel possible, offering thoughtful and creative suggestions that made me feel like my dream wedding was within reach! Every question we had was answered thoroughly, and by the end of the call, we had a clear understanding of what the planning process would look like with Louise at the helm.

Absolute perfection!
From a type A, detailed oriented, perfectionist…. There is absolutely no one better on this island to plan a wedding than Louise and her team. From the very first meeting to waking up the morning after, it was seamless. She truly is perfection. She listens, directs, takes care of you. She becomes a friend. Her organization is next level and that says a lot coming from me. Everything leading up to the big day was put at ease due to the entire team. The day is something out of a fairytale. We truly felt like we were celebrities that day. We were catered to in a way that I never thought was possible. Blotting papers on hand, sand wiped off our feet, cocktails and food delivered to us constantly, photos, videos, hair fixes… you name it. Flowers in our bouquet replaced and fixed. All while smiling, hyping us up and telling us how beautiful we look. If you are looking for a wedding planner, please don’t look any further. I miss talking to Louise, that’s how special she is. Best of the Best!
Our journey began at Kualoa Ranch, where we first explored their recommended wedding planners. Love Letter Weddings immediately stood out to me. The website was incredibly detailed (just my style!) and user-friendly, and the stunning visuals convinced us that this team was perfect for planning our wedding.
After reaching out, we quickly arranged a Zoom meeting with Louise. Her calm, friendly demeanor and warm smile left a lasting impression on us. We knew right away she was the right fit. She listened attentively as I shared my detailed ideas and my wife’s additional visions for the planning. From the very beginning, we felt completely at ease and confidently booked our two-year planning journey with Louise and her floral team.

The BEST wedding planner ever!
When we first decided on a destination wedding in Hawaii, Louise was the first wedding planner we interviewed. As soon as we met on zoom, we were very drawn to her calm, collected, and detail oriented personality. Once we got started with the planning process, she never failed to disappoint. She always had the quickest response times, helped us select wonderful vendors, and most importantly brought our wedding design and vision to life! No matter what obstacles or changes we encountered, Louise always had a solution for everything. She even helped repair one of our pillow cushions for our welcome party which was an event she wasn’t even planning for us! She truly cares deeply for her clients and you can see the strong passion she has for planning weddings. Thank you Louise + the LLW team for making our dream wedding come true! :) -

Love Letter Weddings review:
My husband and I just recently married at Aulani in Hawai’i with Love Letter as our floral vendor. The process was fairly straightforward and easy. After we selected Love Letter as our vendor, we were immediately connected with Makana. We were asked to fill out a questionnaire that would give Love Letter an idea of what our price range was and what we were looking for.
After we submitted the form, Makana and the team provided us with a very helpful visual guide proposal with multiple price options so we had a general idea of what we wanted, colors, and types of flowers. We then had a zoom call with Makana and they walked us through more of the proposal and to answer any questions we had.
We ended up going with local, tropical florals with a lot of greenery: Lei’s for ourselves and our wedding party, flower crowns for the flower girls, a beautiful floral arrangement for the alter, petals in the aisle way with the mickey mouse design, bud vases for the cocktail hour, a lovely flower arrangement for our memorial table, and the most amazing floral arrangements for our ballroom. Makana provided their expertise as well of staggering tall and short arrangements on the various tables to give it dimension vs. everything looking really flat. They also offered us some additional options such as repurposing the floral on the alter for various other decorations, including our sweethearts table.
Many of our guests were awestruck with how amazing all the floral arrangements turned out and they looked amazing in our photos. We also loved the additional Disney magic of including some hidden mickeys into the floral arrangements. Day of the wedding, we were able to catch Makana and their team setting up the floral arrangements as we checked in the morning. Makana also coordinated directly with our Disney wedding lead and delivered our beautiful leis so we could wear them for our family photos.
We love all the hard work and detail that Makana and the Love Letter team did for our wedding and it really put the extra aloha look and feel to our big day. Mahalo to Makana and the Love Letter team!

LLW was the first decision I made in our wedding planning process and it was hands down the best one! The "maid of honor for hire" package could not be more appropriately named because working with Louise and her team is like working with a bunch of your sisters who have wedding planning expertise. Louise has priceless knowledge of wedding vendors and industry standards in Hawaii and marries that perfectly with your vision to make your day everything you could have imagined. I repeat – she is a wealth of information!! Her planning software, budgeting and milestones helped me to stay the course in my planning process without feeling overwhelmed. She made herself available ANYTIME I had questions and I genuinely looked forward to our calls because they were so fun. Louise is honest and direct – which is EXACTLY what you need when planning your wedding – while also being supportive, compassionate and encouraging. I was living in the mainland while planning my wedding so Louise had us ship all of our décor directly to her office where she stored and inventoried it and then transported everything to the venue the day of so we didn’t have to worry once we were on island. On our wedding day she was that constant voice of encouragement anytime I looked over my shoulder and needless to say, the day went off without a hitch. She and her team are the consummate professionals and I was truly in awe to see an elevated version of my vision come to life. LLW also did our florals for the day and, as you can see from the pictures, they were STUNNING. Louise & LLW are truly the best in the game and I can wholeheartedly say my wedding planning experience and wedding day would not have been the same without them. Book them first and don’t look back!! -

Worth every penny
Best freakin wedding team ever! Louise is the best wedding planner and I highly recommend any bride to hire her and her team’s services!!! She made our lives so much easier and worth every penny. We opted for the Maid of Honor service and you still get amazing support from Louise with this package. We also added florals to keep it all with one vendor which was also a great decision and Louise has impeccable taste.
We were one of the first couples affected by covid and Louise and her team were there for us every step of the way. 18 months later, the day came together like a dream and we couldn’t have done it without the team from LLW. We also used their floral services and I stupidly forgot my bouquet at the hotel and Louise was able to whip one up for me before walking down the aisle. -

Love Letter Weddings is hands down the best money spent and best vendor decision we made for our big day. We could not recommend Louise, her exceptional service and team more.
My now husband and I are based in Los Angeles, but picked Hawaii as our destination given I'm from New Zealand and he's from New York. We were initially flying pretty blind, and our venue of choice required an approved planner to coordinate on our behalf. After some extensive social media and internet research, we thought Louise might be a fit right away and it turns out she was indeed a perfect match just minutes into our first consultation.
We opted for the Maid of Honor package, which meant LLW provided a list of recommended vendors for us to choose from, a full online planning service (Aisle Planner) with a budget Louise's team put together. Louise was also fully contactable to us throughout for any and all questions. She gave amazing advice, provided key milestones and deadlines to keep us on track, then one month out from the wedding, we had an extensive handover meeting and LLW took it over from there.
To say our minds were blown at LLW's expertise, professionalism and attention to detail is an understatement. We literally could not have pulled off our dream wedding without Louise and her team. Leading into the wedding, they were amazing at ticking off the things we hadn't thought of, picking up our master timeline, locking in call times and all details with vendors and pulling together those final touches. They made it all feel so simple, when we knew that wasn't the case.
The day of the wedding, our guests were in awe at the team around us. When a LLW team member walked my father and I to the top of the aisle, they even offered us breath mints, and me Vaseline for my ring finger. They didn't miss a beat - they set up our decor, tent, table settings, flowers and ceremony just as we envisioned and made it all perfect down to the last detail. They were always in the right spot to cue the key beats of the night; ensure speakers had champagne for toasts; brought my husband and I food/cocktails during our photos; set up favors and dessert and had everything run flawlessly and according to plan. At the end of the night, Louise even had our leftover alcohol, gifts, bouquets and signs packed away on the bus before we even got on board. She was also able to hook up my dress train in about 10 seconds after several minutes of the bridesmaids struggling!
We feel so fortunate to have met and shared our experience with Louise and quite honestly - we miss our regular Zooms with her! This is one of the most hard-working, organized, personable and dream teams you could ever met. So many of our guests have told us this is one of the best weddings they've ever been to. We of course had our vision in mind, but there's no way it would've been half the success it was without Louise and her team. Thank you so much Love Letter Weddings and truly - look no further than them if you are planning a destination wedding. -

I 100% recommend Love Letter Weddings to anyone getting married on Oahu - we absolutely love Louise and her wonderful team. To anyone starting the wedding planning process - passing along this key advice: a fabulous coordinator/planner is KEY & absolutely worth the investment.
I could write a novel describing all the ways they ensured we had our dream wedding and truly went ABOVE AND BEYOND so many times. I'll keep it to just 5 reasons we were so happy with LLW (I could write 100).
1. Why we picked LLW: It was an extensive process - I received a list from a friend who is involved in the Oahu wedding scene of the coordinators/planners he felt were best/had 0 red flags. I researched them all and chatted with ~5 who were all excellent. I was down to LLW and another planner, so let my husband choose between the two and he knew immediately after meeting via Zoom that LLW was for us based on Louise's vibe, availability throughout the process, and tech-savvy-ness. I grew up in Hawaii, but we planned our wedding from the east coast and felt Louise and LLW bridged the destination and local wedding chasm effortlessly. Also, Louise is NOT PUSHY AT ALL in terms of trying to upsell you on packages or anything. She portrays a sincere desire to give you what you need/want in terms of help - something I greatly appreciated. :)
2. Truly professional and prompt: Louise responds promptly to emails and if she is going to take a while due to weddings or vacations, she lets you know so you are never left hanging. This was a huge deal to us! My husband (tech) and me (medicine) wish we had the email etiquette Louise and her team have in our own work they are so good.
3. Maid of Honor for Hire Package: I chose this package because I was genuinely excited to plan our wedding and in discussion with Louise felt this was the right one for me. Compared to other "partial planning/coordination" packages, I felt that Louise's offered the most flexibility and availability to ask questions and consult about various parts of the planning process. It was perfect for me and could not recommend it more!
4. Above and Beyond: A couple of snafus happened during the process that Louise handled and helped us through like a champ. First, while visiting the office early on, my car got towed - and LOUISE DROVE MY MOM AND ME TO THE TOW YARD. Second, when my welcome wedding sign did not arrive from Etsy on time, LLW made us a gorgeous one for our wedding (see photos). Third, I folded 1000 cranes and wanted them behind us - they were a tangled mess, but they made it look amazing. Lastly, my mom was eager to help and be involved, which was great but sometimes stressful - Louise also was so kind to my mom who asked a million questions and even helped me suggest ways to help reduce the stress around my mom trying to take over the wedding planning. :) My family called Louise was an angel for this wedding planner superpower!
5. Our Perfect/Dream Wedding: The most important thing! Our wedding was truly perfect! We were so happy. Everything came out the way we wanted and the day was so fun and stress-free. Louise and her team made our vision come true and our guests had an amazing time - some said it was the most beautiful wedding they've ever been to - which I attribute to Louise and the LLW team.
Clearly based on the length of this review, we were absolutely thrilled with LLW. Trust your wedding to Louise and the LLW team - you will be so glad you did.

Louise and team were absolutely incredible. I live on the mainland (east coast) and have never been to Oahu so I had to place all my trust in her when it came to venue, vendors, etc. i can be very particular but She executed my vision above and beyond what I could have expected and there were zero hiccups!
Louise not only coordinates the logistics seamlessly, but delivers a design/aesthetic that no one can explain. Many of our guests agreed stating it was the most beautiful wedding they've ever attended. 10000% could not recommend more! -

Our experience with Love Letter Wedding Floral was nothing short of AMAZING!! What immediately caught our attention was just how responsive Louise and Jayna were. With all the pressures and stress of wedding planning, responsiveness was key. Both Louise and Jayna were extremely professional and really understood our vision. They were real with us (when we had lofty floral design dreams) and collaborated with us on what turned out to be a beautiful design that still worked within our budget. We couldn’t be happier with how our florals came out. It was their friendliness and beautiful work that truly helped to ease the anxiety of our COVID wedding. It is difficult to put into words how incredible our experience was with Louise and her team at Love Letter Weddings and Love Letter Weddings Floral. I think it is best to start from the beginning- My now husband and I got engaged in February 2020 and almost immediately started planning for our dream wedding. We knew we wanted a destination wedding on Oahu and began looking for a wedding coordinator. We had no idea what we were looking for but started a basic search that led us to several day-of coordinators. We quickly changed our search, because being so far away we decided it was best to have a more all-encompassing coordinator who could help us with vendors, design, logistics, budgeting, etc. We came across Love Letter Weddings and saw their “full-shebang service”, and although Louise offers a variety of services, we knew this was going to be it for us. I had already started a wedding Pinterest board and noticed that a lot of my pins happened to be from weddings designed by Louise. It was meant to be!
As you would expect by our engagement date, our wedding planning quickly hit a standstill because of Covid. We had to decide quickly on how we would proceed. Although there were many unknowns we decided to move forward, and I have to say Louise was a big part of the reason we decided to continue. Wedding planning ended up being a welcome distraction and our regular Skype/Zoom meetings with Louise and Jayna were honestly highlights during a difficult time.
Louise is very personable, and I feel like she can easily adapt and work with a variety of clients. My husband and I were pretty involved throughout the entire process, but I know she has had several clients that were more hands-off and has even surprised a bride and groom by selecting their venue for them. She was truly my dream coordinator too in terms of design and FLOWERS! Louise is not afraid of color, and although I’ve seen truly beautiful neutral weddings she’s designed, she helped us steer clear of the muted and moody feel. She also helped us create a design that was unique to us. It was bright, happy, tropical, and incorporated touches of my husband’s Mexican heritage beautifully.
For those of you that enjoy planning and marking things off your checklist like I do, Louise is definitely for you! My husband says his favorite part of planning was checking off items on Aisle Planner (the planning platform Louise uses) and seeing our percentage complete go up. You could tell how much knowledge and experience Louise has by her detailed lists and blog posts. You never have to question what to do or how to do something, she had everything listed for you down to what essentials to pack for your wedding. Her blog posts were also very helpful. I particularly liked her invitation and wedding site tips, along with interview questions for DJs/MCs, photographers, stylists, etc. Louise removed so much of the logistics and budgeting stress, which we really appreciated since at the time there was so much stress caused by Covid uncertainties. She helped us come up with hotel options for our guests when most hotels were closed and always gave us options that fit within budget. She is also without a doubt one of the most responsive people I have ever come across! Whenever we emailed or texted her a question, we would get an almost immediate response.
Because of Covid, our wedding day was a little different. We were very lucky in that a month before our wedding, outdoor weddings were permitted on Oahu, but Louise made sure our wedding was in compliance with the County’s guidelines- all of our guests were tested before they arrived, we provided all required information for contact tracing, all guests were temperature screened upon arrival, a limited amount of guests were seated at each table, and Louise’s boyfriend even made monstera leaf stickers that were stuck to the dance floor to allow for social distancing. Our goal was to make sure all our guests were comfortable and felt welcomed, and we really feel like that was achieved.
Although I do not have experience with any other wedding coordinators, I would say what sets Louise apart was that I felt like I had a real friend throughout the planning process. Whenever we were stressed about something she would help us get back on track and feel good about it. She is a great listener and always put a smile on our faces during our meetings. Most importantly, we had complete trust in her abilities and were able to completely relax on our wedding day and be 100% present in the moment. I don’t think we will ever stop hearing from our family and friends that our wedding was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever been to and that is mostly thanks to Louise. I would recommend that anyone getting married on Oahu get her as their coordinator and I am even actively trying to get my siblings to use her as well!

Louise was our wedding guardian angel. When I contacted her to help with day-of coordination, roughly four months before our wedding date, we had no idea what our wedding could look like under the applicable Covid-related restrictions and orders. Even with this great amount of uncertainty, Louise jumped at the chance to help. From the moment we met, I felt like we were meant to work together. I consider myself an organized person, but Louise’s planning skills and attention to detail impressed me to no end. Louise and her team were so knowledgeable, organized, and flexible that they could seamlessly work around any issues and iron out any and all details, even during the most stressful weeks leading up to the wedding when we had to react to constantly evolving Covid rules. Louise has checklists for every part of the planning process, which meant that every single detail had been considered and planned in advance. She also contacted all of my vendors to share timelines, finalize invoices, and discuss specific and novel issues relating to the applicable pandemic safety measures. Louise also arranged (virtual) meetings with us and our emcee and officiant prior to the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page about the wedding and reception programs, and had great ideas for how the emcee and officiant could encourage guests to enjoy themselves but remain respectful of the Covid measures.
On the day of our wedding, her calmness and composure were infectious, and my fiance and I felt completely relaxed and at peace throughout the whole day. On the few occasions where I checked on the status of something, Louise was already two steps ahead of me and had it all taken care of! The day after our wedding, we decided that everything had gone perfectly from our perspective, which just goes to show what an excellent job Louise and her team did. What could have easily been a very stressful day due to the pandemic turned out to be the best day of our lives! Finally, we also hired Love Letter Weddings to provide florals for our wedding, and could not have been happier with the beautiful arrangements she put together, at a very competitive price. I will be recommending Love Letter Weddings, and Love Letter Wedding Florals, to friends and family! -

Louise came highly recommended and advertised her full services as having your best friend on site doing everything. She did so much more, unless your best friend can be in more than one place at a time, has goodwill with every other vendor and can plan contingencies and backup plans after that.
She has a way of planning a feel for a wedding that goes beyond words, she uses pictures, storyboards and feelings to try to interpret grunts, eyebrow raises and head scratches to come up with a dream wedding executed beyond our dreams.
We planned our wedding with on-line calls, reminder to-do lists and pre-wedding visits to Hawaii, not because we had to to, but because it was kind of fun watching it come together. I’m not even sure that the bride and groom were totally on the same page until it all fell into place, but of course Louise must have seen it as it didn’t happen by accident.
Only regret was that the day went by far too quickly. It was so fun and we were in such good care from Louise and all our vendors who were shortlisted or vetted by her. -

If you're reading this and considering hiring a planner or florist on Oahu; stop what you are doing (exit this browser) and hire Love Letter Weddings NOW. We hired Love Letter Weddings for both the full planning, and for florals! I interviewed five planners on the island, but I knew instantly when I Skyped with Louise and Jenn that LLW is it. Our wedding had many moving parts, technical difficulties, venue logistics, and on top of everything we were not an easy client (I'll spare you the details but think groomzilla and bridezilla) At times I feel like anyone else would have lost their patience with us but not LLW. Louise and Jenn kept it together and were absolutely a pleasure to work with from day one, to Wedding Day. My flowers were a dream come true, my wedding was pure magic. Also, LLW uses a software called Isle Planner, I cannot stress to you how helpful, and crucial to our sanity this tool was. Of everything I invested in for this wedding the most important and best decision I could have made was to hire Louise! She made every step through this whole process so easy for me, especially since I don’t live in Hawaii anymore, so this was really a destination wedding for me.
Louise was so extremely thoughtful, organized, and above all patient with me. She helped me to figure out my budget and priorities for how I wanted my wedding to look and feel. Her wealth of knowledge and access to vendors was without a doubt one of the most important advantages of hiring a wedding planner at all. She also did the florals for my wedding which made it that much easier and one less vendor I had to rely on.
Another extremely important factor was her responsiveness! If you are in the midst of planning a wedding you know how stressful the whole process can be, and Louise was readily available at all times. She was quick to respond and always had the right answer. I couldn’t have asked for more and my wedding was everything I had hoped it would be and more!

Kirsten Sent on 05/22/2018We Hired Louise for Consulting/ Month of Coordination. My mom and I flew to Hawaii to look at venues last September. Every venue we went to, people kept mentioning Louise. We didn't have a wedding planner, and honestly we thought we could do it ourselves. (hahaha don't try and do it yourself). So the day before we left for the mainland, we decided to reach out and see if she could meet us for coffee while we were in town. Louise is one of those people that you immediately love. My mom and I walked out of the cafe, and booked her. For the next eight months, Louise took our calls, answered our texts, and emails promptly. She eased the nerves of a MOB, and made myself (the bride) feel confident that she would produce our dream day. And let me tell you..she produced our dream day. The day of our wedding rehearsal, the venue was filming a movie. The venue I had chosen was dirty, wet, and a mess. As a bride, I was freaking out, and looking over at Louise (who was calm, cool, and collected) brought me ease. We continued to run through the rehearsal, and an option to move the venue was presented. Upon seeing the new venue, and deciding to change it to the new location, was a little scary the day before your wedding day. But let me tell you, it was meant to be. I remember looking at Louise, giving her the "yes" to move my wedding. She looked at me without a hint of hesitation and told us she would wow us. Let me just say, SHE FLOORED US. Our wedding was my DREAM. Louise is a GOD-SEND. I had an idea of what I wanted, and yes she brought all those aspects and ideas into it, but she also brought her own ideas, and everything was PERFECT. INCREDIBLY PERFECT. I cried getting out of the van with my girls arriving at the venue, it was that beautiful! If you want someone trust worthy, organized, kind-hearted, creative, truly passionate about what she does, Louise is your lady. Your wedding will be everything you want, and more. Much More. Resham Sent on 03/29/2018We are so glad we decided to work with Louise and Love Letter Weddings! We got engaged in July 2017 and decided that we would get married in December, which was a pretty quick turnaround time. I was worried that we wouldn't be able to pull off a wedding in five short months, but Louise made the process stress-free and fun.
Louise came highly recommended by a couple of my classmates whose weddings/surprise engagements she planned, so we knew we were in good hands from the start. This was confirmed when we visited venues and all the coordinators told us how lucky we were to be working with her! Louise responded to my initial phone call right away and found time for us to meet just a couple of days later. Her responsiveness continued throughout the planning process, which was really important since we were planning the wedding from LA. I had never really thought about what I wanted my wedding to look like, so I didn't have a Pinterest board or much of anything for Louise to work with initially, and she was so patient as we worked through vision boards, florals, the bar - every last detail, and all over the phone or on Skype. She was super straightforward about vendors, kept us within our budget (largely by being really creative and making a bunch of our decorations herself!), and was calm, cool, and collected on wedding day, which helped everyone else feel at ease.
In the end, Louise designed a wedding that was a perfect reflection of our cultures and personalities, and everything on the day of was seamless. We honestly didn't stress about the wedding at all, and we have Louise to thank for that! Our guests are still talking about what a beautiful experience it was and how "us" it felt, and we couldn't be happier.

Hanne Sent on 03/21/2018I got married on the North Shore of Oahu in early March of 2018 and hired Louise of Love Letter Weddings for the Maid of Honor Package. From the first phone call I had with Louise, I knew I was in trustworthy and capable hands. Louise’s ability to pay such close attention to detail while still seeing the big picture is a talent that only the best wedding/event coordinators possess.
Louise is not only an extremely organized and responsive coordinator, she is also a very talented and creative event and floral designer. This was really important to me and I was thrilled and grateful to have her help design our ceremony, sweetheart table, lounge and all of our floral arrangements, in addition to having her coordinate everything on the day of the wedding. The floral arrangements were absolutely gorgeous and even though most of our guests were from out of town, all of the centerpieces were taken home at the end of the night! They were just that irresistibly beautiful!
I was completely stress-free on our wedding day because I knew Louise and her team were handling everything. She was available when needed but was also able to keep things moving behind the scenes so I didn't have to worry at all. Love Letter Weddings truly go the extra mile to make you feel special and taken care of on your wedding day and I would highly recommend them! -

To say that we could not have had our wedding without Louise is an understatement. Louise not only helped us to craft a vision of our wedding day when we began without an inkling of an idea, introduced us to the best wedding vendors of all time, stayed within our budget, AND created an ombre petal aisle that our friends and family STILL talk about - I believe she actually willed the clouds to part an hour before our ceremony on a day that had been thundering and pouring since morning.
