Alexa is a brilliant and devoted wedding planner. My now husband and I moved to Tampa shortly after getting engaged and did not know anyone. A few minutes into my wedding planner search. I came across Alexa's instagram page. I messaged her, and, even on vacation, she responded within the hour. From our first phone conversation, I knew she was the one. Alexa is warm, professional, honest, responsible, and savvy. She was empathetic to our every wish, while being realistic and candid about the feasibility of them. And... patient when we changed our minds. Many, many times! We shared our vision, and she brought it to life. She took the time to get to know us as a individuals and as a couple and created our own little "Carlos & Caity" land, complete with both traditional appeal and trendsetting touches like our boho floral swings and our naked cake. She even travelled to Mexico with us for our venue visit + vendor meetings! Even there, she spent her free time working! She loves what she does and it shows... in all of her work. Our wedding was breathtakingly beautiful, stylish, delicious, elegant and fun. Plus, vividly unique and wildly memorable. We received a sea of compliments from our guests on the day of the wedding, many of whom said it was by far the best wedding they had ever attended, and I agree. If you want to see your dream wedding come to fruition and feel special, relaxed and cared for throughout the entire wedding planning process, hire Alexa. -

Professional, caring, well-connected, a joy of a human to work with. These are some of the words that come to mind when I think of Alexa Kritis. We first spoke with Alexa in February 2020 to plan for our original wedding date. From the first meeting, her organization and demeanor impressed us and we signed the contract immediately. Suddenly, the world goes into lockdown and we say goodbye to our original plans and reschedule our wedding to nearly two years later: January 2022. We kept our contract with Alexa, of course, because this is the woman you want in your corner when there is a global pandemic and everything you know melts into chaos. She remained flexible as our attentions switched to our roles in medicine. And when it came closer to the time to start planning anew, she jumped right back into the big picture visions and the nitty-gritty details. When our anxieties and the volatility of the guestlist with each swing of the newscast started mounting, Alexa was there to address each concern backed by her years of expertise planning weddings and large events.
Thank you so much Alexa. Thank you for your wonderful recommendations for vendors, for going to bat when our venue attempted to cancel our wedding less than 2 months prior, and for being a truly wonderful person to know and work with! It had been at least 15 years since either of us had gone to a wedding and here we were, planning the first LGBTQ wedding in both of our families!! We could never have hosted such a beautiful, fun, and seamless night for our loved ones without you. We wish you the absolute best and to anyone reading this - yes, Alexa Kritis should absolutely be your planner. -

Pulling off a large surprise party with dozens of moving parts, vendors, and deliveries and keeping it secret (from your husband!) while living in another state would have been impossible without the INCREDIBLE Alexa Kritis!!
Many people think of only using an event coordinator for weddings, but hiring Alexa made planning this event FUN, not stressful. Her vast rolodex of amazing high-quality vendors will save you so much time and hassle rather than researching people on your own. Her vast expertise can help you decide what you really need (and don’t need) to make your event one to remember. She handled anything and everything day of, so literally all I had to do was get dressed and show up. The cost of her fee will pay for itself 10-fold in the amount of time, stress, and hassle you will save yourself.
I wanted my husband’s birthday party to be filled with memories we would never forget, and Alexa exceeded all our expectations and then some. I had many outside the box ideas and special requests and she handled them all with ease and made them come to life exactly how I pictured. I wanted a special dessert re-created; no problem, Alexa knows an amazing pastry chef. I wanted beer on tap, but the venue doesn’t have a setup for that; no problem, Alexa not only got the venue to allow it, but she also found a tap wall, managed all the details, and even picked up the kegs. I really wanted fireworks, and there was a last-minute hiccup; Alexa found a work around AND I didn’t even know about it until after the event. She even delivered multiple options for a last-minute request the week of the party. Alexa thinks of details that never even occurred to me, and just handles them. For example, we didn’t have a car to take gifts home, so Alexa delivered them HERSELF to our house the next morning!!
The party was so great, we had multiple groups of people try and crash (don’t worry Alexa stopped them)! So many of my guests congratulated me on pulling off such an amazing event, I felt a little guilty taking credit, because Alexa did all the heavy lifting. I can’t wait for an excuse to have another party, just so I can work with Alexa again. Bottom line, if you hire Alexa your event will be amazing, and planning it will be stress-free and effortless. -

Wedding wizards!
Wow. Words cannot express how on point this Alexa and her team are! We hired Alexa a few weeks out to solidify everything and coordinate day-of. She had a minute by minute timeline and helped me arrange all the moments for the big day. She is beyond detail-oriented!! The day of, Nisa and Briana were like ninjas! Logistics queen! From getting ready to the ceremony to the reception, they made sure everything and everyone were right where they were supposed to be at every moment. I didn’t have to think about anything! I would HIGHLY recommend this company! -

I met Alexa while she was planning another friends wedding. During my friends big day Alexa had everything under control and went above and beyond. On top of that she was as cool as a cucumber. We clicked immediately and when I tell you that she was THE FIRST call I made post-proposal I am not lying. From day one Alexa took the reigns on vendor negotiations and recommendations. I was never the girl that had imagined her wedding since she was little...so I had no real idea of what I wanted or how to get there. Alexa has great vision and was even better at communicating it. She gives her opinions and recommendations but isn't offended if you don't follow them. She handled my COVID bride meltdowns, was on top of all of our plans and back up plans and there wasn't a problem that she couldn't find an answer to. The number one piece of advice that she gave me was to not be so stuck in "my vision" that I don't explore things...she said "you never know what you might have not known you wanted until you see it" and those words of wisdom rang true throughout the planning process. She helped me plan my wedding from start to finish and it was beyond my wildest dreams. -

The Very Best Wedding Decision We Made
Review written by my husband (he’s just better articulating lol)
To help anyone reading this, let me first begin with a quick background about how Alexa became my wedding planner. My (now) wife and I were originally set to be married on March 21st of this year. As such, we had already hired all vendors in preparation for the big day. At that time, Alexa was not our wedding planner.
The week of our wedding, the COVID pandemic forced closures which required us to postpone until July 10th. I was notified by our venue directly and began to call vendors advising as such. With no experience working with a wedding planner before, or any of the other vendors for that matter, I was not sure who held what responsibilities in a situation like this which is why I took it on myself.
Now, I want to be very clear in making this next point – I do not believe the first wedding planner we hired was “bad”. It was a company that offered wedding planning among a suite of services which is, to my understanding, quite common. Not many were prepared for this situation and by no means would I have considered the reaction by most companies to align with normal course of business.
Still, after having to reach out and notify our first wedding planner of the cancellation and hearing the response that she “… was just about to call us”, we quickly realized the need for a more dedicated wedding planner who was above average. Someone whose sole focus was on wedding planning and nothing else. After speaking with a few professionals that had built rapport with us, our wedding DJ, Cory Barron and Co. (yes, I named him intentionally because of our outstanding experience with him too), simply suggested that we reach out to Alexa. He offered this suggestion having worked together at past weddings with Alexa and using her as his wedding planner for his own wedding.
After coming to a mutual agreement for the release of contractual obligations with our first wedding planner, and following conversations with a few other options, we spoke with Alexa. Given the need to have someone who I felt confident would handle anything that these uncertain times might throw her way, I did not hold back interrogating Alexa. Very professionally, she assured us that we could expect a much different experience than our first, so we decided to put our faith in her to deliver.
Today, there is no doubt in my mind that hiring Alexa was the wisest decision we made outside of getting married. We met with her and signed our agreement together at lunchtime. When I came home from work that day, 6 ish hours later, she had done SIGNIFICANTLY more work for us than our previous planner had completed in three months, and that is just the beginning…
She advised that, if it were my preference, she would take all the “extra work” in communication with vendors off my plate, instructing vendors to direct all correspondence through her and was the barrier in between. I’m pretty sure her exact words were “You don’t have to speak with anyone besides me until your wedding day, if that’s what you want”. Her planning was so detailed that it was broken down in five-minute increments with every bit of time on our wedding and rehearsal days accounted for. She was able to pull from vast experience and identify potential issues with alternatives so that we avoided them. I do not believe I once called, emailed, or texted her without immediate response. Multiple times, my wife or I would think of something and reach out to Alexa only to hear that she had already addressed it. Days before our wedding, we had an issue with our hired photographers and needed to find new photographers. Alexa was on it immediately, provided us with multiple options with comparable fees and arranged the meetings. This list could go on and on. It was like having a personal assistant at our disposal for anything wedding related. The stress that she took away was seemingly immeasurable and I the word “can’t” does not exist in this woman’s vocabulary.
Over time, I’ve learned there are levels with any profession. I have not spoken with every wedding planner out there and have only worked with two, but Alexa was flawless; you can’t beat flawless. Your wedding is going to be (hopefully) a once in a lifetime event and you only have one chance to do it correctly. Looking back on our wedding and everything associated with it, the best advice I would give someone is to take our experience with our ability to compare professionals and use it to your advantage by hiring Alexa first, before you do anything else. When I say first, I mean that exactly. Immediately after you get engaged, pick up your phone and call her.
The greatest truth here is that you don’t know what you don’t know. How can you plan for that? There will be things happen that are unexpected. You will have obstacles to overcome. You need someone in your corner who has weathered many storms, who knows how to prepare properly, who can identify the problem and solution as quickly as possible, someone with drive and passion to deliver the best results for clients no matter what. Alexa brings all that to the table as a master at her craft. -

What an amazing experience!
I liked Alexa from the very start. She is smart, organized, knowledgeable, and really genuine. We started out planning a wedding for 120 guests that was nearly set about 2 months prior to event, the came the COVID closures. It was a tough time on many levels and I was grateful for her support through the cancellations and even finding creative ways for me to use the deposits. The about 2 weeks prior to our original wedding date my husband and I decided to marry in a small ceremony. Alexa jumped back in and put together the most amazing night that I will never forget. Everything went smoothly and it was beautiful. From the ceremony flowers, masks and personalized hand sanitizer to the lights, water goblets, and DJ at our reception, just perfect. I can’t compliment Alexa enough. She was poised and had it through every twist and turn. My husband and I are so grateful to her and certainly recommend her services for any ceremony you have in mind. We will never forget our day or Alexa! -

Someone that will listen to your vision and plan a wedding that is a true embodiment of you as a couple, not try to fit you into a Pinterest mold
The one thing that all of our friends told us to do when we got engaged was to get a wedding planner. All of my bride friends planned their own wedding, were stressed out the entire time, and I wanted no part of that. My husband and I actually wanted to enjoy it! We met Alexa one day and I remember thinking - yea she can handle my family. Ever seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding? That's my life in a nutshell. My family is wild. We hired Alexa and she is worth every damn penny. We knew that if we wanted to enjoy our wedding, this was a non-negotiable. Alexa planned and executed a wedding for almost 200 people and the best part, every single person that attended our wedding said it was THE BEST wedding they have ever been to. We mixed cultures, music, traditions, started new traditions, and it was a night my husband and I will never forget. A night that would not have been possible without Alexa. All we remember from that day was how much love and laughter was shared. I don't remember any stress, just complete bliss, and happiness. Alexa is the best, I don't know what else to say about her. She is somebody I would actually enjoy talking to and hanging out with. Someone that will listen to your vision and plan a wedding that is a true embodiment of you as a couple, not try to fit you into a Pinterest mold. Someone who will call you out (I promise you need this too!) and bring you back down to earth. We are so thankful for Alexa! -

Brides and Grooms everywhere; If you are looking for some help planning your big day, or maybe just need someone to help on the day-of, Alexa is your girl!! She is the absolute best!
My husband and I attempted to plan our wedding ourselves, and as we approached the big day we realized that we needed someone to help us make sure that things ran smoothly on the day-of. I did my research, and Alexa came very highly recommended. I reached out to her to see if she was available, and she responded within five minutes- I knew I was working with a true professional. Her responsiveness continued all throughout our planning process, and she made it very clear that she was there for anything that we needed. She knows this business inside and out, and her knowledge was more helpful than I could've imagined. She even made herself available to attend a meeting with our caterer that I was unable to attend! She truly made the planning process so much more manageable and less stressful, my only regret is not hiring her sooner!!
On the day of the wedding, she took care of everything. She made sure the bridal party knew their roll and was there to answer any of their questions. She made sure that everything stayed on schedule. She made sure we ate!! We did not have to worry about a single thing. The evening went perfectly, and we are so grateful to Alexa for that!

Hire alexa
If you don’t already have a wedding planner or day of coordinator, you should hire one RIGHT NOW and that person should be Alexa. Alexa is the BEST thing I could have done for our wedding. First of all, she is the sweetest, most hard working person I have ever met. On our first call together, it was like we already knew each other. I hired Alexa as a day of coordinator, and she stepped in a month out from our wedding. She got right into things, going over every little detail with me and organizing it into Aisle Planner (best thing ever). She made our time line with every minute planned to a T, had vendor lists, emailed vendors, coordinator times with vendors, and did all the things us as brides don’t want to have to deal with as it gets closer to the big day. She even went back to my air bnb after rehearsal to grab something for the florist so I didn’t have to leave my friends and family. Whenever we ran into any problems, she had a solution RIGHT AWAY and honestly made me feel so at ease as the wedding approached. I knew she was taking care of everything and that was the best feeling.
On the wedding day, she made sure to came by the see me and was always so enthusiastic about the whole day.
As far as decor, we had boughten most of it and rented a few things. I put my trust in her to make everything look just as I imagined in my head and guess what, she is a decorating genius and IT TURNED OUT EVEN BETTER. She made the space look STUNNING, like out of a magazine.
She also made sure my husband and I actually got to eat at our wedding, so we are very thankful for that.
We couldn’t have done the day without her. Everyone was in awe of all that she did and we got so many compliments about the whole day. WE LOVE ALEXA!! -

We met Alexa a few steps into our wedding planning journey and she completely changed the game for us. We kept pushing back the idea of planning due to our busy schedules and little to no interest in designing/organizing a party of this size. We knew instantly from our very first meeting that Alexa was the one to hire due to her professionalism, knowledge within the field, and dedication to her craft. Alexa was extremely responsive and knew the answer, or found the answer, to every question we had. She found vendors that matched our personality and were just as enthusiastic about our special day as we were. She was extremely organized from start to finish which really aligns with my personality type! Every time a friend or family member asked, “How’s wedding planning going?”, I was always able to respond “Great, Alexa really takes care of everything!” Day of wedding, a nearby music festival would’ve potentially played loud music during my ceremony If it wasn’t for Alexa convincing them to hold off on their set for about 20 minutes. I have no idea what kind of party my husband and I would’ve planned if it weren’t for Alexa, we are so thankful for everything she did and continues to do! If you are serious about planning the wedding day of your dreams, Alexa is your girl. -

Alexa was amazing we had set our dates and wedding plans in Florida then abruptly moved to Georgia shortly there after.
While we were gone Alexa didn't miss a beat. Making sure we met our deadlines. Making sure we dotted all of our I's and crossed all of our T's in the most pleasurable way. With out Alexa I don't think we would have had a wedding at all. The ceremony was beautiful everything went as planned could not have asked for more THANK YOU x 1,000,000. -

Alexa is so talented!! She is very personable/professional and helped me so much through this whole planning process to make sure our day was perfect. Alexa Kritis of Long Aisle Events is quite simply, AMAZING! Never, ever would we have been able to pull off a 500+ guest wedding in three months time without her! From our first phone call, to our first face to face meeting, to the beautiful day of my only daughters wedding, Alexa was so professional yet so caring and every little detail was just as important to her as it was to me as MOB. Alexa and her team helped pull off the best party, which is all my husband and I wanted our wedding to be. Everyone raved about how the night flowed, the details of set-up, and how it was just an amazing night! (Top 5 weddings for some of our guests, ha!) If you're like me and not good with details, etiquette, and the things that come with a wedding, Alexa is YOUR GIRL! She knows it all, she won't steer you in the wrong direction and MOST importantly she reminds you it's YOUR DAY. Don't let what others think to dictate anything - it happens once and goes by SO FAST. We can't recommend her enough and fingers crossed we have another event in the future that requires her expertise. Cheers! -
