As the mother of the groom, I couldn’t have been more grateful for Kristen! She made my son and daughter-in-law’s wedding day absolutely wonderful. From the beginning to the final moments of the reception, Kristen was organized, professional, and truly a joy to work with.
She listened to my son and his fiancée’s wishes and brought their vision to life just how they wanted. The attention to detail was remarkable, and Kristen handled everything, big and small. On the wedding day, we were able to relax and simply enjoy the celebration, knowing everything was in excellent hands.
I highly recommend Kristen to any couple—and their families—looking for someone who can handle the stress of wedding planning with ease and ensure that the day is nothing short of perfect.

Kristen offered an absolutely amazing service, that I was able to fit into my wedding budget. She took so much stress off my shoulders by contacting all y vendors and coordinating everything about our wedding timeline, including seating arrangement and setting up table decor. I know forsure that I could NOT have made our wedding day go so smoothly without her. Kristen has great energy and she is so warm and supportive, I felt like all my choices and my ideas were heard and accomodated! I cannot recommend Kristen Caputo enough for wedding planning!! We booked her Wedding Coordination package, and she made the last two months of wedding planning and the day of an absolute breeze. The resources and expertise she provides are unmatched, she was perfectly organized and kind, kept on top of everything, and took the stress out of wedding planning. As my husband and I were talking about our wedding and having conversations with my family and friends, I am fully convinced it would not have been as perfect as it was without Kristen and her team!!
Here are just a few examples of how she went above and beyond when she started helping us with wedding planning and on the day of:
When she started helping us, she reached out to every single one of our wedding vendors to see what tasks we had left. Kristen kept an updated to do list of all the remaining tasks we had vendor-wise, and checked in to see if we needed help. It kept us on top of things as we were heading into the busiest part of wedding planning!
She was completely prepared at every meeting we had, both in our planning sessions and with meetings with vendors. She provided such amazing documentation that answered every question I had about wedding planning, and truly put my mind at ease about the big day.
We had a last minute update to how we were transporting our rentals at the end of the night. I underestimated just how much we were going to have to pack up and take home at the end of the night rentals-wise and wanted to see if the rental company could pick them up from the venue the next day. I sent Kristen an email asking her opinion, and she completely handled the communication with both our venue and the rental company to resolve the issue. It took such a weight off of my husband and I!! I was so stressed over this, and within two days, she took care of it!
We had some of our wedding florals at our rehearsal dinner and were wondering how/when we should transport them from our rehearsal dinner venue to the wedding venue. When talking with our florist, Kristen offered to pick them up the morning of the wedding from the rehearsal dinner venue and taking them to our wedding venue. Just another example of how she went above and beyond to take the stress off of my husband, family, and I!!
After the wedding, I found out that Kristen fixed one of my wedding guest's dresses after it tore before the wedding ceremony. Not only did she help resolve all of my worries and questions, she also helped make sure our guests had an amazing experience and were able to enjoy the wedding day activities!!
The best decision I made when wedding planning was having Kristen as my coordinator. Her and her team were incredibly professional, efficient, dedicated, and truly made wedding planning and our big day perfect. There were so many instances where she went above and beyond to help us!! Her advice is unmatched, she is truly a joy, and I am so so thankful for all the hard work she put into making our day perfect.

I had the pleasure of working with Kristen and her team recently and they were absolutely amazing during our wedding process! Kristen was professional, fun, detailed, and you can really tell she is experienced and loves what she does. She diligently communicated and collaborated with us and all the other vendors. Kristen provided great ideas, assisted with finding vendors, helped me navigate through my decision process, and even helped with decor set up and breakdown at the wedding. Every time we talked she made me feel less stressed about the planning process and I did not worry about a thing on our wedding day! She was truly instrumental in bringing my vision to life and I am so grateful she was our wedding planner and coordinator! Our wedding went so smoothly, even my family and friends raved about how great she was! Our day was so wonderful and something we will never forget. A huge portion of that was due to Kristen and her team. From the moment Kristen took us on as clients she was extrememly helpful and accessible. Kristen was very budget friendy for us and she provided us with so much knoweldge on anything we had questions about. We loved that we could mix and match services that best fit our needs, shes incredibly flexible. Kristen was always so friendly, fun, and professional. She made sure our special day went extremely smooth. We really enjoyed our day and honestly had no problems the entire day, we were very grateful we had her as our planner. We decided to hire Kristen for her full wedding planning services, as we reside in NYC but planned to have our wedding in Virginia Beach. We can truly say that Kristen’s services were invaluable from the very beginning of planning to wrapping up everything post-wedding. It simply would not have happened without her!
As a couple who did not already have a predetermined vision of our “dream wedding,” Kristen was essential with helping us pull together a design board to help hone in on our look and feel. From there, she curated a list of options for all the major vendors to help us easily review and determine who fit our style and would be best to work with. As we progressed with our planning, Kristen helped us keep on top of all the various vendor meetings, deadlines, and provided us with advice and recommendations along the way.
When we finally arrived at our wedding weekend, Kristen and her team were exactly who we wanted running the show in the background. She went above and beyond to handle all logistics across multiple events and venues to ensure everything went smoothly. If issues arose, they were often quickly handled and addressed without us even realizing it, which allowed us to be fully present on our big day. We would highly recommend Kristen to anyone who is looking for a wedding planner who not only goes above and beyond, but is also truly a pleasure to work with along the way. Wow! There truly aren’t enough words to describe how thankful we are to have had Kristen and her team coordinate our wedding a few weeks ago. From beginning to end she was available, always on time with meetings and added her own creative ideas/tips from her experience and genuine guidance. She was such a great help for myself, a DIY bride, be more organized and less stressed with the entire process. I can definitely say our wedding day would not have gone as smoothly or been more beautiful without Kristen and her team. I remember them being right there when I had a question or was simply just looking around taking everything in. Seeing her “thumbs up” from across the room made me smile and thank the universe that we chose her to be our coordinator. Kristen was so great!! We found her from the recommended list through our venue. We did the planning package where she started helping a few months before the wedding. When she started it was like a weight lifted off my shoulders! She reached out to vendors and answered all of my questions. She responded very quickly as well. She was honest about what works and what doesn't at weddings which helped us make decisions. There was a strong chance of rain on our wedding day and I really wanted to have our ceremony outside. Kristen made it happen and we had our rain plan ready to go if needed (it didn't rain, thank goodness). She and her team worked so hard wedding day and made everything beautiful. It was perfect! I gave her our decorations and described the look we wanted and she made it happen! I felt like I could trust her to make decisions on my behalf. I would definitely recommend Kristen and her team! Kristen was our “day of planner”. But I put that in quotation marks because she started 60 days out. She made sure we stayed on track with our planning, she had regular meetings leading up to the wedding, even attended the rehearsal the night before, and was one of, if not the most, important and helpful vendors on our wedding day. She and her team set up the cocktail hour and reception exactly how I imagined it! She made sure the whole day ran smoothly, from getting ready, to the ceremony at the church, to the reception. She cleaned up the entire reception space and packed everything up so carefully at the end of the night. She was so, so, so helpful and sweet!
We had so many guests comment on how wonderful everything looked and how smooth the events of the day ran. And this was all thanks to Kristen!!
My venue required me to have a wedding planner, but I am glad I was pushed to have one, because the day would not have gone anywhere near as well without her. And I am so glad I found Kristen. She listened to everything I wanted and made it all happen. And also, she knew things that needed to happen that I didn’t even know I needed. I cannot say enough great things about her! Best Wedding Planner Ever!!
Kristen and Matt were a dream to work with!!! We booked the day of coordinator and it was totally worth it! Our wedding went off without a hitch thanks to their immaculate attention to detail and event planning abilities. Leading up to the wedding we had a few phone calls with Kristen, and one in-person walkthrough of the venue. She’s so sweet and we can’t say enough good things about her! She asked questions about the wedding that we hadn’t even thought of and decorated the venue beautifully! We’ve had so many guests tell us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! Kristen was absolutely the best decision I made for my wedding! She was on top of everything! I hired Kristen as my day of wedding coordinator and boy did she kill it. From the very beginning Kristen was very open and transparent about what our journey working together would look like and she laid it all out there very clearly. She was so receptive and full of so much knowledge. I'll be honest, I always knew I would need a day of coordinator, but my mother was very skeptical about the necessity of one. After meeting with Kristen and her answering all my mom's questions, and even giving us information and guidance on things we never even thought about, my mom was sold. Kristen is so professional, kind, bubbly, efficient, and a thorough person. We scheduled meetings and worked together diligently to create my wedding day timeline and Kristen had everything done to a T! She also communicated with all of the other vendors, which was such a big task that I was also so thankful she did that. On wedding day, Kristen & her team just nailed it. She was present and worked so hard all day!! She showed up with an emergency suitcase kit - and that was so helpful, we definitely needed some things out of there! She set up all my table arrangements and my aisle arrangements, which was such an incredible help. She made sure my husband and the groomsmen were exactly where they needed to be at all times, and just made it such a stress free day for me! At the end of the night, Kristen and her team helped clean up the ballroom & the get-ready rooms, and that was just the most helpful thing!! I seriously could not have imagined by wedding day without her. She made it such a fun and effortless day for my husband and I, but also for my entire wedding party and guests! We were lucky enough to have snagged Kristen Caputo Weddings and Events for the best day ever! I can't say enough how grateful we are for Kristen and her hard work behind making sure we had the most relaxing, beautiful, fun wedding day. Kristen went above and beyond from beginning to end in planning and scheduling for our wedding day. She was on top of reaching out to vendors for us in the upcoming weeks of the wedding and communicated so well with us so we were in the loop but not in the crossfire.

Kristen and her team were amazing- her services were the most critical part of our wedding! She was so organized and on top of everything for the wedding, as soon as I hired her I felt so much more at ease with the planning process. I did a pretty much DIY wedding, my venue did not provide anything other than the venue and furniture, therefore, I had a lot of moving parts to my wedding and multiple vendors involved. Kristen took all the chaotic information I provided and streamlined the whole thing. She organized everything for me into a very easy to follow timeline and then was in constant communication with all the vendors.
My regular hair dresser is the hair dresser I used for my wedding and she and I are friends. She told me that from a vendor's perspective, Kristen was the best coordinator/planner she had ever worked with. She was very impressed with her constant communication and all of the details she thought of in preparation of the event.
Kristen and her team took my vision and made it a reality which was no easy task but she got it done. This was hands down the most positive experience I had in wedding planning/preparation and I would highly recommend Kristen for any planning needs!Kristen Caputo Weddings & Events's reply:

Kristen Caputo was a life saver! We were not a couple who had ever thought about what their wedding would look like, and we had so many questions. She helped us through every step of the way and provided us with great ideas and resources. We shared how we wanted our wedding to feel and our overall vision, and she helped us work through the details to bring our ideas to life. After every planning meeting, we felt relaxed and prepared because of her guidance. She was readily available through text/email whenever we had questions and made multiple trips to the venue. During the rehearsal, she made sure everyone in the wedding knew where to go and fielded logistical questions like the professional she is. On the day of, everything went PERFECTLY. We were lucky enough to not have anything go wrong, and we strongly believe this was because Kristen and Megan’s hard work. They ensured that decorations were set up as planned, everyone was on time, and that all the vendors knew where to go/what to do. As the bride, I did not have to worry about a thing! We had the most fun day of our life. After the wedding, she organized all the decorations, collected leftovers, and made sure everyone had their belongings. My wedding venue required us to hire a professional planner for our event. To be honest, I wasn’t pleased about adding another expense to the ever-growing list of costly “must haves”, and I just knew that I didn’t need help, but what choice did I have?
Fast forward, and… The only thing better than hiring Kristen was saying I do! Seriously! She was everything I didn’t know I needed. We hired her for “day of” services, and she went far beyond that. She scheduled calls & meetings, became the vendor contact, created a timeline, and kept everything and everyone on track before, during and after the wedding. She even went out of her way to find last minute table numbers when I left mine at home.
Kristen was absolutely AMAZING in every way, and I simply can’t say enough fantastic things about her and what she did to ensure our day was perfect. She’s professional, organized, funny, and completely down to earth. By the time the wedding was over I felt like I had hired a friend, not just a wedding planner. Her assistant, Megan, was on point, and I felt like she knew me. She was helpful, calming and so much fun! I can’t imagine the day going any better, and I owe so much of that to them.
If I knew then, what I know now, I wouldn’t have ever tried to do it without her. If you’re on the fence… jump off… pick up the phone… send that email! Girl, you NEED Kristen Caputo in your life. Your only regret will be that you didn't reach out sooner!

I cannot recommend Kristen Caputo Weddings & Events highly enough! My husband and I had a beach wedding last month and I was trying to handle everything myself, until I realized just how overwhelmed I was. Kristen had great reviews and after reaching out, I thought she had very fair prices for her services. I hired her to be my coordinator and I’m SO thankful I did! After every planning call with her, I would feel like a weight was lifted. She always had such helpful input throughout our calls and there are SO many things I would have overlooked without her there to guide me.
On the big day Kristen and her Assistant Megan were AMAZING! I really thought I was going to spend the day worrying about if things were being set up the way I wanted them. On the actual day I wasn’t worried at all, by that point I had so much confidence in Kristen I knew she’d make it happen! And she did! My wedding was set up exactly how I wanted it and everything flowed so nicely! Megan waited with my dad and I before walking down the aisle and she was a lifesaver! She held all my things and helped me stay calm! Our ceremony turned out beautifully. I couldn’t believe how pretty it looked when I got to the aisle! It was better than I had hoped for. For the reception Kristen and Megan directed all our guests while we took photos. Then they made sure we got food and drinks and some time to ourselves before the socializing. Our reception turned out to be so much fun and all of our friends and family LOVED Kristen and Megan! They got to know our guests and they just felt like family celebrating with us by the end of the night!

Kristen and Megan are an amazing crew! They are always on top of things! Kristen lays out everything so neatly and personally reaches out all the time to make sure you are well and feeling confident for your wedding day!
The best advice when working with a day of event coordinator would be to communicate everything so that they can effectively do everything to the amount you expect. If you don't communicate a lot then your outcome will not reflect your expectation. Thankfully for me, I made sure to communicate everything to the fullest and Kristen and Megan exceeded all expectations and made the day go seamlessly!!! They over prepare, bringing extra emergency kits for the "just in case" situations. We didn't have a DJ, but Kristen's husband rocked it for us! He made sure to announce things on time, and he played the right songs at the right time. Kristen and her team try to provide solutions to everything, and are so willing to go the extra mile to make sure your day goes as planned. Kristen made sure to check with me before moving forward with the schedule for the day, making sure that we spent just enough time on each thing scheduled. It didn't feel rushed or pushed, but very enjoyable and she still somehow is able to plan things out to end on time perfectly! She makes sure to give you and your wedding party schedules, and makes sure that everyone is in the right place at the right time. They took all my wedding decor and decorated everything so beautifully throughout the venue. Whether a big or small wedding, I believe they would do a fantastic job as long as you do your part in giving them everything they need. Kristen responds so fast, and is so timely with everything. She is so good at communicating with the vendors and made sure they knew exactly what they were doing. She makes sure to get everything done 2 weeks before the wedding so you are not stressed! I can't thank her enough for the stress she took off my shoulders since I planned the wedding myself. I couldn't speak more highly of her, she knows what she is doing. She is always joyful, bubbly, and caring, and her character shines through so much. My wedding would not have been as memorable or the same without her and her team. Kristen and her team are absolutely God sent. She took all my stress and worries away. Just like any bride I was worried that I would forget to do or get something. Kristen went over everything with me many times. She even sent me a check sheet right before the wedding. Best believe the day of the wedding we definitely forgot a few things. But Kristen and her team did a great job to fill in all the holes we forgot. Pens, she has it. Flower girl petals, she can make it happen! Even though we had her as a day of coordinator it truly felt like she was there the whole time while planning the wedding. She was a joy to work with! I 1000% recommend her!
