I originally thought I could plan my wedding on my own, but I was WAY wrong. We hired Kennedy Weddings approximately a year out from our wedding day. My first meeting was with Cristin over the phone - our personalities just clicked, talking to Cristin made me feel as if I was talking to someone I'd been friends with for years. Cristin made sure I stayed on track with my planning to-do list and had fabulous recommendations when it came to other vendors - she made it really easy to plan a wedding in the Austin area while living in Houston. Cristin, Heather and Kim are such a great team and they really did everything they could to make my weekend absolutely perfect. This will not be the last time we hire Kennedy Creative Events!!

Cristin Meehan at Kennedy Weddings was an absolute godsend!! My husband and I live overseas and I knew that it was important for us to have a wedding planner despite the venue offering a site coordinator to assist us. My husband actually was skeptical of hiring a planner but after we met with Cristin he completely changed his views. I had no idea where to even start with the planning process as I had never thought of anything wedding related in my life in terms of colors, themes, decor, invitations, food...nothing!! Cristin helped us take each step one at a time to make the wedding 100% a reflection of us while she managed the execution, and the execution was flawless! As we live in Dubai, time differences were always a challenge but Cristin was always available to us by phone, Skype, text, and email. Everything was done remotely and we only met Cristin in person about 6 weeks before the wedding. I never had to chase her on anything she was always on top of everything. The weekend itself was magical. To be honest I was a bit bored at times the morning of the wedding because I had nothing to do! Everything was looked after by Cristin and her team. Because of Cristin I was totally relaxed and actually enjoyed every minute of the wedding. We had a bit of a issue with my dress being too long for our first dance where we went to Cristin with "a solution, please!!" and she and her assistant B came up with one that saved the day. All of the vendors we hired were referred to us by Cristin. I didn't research any of them as I figured they all must be ok given that she had worked with them before. All the vendors exceeded our expectations and we wouldn't change a thing. I'm a bit sad the wedding is over now as I will miss Cristin! I think that says a lot.

Cristin worked with us through the entire 18 months of planning our wedding. She was truly amazing. We are based in Baltimore, she is in Austin, and our wedding was in Florida. Even though this was a destination wedding for us and Cristin, she did an amazing job keeping in touch with us and all of the vendors. No idea was too crazy or time consuming, and she made all of our visions for the wedding become a reality. During our wedding weekend, the entire Kennedy Weddings team helped every single thing run smoothly. There were a lot of moving parts to our wedding weekend that could have caused a lot of stress for my family, but we were able to enjoy every moment and did not have to stress at all. I will always be so thankful to Cristin for helping create an amazing wedding weekend.

B or Heather came on board when our first coordinator was unable to do it for some reason. She made me and my daughter feel comfortable immediately. She was always available and made helpful suggestions. The part that was most important to me was the day before and the day of the wedding. Everything went so well because of her planning. Sarah said it was her dream come true and was magical. Thanks so much!!!!!

When my (now) husband and I initially began planning our wedding, we wondered just how complicated it could be. We perused the online planning calendars and checked out the wedding magazines and came to the conclusion it was something we could tackle easily by ourselves. It only took a couple of months (and a few complicated questions from vendors such as "What time does the loading dock at your venue open?") before we realized we didn't have the bandwidth to tackle wedding planning with our full-time jobs.

We reached out to Cristin and the staff at Kennedy Weddings for help with planning the wedding about a year out from the big day. Cristin was absolutely invaluable in organizing all of the different elements of the wedding -- from the room layout, to managing vendors, to keeping us on-time with due dates for big decisions. She's also great at helping generate ideas and recommending vendors without imposing her own preferences. Cristin was responsive, professional, flexible, and enthusiastic throughout the entire process. It was such a relief not to have six different vendors calling me with questions while I was at work; instead everything went through Cristin, who would handle any logistical questions and put together action e-mails with any items left for us to decide on.

Cristin and her team also provided planning services on the day of the wedding itself. If anything didn't go according to plan, my husband and I certainly didn't know it! We were able to fully enjoy ourselves and be with our guests, rather than trying to make sure the ceremony and reception were on schedule. The reception went so smoothly that one of my bridesmaids asked for Cristin's contact information for when she gets married in the future!

And THAT's how I made it through the entire wedding process without a single "bridezilla" moment. We couldn't recommend Kennedy Weddings highly enough!

We used Weddings by Kennedy to coordinate our daughter's wedding in Austin, Texas. I don't live in Austin, so I felt as if I needed some outside help. Additionally, the venue was outdoors, and it required bringing almost everything in. I loved our venue and its owners were extremely accommodating and helpful, but they did not offer wedding planning services. Cristin Meehan with Weddings by Kennedy offered superior assistance. Her professionalism and flexibility, listening to what we wanted and offering appropriate advice, was perfect! She was able to suggest vendors when needed,and coordinated the vendors we had chosen. She was well-respected by the other vendors. She asked for our information in a timely manner,and provided us information in a timely manner. There were lots of moving parts to pulling off a successful event, and we feel that Cristin made this happen! Cristin was already committed to another vent the same day of our event, and her substitute, Sunnie Channel, had been brought in ahead of time so the hand-off was flawless. Additionally, she worked well with my daughter, listening to her concerns and assisting her where she needed help. In summary, we had an absolutely beautiful wedding, and it was due in no small part to Cristin, and Weddings by Kennedy! Now I can't wait to see the video! My only regret is that it goes by so quickly!

Cristin, with Kenndy Weddings, was absolutely wonderful. Her professionalism, combined with her sincere personality, made us all feel like we were part of her family and we knew we'd be well taken care of. Her vendor recommendations matched us perfectly and she always made herself available and responded promptly throughout the months of planning our daughter's wedding. You always expect at least one problem on the day of the wedding but with Cristin taking the lead, everything went perfectly! She made certain that the entire day flowed perfectly, from the arrival of our hair/makeup staff to the final send-off of the bride & groom at the end of the evening. We highly recommend Cristin for any type of function. With Cristen handling everything, we had the pleasure of enjoying my daughter's wedding weekend with our family and friends instead of fretting over all the final details!

Working with Cristin and her team surpassed all my expectations. Everyone was helpful, courteous, and professional, and they were fun to deal with. Cristin Meehan of Kennedy Creations helped us planned the most amazing wedding. We used her for everything! Starting with the rehearsal,which she did in a detail manner so everyone knew what to do. Then on to the rehearsal dinner to setting up on the day of and all the way throught to the cleaning up after the wedding reception. She even mailed the marriage license for us. Cristin exceed our expectations!

Before the wedding,Cristin, returned our emails and phone calls in a timely manner. She meet us at the wedding site to go over all the details. Working well with the wedding site coordinator. She also provided us with a list of vendors, timeline/itinerary planning and etiquette guidance. So, organized!!!

Cristin took into consideartion all of our wishes and expectations and did her best to either meet or exceed them. I do not think we ever heard her say "no" through the whole entire process. The possibilities were truly endless and her execution of everything was both reasonable and timely. Cristin and her staff handled everything in a very calm and professional manner….which for us was so valuable on the day of because she had to deal with some emotional sorrow that had happened. For this reason Cristin was able to provide us with peace of mind and the ability for us to truly relax and enjoy our special day. Which it was.!

We cannot tell you how priceless Cristin is and on our and YOUR behalf. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

Kristin and her crew were amazing on Aimee's wedding day. They made my job easy because all I had to do was be the Mother of the Bride. She made sure everything ws set up and ready to go with all vendors and guests. She was constantly checking on Aimee and me throughout the evening to see if we needed anything. So relieved to have Cristin and the other girls from Kennedy on my team. Weddings can be so stressful, and the pressure can sometimes cause a bride to (ahem) become a bit panicked. Cristin was comforting, calm and never lost her sense of humor. She is also quick on the draw, friendly, creative, intuitive, and knows when and how to put the hammer down. Of all the decisions I had to make planning my daughter's wedding, hiring Cristin as our "week of" planner was probably one of the smartest decisions I made! I honestly am not sure how I would have done it all without her....she was amazing at taking charge and making certain everything ran smoothly and perfectly!! We hired Cristin and Kennedy Weddings to coordinate our wedding at one of Austin's most sought-after but notoriously challenging venues, Laguna Gloria. Admittedly we are a very perfectionist and overachieving couple with sky-high expectations for everything we're involved in. Cristin was the only person we interviewed who could keep pace with us. We knew immediately that we wanted to hire her. We were looking for more than day-of coordination, but not full-blown concept development, and she was the only wedding planner we met who understood intuitively how to provide that level of service. She was professional all the way. I never got the feeling that she was trying to upsell me on anything, or trying to force me into booking her own preferred vendors. We had chosen most vendors ourselves already, but I did go with her recommendations for a rental company, lighting company, and florist. Every vendor she recommended was as professional and attentive as she was, which was a huge value-add for me since I didn't have to navigate Yelp to find quality vendors in my price range. The KW staff were all pros as well - Cristin brought 4 people with her to Laguna the day of our wedding, and they did exactly what we wanted them to do - kept everything running smoothly without bothering us or our mothers for anything. They aren’t hovering in the background of our professional photos. They weren't barking orders at our guests. In fact they blended in so seamlessly that many guests either didn't realize they were there, or thought they were wedding guests! Finally, I have to commend Cristin for solving many last-minute crises that popped up. She was able to locate an ADA ramp for a wheelchair-bound guest less than 24 hours before the wedding, and she ran a lot of interference with the extremely rigid venue staff throughout the planning process. We'd book KW again, for a wedding or for any other event with extremely complex logistics. They didn't forget a single detail.

I would overwhelmingly recommend Cristin Meehan and her team at Weddings by Kennedy for any event. I hired Cristin mid-way through my wedding planning process after becoming dissatisfied with our original planner. Cristin and her team injected huge amounts of professionalism and positivity into the wedding planning process. Cristin is responsive, listens carefully, meets reasonable deadlines, handles vendors with ease, solves problems creatively, and, most importantly, modifies her service in response to feedback. If I could offer any criticism, it would be that thinking "outside the box" in terms of creative vision does not seem to come naturally, but Cristin and her team will skillfully execute any ideas that you bring to the table. I worked with Cristin at Weddings by Kennedy. She was amazing, a pleasure to work with, and provided instantaneous responses to every e-mail. I was ready to make her a Bridesmaid!

In an effort to provide valuable feedback, I've separated my comments into the planning process and the "day of" the event:

During our event, Cristin was excellent about letting us enjoy the Reception without hovering yet also guided us through each step to ensure that the event was running efficiently. This is a tricky balance to achieve, and she did it flawlessly.

As a bonus, she helped my Groom avoid getting thrown into a pool at the end of the night and made sure that I had an opportunity to eat something at the Reception.

While Cristin was addressing the logistics as the guests started to arrive, two other Representatives from Weddings by Kennedy were at the event. One was assigned to ensure that the Groomsmen did not get "out of line" before the Ceremony (brave soul), and another was assigned to our room. She seemed genuinely happy for me and my family and did her best to calm my nerves. She even carried the back of my dress to the Ceremony hall so that it woudln't get dirty. The combination of excellent service and genuine care elevate Weddings by Kennedy to the top of their field.

During the planning process, Cristin successfully coordinated with other vendors to ensure that everything was in balance. She offered realistic solutions to questions that we did not have the expertise to resolve (i.e. color palettes, table arrangements, whether lighting was "really" a good idea, how the Ceremony would flow at the Reception venue, etc.)

On a related note, she coordinated with the florist to make the Ceremony feel like it was more of a sacred place, like a church. The only decision that caused me a signficant amount of stress was whether to have the Ceremony at a church (very far away from the Reception venue) or at the Reception venue itself. I come from a Catholic family, and due to the specific church rules, we could not have a Priest marry us outside of a church. This caused me a lot of grief. Cristin guided me through the decision, helping me weigh the positives and negatives, and ultimately recommended a Deacon who would be willing to officiate and incorporate some Catholic tradition into the Ceremony. She also worked with our florist to place a large iron cross in the Reception Hall, along with beautiful candles, to make it feel more sacred to me. I was honestly moved by the fact that she understood where I was coming from and did her best to make it a day out of my dreams.

The wedding was like a dream. It was beautiful, and we could not have accomplished such a seamless event without Cristin to coordinate our other vendors.

I'm obviously very satisfied with her services and will sing her praises to the world.

Cristin Meehan of Kennedy Weddings wanted to use her preferred vendors (rather than ours), and she often choose to ignore our requests, and presented her preferences. On the occasion that I contacted vendors, the price I was given was less than the price Cristin quoted for the same vendor/service. Using Kennedy Weddings was a mistake as their services just made things more difficult.
