Having Kristi as our wedding planner was the best decision! From the very beginning of the planning process, she was a lifesaver. Her kindness and positive attitude made a potentially overwhelming experience enjoyable.
Kristi was incredibly organized and on top of everything. She consistently arrived early for meetings and appointments, which put us at ease knowing things would run smoothly.
In the lead-up to the wedding, she was our rock. She helped us navigate every detail, from finding the perfect vendors to finalizing the timeline. We never felt like a question or request was too much trouble.
On the wedding day itself, Kristi and her assistant were like magicians. Kristi handled everything seamlessly behind the scenes, allowing us to truly focus on celebrating with our loved ones. We can't thank her enough for making our dream wedding a reality. -

Absolutely fantastic!!
Kristi was absolutely amazing! I used Joyful Details for month of coordination for my wedding. She went above and beyond expectations and was so helpful throughout the process over the span of a year! She was so consistent and quick to respond to all emails not just me but all the vendors involved. She has such calming energy, so any anxiety I had was put to ease! Loved her. Id recommend her for any event and would gladly use her in the future!!! -

We had a great wedding, and it really is all thanks to Kristi. We’re based in New York, not Austin, but Kristi helped us with everything. Recommending vendors. Coordinating conversations. Managing our anxiety. After every call we had with Kristi, my wife and I always commented how lucky we were to have found Kristi. She’s friendly, she’s organized, and she knows everybody. She truly went above and beyond, and we’re so grateful she did. -

I had an incredible experience working with Kristi and her team on our wedding day. Even leading up to our wedding day, she was organized, checked in to make sure the big milestone decisions had been made, took over communications with all of our vendors ~30 days before, and made me feel taken care of so I could relax before the big day. On our wedding day she was punctual, made me feel so special, and handled all of our vendors so well. She kept us on track of our wedding timeline and everything flowed smoothly and without any hiccups. We had the most fun day and it was in large part due to Kristi and her wedding coordinating skills. I would recommend her to anyone! -

Kristi is an Angel on earth! Anyone who knows me, KNOWS I am a VERY hands-on person in everything I do. I simply do not let others take control because I feel like I get anxiety that people will do it wrong or I can do it better. However, Kristi was able to make me feel so calm and at peace. She was there for every detail I needed, big or small. She was great with communication for both myself and my vendors. She made me feel like I could trust her to execute things well and I was able to actually relax and enjoy my wedding day. You NEED her! Thank you so much for everything! -

It was an absolute pleasure working with Kristi from start to finish! I would sum her up as calm and capable. Her presence on our wedding day really helped me to feel that everything was going to be fine. There was nothing too big or small for her to handle with ease. I felt totally in the right hands.
Leading up to our big day, Kristi was my go-to person with questions about anything - nothing was too silly or weird. She could help keep me grounded on where to start and what next steps should be. She was always so prompt in her responses and clear in her advice. I would have been lost without her.

Connecting with Kristi was the best decision that I made during the wedding planning process. She was one of the first vendors we booked. By the end of our first call, I felt such a feeling of relief knowing that we had professional guiding us through the process. I can't imagine how everything would have happened without her. She provided vendor recommendations, a monthly wedding checklist and made sure we were on track. As the wedding date approached, she confirmed and checked in with the vendors for us and she was available for all my questions—even napkin folds! The day of the wedding I was able to soak it in and enjoy getting ready with my friends without worrying about anything. It was stress free knowing that if there were any issues, it would be taken care of. If we needed anything or had questions they were there immediately. Kristi also has a very calming presence. She kept us on schedule, was on top of every detail, and super fun to work with. Everything went exactly as planned thanks to her and her team. I truly felt like she cared so much about making sure we had the best day and I’m so thankful that she was there to make our wedding perfect! -

WOW - the word that comes to mind when I think about how well-executed our wedding day was! My fiance and I hired Kristi to be our day-of coordinator. at first we were on the fence, but a friend of mine had heavily endorced Kristi. we ended up going for it and I AM SO HAPPY WE DID.
I never even really knew Kristi was there. She was So calm, cool and collected, I Am certain things went wrong (there is always room for error in situations like that), but I had no idea if they did or not, because if they did, they were handled on the spot in an effective way.
Kristi came with an assistant who was just as amazing.
During our long photo session, her assistant asked if i needed anything from inside, water, what have you grabbed it for me, brought it out, etc.
During the processional, they were standing with us, telling people when to walk out, everything was calm, peaceful, amazing.
this kept my nerves totally under control- it felt like, graduation day and your favorite teacher being there behind the curtain with you. Cheering you on, and helping you make those steps into your future.
leading up to the wedding- Kristi supplied support where needed (based on what we chose when we signed her contract options) and that was all amazing and executed perfectly as well.
I have already been bragging about her on instagram but i needed to take to wedding wire as well and leave her this shining review, we could not have chosen a better Day Of Coordinator.
Do yourself a favor, your family friends and Fiance will thank you! -

We don't know what we would've done without Kristi!
I honestly can't have imagined our wedding without Kristi. From the beginning, her competitive pricing and our initial conversation with her reassured us that we made the right decision. She took over communication with our vendors in the month leading up to her wedding which is the BEST feeling. I felt that she truly had my back and was looking out for our best interest. She made sure all vendors were set before the wedding day which had us going into wedding week with ease. The day of the wedding, she was INCREDIBLE. She was calm and cheerful the entire day, and made sure we were on time with everything. To Joe andI, everything went perfectly and I know she put in a lot of work to make sure we had absolutely NOTHING to stress over. Our family was also raving about her professionalism and efficiency the entire day. HIGHLY recommend. -

Kristi is the best money we've spent on our wedding. She is professional, kind and has such a calm, reassuring presence. She is available any time we need help or advice. And most importantly, as we had to postpone our 3/21 wedding due to the coronavirus, Kristi was with us every step of the way. She quickly followed up with all our vendors to get them on board with our new date and we didn't lose a dime. This situation could have been a nightmare but she made it seamless. If you are considering Kristi for a coordinator or planner, DO IT! -

Kristi was hands down one of the best decisions we made when it came to picking vendors. We honestly would have lost our minds without her. Her kindness, professionalism, attention to detail and patience was evident in everything she did and every interaction we had. There was literally not a single time we called her that she did not answer the phone. She was the constant in all the craziness leading up to our big day. On the day of our wedding we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Her energy and demeanor are so calming that just by being around her you know that everything is going to be ok. Not only is she amazing at what she does she is an amazing person and an absolute joy to work with. We recommend not looking elsewhere when choosing a day of coordinator or wedding planner. You will not be disappointed!! -

This week, someone asked me for “wedding planning advice” - I only had to think for a second before “HIRE A PLANNER” came out of my mouth. To be honest, after getting engaged - I thought I could handle the planning thing - I had a checklist from the Knot and a fiancé who was just as excited about the details as I was. However, about two weeks in and feeling extremely overwhelmed at ALL of the Austin vendors *for literally everything* - I reached out to Kristi.
Upon meeting her - her organization and knowledge of all things wedding sold me. She is able to share advice from her 10+ years of planning - knowing what works well, what has been a disaster in the past, and tips on how to save money! I was planning my wedding far away from family and having Kristi at all of our appointments was a Godsend. She provided some mom-like wisdom when I just could not make a decision. Most importantly, Kristi kept my husband and I on track letting us know the tasks and decisions that needed to be completed each week/month.
When wedding day came, everything was absolutely perfect - if there was something wrong, I didn’t know about it because Kristi had it taken care of behind the scenes. She truly made the day so stress free!!
I really can’t recommend Kristi enough - she is the best. Hire her, you won't regret it.

She was always extremely responsive, attentive and ready to help us with whatever random requests we had. She was super helpful in suggesting unique places for our out-of-town guests to visit and stay, and had great resources for us to use (from wedding planning documents to lists of vendors).
On our Wedding Day she made sure that everything was set up well in advance of our guests arriving and did a great job orchestrating all of the vendors and assisted with the room flip. She also made sure that all of our personal belongings ended up in the right car at the end of the night so we didn't have to worry about anything after the wedding was over.
I would highly recommend working with Kristie at Joyful Details to anyone who's looking for a wedding planner - she was simply amazing. -

She had put me into my place where I'm suppose to be and definitely got me to calm down & realize I've become a bridezilla. She had put up with me so much, I thought she would quit on me. But alas! She stayed and kept her cool. Weddings are stressful for the bride, we all want to feel special, get help yet want to be in control & Kristi helped and worked around it. She was awesome comes the wedding day, she took care of everything for me! I didn't worry one bit. I would've never been able to relax the day of if it wasn't for her... -

Kristi is a rock star. She was always responsive with phone calls and emails, helped me choose the right vendors to fit my needs and vision, and was always honest. I really trust her opinions and she definitely knows what's she's doing when it comes to running a tight timeline! She also decorated our venue with Jeannie's help, and it looked stunning. I could count on Kristi for anything, and I highly recommend her! Going with Joyful Details was definitely the easiest and best wedding planning decision we made. -

Rachel Sent on 08/18/2011– If I could give Kristi an A++++++ I would. Both my husband and I could not stop talking about how much of a help Kristi was at our wedding. She was the calm of the storm, and the little go getter that we needed during the uneven times. She brought an assistant, and they both waited on every request we had with shining stars. Kristi helped sew part of my dress that my BM’s ripped trying to get the corset on, and she made the venue come to life with my vision. She was amazing in every single way, and if there is one thing that our budget was well worth splurging on, it was her. (She was reasonably priced as well!) I love Kristi so very much! -

Stephanie Sent on 04/23/2013My husband and I hired Kristi to be our day-of coordinator and we're super-glad we did! Before the big day, Kristi always had timely responses to all my email questions/concerns and helped our officiant coordinate our rehearsal. On the big day, Kristi and her assistant took care of everything starting from about 2 hours before the ceremony and helped wrap things up after J and I left the venue. We had a lot of stuff going on during our brunchtime wedding and I had a rough outline of what our timeline was going to look like. Kristi helped finalize our timeline and had very good suggestions that I didn't even think of! The day of, we started and ended right on time with everything in between going smoothly! Kristi is very nice, always professional, and seems to have a lot of experience with everything wedding-related. J & I would definitely recommend Joyful Details to any couple looking for a great wedding planner!
