John swooped in when we were in need. He helped us finalize everything the last three months prior to the wedding. He is organized, has a keen attention to detail, creative, visual, tech savvy, budget conscious, and a great listener. He gave us more time than he should have and always went above and beyond. I could go on and on - this is coming from 2 very type-A brides. We were lucky we found him and would recommend him 100x over to all our family and friends. We were happy we snagged him before all of FL finds out about him. If you want an amazing outcome/aesthetic John Campbell is a must.John Campbell Events and Design's reply:

When you came to me after parting ways with your first planner, one of my biggest goals was to show you what a true wedding planning experience should be like. Our ethos has always included adjusting our standard practices to best serve every couple; so, when it was clear that you wanted to be more involved in the wedding planning process than most of our other clients, I was so happy to accommodate that desire and create a space where we could collaborate in order to create an amazing wedding day on a short time frame. For you to say you were lucky to find me is the highest compliment. I can only imagine how scary it must be to hire a new planner after having a less than ideal experience with someone, so I really appreciate the trust you put in me and my team to create an amazing planning and wedding day experience for you both.
Even though we only had 3 months together, it was such a pleasure getting to know you and your families. To know that everyone had an amazing day is just icing on the cake.

We had 0 vision going into this wedding, and John turned our lack of vision into the most beautiful wedding I could have imagined. He is very detailed and creative, that this is just his calling. He did our florals too, and I was blown away by it. We truly could not have done any of it without him. Best money spent! -

Best Money Spent!
Honestly l don’t even know where to begin John and his team we’re outstanding. From the moment I spoke to John I knew I had to hire him and it was one of the best decisions I made. Since my wedding was a sort of destination wedding I was never able to meet John in person but we had a couple of meetings through Skype and he took his time to go through every single detail of the wedding he even made suggestions and asked questions about things I hadn’t thought about, this made me feel comfortable that he understood my vision and ideas and I felt confident he would do a great job. The day of the wedding I didn’t hear much from John which was perfect since I was so busy, excited and anxious that knowing that the wedding vendors and all the coordination was handled allowed me to be as relaxed as I could be and I would was able to enjoy the day without stress. John handled everything and made my Pinterest vision come to life, I was a very meticulous bride and wanted some odd and specific things that he made sure those were handled. John listened and remembered everything that I had told him was important to me for example we mentioned John that we wanted to join cocktail hour because I wanted to eat some appetizers and have drinks. So John made sure to call the people I was with while taking the photos to get our drink order and we arrived at the cocktail area we had a waiter outside waiting for us with our drinks and two of each appetizers ready for us, this blew my husband and me away. This is the service and attention to detail you want on your day.
If you read all this call John and find a way to squeeze a him into your budget trust me you will not regret it. I am was a very organized bride and did so much research but hiring a day of coordinator was worth every penny.

I vividly remember our first conversation, and I knew from the start that I HAD to be your coordinator. I loved your vision, and I truly wanted to help you bring it to life. You were my first bride to take my advice on the cheesecloth runner, and it was such a great touch that helped your centrepieces pop!
I know we didn’t see each other much before the ceremony since there was so much setup for me to supervise, but trust me when I say I knew what you were doing the whole day! I had a walkie talkie from the venue so I could ask their employees what you were up to 😂
I always had eyes on you and was communicating with the team to keep things on track.
It was SUCH a beautiful wedding. You’ve given me quite a bit of inspiration for my own big day (whenever that happens)!

My husband and I were married February 2020, and from the time leading up to our wedding and through the day, John really helped us bring our wedding from thoughts on paper to real life. I first met John at a wedding expo, and his calm and caring demeanor really spoke to me. I knew that I had to hire him as my day-of coordinator! John listened to us and our visions for our wedding; he never made us feel like something was too big of a request or unattainable. He has excellent connections with local vendors. He has extensive insights to what goes on with planning a wedding from the back of the house to guest experience. John is very communicative and easy to work with. We had a few meetings during the year leading up to our wedding date to make sure we were on track with our planning. He worked well with our vendors to make sure everyone knew their roles. Most importantly, he kept us on schedule and made sure my groom and I got to do all of the things we wanted to do on our wedding day. His assistant Rose helped us the day of our wedding and she is also just as sweet and efficient as John. I cannot sing his praises enough. Above and Beyond
Working with John Campbell Weddings was an absolute dream! There are so many things to rave about! John is very well connected and able to make recommendations for sophisticated vendors to work with. I am so thankful for the people he hooked me up with. John is punctual, organized, thorough and detail-oriented. He has the VISION. I did not have to sweat one single thing that day- he organized my family (we know that’s a tough job) and ran things so smoothly, he created an unforgettable atmosphere. John also did all the florals for our wedding- including delivering the most stunning all-white bridal bouquet I have ever seen. An absolute work of art that I will keep and cherish all my days. I will always be thankful to John for what he did for us. Couldn't have pulled it off without John
Hiring John to coordinate our wedding was the best decision my husband and I made. I had been searching for a coordinator months before our wedding day, but had no luck. Most of the people I interviewed either weren't a good fit, didn't offer coordination without planning services, or charged outrageous amounts.
About a month before the big day, I came across John on WeddingWire and sent him a message. He promptly responded and we had a call to go over details. Most of the wedding vendors had been secured and decorations were purchased at that point. My husband and I just needed someone to execute our vision so we could focus on enjoying our wedding day!
John and I met a couple times before the wedding day to walk the venue, nail down last minute details and he also helped with our rehearsal. Leading up to the event, numerous vendors complimented John when I spoke with them. That gave us a tremendous amount of confidence going into the wedding day.
When the big day finally came, John alleviated so much stress for us. He took care of everything and kept us on schedule. Not once, did we have to take our focus away from enjoying friends and family. John also made the bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres and they turned out fabulous! I would highly recommend John if you are searching for a coordinator. He is great at what he does and will ensure your big day is everything you'd hoped for.John Campbell Events and Design's reply:

John was the best money I spent on my daughter’s wedding. Not only did he do the day of coordination but he was also our Florist and the flowers were beautiful. There is no way I could have made it through this experience without his assistance. Ella Sent on 03/05/2019Great DOC for our mixed Arab-American wedding planned from another country!
My husband and I live abroad but wanted to get married in my hometown, so we didn't meet John in person until the rehearsal the day before. We also probably were even more difficult because we made a lot of last minute changes and had a lot of unusual elements to the wedding because it was mixed-culture. Our wedding was a budget one, so I wasn't sure about hiring a DOC in the first place, but I am so glad I did. John took all our last minute changes in stride, and he was so helpful for making things run smoothly, from the rehearsal the day before to solving all the little tiny problems that popped up on the day of. He did a really great job and I was able to be relaxed, despite typically being a really anxious person. He also seems just like a generally sweet and genuine person, and was also very open and excited about the non-American elements of our wedding, which I really appreciated.John Campbell Events and Design's reply:

John was THE BEST decision we made throughout the entire wedding process. He exceeded any expectations of what we had in mind for the role he would take on - especially the months leading up to it.
We instantly connected with him. From the first meeting with John to the very last, we left each one feeling at ease as if we had made much more progress in that hour with him than we had made in the weeks leading up to it. He was the the key in putting all of the pieces together for us.
John was full of suggestions and recommendations in every area and was incredibly knowledgeable on all the pieces that go in to planning a wedding. To add to that, he is skilled and incredibly knowledgeable on flowers! It was so much fun working with him on it too! I was set on the idea of tropical flowers and John knew every type out there. He suggested flowers I had never seen before that were perfect for the look we were going for, and he was able to put everything together in a way that took my vision and made it even more beautiful. He made me the most stunning floral headpiece (a last minute request) and it could not have been any more perfect. I was blown away on the day of the wedding when all of the decor and flowers came together. It was all so much more beautiful than I could have ever dreamed of.
John never once pressured us when it came to our ideas or our budget. He had a very genuine approach in making sure that we would have the wedding day we wanted in every aspect of the day.
John always made us both feel so at ease the months leading up to the wedding and the day of, which is really such a key component in all of it. John ran things seamlessly from start to finish. We always had 150% confidence that with John, we could make it all happen!
I really can’t speak highly enough of him. He is incredibly gifted at what he does and I feel so grateful that we crossed paths with him. I can't imagine our wedding day having gone on with out him. I HIGHLY recommend John and his team!!

John was fantastic! He did our day of coordinating but the actual delivery of all he did was much more than day-of. I was told by various guests and vendors at the wedding that John was so on top of things and he was in every place (which was acres of gardens) at once. Our wedding was a destination in central Florida and John and his team made sure to visit the venue and work with our various vendors who were spread across the central and western regions of the state. He delivered above expectations and we are so pleased we had his help and expertise on our special day. I would highly recommend him.John Campbell Events and Design's reply:

Hiring John Campbell was THE best decision we made in regards to our wedding. From day one John clarified unanswered questions, even the ones we didn’t know to ask. His experience and foresight helped me find ways to make our dream wedding a reality, while simultaneously keeping us comfortable and as stress-free as possible by providing steady updates and reassurances backed by measurable progress. John did all of our flowers. Those were possibly the most complimented detail of our wedding. John took the burden of contacting and communicating with all our vendors. Not only did he do it successfully, but all of our vendors loved John by the end of our wedding night. John handled decoration and clean up. Our caterer double booked the China we were supposed to use, and didn’t inform us until a couple days before. John saved us there as well by negotiating with them and outsourcing the silverware.
A wedding day is supposed to be a dream come true. John Campbell made sure of that. Little things, like making sure my husband and I had small peaceful moments in between introductions and pictures, really made our wedding night more of a shared memory than just another party. Thank you for everything John! By the end of our night it felt like you were part of the family, and I would recommend you to anybody getting married, regardless of size or scope.John Campbell Events and Design's reply:
