Sarah was great during our whole wedding planning process. She was always available for consultation when we had specific questions or when we needed to meet with vendors. Her expertise and knowledge in the process and area meant she always had great recommendations for vendor options, and she was incredibly resourceful and detail-oriented. We had back up plans in place for the big day, but she also proved that she is able to handle anything that comes up unexpectedly. She was incredibly professional and a great resource when navigating the intricacies of vendor selection or venue negotiations. She knew the right questions to ask even when we did not. Moreover, she has a great eye for design. Her recommendations for how to set up the venue, placement of flowers, candles, etc. made for a beautiful wedding. She made our wedding day a breeze and we would definitely recommend her as a planner to any couple. -

Kickass Wedding Planner!!
Jade & Onyx is AMAZING! We worked with them on our wedding this past March, and (pardon my French) they fucking SLAYED it. They took my Pinterest vision and made it a reality. Sarah A and Sarah C are incredible! Our wedding was literally the fairytale wedding of my dreams thanks to both of them. It was STUNNING!!
They helped guide two people who were completely clueless about weddings through the entire planning process. They provided planning tools, a sounding board for all my vague ideas, and in-depth expertise. They helped us think through the details logistics that we hadn't even considered thinking about!
Sarah A is very knowledge about the local vendors in Austin and the industry in general. We had endless questions, and she was always just a text away! She helped us pick the best vendors for our vision and budget, and all her vendor recommendations were nothing short of stellar.
Their creativity, sense of aesthetic, and design are top notch. They understood my vision and were able to help me figure out exactly what I was looking for with each part of the wedding. Also Sarah C helped us put together an awesome website and designed all of our stationary for the wedding (welcome sign, seating assignments, ceremony cards, and menus). All the stationary looked beautiful!
We had a fusion wedding with two ceremonies, but the wedding day was organized and executed seamlessly. As someone who is very anxious and type A, I didn't have to worry at all with them at the helm! They made sure everything went flawlessly.
On top of all this, Sarah A and Sarah C are genuinely just wonderful people. They are kind, genuine, smart, and funny. It was really awesome working with them both. I'm so grateful to them for making my wedding such an amazing experience. I cannot recommend them enough. Book them now!!! -

I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional service provided by Sarah A. and the Jade & Onyx team! From our initial consultation to the last dance at our reception, every moment was perfectly executed. Despite being our month of coordinator they made sure to stay in touch and answer any questions we had at any point in time - which lets be honest theres always a ton of questions! Sarah brought a lot of industry insight and has relationships with almost all of the vendors we selected which made things even easier. Their ability to understand our style and preferences made the planning process seamless and enjoyable. With all of this combined Sarah helped show us where we could save on cost which is always a huge plus! They also provided a suite of tools that we could use and help us along the process. Would definitely recommend them to couples looking for a planner! -

Not tomorrow. Not next week. Do it right now. One phone call was all it took for us to book Jade & Onyx. What we liked from the jump was that you could tell immediately that Sarah takes care of business. She was smart, knowledgeable, collaborative, and honest throughout the entire process. She was always just a text away for any need ranging from consulting us on how to get money back from a bad vendor to getting the groom a band-aid right before he walked down the aisle. Every detail was perfect and more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. Our wedding day was perfect and 100% worry free. Book Jade & Onyx immediately! Why are you still reading this?? Determined to make YOU have the best wedding day ever
Sarah and everyone at Jade & Onyx were amazing! We used them for mid-level coordinating and they were true partners in helping us with vendors we already had as well as identifying new vendors. Sarah was also great at suggesting additional decor ideas (which really added to the vibe!) and ways for us to save money in areas we didn’t want to break the bank. She was very responsive and I never felt confined to only a certain number of meetings - she just wanted everything to be in a good place for our big day.
She also went above and beyond - We didn’t live in Austin at the time of the wedding and let me send some personal items for the wedding to her directly which was a huge help.
Sarah couldn’t be there the day of our wedding but I was never concerned because she had everything confirmed ahead of time and was able to brief our day or coordinators. The day of lead coordinator and assistant were also AMAZING. I got to actually enjoy my wedding day because they were on top of the schedule, putting out items and even packing up all our personal items to put in a family member’s car at the end of the night. All I had to do was movie with guests and dance the night away. Truly the best money I ever spent! -

Choosing Jade & Onyx to curate our wedding day was a gift I’d like to share with any soon to be newly weds.
Our wedding day was so smooth and we got to enjoy every moment because Jade & Onyx covered all of the details.
They facilitated a seamless planning process with the vendors, venue, and consistently communicated with us in the 3-6 months leading up to our event. They offered insight on floral, signage, decor and an outstanding offering of service providers.
The day went off without a hitch thanks to the Jade & Onyx team. -

I could not have wished for a better planner experience. Sarah Avigne is an absolute pro, and her day of assistant, Amanda, also did an incredible job. Sarah organized and managed my vendors to ensure everything came together beautifully on my wedding day despite some last minute additions I made and an outdoor ceremony in cold and rainy conditions. I could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding, and the credit for that goes directly to Sarah and her team. I am so grateful I found her. All of our guests commented on the beauty and elegance of the event, and literally all of my family members made special mention of Sarah and how seamlessly she managed the operation. There is NO WAY we would have pulled off such an AMAZING day without her and her team! -

Sarah was phenomenal. From a year before to even after my wedding she was so communicative and helpful. I only hired her as a month of coordinator but she was there the whole planning process to answer ALL my questions, provide any input, and make sure I was on track. During the wedding she was so on it to make sure I had everything I needed and everything was running smoothly. She also brought amazing ideas during the ceremony that made it a moment I would never forget. I wish I could give her more stars!! -

Jade & Onyx made our wedding at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center the best experience ever.
We didn't know if we would be able to hire them, because they were a bit out of our price range, but they worked with our budget (which we are so thankful for.) Sarah A. arranged multiple calls with us starting from about 90 days out, which was a pleasant surprise since most day-of coordinators will only start talking to you 30 days out. We had virtual meetings together throughout the 90 days, slowly going through and solidifying the details of the wedding. Most importantly, we talked through what we wanted the overall vibe/atmosphere to be like. I had been in contact with other coordinators who had stellar reviews, but when I talked with them they seemed a bit negative and told me that certain things we wanted couldn’t be done/would be difficult to get done… Personally, I wanted a coordinator that took my ideas/wants and brainstormed ways to make them a reality. Sarah really listened to what was important to us, and worked with us and all of our other vendors to make that a reality.
Not everything on our wedding day went exactly according to plan because that's just how weddings go (for example, our speeches went over about 30 minutes lol!), but they made sure the overall atmosphere and vibe stayed consistent throughout, and that the things that were most important to us were executed seamlessly. We both had the most relaxing and enjoyable wedding day. We feel so lucky to have had them. -

Working with Sarah at Jade + Onyx was the absolute best experience I could have asked for. I came to her with a vision of having a romantic, Italian-inspired outdoor wedding. Not only did she help me find the perfect venue in the Texas Hill Country, but she also assisted with finding the amazing vendors from floral, food, entertainment, furniture rentals, and more. She ran point on the floral wall for photos, organizing the 13-piece band, renting the modern chic furniture, getting the perfect lighting and a floral ceremony piece that became the statement piece of the wedding.
The best part was that she developed the schedule for me for all of the vendors and was there the day-of to make that everything went off without a hitch. I can't recommend Sarah enough, she has the best taste and I'm so happy she was a part of our special day. -

Sarah was simply perfect! For as long as I can remember I knew that if I was fortunate enough to find my forever person and have a wedding one day, I wanted it by the water. Some of my favorite childhood memories are from spending the summers at our beach back home in Connecticut. And my husband loves the water just as much as I do, spending his summers at his family's lake house in Texas. When Sarah and I first met, I had shared this vision with her, and she immediately suggested the Lakeway Resort & Spa here in Austin. We visited a few other lakefront venues before seeing Lakeway Resort, and within minutes of our tour my husband and I both had the "this is it!" moment. The glass-windowed reception room has breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Travis. The resort had such a cozy, romantic, fun vibe to it, and I could immediately envision our family and friends enjoying all of their amazing amenities. I was very impressed with how in tune Sarah already was with my vision and priorities for our big day, so it was a no-brainer to hire her for month-of and design coordination!
Sarah was on top of EVERYTHING and guided us throughout the entire process with a smile. Besides her sharp professionalism and attention to detail, she brought personality, humor and levity to every task we had to tackle (something that a nervous/excited bride greatly appreciated!). Instead of what I thought would be stressful meetings, our planning meetings were FUN!! We had multiple meetings to go over budget, food, floral and table decor, lighting, timeline...the list goes on. Sarah was always available and extremely responsive. She has amazing industry relationships and provided vendor recommendations which proved to be invaluable. And most importantly, I could be myself with her, open and honest, and knew she was always looking out for the best for us.
Sarah designed a beautiful ceremony floor plan, including a creative floral arrangement which surrounded the altar. Our ceremony took place in the same ballroom the resort provides for the reception, which required a room flip that Sarah executed flawlessly while we took our wedding party pictures and enjoyed the cocktail hour. The flow of the day couldn't have been smoother, all thanks to Sarah's perseverance and coordination.
I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about Sarah, and cannot put into words how thankful my husband and I were to have worked with her. I still remember seeing Sarah minutes before walking down the aisle and her presence calmed me in such a way that I'll forever be grateful for. I would partner up with her again for any event I plan in the future. She is hard working, passionate, and goes above and beyond for her clients. It goes without saying that anyone would be in fantastic hands with Sarah. From beginning to end, my experience was nothing less than stellar! -
