Three Events — One Exceptional Planner
We had the pleasure of working with Jackie on three very different events surrounding our son’s wedding in Charlotte, North Carolina, in July 2026. She helped us plan a seated rehearsal dinner for 28 and a Welcome Party for 115—both held at the Triple C Barrel Room, which was transformed for two very different celebrations—as well as an after-party for approximately 100 guests at La Belle Helene, a fantastic French bistro and the perfect setting to send the happy couple off to their honeymoon in France!
From our first conversation 15 months before the events through the final Sunday afternoon logistics, Jackie was available, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about both local and national event vendors.
What made the entire experience exceptional was Jackie’s ability to listen to our goals for each event and, through a truly collaborative process, help bring our vision to life. Her creativity, attention to detail, and thoughtful execution ensured a seamless weekend for our guests.
Jackie’s personal commitment throughout the weekend was remarkable. She was there for each of our three events and for the transitions in between—even at the wedding venue to ensure guests were transported smoothly to the after-party. Whenever we turned around, Jackie was there, quietly making sure everything was being executed as planned. Her presence allowed us to simply enjoy the celebrations and our guests.

I Brought the Puzzle Pieces, Amanda Put Them Together
Amanda was our "month-of" wedding planner, and hiring her was one of the best decisions we made. I had already booked most of my vendors by the time we started working together, but Amanda provided a highly organized shared drive to collect all the information she needed, including vendor contracts, contact information, and the countless details required to create a comprehensive wedding timeline.
Once she had everything, she reached out to all of our vendors to confirm details, ensure nothing was missing, and make sure everyone was on the same page. Throughout the entire process, Amanda was calm, confident, and professional in all of her communication and actions. She also helped us navigate a challenging situation with one of our vendors with grace and professionalism.
Amanda served as a liaison between me and our venue, which made my job so much easier and gave me peace of mind that no detail was being overlooked. She managed so many little things I never would have thought of, so by the time our wedding day arrived, all we had to do was follow her direction and truly experience the day.
I like to say that I gathered all the puzzle pieces, and Amanda put them together. Of course, hurdles come up during wedding planning, but Amanda's responses and guidance always helped me keep perspective instead of spiraling.
If I could do it all over again, I would 100% hire the expertise of Jackie Fogartie Events. Amanda truly lightened the load of wedding planning and allowed us to be fully present on the best day of our lives.

I could not have picked a better person to plan my daughter’s wedding. Jackie was a partner every step of the way. She is knowledgeable, passionate, hyper-organized, creative, and kind. She also has a great eye for design. From start to finish working with Jackie was a dream. She took the time to understand my daughter and her fiance’s vision and she executed it perfectly. Every detail was taken care of and her meticulous planning made the day flow seamlessly. Furthermore, her vendor recommendations were off the charts. Rehearsal Dinner and Outdoor Wedding and Reception
Jackie Fogartie was wonderful to work with from start to finish. As Mother of the Groom ...she helped me with the Rehearsal Dinner Planning and then my now new daughter-in-law with the outdoor wedding coordination. With uncertain weather throughout the week, she remained calm, reassuring and completely in control every step of the way. Her steady presence helped everyone relax and trust that everything would turn out fine and it truly did.
She connected me (MOG) and the bride with outstanding vendors who were professional, talented and a pleasure to work with. Every recommendation she made turned out to be perfect for the vision and style for the weekend.
What impressed me most was her ability to handle countless last-minute details and changes without evert seeming flustered. Whether it was weather adjustments, timeline tweaks, gathering petals to throw or any unexpected needs that popped up along the way she handled it all so it made it look effortless.
Beyond her organization and expertise she brought such a positive and problem solving attitude to the whole experience from Rehearsal Dinner to Wedding....plus she brought a great staff to make the events run smoothly. I always felt supported and heard. We are grateful for all she did to make the weekend a celebration no one will forget.

Sasha was Amazing!!!
We used Jackie Fogartie for some early wedding planning consulting then Sasha Thumann for 6 months out planning. Both were great. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but they helped with so much of it. From the very first consultations, they both demonstrated exceptional professionalism. All the vendors recommended worked well together. All of our communication was with Sasha once within 6 months of our event. She was flexible, relaxed and brought calmness to everything. She was always available to answer questions. I asked so many!!! She resolved all last-minute changes without a blink! On the big day, everything ran smoothly thanks to her and our vendors. She even handled her own shoulder dislocation. A doctor popped it back and she just marched on. I did not even know until later when a member of the bridal party mentioned it to me. I could not believe it. She was just amazing!! We loved being around her. Our daughter, her fiancée, and all the guests had a fabulous day and night. We felt so blessed to have Sasha, her dedication and the knowledge of Jackie Fogartie Events.

Where do I start with Jackie... I think it is safe to say there wouldn't have been a wedding without Jackie. From the moment we talked (over a year before the wedding, bless her for putting up with me that long) I knew I was in good hands. Jackie is calm, professional, knowledgeable and fun. However, I have no doubt that she couldn't get stuff done in an emergency or if anything got out of hand. I should note, that there was literally not one single emergency, issue, discrepancy in over the year working with her. The day was above and beyond. I was calm on my wedding day - I knew I didn't have anything to worry about. I think the best aspect of Jackie is that she was just as excited about the wedding as me. I had a lot of peace knowing that this felt like more than a job to her, she had my husband and I's best interest and genuinely wanted to best wedding for us. Don't think twice about hiring Jackie she is THE BEST!!!!!!

Jackie and her crew were amazing. My daughter didn’t have to worry about anything concerning her wedding. Jackie had everything and everyone in place for the big day. Even before the big day, from the moment I hired her, she was always there for my daughter. Vendors, flowers, music, food. Not one person who attended the wedding had a bad experience. NOT ONE! Jackie and her team were a big part of that. You will not be disappointed if you use her team. She has cultivated connections with the most talented and respected special event vendors in our region and brings valuable experience to her clients in navigating contracts and managing the vendor team. Jackie is gifted with the ability to establish instant rapport and respect with key persons such as church officials, and she anticipates and addresses client anxieties and concerns and makes herself available for questions and discussions throughout the process.
Jackie’s superior organizational skills and detail-oriented approach minimize the potential for problems. In our experience, for the inevitable glitches outside of her control, she was in solution mode before we had a moment of concern. Yard game vendor overbooks the day before the wedding? Jackie secures an alternate. Hotel refuses to distribute welcome bags? Jackie arranges an assistant to greet our guests. Special order charger plates must be received, inspected and unpacked, then re-packed and returned to vendor by freight carrier within a tight time-frame? Jackie has it covered!
Jackie has an excellent sense of timing and strong time management skills. Ever heard Mastermind by Taylor Swift? That was written about Jackie. My husband and I were so lucky to have Jackie as our planner. She is so incredibly talented at what she does. She took the little outline that I gave her and turned it into the most beautiful day. I am not artistic or good at design things, in fact I have told her many times that there is not a job out there that I would be worse at than hers. Even with my little guidance/instruction, she designed the most stunning wedding that felt so much like my husband and I. She made it so unique and catered to us. Beyond her design talents, she is an absolute breeze to work with. There is nothing the she doesn't think of. On my wedding day, there was not a single detail that she hadn't taken care of before I could even have a thought about it. She works so well taking care of the bridal party, family, and vendors as well. Jackie is also incredibly professional and trustworthy. She saved us money where she could and was very cautious and respectful of our budget, even ending up under it. As happy I am to be married, I have a hint of sadness that I do not get to work with Jackie anymore, she is the BEST!

Make sure Jackie is available before you set a date!
I don't even know where to start! I can't say enough about how amazing Jackie and her team were to work with. My daughter's wedding was beyond our expectations, and we owe a huge thank you to Jackie. Jackie brings the perfect balance of creativity and execution to the planning process. Add to that her incredible sense of humor and you have the perfect wedding planner.
We had the good fortune to meet Jackie 6 years ago when we hired her to plan my older daughter’s wedding. We could not have been happier with that wedding. When we decided to host a second wedding in Charlotte Jackie was our first phone call.
Jackie listened to all our ideas for this second wedding, she incorporated the bride’s taste and style and crafted an event that was a wholly unique event and exactly what we were looking for. She took our ideas for a wedding vision and proceeded to elevate our vision to a whole new level.
There are so many details for a wedding. Jackie helped us think through logistics without stressing us out. She gave us excellent, personalized recommendations for vendors (all of whom were fabulous). She was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. She can make decisions quickly. She can effectively wrangle large teams of vendors for the perfect event. No detail is too small.
On the day of the wedding, Jackie and her team made sure everything went off without a hitch, and the day was perfect. I would do it all over again for a third time if I could. Our wedding planning process was a joy.
Of all the decisions we made throughout the wedding process, hiring Jackie TWICE was by far the best! My advice to all brides and Mothers of the Bride, before you decide on your wedding date make sure Jackie is available!

We got married in September 2023 and Jackie made our day as well as the entire wedding planning process so smooth and enjoyable. She is an absolutely wonderful person who is so professional, knows the wedding industry inside and out, and also has a great sense of humor and is so fun to work with. She helped us plan out the timeline and also connected us with a superstar team of vendors. Wedding Planner Extraordinaire
We hired Jackie last year for our wedding June 24th. I honestly could not have picked a better planner to help us with the entire process. She took our vision and helped to create a fairy tale wedding for us. I work many hours a week so i had to trust Jackie to bring me options that would couple with the vision i had shared. She did not disappoint. The vendors she helped choose for us were incredible to work with. Our main requirements were that everyone had to have fun, great food, music and great drinks. Greeks are very hard to impress, and all 250 attendees continue to talk about how fabulous of a time the wedding was. Her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We were planning our daughters wedding from afar and we are so grateful we found Jackie to help us make every little thing into magic! You NEED Jackie to plan your wedding!
I truly would have gone crazy during the wedding planning process without Jackie. We hired Jackie for full planning and it was the best decision we made. Jackie kept us on schedule, connected us with almost every single one of our amazing vendors, and kept us sane. She understood and worked with special requests with great professionalism. Jackie gave great advice on anything wedding related and I truly think she is the best event and wedding planner in Charlotte, North Carolina, and probably the world. We had a larger wedding, 180 guests, and SO many of them have reached out since the wedding to tell us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Jackie (and our vendor team) turned a tent and beautiful historic home into a wedding wonderland. She solved so many small issues without me or my husband ever finding out about them and solved bigger issues calmly and swiftly. We recommend Jackie as a planner to anyone and everyone.

The Most Perfect Night
I can honestly say my event would have not been as perfect as it was if it was not for Jackie. She was helpful, professional, kind, organized and most importantly she always told me the truth and was open about everything. Jackie helped me figure out what worked and what didn't but always in a friendly/tactful way. The night came off without a hitch and it was all because her. I was able to enjoy the process and experience of the night because I had zero worries, which most people cannot say!

Sasha is the best!!
I wanted to do all the aesthetic and wedding design planning myself so I didn’t need full wedding planning service. But I still needed a month-of coordinator to coordinate all vendors and day of timeline… enter Sasha with Jackie Fogartie Events! Sasha absolutely delivered on everything I needed in a wedding coordinator and so much more! She was very easy to work with and knew exactly how to manage all our vendors. Highly recommend Jackie or Sasha for any wedding planning needs!

I worked with Sasha to plan my wedding, she was super organized, responsive, and incredibly helpful. She gave thoughtful suggestions and advice when needed - and was a listening ear when I needed to talk through my random ideas. I was not convinced I needed a full wedding planner, but having her organize my other vendors and day-of chaos was absolutely priceless. The day would have been madness without her! Would highly highly highly recommend!

Jackie is the consummate professional. When I was a nervous mother of the groom she was calm. Every detail was taken care of perfectly but I think the fact she was so organized and truly cared about the event meant the most to me. It is not common to have a vendor that truly feels like your family. But she did for sure.

Where to start…. As an account manager living in NYC, I would consider myself extremely organized and pretty type A. So, when it came to planning a wedding, I thought I’d be able to handle it. Then I got engaged and had to start planning a wedding and it was one of the most overwhelming things to think about managing with a full time job. Especially being that I was planning a wedding in CLT from NYC. The first time I spoke to Jackie, I knew she was exactly who I was looking for in someone to help navigate the process. Jackie not only has the experience (10+ years), but she also has the ability to make you feel heard, comfortable, in good hands, all while making it enjoyable and digestible. Throughout the process, especially toward the end, people kept asking me if I was stressed and thanks to Jackie I can confidently say there was never one point in time where I ever felt stressed in the process. Jackie was meticulously organized, thoughtful and indescribably helpful. Her knowledge of vendors, the process, and concerns you’ll have before you even have them is top notch. She was always lending a helping hand whether that be with hopping on calls to help navigate foreign situations, un-thought of details or offering her opinion in times where I was speechless, Jackie was truly the biggest value add and I could not recommend her enough. In summary, Jackie is a rockstar wedding planner!!!!!!!

Jackie Fogartie Events was an wedding planning service to work with that I found via the Knot just by reading other Bride's reviews. SASHA!!!!!! She was phenomenal! She went above and beyond to help me personally through the stress of planning our wedding and the day of. I hired her for month of wedding planning package, which was 1000% worth it. We were able to sit down with her 2 times previous to our month kick off to ensure that we were hitting what we needed to from a timeline perspective. She was also extremely helpful when it came to recommending vendors and what to expect when planning. Even when things went sideways (I changed my hair and makeup 2 weeks before the wedding) she was able to seamlessly help me out of my original contract and change my vendors to someone that would be able to deliver the look I was going for. She was extremely organized when it came to keeping track of details in a single google drive, orchestrating all the different vendors into the correct timelines and places they needed to be. She handled things that weren't perfect the day of without putting the stress on me. I seriously cannot tell you enough how amazing she was to work with and how she was a HUGE part of making my husband and my wedding day the best day ever!!! YOU NEED HER

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Jackie. She absolutely saved us when our wedding was facing some huge challenges and went above and beyond to swoop in and make everything exactly as we envisioned it. Our wedding day -- and the months leading up to it -- would not have been the same without her. Jackie is uniquely able to balance being your fiercest advocate, a straight shooter, and also completely hilarious and able to roll with the punches as they inevitably come up. We were so incredibly fortunate to have her by our side during this process, and wish everyone was so lucky to have a Jackie as part of their wedding.

Best. Wedding. Planner. Ever. As the mother of the bride who lives in Atlanta, planning my daughter's wedding in Charlotte was no easy task. We booked the venue and band very quickly. However, knowing absolutely nothing about vendors in the local market, finding a good wedding planner was imperative. We received names of many Charlotte planners, did some research, spoke with 3 planners, and had no problem deciding that Jackie was the right one for us. Right off the bat, we loved her confidence, enthusiasm, sense of humor, and personality. She recommended and assembled an incredible team of vendors including floral, design & stationary, hair/make-up, etc. that truly fit our budget and vision. The wedding was delayed a year due to COVID; and she helped reschedule and change contracts. Our ceremony and dinner/dance took place in a major hotel in Uptown Charlotte. As COVID affected the entire hospitality industry, this hotel was no exception. Their staff was basically non-existent; Jackie had to step in and contribute in areas that were outside her scope of responsibility. Over the two years of planning, my daughter and I really got to know Jackie. She honestly became a good friend to both of us. By the time the wedding actually took place, she knew us well, prioritized what was important to us and was able to execute flawlessly. Day of, Jackie and her assistant Caroline were phenomenal! I’m a very detail orientated person and care a lot about the little things, but I have to say I wasn’t the least bit worried about how the day would unfold because I knew I could trust Jackie to implement. The wedding involved a crazy 1-hour time flip (ceremony and reception were in the same room) with a lot of moving pieces. Jackie orchestrated a seamless flip while we enjoyed cocktail hour. From the time we got ready, to the end of the reception, the wedding day felt like a seamless party for the bride and groom as well as us parents. Overseeing the flip, correcting the hotel’s linens, coordinating vendors, plating desserts when the hotel messed up, making sure anything that belonged to us was securely put away, Jackie (and Caroline) and the Dream Team she assembled were the silent heroes that made it truly the best day for us all. The wedding was exquisite with every detail checked off. Not only is Jackie amazing at what she does, she is one of the most genuine, hilarious, fun individuals (with an adorable son) that I've ever met. We miss her already. Jackie is an absolute rockstar.

Jackie is honestly the absolute best; there are no other words I can use to describe her except for absolutely amazing! Jackie is incredibly professional and truly amazing at what she does. It is apparent that she pours her heart and mind into everything that she does and loves her career. She is outstandingly knowledgeable about anything wedding and planning-related. We hired Jackie as a full wedding planner; helping us from the beginning to the end. She helped my fiance and me navigate through the very confusing world of wedding planning during a pandemic and provided us with honest and helpful insight. She was consistently transparent when it came to choosing vendors, the do’s and don’ts of wedding planning, and overall suggestions. She will go to bat for her clients and will advocate for their wants/needs. Jackie notices the little details that do not seem big at the time but are incredibly important to planning a wedding.
Jackie did not steer us wrong! The wedding day approached and went through without any sort of hiccup, and it was breathtakingly beautiful. Everything was planned, organized, and communicated to absolute perfection! During and after our wedding, guests complimented us on what an incredibly beautiful and organized day it was. We attribute all of that to Jackie and her outstanding abilities.
On top of Jackie being amazing at what she does, she is also an incredible human being. Jackie is kind, funny, honest, caring, and outgoing. She will absolutely have you crack up laughing in the process of planning your wedding together. I HIGHLY recommend Jackie as a wedding planner; she is one of the very BEST in the Charlotte area and worth every penny and more.

Incredible Wedding Planner!
I cannot rave about Jackie enough. We got engaged in 2019 and were planning for an October 2020 wedding. Due to covid, we had to postpone to May 2021. Jackie was incredible every step of the way in helping us get things reschedule. In fact, she did everything. Our wedding was the most perfect, incredible day and it absolutely would not have been possible without her. She is exceptionally talented, knowledgeable on the industry and vendors, great at negotiating, has an awesome eye, over communicates (which you want) and most importantly she is ALWAYS ON. She did not skip a beat and not to mention she's such a fun time to hang out with! Thank you Jackie for helping make our wedding dreams possible.

My husband and I got the "We’re almost there! Event Management (aka “Month of Coordination”)" wedding service and it was perfect for us. We sent all of our vendor contracts and the planner handled all the final coordination. She coordinated with vendors, created a day-of timeline, sent the timeline to all of or vendors, and made sure we got what we paid for/what was in our contracts.
We worked with Sasha and she was AMAZING; cannot say enough good things about her. She was a sounding board for issues (vendor and family related), advocated for us with our vendors, gave recommendations/suggestions when needed, and made both of us feel so comfortable. She interacted well with our families, and made an effort to get to know them and our wedding party. Sasha even came to our home a couple days before the ceremony to pick up items for the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception so we didn't have to stress about bringing things with us the day of. She made the final month so easy and as stress-free as possible. I would work with her again and highly recommend her!!

I knew executing my daughter's dream wedding, especially long distance, meant I needed the absolute BEST planner! From our initial interview, I had no doubt Jackie Fogartie was the perfect match! BEST Wedding Experience with Jackie
I truly can't imagine planning a wedding without Jackie! We got engaged and married during COVID and Jackie made the process so easy despite the ever changing restrictions. She helped us lock down the best vendors which was a huge help to me and my out-of-town Mom. She was able to bring our vision to life!
Wedding weekend was truly stress free because I knew Jackie had everything covered. A massive rainstorm blew through 30 minutes before our ceremony, and Jackie had it all under control. She is responsive, respectful and fun! I highly recommend Jackie- she's the best!

Simply the Best
As a mother helping plan a long distance wedding for our daughter, hiring Jackie Fogartie was the best investment we made. From our first meeting, Jackie instilled confidence, listening to our hopes and offering creative ideas and sound guidance throughout the entire planning period. She made it fun, personal, and garnered our trust quickly. When one wedding date turned into three, thanks to COVID-19, Jackie was unwavering in her support and determination to help us have the wedding we’d dreamed of. Third time's the charm!
I can't say enough good things about Jackie. We hired her in March 2019 to help plan our March 2020 wedding. COVID-19 shut things down in North Carolina about a week before our wedding was scheduled to take place. She helped us pivot and postpone two more times, and we were finally able to celebrate a scaled-down celebration in March 2021 (at a new venue, no less). Each hurdle that was thrown our way was made easier and far less stressful because of Jackie. In the end, everything was absolutely perfect. Jackie was not only consistently responsive and extremely helpful, but she was also kind, funny, and made the wedding planning process fun. Not being originally from the Charlotte area, she was extremely helpful in connecting us with the best vendors and coordinating those relationships. We would not have changed a thing about our day, and the long wait was completely worth it. We felt stress-free, primarily because of Jackie and her great work. She is the absolute best!

The Best Investment You'll Make on Your Day
Jackie helped us to plan a small wedding after our original plans were postponed twice. This "small" version of the wedding I had planned to have was nothing short of extraordinary! She managed to help create a vision that made us excited to have a wedding again (after planning and postponing multiple times, it can be draining). Jackie is an absolutely amazing wedding planner! I have a hectic, full time job, so hiring Jackie was the best decision I made. She made the process so organized, easy, and fun. Due to COVID-19, my fiancé and I decided to downsize our September 2020 wedding to an intimate, backyard event. Jackie assisted us every step of the way and made our vision come to life. Jackie made our wedding day stress free!
Our wedding was better than we could have ever imagined and we have Jackie to thank for that. When we started planning we really didn't know what we wanted our wedding to look like but Jackie was not concerned. She continually steered us towards vendors that she knew would be a great fit for us, guided us through tough decisions, and before we knew it we had created the perfect wedding. Throughout the entire process she did a great job keeping us on schedule, provided us with so many amazing ideas, and kept us relaxed so that we could enjoy our engagement. On our wedding day, Jackie was definitely in her element! Every detail was so meticulously planned that everything ran perfectly smooth. We were completely stress free, which made it the best day of our lives. From start to finish, Jackie was beyond wonderful; we couldn't have asked for a better planner! We would HIGHLY recommend her!

Let go and let Jackie!
My husband and I were talking about our daughter’s wedding last night. He was reminiscing about the wedding day and the euphoric moment when he realized it was all going to be perfect and he could just relax and enjoy. I’ll be honest, I knew all along. And it was because of our incredible wedding planner, Jackie. Don’t get me wrong, we had obstacles. And challenges. But Jackie kept us focused and moving through the planning. When we got a little lax with our responsibilities, she gently prodded us along. She was fun and enthusiastic and I miss our coffee meetings! The entire weekend was beautiful and I enjoyed every minute. My advice to you is get Jackie on your team. You’ll be as relaxed and happy I was on the big day.

Jackie was honestly THE BEST EVER! I had no idea what I was doing and did not grow up "planning a wedding" either. I work A LOT and did not really want to deal with a lot of this. She was a referral from a co worker and we hit it off right when we met. She made my dreams a reality and stayed within our budget and even saved some money! The day was flawless and my family and in laws adored her. She took care of everything and is very detailed! I would highly recomend her to anyone. LOVE, LOVE LOVE HER! :)

If you don't have Jackie you're doing it wrong
The two best decisions I've ever made: Marrying my husband and hiring Jackie as our wedding planner. I can go on and on about the countless hours Jackie spent making our day the most incredible event in our lives, but I will try to keep this short and sweet. We all know how great of a planner Jackie is, heck she was featured on Good Morning America for cryin' out loud! However, from my personal experience, Jackie goes above and beyond. Not only would she answer all my silly questions (some more important than others, for example what's the temperature going to be like in the room??), but she just makes you feel like no request is too big, no question is dumb, and no dream is too unrealistic to pull off. I love pizza and you better believe Jackie had helped arrange for surprise pizza at the reception. I can't speak highly enough about Jackie, seriously this review will never do a justice. I will be forever grateful for her services and hope you realize if you want a great wedding, Jackie Fo better be there!!

We love Jackie so much we used her 3 times!
I am writing this review as the mother of the groom. We met Jackie in 2013 when my son and his fiance hired her for their wedding. We then hired her again in 2017 and 2019 when my other sons got married. Her attention to detail was incredible, their was no request she couldn't make happen ( and we had some pretty unusual requests) and we all had fun during the process. Jackie managed to take the stress out of all of the wedding planning and her vendors were great to work with. I highly recommend her no matter what type of wedding you are planning. Jackie, is an excellent listener who truly cares about her clients and she made all 3 of our wedding days stress free and memorable days not only for the brides and grooms but for all of our family and friends. You will not regret hiring Jackie for your wedding, I promise, she is one of a kind!

Look no further brides- she's the BEST in the game!!
I researched tons of planners in the NC/SC area. We had a very unique request from the beginning. My venue had a wedding coordinator that really didn't want to work with planners, but they didn't exactly offer the services and support I would need through the entire planning process. I came to Jackie with a crazy proposal, and she created something very unique for my needs. She was there with me through the entire planning process, and she would give me advice and direction on things that were even outside of our agreed services. She has a beautiful vision and eye for design to fit your venue perfectly!!! My guests raved about how everything looked and we can thank Jackie for that!! She would speak on my behalf in meetings with the venue, when I didn't always feel comfortable enough to speak up. Honestly, she is the total package. Jackie goes over and beyond to gain your trust and make you worry free on one of the biggest days of your life!! I went into my wedding day very calm and carefree because I knew Jackie was there covering everything I needed/wanted and more!!! Hands down best wedding planner - highly recommend!
I am so incredibly happy and fortunate to have had Jackie as our wedding planner – we HIGHLY recommend her to any bride/couple. We recently got married on 5/25/19 over Memorial Day weekend. Jackie was initially recommended to us among a list of other recommended wedding planners from our venue – and after speaking with several of the potential wedding planners, we ultimately chose Jackie for a number of reasons 1) she was a great listener and answered our questions/concerns directly 2) ALWAYS had a solution for any problem or issue based on her past experiences 3) she was incredibly personable and funny.
Throughout the wedding planning process, she consistently proved out all the reasons why we hired her and more, including being organized, sharp and thoughtful. One thing that I was always impressed with was how she has an ability to take into account everyone’s countless opinions (bride, groom, family, vendors, etc.), provided multiple options to a decision and then finally recommend a real solution where everyone was happy. There was never a problem she couldn’t solve. We had one specific last minute emergency that came up a couple months before the wedding – she immediately jumped in, took control of the situation and alleviated almost all concerns we had. We couldn’t be happier about having Jackie as our wedding planner - you will truly be in safe hands with Jackie!

Our experience with Jackie was incredible! As a bride, it is a bit scary to begin the wedding planning process, but Jackie brought an energy and level of expertise that made me feel so confident that we wouldn't miss a detail. Hiring Jackie as your wedding planner is the best investment you’ll make.
We got married at the William Aiken House in Charleston, SC. and Jackie was there every step of the way, even when Hurricane Florence forced us to postpone our first date. She seamlessly re-planned a second wedding 2.5 months later that my family & friends still rave about. Not many wedding planners could’ve done what she did.
There are so many options out there, but few have the talent that Jackie has. She’s an experienced planner that knows what it takes to create a special event. She was recommended to us by the Ocean Course in Kiawah and we feel so lucky to have met her.
She knows how to execute a couple’s vision beautifully. Whether you’re doing a local wedding or a destination wedding, Jackie will keep you on task and on time. We never felt stressed about the details or needed to check on a vendor because Jackie handled all the logistics so we could focus on the fun stuff.

Jackie is amazing!! She explained all of our options right from the start and we decided the Month Of was the best fit for us since we had already chosen most of our vendors. Sasha's excellent support exceeded all expectations!
I’m a pretty organized mother-of-the-bride, so I went with the “month of” service – where Sasha took the concept of organization to the highest level possible! She managed all of the many moving parts, creating a comprehensive timeline and checklist and helping us meet all of the deadlines with friendly reminders. Sasha made sure she understood our vision for the wedding ceremony and reception and she executed it perfectly. She handled all of our vendor relationships, shuttled our flowers, party favors and supplies to the venue and helped troubleshoot any potential issues, such as making sure we took care of the family heirloom veil and understanding exactly how to bustle the wedding gown. And when we ran out of champagne while the bridesmaids were getting ready and my daughter realized she was missing a key part of her wardrobe – Sasha hopped into her car and came to the rescue without batting an eye! I highly recommend Jackie Fogartie Events and will definitely use them again as I have two daughters to go!!

Nothing to worry about when Jackie's in charge!
Jackie was an exceptional month of planner for Ryan and I's wedding. My goal in hiring someone was to take any stress off of us and our families during our wedding weekend and hiring Jackie was the best money we spent! She was SO easy to work with, had excellent recommendations on vendors and I knew I could trust her with anything. We Would Do It Again Tomorrow With Jackie!
We would do it again tomorrow! It was a joy to plan the wedding with Jackie Fogartie💖. As the mother of the bride I can say that the best money we spent was hiring Jackie. From our first meeting her enthusiasm and love of her job was clear. Her attention to detail allowed us to relax knowing we were in great hands. We never felt rushed or stressed making decisions because she timed out all the big decisions throughout the year based on our schedules. She has great relationships with so many vendors in the industry which is critical in creating a group of vendors that works as a team to make your event a success. She not only helped us bring our vision to reality but made it even better than we imagined, all along listening to our priorities and managing all the moving parts. We were able to enjoy every minute of the wedding day knowing she was managing all the details and our guests loved it too. Last minute changes were handled beautifully with no fuss. This is not an easy job but she is a natural at this and she makes it look easy. She became a friend over this last year, she is very fun and funny and I will miss our phone conversations, emails and texts. Thanks Jackie!

Perfect day!
Jackie and her team are amazing! After an initial phone meeting with Jackie, she helped explain all of our options for working with her and her team. For us, the best fit was month-of-coordination and we had an amazing experience with her, Meredith and Sasha! We had Meredith and Sasha to assist with everything on the big day and I honestly felt like we didn't have to worry about anything! They made me feel so comfortable about everything going on that day by keeping me updated but also just assuring me they had it all covered. Everyone was so impressed by how the night went and the attention to detail that could not have been achieved without their amazing coordination and help throughout the whole process! They call it month of but they are truly their to assist throughout the whole process. Jackie and Meredith were both super responsive and so supportive whether we had zero requests or a quick request to add in a few additional chairs for surprise guests! We can't say enough great things about all of them, you can't go wrong whether it's full planning or coordination assistance!

Stop your searching and just book Jackie. Jackie (and her assistant Caroline) were immensely helpful every step of the way, and she will be the calm, knowledgeable friend you need to talk to when figuring out your wedding plans.
Not sure where to start, or what half of these wedding terms mean? No problem - she helped me translate my style into a gorgeous wedding palette and walked me through all the wedding options so I could decide what did and didn’t work for us. She even helped me determine was DIY decor was doable and what wasn’t and everyone was so happy with the results.
Nervous about planning long distance? Jackie not only coordinated everything to work around my limited in person schedule (San Francisco and Charlotte are pretty far apart) but also kept track of all the little decor and registries complexities planning across the country.
Worried if something goes wrong? Two months out from the ceremony my caterer closed up shop and my cat had a heart attack - but Jackie kept the ship running smoothly. She not only adjusted my schedule for the unexpected (my kitty turned out okay), but found me a new caterer that replicated my tasting menu down to the recipe!
Wondering how you’re going to get this all done? With Jackie you don’t have to worry about it - she’s a pro through and through and will put you and your family and at ease right away. As my mom said through the whole planning process - Jackie’s worth every last cent and then some.

Where to even begin?! Jackie was and is beyond amazing! I honestly can't picture our wedding without her. She was a monumental part from start to finish. Jackie came highly recommended and from my first conversation with her I knew she would be great planner to partner with. I had no doubts beforehand and looking back now she handled every logistical detail leading up to the big day as well as the wedding day. I live in Texas and initially was apprehensive about planning from afar. Jackie communicated with both my mom and I so well and eased all my "long distance" nerves. She was always responsive and checked in routinely. Anytime I came back to Charlotte, she made sure to meet up and go over everything that was done and discuss what needed to be done. I had the pleasure to work with Jackie for nearly a year in a half and in that time I realized she was more than a planner to a bride and her mom. She was an individual that cared for her clients beyond the event. Both my mom and I developed a personal relationship with Jackie and for that we are so grateful. For anyone planning a wedding, there is no price tag to big for making your wedding day enjoyable and stress free. Having a planner was without a doubt our best investment during this entire process. There are truly no words for how wonderful Jackie was during our wedding planning. Even from day one, her confidence and drive to get things done was apparent and I knew she was the one for us. It is difficult dealing with me and my now husband some days and keeping us on track but she did it seamlessly and with always so much positivity and encouragement. In months leading up to the wedding, if I ever had a question or concern she had an immediate answer and always was on top of her game. We would have been LOST without her. 5 stars is not enough to express her quality of service, especially with our venue and the coordination it took to get it all worked out (it was at the Ritz and it was a flip.. ). She was there for me through every step of the way and even came with me to my final dress fitting to help me with 11.. yes 11 bustles and she did it perfectly the day of ( I know my mom thanks her). My wife and I were encouraged to hire a wedding planner, and we're so glad that we did. Jackie came highly recommended from our wedding venue Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden and our DJ at Split Second Sound. After one conversation with Jackie on the phone we knew that her confidence and experience would help calm our nerves and work out all of the wedding details.
Jackie helped focus us on the details we were uncertain of and put together an easy to follow day of timeline that helped bring us calm right before the wedding. The weekend of the wedding Jackie worked with the pastor to make sure that everything would go smoothly. Jackie came highly recommended to us through an acquaintance in the wedding industry. After our first conversation, it was crystal clear why so many people rave about her work. Now that our wedding is over, we're actually having Jackie withdrawal...it's a real thing! She is thoughtful, professional, thorough, organized, timely and creative. She is also very honest and realistic about your options...whether it's budget related or a crazy idea you might have with aesthetics, she keeps everything in perspective and is honest about how it plays out on-site so that you know all of your options and can plan accordingly. Jackie is also so personable and warm. My husband suffered a heart attack 6 weeks before our wedding. In sickness and in healthy sure did hit us fast! Jackie Fogartie is the best wedding planner around! I was supposed to have my wedding in Puerto Rico, however that quickly changed when Hurricane Maria came along and I had to cancel my wedding. Once I cancelled my venue in PR I had 2 months to plan an entirely new wedding. When I called Jackie she met with me immediately and started the planning process! She did an amazing job on everything-from helping me find vendors, helping me with design, to making sure my payments were made, and coordinating with all of the vendors so I didn't have to. She was on top of everything the entire time! She made my vision come together. She was great at giving me ideas and helping me understand what I needed to complete the look I was going for. Throughout the whole process Jackie was so calm and made sure everything was getting done in a timely manner. If I had a question about something she would always respond immediately! On the wedding day she took care of everything and made the day run so smoothly. It truly was a blessing having her by my side that day. She took any stress I could have had away. The wedding stayed on schedule because of Jackie! Not to mention she has the BEST personality and someone you want to be around all the time. I can't say enough great things about her! If you are looking for a wedding planner do yourself a favor and book her, you won't regret it!

Jackie could not have made our wedding day more perfect. We were engaged in August and wanted a NYE wedding the same year. Jackie found us THE PERFECT wedding venue on the very first meeting. She made the wedding planning process so easy - I wasn't stressed at all before or during the wedding. She not only had great ideas to help us plan our dream wedding but she had her ish together. She had everything taken care of and we didn't have to worry about a thing.
I don't know what we would have done without her. She's the best of the best and will make your special day the best day of your life.

Jackie is amazing!!! From the very first time we met her we knew she was gold! Her easy to talk to personality helped make working together a great experience. She helped narrow down various vendors and get all the tasks completed ahead of schedule. When we set our budget Jackie did a great job of making sure we knew when we were close to reaching it. Also, she was on top of sending reminders to make sure all payments were made on time. Her experience and knowledge in the wedding industry gave way to great opinions and ideas when I had no idea where to start! She made the daunting task of planning a wedding a fun experience! On the day of the wedding she had everything coordinated with the various vendors and had everything ready to go. If anything went awry I had no idea. During the reception she kept us on schedule to the very end. She made sure that all of the little details came together. She was so calm the whole time I feel like it helped my husband and I relax and truly enjoy every minute of our day! I can't say enough great things about Jackie! Words can't even express how happy we are that we chose Jackie as our wedding planner. We knew from our first conversation with her that she was the one for us. From day one, she was incredibly responsive and organized and makes you feel like you are the only couple she is working with. We immediately trusted her to get the job done and we knew she could handle any situation that might arise. She is so fun to bounce ideas off of and completely went with our vision we had for our perfect day. Jackie saved us so much time by suggesting amazing vendors and setting up all meetings with them, as well as being the liaison so that we didn't have to keep up contact with several companies. Her recommendations led us to some incredible vendors and we were so blown away by all of their work. On the day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly and according to plan. My husband and I, as well as our guests, were able to enjoy every moment while Jackie and her team worked hard behind the scenes to keep everything on schedule. My bridesmaids and family loved her and kept telling me how Jackie did a wonderful job of keeping us all on track, but in an organic way that didn't feel like she was pushing us along all day. She would find a natural moment to transition into the next phase of the evening in a seamless way. Jackie went above and beyond every step of the way. I cannot recommend her enough! She is perfectly suited to being a wedding planner and we wholeheartedly believe she is a huge part of why our wedding day was the best day ever.

Jackie is a superhero. She made our big day so stress-free, so fun, and exactly like we had pictured it. I can't tell you how many of our guests told us afterwards that our wedding was "literally perfect", and we have Jackie to thank for that. She was always super responsive, very understanding of my husband and my busy schedules, and from the day we hired her until our big day she handled everything like a champ. Jackie for President! In short, she went above and beyond and exceeded all expectations. Things that stand out include speedy responses (which was rare from other vendors), being professional, easy to be around, providing detailed to-do lists each month/week, and feeling she was on our team when mishaps happened with others involved with the wedding.
She diminished all stress the week of the wedding and thanks to her the big day went off without a hitch! We now consider Jackie more of a friend than a wedding planner! :)

When I got engaged I had no idea how important having a wedding planner really is. I had randomly attended a skillpop class that Jackie taught and decided to reach out to her when I got engaged because I really liked her personality. It's a good thing I did because Jackie is the best. She is prepared, helpful, organized, experienced, responsive and really listens to what the bride and groom want. She even has an emergency wedding day kit that I'm pretty sure we used 90% of. I cannot say enough about how important she was in making my wedding day perfect not to mention I enjoyed spending time with her during the planning process. Jackie will go above and beyond to make sure your wedding day goes smoothly. All of my bridesmaids want to hire Jackie for their weddings now and you should to!

Jackie was absolutely amazing from day one until day after! Jackie is the most responsive person I have ever met. She kept us organized handled every issue and vendor for my daughter's wedding and the wedding was gorgeous and perfect. She is creative and can solve any issue that may arise on wedding day and it will allow you to enjoy the wedding and your guests with her excellent management of EVERYTHING!!! You would be crazy not to hire Jackie. She will be the best and should be the first decision you make. It was lots of fun working with her and she has great vendors available. All I can say is THANK GOD for Jackie! She was truly the ONLY reason our wedding went so seamlessly. From start to finish, with planning through the wedding weekend, she went above and beyond with everything she did for me and my wedding. I truly cannot put into words how absolutely wonderful of a wedding planner she was. From being in contact with vendors to day of minor details, she did it all! I cannot say enough about Jackie and her glowing personality and her stellar professionalism. From the moment we met while she was showing my hubby and I a potential reception space I knew she was someone that I could work with. She wanted to get to know us a individuals and as a couple. We ended up waiting an extra year to start planning and as soon as we picked a date she was my first call because her infectious personality stuck with me and I knew she would be a great asset to the entire planning process. We only used her for the month-of-coordination but let me say, she went above and beyond from the moment I called her to ask for her availability. I am already OCD, super organized, but man, she gave me checklists and vendor lists that made me even more organized. I work so much and she was beyond patient with my crazy schedule and stepped in to help before I could even ask. I highly recommend getting, at the very least, a day of coordinator. I didn't have one worry the day of the wedding. I got pampered and met my hubby at the alter and partied the night away without one ounce of worry about how the day would go. Thank you Jackie! I think you are stuck with me forever as a friend! :)

There are no words to express my love for Jackie and her expertise! However, I do wish I could post a picture as there was one taken of me lounging on a chair with a glass of champagne the day of my wedding that captures just how relaxed and carefree I was knowing the Jackie had everything under control. She was the first choice I made after getting engaged and the best decision I made to insure my day went perfect; and it did! With a hectic work/personal life schedule, Jackie made sure that every part of the wedding planning and execution process went smoothly. I cannot say enough good things about working with Jackie! Jackie came as a referral from one of my best friends; we were only looking for day of / month of coordination, which is really hard to find these days. Jackie went ABOVE and BEYOND the month of / day of we planned for. She assisted throughout the planning process, kept me on top of my timeline, and was a sounding board when I had issues with vendors we had chosen. We literally could not have done it without her. I would've paid more for her services had I known how much help she was actually going to be. Best $$ we spent on the entire wedding. Outside of being a great support and planning advisor, she is easy to get along with, completely real, organized and does not B.S., which I love. She coordinated our rehearsal as well, which had wayyy too many people involved. I'd recommend Jackie to anyone looking for a full service planner or even day of!!

When my husband and I picked our wedding venue, they required us to hire a wedding coordinator/planner. I'm not going to lie, a part of me thought I had it all figured out and that I didn't need someone to tell me how to plan my day. My venue (Ritchie Hill) recommended a few planners but Jackie was the first and only one I called. From the minute we met, I knew she meant business and that she was going to do everything possible to help make the planning process a little bit easier for me. She mentioned certain things I would have never thought of and she did all of the reaching out to my vendors. She was extremely responsive when it came to answering any and all of my questions and she constantly checked in on me to make sure I wasn't stressing too much.
Jackie made sure that my vision came to life and that everything flowed on my wedding day. Out of all the money I spent, she was the most worth it. She was my life saver, my saving grace and my peace of mind.

My fiancee' and I wanted a fun Charlotte wedding, but we currently live in Mississippi. Jackie was recommended by a friend of a friend and from our first conversation she was fabulous! She is very knowledgeable, energetic, and fun to work with. Planning from afar made me nervous, but Jackie did such a wonderful job I felt like she took care of everything so I got to enjoy the process. The week of our Uptown Charlotte wedding, protesting and rioting started right outside of our hotel. We had family and guests coming from all over the country, and while we still wanted the wedding to go as planned we also wanted to keep our loved ones safe. Jackie to the rescue! She helped us move hotels and contacted vendors so we could still have the wedding of our dreams. When it comes to a wedding, things may not always go according to plan which is why it is so important to have a wonderful and capable wedding planner who can handle anything that might come up! Jackie is the best, she now feels like family, and I cannot wait to use her to plan my next event in Charlotte!

I knew from the moment I met Jackie that she and I would get along wonderfully. She is energetic, knowledgeable, fun, and easy to talk to. All the things you need when you are a planning a wedding
I trusted Jackie from the start from her recommendation for our photographer to negotiating with the transportation company. And what Jackie saved us in money and just overall hassle with the transportation company paid her fee and then some.
Jackie was there every step of the way at the usual meetings and obligations that planners go to but also the ones they normally don't. With my mom and sisters all living out of state I had no one to go with to my fittings for my gown. Jackie came to all 5 (I think, it might have been 6). She was wonderful and made some of the most stressful moments more tolerable.
When it came to the actual wedding week she made many trips to our apartment to pick up the various components of my handmade centerpieces, signs, and other misc décor. She made trips to the florist, the hotel, and the venue. I can't imagine anyone being of more help than Jackie was. All the while with a smile on her face. I cannot even begin to count the amount of times she went above and beyond the call of duty.
BI could write a book on advice for new brides but the one piece and most valuable piece is this is supposed to be fun! Number two is get a wedding planner in some capacity. Even if its just a day of coordinator. Trust me you don't want to be worrying if the florist made it to the venue while you are walking down the aisle at the church. And if you can hire Jackie Forgartie, you won't only get a world class wedding planner you will gain a very valuable friend.

She is great with thinking on her feet, which was much needed when it started to down pour after the ceremony! I consider myself a pretty organized person so when my fiancé suggested we hire a wedding planner I was a little offended. But then we had a meeting with Jackie and by far it was hands down the best money we spent on our whole wedding! Your wedding is something you have dreamed of for years and to have someone else “plan it” can be scary. What is so awesome about Jackie is that she doesn’t feel like someone you’re paying… she feels like a long lost friend or a sister that is helping make your dream into reality. Have one conversation with Jackie and you will see what I mean. Her spunky and energetic personality shines through any conversation. She also has the ability to calm you in any stressful situation you may face. We were engaged for 16 months so the wedding planning process wasn’t rushed yet it was easy to lose track of time. Jackie gave us “goals” to accomplish each month and made it an easy and understanding process. If I ever had a problem or question she had an answer. Her relationship with local vendors was a huge plus, she was able to vouch for their work and tell us what to expect from them before interviews. The venue we picked was very DIY so Jackie had a huge role in making sure all of the vendors worked together to create my dream wedding. My wedding was so much better than my vision and I am confident in saying it wouldn’t have been without Jackie. I highly recommend Jackie and I am pleased to say one of my bridesmaids has already hired her after hearing me rave about her for the last year!

I was one of those brides who was not planning on hiring a wedding planner to help with my wedding. During one of my vendor meetings, it was strongly recommended that I have someone help with the day of coordination - and Jackie was one of two wedding planners that was recommended. After talking it over with my fiance, i decided to just give her a call, and we set up a meeting to chat. i knew instantly that i wanted her to be a part of our day. It was by far the best decision we made during the wedding planning! Jackie went above and beyond any and all expectations or thoughts we had surrounding a wedding planner. She made the whole process so fun and so easy, yet at the same time she was so professional and knowledgable and thorough and detailed!
