Thank You Carly!
We hired Carly as the day of coordinator for my wedding and ended up also hiring her to help with the bridal shower as well. We actually hired her the month of the wedding which I highly recommend. Carly is super organized, follows up with vendors, and is a great resource for any event. She is calm, helpful and looks to solve problems. It would have been a much more chaotic day without Carly's help to get everything prepared in advance, and then ensure things ran smoothly. Would recommend Carly to any bride looking for an extra set of hands that will genuinely want to make sure you are having a great experience!We hired Carly as the day of coordinator for my wedding and ended up also hiring her to help with the bridal shower as well. Carly helped us as a day-of-planner for my son’s Bar Mitzvah. She was incredible to work with and gave me total piece of mind so I was free to enjoy our special day. She was there for everything we needed and took over all confirmation and coordination weeks before the event. Everything went smoothly and Carly was a pleasure to work with. Carly came on at the last minute (seriously, 5 days before) to help us through our daughter's Bat Mitzvah. In a matter of moments, she owned the event. She had connected with all our vendors and got better responses than we ever did. The day of, she kept us on schedule, solved unexpected problems (like my 11-year-old ripping his suit during Coke and Pepsi!), and the event was flawless. And she treated us like family. You could see how she fell right in to the joy of the occasion. I am so grateful that we found Carly and I seriously will hire her for everything we ever do again. She's a unique mix of professional and buttoned-up and thoughtful and sensitive. And I really didn't think anyone would be able to jump in with such short notice, but boy did she. Carly was the absolute best! She was extremely thorough and professional. She took care of everything from coordinating vendors to grabbing bagels for the bridal party. Our wedding was fairly DIY, but we hired Carly to handle vendors in the weeks leading up to the wedding and to be our day-of-coordinator. And we are so glad we did! She did a great job checking in with vendors, following up on details and getting together a full timeline for the day. We were pretty clueless on how to plan a big party like this, and it was amazing to have someone like her ask the right questions and help come up with a plan for how we wanted the day to go. Not to mention taking over the burden of having to constantly email vendors in the weeks leading up to the wedding.
On the day of the wedding, she really was the glue that kept the whole event together. From the morning of, she decorated the space, coordinated vendors at the space, all while sending us pictures of the progress to make sure it all looked perfect. She coordinated the whole ceremony from the moment guests arrived, cued music and timed everything out perfectly with all participants. We had to do multiple transformations of the room to fit ceremony, dinner, then party. Which could have been very confusing for guests, but she was super proactive and always one step ahead. We didn’t have to worry about a thing and that allowed us to just enjoy our day and have fun.
She is also just a wonderful person to work with, so positive and professional. Carly was so wonderful, our wedding would not have been the same without her. Carly was the best - we can't imagine our wedding without her help! From creating a detailed day-of and day-before itinerary that put our minds at ease, coordinating with all the venders for arrivals/deliveries etc and all the way through the evening - making sure that everything got into our hotel suite that we needed, she is a huge reason that we had such a wonderful time.
I was a very hands on bride and took on the majority of the planning myself which I really enjoyed. But, the day of the wedding, the last thing you want to be doing is worrying about details - and there are a lot of details. Carly makes sure that you don't have to think about anything besides getting married and having fun. Thank you so much!Carly was the best - we can't imagine our wedding without her help! My wife and I hired Carly to be the day-of coordinator for our wedding. She did that and a whole lot more. In advance of the wedding, she offered us assistance on any decisions that we needed help with and worked with us to put together a detailed timeline for the actual day. She also introduced herself to each of our vendors and was in regular contact with our venue to make sure that everything went smoothly.

Great coordinator & relaxed, go-with-the-flow energy!
Carly was great and I would work with her again on coordination! She coordinated and oversaw a 3-event, 3-day destination wedding weekend as a "day of coordinator" for me, in partnership with a colleague in the space, Kathryn Shark of Shark Social. It was no small task she took on and she did a great job.
Our wedding weekend has many different kinds of events and Carly did so well with the range of them. We had 100 people in an art gallery, which required a lot of design and execution on her part. We then had a 175 person wedding in a museum with many vendors, starting at 9am and going until midnight. And our brunch was outdoors in a public plaza, very DIY, and everything went off without a hitch, even in the pouring rain.
Carly was particularly responsive and organized as well as go-with-the-flow and calming, which is a winning combination. Personally, she was lovely to work with--nothing phased her as I went through freakouts and needed to take breaks. I know she was equally gracious with my vendors.
She had a great idea to make a detailed wedding weekend timeline where we could drop in notes and details in the weeks leading up to it to compile everything into one place. It really helped all of us (Carly, Kathryn and my husband and I) have one place to put our ideas and thoughts, and to follow up.
If I had an opportunity to work with Carly again, I would like a better plan for how to deal with some of the custom, personal, small details we wanted at different moments that weekend. She managed many of them, but I would have wanted to prioritize with her more or discuss the feasibility of a few details that were missed, like picture taking during brunch, seating arrangements for the ceremony, and getting directions to our picture locations. None of this was a big deal! Just some things I would have liked to tighten up.
