We were trying to have a budget wedding, had made a fire playlist to just let run on the night of, and I was worried that a DJ with just 36 guests might be awkward…? But I kept seeing the same advice again and again: Your DJ makes or breaks your night. Let me tell you: From Above Entertainment (FAE) MADE our night!
I LOVE music and I love to dance. I was extremely particular about my requests for the night - timing of songs for entrances down the aisle/grand entrance, a lengthy do not play list, which genres to stick to for ceremony/cocktail hour, bringing up the energy for dinner, and letting the jams pump for party time. FAE *completely* understood my requests and *completely* delivered - perfect timing for my aisle & grand entrance songs, matching me up with a DJ right away for the genres I wanted (EDM, pop, dance), checking in with me throughout the night that the music was right, and hyping up the crowd. DJ Technique and Wes spun straight and utter FIRE for 3 straight hours. Within the first hour on that dance floor, I felt our investment had already paid for itself. FAE run multiple events almost every day, and definitely know what they’re doing. I would work with them again in a heartbeat.
P.S. If you’re into EDM, ask for DJ Technique. I felt like I was at an EDM concert! If you like laughing, ask for Wes ;) -

I hired this vendor for Dj emcee and Photobooth services at my destination wedding in Hawaii. That is one of the main reasons I hired them. Having a dual service from 1 vendor is convenient for anyone planning a party.
The team is very professional and have a fast response time. I was able to interact with them over email, phone call and in person (day of). I had a positive interaction each time.
DJ- I had a primarily Spanish playlist. Knowing this , they were able to accommodate me with a DJ on their team who had some experience with Spanish music.
Emcee- did a great job setting the vibe of the party and moving along the timeline. Everyone at the wedding loved his vibe.
Photo Booth- had a great setup. The quality of the equipment, backdrop , pics and photobook were excellent! The props were on theme for a wedding but also added some humor.

Wes and Julie are such a power couple and the FAE team is amazing! Super down-to-earth, organized, punctual, professional and personable! We hired their services for DJ/MC & Photobooth at our wedding reception. They helped us build our reception timeline, played all our genre/playlist favorites, and there were so many great options for photo design and layout! Our family and friends enjoyed the evening and shared how much of a fun and great time they had. (We're a local couple with local family/friends. Wes knows how to hype a crowd and get the energy going!) FAE did such an amazing job and we definitely recommend them for any of your events! Thank YOU, Wes and Julie! :) -

100% Recommend From Above Entertainment
The FAE team did a lot at our wedding and they did it FLAWLESSLY. FAE provided the sound and low fog at the ceremony and provided the sound, music and photo booth at the cocktail hour and reception. What was extra special was that the FAE team helped me and my wedding party pull off a surprise performance for my husband. They received the instructions and mix tape files just a couple hours before the ceremony, and when it was "go time," the music came on when it needed to and they seamlessly took cues during the performance to change tracks.
Our guests had nothing but good things to say about the FAE team as well. The photo booth was a hit with unlimited prints (as well as e-files sent to us post wedding via link and usb) and the music was on point. FAE asks thorough questions about style of music as well as accepts song playlists. Between those things, the DJ was able to play the right music to keep the dance floor filled all night long.
Julie was our main contact during the whole planning process as well as on the day-of. I just want to say thank you so much for helping to make the whole process go smoothly from our initial zoom meeting, helping me customize the photo booth printout frames and getting the photo files to us post-wedding.
We definitely recommend anyone planning a wedding in Hawaii to hire From Above Entertainment. -

Amazing Energy!
We knew we had to get From Above Entertainment when we first met them at our friends wedding! Julie, Wes and their team are the bomb! They did our ceremony and reception. The service that we got was Emcee, DJ and photo booth.
You know their heart when you first meet them. They are easy to work with and I felt like I knew them for years!
Julie is well organized and responsive. She answered all our questions about the services they offer.
All our guest kept complimenting how Wes was an amazing Emcee! He really knows how to get the crowd going. We appreciate what he’s done at our wedding because we only had one entertainment and he improvised. Everyone fed off of his energy and had a great time!
The DJ played really good music! It’s a good thing that they asked us what kind of genres to play at the wedding because it would’ve took us forever to choose a song for the playlist. The DJ’s playlist for our wedding was on point! Our family and friends loved how the DJ transitions from each songs and the songs he played.
As for the photo booth, everyone loved it! I appreciate how they gave us an USB at the end of the night. We got to see everyones pictures.
We highly recommend From Above Entertainment! They will not disappoint! They are passionate in what they do and they make a great team! We enjoyed everything and what they’ve done for us! -

From Above Entertainment worked both our ceremony and reception at the Four Seasons Oahu Ko Olina and they did an amazing job. We first came into contact with From Above Entertainment through a recommendation. For our wedding, they provided DJ, Emcee, and photo booth service.
We chatted with Julie, Wes, and Kwon. All of them were incredibly awesome. One thing that stood out to us with chatting with Julie, Wes, and Kwon was their genuineness and the fact that they wanted to learn more about our story. For me this was important because it really seemed like they would be a great partner for our wedding rather than someone that was simply selling a service. We had other conversations with other vendors where it seemed like we only got a few words in. From Above Entertainment wants to learn more about your journey and also how to make your event a wonderful time.
The whole team is extremely professional and did a great job. I will highlight a few things that really make them great and hopefully makes you consider them for your next event.
1. Julie is very responsive, and she did a great job making sure the event was set-up for success. We really appreciated our conversations with her and it made us feel at ease for the day of the wedding. She's very organized and great to chat with.
2. Don K Won was an awesome emcee that kept the show running. He was both professional and entertaining. We really enjoyed his style and had several guests compliment his emceeing.
3. DJ Shift kept the party rolling. My wife and I really love to dance so this was a really important aspect for us. Our friends and us were dancing all night. We had a great time. He played the songs we really loved, and did a good job also reading the crowd. Our guests really loved the music selection.
4. Photo booth - This was a great hit. Many of our friends took photo booth pics to commemorate the night. Moreover at the end of the night, you also get a USB of the photos taken to help you.
Our event was an awesome night and that's in part thanks to From Above Entertainment. I would highly recommend them for your event. Thank you for everything!

Best in the Wes(t)!
Our emcee, Wes, was one of the highlights of our wedding! He brought so much laughter during our reception and made sure we ALL had a good time. Wes and his wife (amazing couple running this business) also made us feel like ohana the first day we met him. My husband and I met up with them at a local bar prior to the wedding and just talked story! We highly recommend any services From Above Entertainment! -

I hired From Above Entertainment for our wedding based on our first conversation. Wes and Julie made it a point to really get to know us and our story. They made us feel so comfortable and we were very excited to work with them. On our wedding day, Wes was literally the best Emcee and he made all of us smile/ laugh so much. It was like he was apart of the family. I sent them my play list and they played a lot of my songs! My guests told me that my wedding was the best party they have ever been to :) When we renew our vows in 5 years, we will definitely hire them again :) -

From Above Entertainment was no doubt the best! They did everything they said they would do and more. Sound quality was top notch. Our emcee was a true master of ceremonies. He made the night extra special with his wit and charm. Our DJ played a great mix, really read the crowd well, and children and old folks alike, had a great time and danced all night. Julie really catered and help guide our day. She really stepped out her way to make sure our day was as smooth as possible, and flexible to any changes that came about.

Booked them for our wedding a month ago and already trying to find another excuse to book them again! They are seriously such a great company and team! Its evident that this is more than just business to them - its about relationships. We met with Julie and Wes at our first meeting and they took the time to really get to know us. We then met with Julie and our DJ Kwon, a few weeks before the wedding and we got to share our story with our DJ. The #1 thing that I absolutely love is that they are Christians and we got to share with them how God orchestrated my husband and I's marriage.
The day of the wedding came and they were ready to go! They made our reception a blast and I wish we could've kept the party going all night! We love From Above Entertainment and how personal they made our experience! They are such a blessing! We can't wait to book them again! -

The day of our wedding had everyone talking about it. Wes who was our MC was awesome from start to finish. He went over and beyond what I expected, he made the crowd hype and involved. We laughed, cried and had a blast until they killed us out LOL. Thanks so much Julie & Wes and even their daughter who handle our photobooth. Cherry on top!
Julie and Wes are bomb! They are real people which made me and my husband enjoy working with them even more. I booked From Above Ent. For coordination, DJ, photo booth, uplighting and emcee. They and their team basically took care of the whole big day and nailed it! Julie made it stress free and easy. We were on schedule all day, how many brides can say that?! Haha That was due to Julie and her assistants being so on it. The reception went just the way I wanted, everyone had a great time the DJ played great songs and had the party dancing till the very last song. Wes was a great emcee he even threw In a few surprises that made such special memories for us. I will for sure be referring them to anyone that need any of their services. And if I have a party again, From Above Entertainment will be my go to! Thank you so much Julie and Wes for making my dream wedding a little more special! -

He is very funny , he did an awesome job! Very professional and got what we wanted as emcee. He listened and gave suggestions. Love the energy and very funny! Thank you so much Kwon for making our wedding memorable. Got booked a DJ from Above Entertainment too!
