We worked with Karla from Flawless Destination Wedding for our destination wedding in Cancun, and she was absolutely incredible. Planning a wedding from the U.S. could’ve been overwhelming, but Karla made the entire experience smooth, organized, and even enjoyable!
She handled both full planning and day-of coordination for us. Her pricing was very reasonable compared to other planners, but what really stood out was the value she provided. Karla has a network of trusted vendors she has worked with in the past, which made decision-making so much easier. Fortunately for us, she also worked with our resort coordinator in the past and was able to reach out to her via text whenever necessary. She helped us get vendor quotes, compare options, and even negotiated with the resort for better pricing.
Throughout the process, Karla was extremely responsive. We had frequent texts and calls, and she never made us feel like a burden. She always found a way to make things work. She even stored some of our wedding items at her home before the big day, which was such a huge help.
The day of the wedding brought some challenges (including weather and resort-related issues), but Karla and her assistant handled everything. As the bride, I didn't even know a lot of the issues going on and was able to focus on getting ready for events while Karla worked with the vendors to find resolutions.

Working with flawless destination has saved me so much stress that goes into wedding planning! Karla and her team from the very beginning was so thorough with follow up from the first call all the way to the end of my wedding night. I felt so at ease knowing I can rely on Karla for any follow up questions, check in with vendors. She always made her self available, she truly cares about what goes into the details of your perfect day and her goal is to make sure it gets done. It has been a true pleasure working with the team. Working with Karla and her team was a dream and the key to making our dream wedding possible. Karla is the most responsive person I've ever worked with, and she took care of every little detail to make our wedding happen. She knows a lot of vendors in the Tulum area and has a lot of experience in the business, allowing her to get things done and resolved really quickly. I often would send her questions and requests in the evening, and they would be done by the time I woke up. On the day of the wedding, Karla went above and beyond to make sure both I, my husband, and our guests were having fun and enjoying the event and not worrying about anything. She responded to guest questions, provided tips and recommendations for guests coming to the Tulum area for the first time, and truly went above and beyond for us. Two months before my Wedding, my previous wedding planner assigned by the hotel had left, and it was the best thing it could have happened to me, because I got Karla! She made my Wedding perfect, accommodated every request, thought of every detail, accepted all my suggestions and it turned out to be the BEST Wedding I could have asked for. I also have to mention that she did this a month before giving birth! And she was at the Wedding until late, to make sure everything ran well. I would recommend her services to anyone, she is a sweet person to work with. Thank you Karla!

Karla not only helped my dream wedding vision become a reality but she took a lot of the work off my plate which made my life easier. As a do it yourself type person I initially thought I could handle all the wedding planning/vendors myself but quickly saw how challenging it is to plan a destination wedding. My hotel was not responsive to my emails and calls, prompting me to find a wedding planner. She made my life so much easier leading up to my big day and really went above and beyond for my wedding day. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to get married in Cancun. She also connected me with vendors and drivers for my guests. Her assistant Tati was also very nice and calmed my nerves as I walked towards the aisle. Working with Karla was one of the best decisions that we made during our wedding planning process! She was an absolute pleasure to work with, had an amazing attitude and always a positive outlook. Dispute us being in America and her being in Mexico, she communicated everything we needed to know through video calls, phone calls and texts. Whenever we had a question she was very quick to respond. One of the best parts about working with Karla was that she always gave us a peace of mind with any of our concerns. If we thought something would be a problem, Karla always had a solution. No matter what the situation was, Karla always got the job done! Just hearing her say “of course, don’t worry” made us feel a lot better about everything.
On the day of the wedding, Karla and her whole team made the day run super smoothly! She worked great with all our vendors and she was in constant communication with her team and they made sure that all our guests knew where they needed to be at all times.

My wife and I started our wedding journey with 2 years to plan and as our professional lives grew, so did the stress of planning our wedding. A lot goes into the big day and the list of things to do only got bigger until we chose to put our faith in Karla and Flawless Destination Weddings. That honestly made the process immeasurably less stressful. Calls were made, emails were sent, and lists were created. It felt like we really found a hero to save us mentally and financially for our wedding. Karla made it possible for us to be on track with the process all while assuring us that we were in good hands. Whenever we needed a revision of a document, it was done. Whenever we changed decor ideas, it was welcomed. The support we received was beyond relieving and as we got closer and checked things off, we became more and more excited for the wedding instead of scared. I can’t put in to words how great Karla is. We are based in LA and planned our whole wedding remote with Karla in Playa Del Carmen! We flew down once to visit venues and she had a whole list of venues for us, had an hour by hour itinerary and also provided private transport. We finally decided on Blue Venado and it was as little stress as a wedding can be. Karla dealt with all vendors, she would send us a selection of 6 or 7 Instagram pages and we would review and select what we wanted and she would negotiate the price. She even set up multiple food tasting so we could choose what vendor we wanted for food when we were in Mexico on vacation last year. She was available 24/7 and time. She had a professional step by step guide we worked through 13 months out, 9 months out ,6 months out 3 months out and then weekly! It was perfect. The day of the wedding was even more perfect than we could have imagined. We have 60 guests fly in from LA, Arizona, Toronto, Vancouver and Scotland and she planned everything perfect! We had so many special request from certain songs with the dj, to a SURPRISE bagpiper who she hid from all guests until the ceremony started. It even rained on our wedding day and her and her team came to the rescue and had a plan B just incase! She is remarkable and wedding planning is in her DNA … if you are reading this, do not read any further - pick Karla, you will not be disappointed. I can’t recommend Karla and her team enough! She helped us plan and pull off the most magical wedding on Isla Mujeres. Incredibly responsive, kind, and detail-oriented, Karla flawlessly organized complex logistics, from ferrying 40 guests to the island to hiring a private catamaran for the return trip to graciously accommodating elderly relatives. Karla and her team were with us every step of the way and the whole day went off perfectly. Karla’s many years in the wedding industry showed throughout the process—-her inside knowledge, networks, and vendors were all excellent. Karla even arranged our beautiful centerpieces to help us save money. Karla was very respectful of our budget throughout the planning process, and helped us negotiate the best deals.
