Events on a Budget was INCREDIBLE
One of my sister’s friend recommended Events on a Budget for wedding planning services and I’m SO GLAD she did! Sam and I got engaged in January and shortly after I contacted Events on a Budget to learn more about their services and packages. We both knew we wanted to get married within 6 months. Based on what I had heard from other brides, I thought a 6 month timeframe would be hard for selecting a venue, contracting all the vendors, sending invitations, etc. After our first meeting with Events on a Budget they reassured us that 6-months would be 100% achievable and they were right! Sam and I decided to go with a “Wedding in a Box” package that included the primary vendors (DJ, Photographer, Flowers, Videographer, caterer, cake, and wedding coordination). Once we signed the contract we were assigned Daniella as our wedding planner. Daniella was AMAZING! We had a kickoff meeting where she reviewed the package with us and then provided us a list of vendor options for the photographer and videographer. We then met at her office and had a super fun meeting with the florist to start selecting the décor and floral details. This also included table settings, etc. Soon after we did our food and cake tasting. Daniella coordinated EVERYTHING for us and had a detailed agenda for the day with addresses and exactly what to expected at each meeting. She noted every detail and feedback we gave on the food and cake and shortly after followed up with a perfectly summarized email. A few weeks after that awesome experience, we meet in the office again for a sample table setting. This was great to really get an idea of what the décor would look like for each table. Next we met with the remaining vendors (DJ, Photographer and videographer) so they could get to know us ahead of our big day! Again, Danielle coordinated EVERYTHING which made it so easy for Sam and I since we both have pretty demanding jobs. The last big meeting before the wedding what the full day coordination meeting. During this call Daniella walked us thru a minute by minute itinerary she put together, for a very detailed orientated person like me, this was INCREDIBLE. She remembered every note from our previous meetings and I felt like really truly understood what we were looking for. Throughout the wedding planning process Daniella made things fun, easy and was extremely organized. One of my favorite attributes was her honesty. When I asked her for feedback or recommendations her response felt like a friend was giving it. The best and most incredible part of the whole experience for Sam and was the actual wedding day. We were SO IMPRESSED with Daniella’s leadership, attention to detail, and overall ownership of ensuring a successful execution of our wedding day. Daniella was EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE throughout the night. She got us a plate of hors d'oeuvres so we could enjoy while we were taking our portraits, she continuously checked we had our favorite drink on hand, she got us our meal while we were going around the tables to say hi to our guests and remembered every single special request we made to her during the planning process. Our experience working with Events on a Budget, but especially Daniella, was absolutely PERFECT and took away so much stress! Even our wedding party and several guests shared with us how incredible the coordination and planning was! Wouldn't have enjoyed my wedding day without them!
I used Events on a Budget for Day-of coordination and they were amazing! Melissa was so organized and helped us feel ready and prepared for each facet of our wedding. Despite being very detail oriented, I had never planned a wedding and it was very daunting to try considering all the aspects of the wedding that would make it a great day for us as well as our guests. This is where Melissa was so helpful in our pre-wedding meeting and put my mind at ease. She's quick, reliable, and offered great suggestions on items we were clueless about. On the day of the wedding, Melissa and Darlene made sure everything ran smoothly and I had multiple friends in the events industry tell me after the wedding that they were so impressed by them. We were able to enjoy our wedding day and all of these months later we talk about how this was the best money spent on our wedding because it meant we could be fully present in every part of the celebration. The Best Decision We Made!
Simply put, hiring EOAB for our wedding planning was the best decision we made. The gratitude we have for Daniella is hard to put into words. She is the utmost professional, so warm, so organized and from the first time we chatted I knew she understood what my vision was. She spent the next 9 months helping me achieve it. An example that really stands out to me is that I really wanted a stage...I wanted the DJ and musicians we hired to stand out from the crowd and feel elevated. My now husband (!), an accountant -- a blessing and a curse lol -- couldn't comprehend the prices we were getting as quotes and furthermore, just couldn't justify it. At our Pre-Wedding meeting with Daniella at the beginning of April, she made one final call and got us an offer even Alex couldn't refuse. Our stage, as you can imagine, looked INCREDIBLE. I owe this to Daniella, 100%....among countless other things she did for us.
While we will miss her dearly, she holds such a special place in our hearts and our gratitude for her/EOAB is endless. The best planner for a Magical Wedding
We worked with Melissa Betancourt from Events on a Budget and Luxurious Events for over a year. We had no doubt after our first meeting with her that she was the wedding planner we wanted to work with. She definitely captured our vision and gave us brilliant ideas which brought the wedding to a different level. This Planner has an excellent team that was always willing to help, including Daniella who was also exceptional. The team has excellent relationships with so many vendors, and Melissa was able to negotiate the best prices and services and pass on their excellent pricing and discounts to us. Melissa kept us so well organized with monthly emails and check in calls so that it never felt stressful. She also accommodated our busy work schedules and met us after hours. More importantly, Melissa always made us feel as a priority and as if though we were her only client (which we know we weren't). As the wedding date approached and we were worried about the weather, she had everything lined up for a plan B, which fortunately was never needed, and we had beautiful weather, but the fact that she had everything ready as a backup made us feel more relaxed. The wedding turnout out to be absolutely magical. We received so many compliments from guests, vendors, and the venue. Outstanding service by Melissa B
Melissa B was our wedding planner and we started to plan 8 months before the big day! This was a destination wedding for us. We are from Sydney Australia, and planning a wedding in Miami could’ve been challenging with the distance and time differences for our meetings. Melissa was so flexible with times, she worked outside of her work hours and for us it was 5am zo meetings. From multiple video tours of venues until describing in detail the cake flavours and the catering. Sending us more then enough information about each vendor and setting up meetings with all of them individually. It all worked out so well! From the beginning until the end Melissa was consistent, organised and so super helpful until the smallest detail. There is a lot of stress and emotions involved before the wedding and Melissa knew exactly how to calm the nerves and found for every issue and challenge a great solution. The wedding itself was seamless and looked like a true fairytale story. All our guests were telling us that this was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever been to. Melissa B exceeded our expectation and we would recommend EVERYONE to have Melissa & the team being a part of their wedding. No Worry Services!
From the beginning we felt like we were in good hands. Daniella was absolutely amazing and helped me with all the little details I hadn’t even thought of. We also bundled our florals with the day of coordination. The flowers exceeded everything I could have even imagined. Day of, Daniella and her assistant did amazing with the reception and made sure we were taken care of. She even helped me change out of my dress, which was no easy feat. We agreed the best expense of our wedding was hiring Events on a Budget. We couldn’t have had such a perfect day without them!From the beginning we felt like we were in good hands. Our planner, Daniella understood what was important to us and made it happen, even when we decided to make some last minute changes! They created the most beautiful day and relieved my wedding planning stress along the way!! With being an out of state bride, I started planning very nervous but Daniella put my ease! She was attentive, professional, adaptable, and efficient!

Great wedding planning services!
I hired Events On A Budget as my wedding planner for my wedding at Redland Koi Gardens. I got a package with them, which included the rentals, DJ, photo/video, and flowers. I hired an outside caterer for the food/drinks, but EOAB coordinated with the caterer and the venue, and they pretty much took care of everything. I also brought some additional decor and my wedding planner set it up for me. She also set up the desserts table. EOAB responded to all questions promptly and assisted me in making all the important decisions. Hiring them definitely relieved a lot of the stress involved in planning your wedding. Passionate, Professional, Perfect!
The Events on a Budget team went above and beyond our expectations.
As a couple who live in Los Angeles trying to plan a wedding in Miami, we knew we needed someone who could guide us along our journey. The team at EoaB were incredible. They put quote after quote together for us as we added and removed things from their traditional wedding in a box package, and they did so without batting an eye.
The vendors recommended to us (and we went with) were absolutely TOP NOTCH. Every single person was professional, courteous, friendly, and wonderful. I can't say enough wonderful things about the people that helped make our day so special.
Know that the most communication will happen at the beginning of your planning process and the month before the big day. Of course they are communicative throughout, but don't fret if you don't hear from them for a while as everything is being taken care of behind the scenes (and there is only so much that can be done 7 months in advance after the big vendors have already been booked).
Melissa and her day of staff were ON IT. Those women work so hard to ensure things are smooth, taken care of, and that YOU don't have to worry about a thing. We had guests come up to us to say how amazing our wedding planners and coordinators were. That's unheard of!

As a couple who live in Los Angeles trying to plan a wedding in Miami, we knew we needed someone who could guide us along our journey. The team at EoaB were incredible. They put quote after quote together for us as we added and removed things from their traditional wedding in a box package, and they did so without batting an eye.
The vendors recommended to us (and we went with) were absolutely TOP NOTCH. Every single person was professional, courteous, friendly, and wonderful. I can't say enough wonderful things about the people that helped make our day so special.
Know that the most communication will happen at the beginning of your planning process and the month before the big day. Of course they are communicative throughout, but don't fret if you don't hear from them for a while as everything is being taken care of behind the scenes (and there is only so much that can be done 7 months in advance after the big vendors have already been booked).
Melissa and her day of staff were ON IT. Those women work so hard to ensure things are smooth, taken care of, and that YOU don't have to worry about a thing. We had guests come up to us to say how amazing our wedding planners and coordinators were. That's unheard of!

The best planners!
My husband and I had an amazing experience with events on a budget! Our venue didn’t come with anything but when we found EOB we were so happy to have them plan our dream wedding! Our wedding planner Daniella was THE BEST! She was on top of every detail from the second she was assigned to us until the last minute of our wedding day. She was so polite, helpful, organized and informative on everything throughout the entire planning process. She had the best patience a wedding planner could ever have even at times where we tried to change things last minute. My only regret was not reaching out to Events on a Budget sooner. Daniella was our day of coordinator and she was absolutely amazing!!! She was so organized and sweet to not only myself and my husband, but everyone in our wedding party. There were several things I was stressed about on the day of the wedding but Daniella ensured that everything was taken care of and truly made our wedding day run seamlessly. Melissa is the most AWESOME wedding planner ever! She is super responsive to emails and is very patient. My daughter's wedding looked amazing! It was hard to believe that we did this wedding on a budget! The florist she uses is incredible. The flowers were beyond our expectations. Our venue coordinator recommended EOAB when we toured the space. Hiring EOAB was the best decision we made during our wedding planning. Melissa was so friendly, respectful, and professional. She's very knowledgeable and is always so honest about what would work and what would not. It's funny how sometimes I disagree with her but I ended up going with what she suggested. We had some last minute emergency with Miami weather and shipping (we are out of town) but Melissa took care of it. We also learned that Melissa was going through some body pain on the day of our wedding and she chose to stay until the wedidng was over. We were so touched by that and had so much respect for her. I highly recommend Melissa and her team. Thank you Melissa and Dani for making our wedding a fairytale! We love you!
